CONNECTIONS & INDICATORS
Ports
Each of the eight ports
can be used to deliver
both power (up to
15.4 Watts per port)
and data to remote
devices. All ports on the switch support Auto-MDI/MDI-X functionality, so
crossover cables and uplink ports are not needed for connections to PCs,
routers, hubs, other switches, etc. If an LED doesn’t indicate a link or activity,
check the corresponding device for proper setup and operation.

The Power, PoE and Link/
Act LEDs make it easier to
monitor connections.
NOTE: Powered devices
should also comply with
IEEE 802.3af.
Power
On the rear panel, plug in the included power
cord and connect the switch to an AC outlet.
Toggle the Power switch to On and conrm that
the Power LED is lit.
INSTALLATION
Prior to use, position the switch:
• on a level surface with 25+ mm (approx. 1”) of clearance for ventilation;
• away from sources of electrical noise: radios, transmitters, ampliers, etc.;
• within 100 m (approx. 328’) of connected network devices.
For rack mounting, align the two brackets with the holes on each side panel
and screw in place.

Ports
Jeder der acht Ports
kann angeschlossene
Geräte sowohl mit
Strom (bis zu 15,4 Watt
pro Port) als auch mit
Daten versorgen. Alle Ports unterstützen Auto-MDI/MDI-X Funktionalität,
daher werden Crossover-Kabel und Uplink-Ports für Verbindungen zu PCs,
Routern, Hubs, anderen Switchen, etc. nicht benötigt. Wenn eine LED keine
Verbindung/Aktivität anzeigt, überprüfen Sie das angeschlossene Gerät.

Die LEDs Power, PoE und

Strom
Verbinden Sie das beiliegenden Stromkabel mit
der Buchse auf der Rückseite, dann mit einer
Steckdose. Drücken Sie den Netzschalter und
prüfen Sie, ob die “Power”-LED leuchtet.
INSTALLATION
Es wird empfohlen, den Switch folgendermaßen aufzustellen:
• auf ebenem Untergrund mit 25+ mm Rundumabstand für Luftdurchsatz;
• fern von anderen Übertragungsgeräten wie Radio, Breitbandverstärker, etc.
• max. 100 m vom verbundenen Netzwerkgerät entfernt.
Zur Rack-Montage, setzen Sie zwei Haltewinkel in Höhe der dafür vorgesehen
Löcher auf beiden Seiten an und schrauben Sie sie fest.

CONEXIONES E INDICADORES
Puertos
Cada uno de los ocho
puertos pueden ser
usados para enviar
energia (hasta15,4
Watts por puerto) y
datos a dispositivos remotos. Todos los puertos del switch soportan Auto MDI/
MDI-X, los cables crossover y puertos de enlace no son necesarios para las
conexiones para PCs, routers, hubs, otros switches, etc. Si un LED no indica

INSTALACIÓN
Antes de utilizarse, je el switch:
• sobre una supercie plana con al menos 25 mm de espacio libre para ventilación;
• lejos de fuentes de ruido: radios, transmisores, etc.
• dentro de los 100 m deben estar conectados los dispositivos de red.
Para el montaje en rack, alinee los dos soportes con los agujeros en cada panel
lateral y je el tornillo en su lugar.

CONNEXIONS & INDICATEURS
Les Ports
Chaque des huit ports
peut alimenter des
appareils connectés
avec électricité (15,4

données. Tous les ports de ce commutateur prennent en charge la fonctionnalité

Courant
Connectez le câble d’alimentation inclus au panneau
arrière, puis à une prise de courant. Appuyez sur le
commutateur marche-arrêt et vériez que le DEL
“Power” est allumé.
INSTALLATION
Avant d’utiliser le commutateur PoE, placez-le
• sur une surface plane avec un écartement de 25 mm d’autres objets (ventilation);
• loin des appareils électriques qui peuvent être source d‘interférence;
• pas plus loin que 100 m de l’appareil réseau connecté
Pour le montage en baie, alignez deux plaques de xations sur les trous à
chaque panneau latéral et xez-les par vis.

Każdy z ośmiu portów
przełącznika zapewnia
zarówno zasilanie (do
15.4 W na port), jak i
transmisję danych do
podłączonych urządzeń. Wszystkie porty przełącznika obsługują auto-krosowanie
MDI/MDI-X, więc kabel krosowany oraz port uplink nie jest wymagany do
połączenia z komputerami, routerami, czy innymi przełącznikami. Jeśli diody
statusu nie sygnalizują linku lub aktywności, sprawdź podłączone urządzenie
pod kątem poprawności konguracji oraz jego zasilania.

Zasilanie
Na tylnym panelu urządzenia znajduje się gniazdo
zasilania. Używając dołączonego kabla, podłącz
zasilanie, ustaw przełącznik na pozycję ON, a
następnie sprawdź, czy zaświeciła się dioda zasilania.

Zaleca się, aby urządzenie w trakcie użytkowania było umiejscowione:

Ciascuna delle otto
porte può essere usata
per portare sia corrente
(no a 15.4 Watt per
porta) e dati alle
periferiche remote. Tutte le porte dello switch supportano la funzionalità
Auto-MDI/MDI-X, così i cavi crossover e le porte uplink non sono necessari
per le connessioni con PC, router, hub, o altri switch, etc. Se un LED non indica
una connessione o un’attività, vericare la corrispondente periferica per il
corretto settaggio o funzionamento.

Alimentazione
Sul pannello posteriore, collegare lo switch alla
presa di corrente tramite il cavo di alimentazione
incluso. Posizionare l’interruttore sull’On e accertarsi
che il LED di alimentazione sia illuminato.
INSTALLAZIONE
Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, posizionare lo switch:
• su una supercie piana con 25+ mm di spazio libero per la ventilazione;
• lontano da fonti che potrebbero provocare disturbi elettrici: radio, trasmettitori,
amplicatori, etc.
• entro 100 m di distanza dalle periferiche di rete collegate.
Per il montaggio a rack, allineare le due stae con i fori su ciascun pannello
laterale e avvitare le viti.
