Hi-Speed USB 2.0
Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, Model 505932. This guide presents the basic steps to set up
and operate this device. For specications and detailed instructions, refer to the user
manual on the included CD or at www.intellinet-network.com.
Hardware Installation
1. Use the USB cable to connect the USB
port on the adapter to a USB port on
your computer.
2. Using Cat6 Ethernet cable, connect the
RJ45 port of the adapter to a Gigabit
Ethernet port on your router, switch or
other networking device.
Driver Installation (follow Step 3 that matches your system)
1. Insert the included setup CD in your CD-ROM drive.
2. On your desktop, click “Start” then “Run.”
3. When the prompt displays
• For Windows XP — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\WinXP\
setup.exe” (where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).
• For Windows Vista — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\Vista\
setup.exe” (where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).
• For Windows 7 — Enter “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\Win7\
setup.exe” where “D” is the designation of your CD drive).
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the software installation.
5. Restart your computer. Once you’ve re-booted, the adapter is ready for use.

Gigabit Ethernet Adapter, Modell 505932. Diese Kurzanleitung zeigt die grundlegenden
Schritte zur Einrichtung und Inbetriebnahme dieses Geräts. Für genauere Anweisungen

Hardwareinstallation
1. Verbinden Sie den USB-Port des Adapters
über das USB-Kabel mit einem USB-Port
Ihres Computers.
2. Verbinden Sie den RJ45-Port des Adapters
über ein Cat6 Ethernet-Kabel mit dem
Gigabit-Ethernet-Port Ihres Routers,
Switches oder eines anderen Netzwerkgeräts.
Treiberinstallation (befolgen Sie Schritt 3 entsprechend Ihres Systems)
1. Legen Sie die beiliegende Installations-CD in Ihr Laufwerk ein.
2. Klicken Sie auf Ihrem Desktop auf “Start” dann auf “Ausführen.”
3. Geben Sie Folgendes ein:
• Für Windows XP — “D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\WinXP\setup.exe”
(wobei “D” dem Laufwerksbuchstaben Ihres CD/DVD-Laufwerks entspricht).

4. Folgen Sie den Bildschirmanweisungen, um die Treiberinstallation abzuschließen.

Instalación de Hardware
1. Use el cable USB para conectar el puerto
USB del adaptador al puerto USB disponible de la computadora.

Installation du matériel
1. Connectez le port USB de l’Adaptateur à
un port USB de votre ordinateur en

2. En utilisant un câble Cat6 Ethernet,
connectez le port RJ45 de l’Adaptateur à
un port Gigabit Ethernet de votre routeur,
commutateur réseau ou d’autres appareils.

Podłączenie urządzenia
1. Używając kabla USB znajdującego się w
zestawie połącz port USB adaptera z
portem USB komputera.
2. Używając kabla Ethernet Cat6 połącz
port RJ45 adaptera z portem
gigabitowym routera, przełącznika lub
innego urządzenia sieciowego.
Instalacja sterownika (w punkcie 3 należy zwrócić uwagę na system operacyjny)
1. Umieść znajdującą się w zestawie płytę CD w napędzie CD/DVD komputera.
2. Wciśnij polecenie „Start”, a następnie „Uruchom”.
3. W oknie „Uruchom” wpisz:
• Dla Windows XP — „D:\505932_USB_Gigabit_Ethernet_Adapter\WinXP\setup.exe”
(gdzie „D” jest literą przypisaną do napędu CD/DVD).
