To pair the wireless transmitter and subwoofer:
1. Apply power to the transmitter and subwoofer. Turn on
the transmitter by pressing the Pairing button, located
on the bottom of the device, for one second, then the LED
starts flashing slowly. Turn on the MEGA-Sub subwoofer
by toggling the power switch to the on position on the
back panel.
2. Press and hold the Wireless Pair button on the back of the
subwoofer until the LED starts blinking slowly (200ms
on/off for 5 to 10 seconds), then release the button. The
LED continues to blink slowly for up to one minute while
in wireless pairing mode, and it turns off if pairing is not
successful.
3. Press and hold the Wireless/Pair button on the bottom
of the transmitter until the LED flashes quickly. The
transmitter and subwoofer connect and the LEDs stay lit,
indicating that connection has been successful. After a
few moments, both LEDs turn off.
4. If you paired the devices before placing them in their final
locations, power down the units and unplug their power,
place them in their final locations, then reconnect power
and turn the units back on. Pairing is persistent and will
not be lost when unplugged.
Special Notes:
• Up to three Episode MEGA subwoofers can be paired to a
single transmitter.
• Transmitter-Subwoofer pairing is persistent. Once paired,
they can be moved around the room or house, and when
turned on again, they will automatically reconnect.
• Wireless devices are susceptible to radio frequency (RF)
interference from other devices. To reduce potential
interference and maximize wireless performance, check
the proximity to other wireless devices and relocate them
accordingly if interference is present. Signal interference
created by microwave ovens, ceiling fans, or other
appliances will subside when those devices are not in use.
