Applicaon: The RSPP8E hard start combines a PTC solid state relay

with the start capacitor to increase the compressor’s start-up torque.

Use on a permanent split capacitor (P.S.C.) single phase A/C or Heat

Pump system operang on 90V to 277V; or on an A/C unit operang at

8,000 BTU to 60,000 BTU and 1 HP to 5 HP.

Installaon: Connect the two wires from the RSPP8E to the run

capacitor terminals as shown on the diagram. If terminals are not

available, use the RSPP8E piggy back terminal to connect the wires.
