Mit dem Netzteil versorgen Sie Ihre PIKO SmartBox®mit einer konstanten Ausgangsspannung in
Höhe von 18 V DC. Das Netzteil kann maximal 96 VA (5,3 A) als Leistung abgeben.
Bei einer Funktionsstörung durch z. B. Überlastung (ca. 5,5 A) oder Kurzschluss wird der elektroni-
sche Überlastungsschutz ausgelöst und schaltet automatisch die Ausgangsspannung ab.
Es liegt also kein Defekt vor. In diesem Fall sollten Sie einige Verbraucher abschalten oder ggf. das
Netzgerät kurz von der Versorgungsspannung (110-240 V) trennen. Nach erneuter Inbetriebnahme ist
das Steckernetzteil wieder voll funktionsfähig.
Sämtliche technischen Daten zum Netzteil befinden sich auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes.
Anschluss des Netzteils:
Schließen Sie entsprechend der Bedienungsanleitung des PIKO SmartControl®Systems 55040 Ihre
Anlage (Gleis, Zubehör, etc.) an. Stecken Sie nun den Hohlstecker in die Hohlsteckerbuchse Ihrer
PIKO SmartBox®(Anschluss „PWR“).
Wichtig! Beachten Sie stets, dass der Hohlstecker richtig fest in der Buchse sitzt. Verwenden Sie nur
den Kenndaten des Schaltnetzteiles entsprechende Geräte. Ihr Regler / bzw. Steckernetzteil könnte
beschädigt werden bzw. nicht korrekt funktionieren.
Achtung: Wichtige Sicherheitsinweise
Bitte bewahren Sie die Bedienungsanleitung auf, da sie wichtige Informationen enthält.
Das Schaltnetzteil ist kein Spielzeug, es ist nicht für Kinder unter 14 Jahren geeignet. Es dient aus-
schließlich dem Betrieb von Modellbahnanlagen und Zubehör.
Schließen Sie das Steckernetzteil nur an eine Steckdose mit der auf dem Typenschild angegebe-
nen Netzspannung an.
Entfernen Sie das Netzteil aus der Steckdose bevor Sie elektrische Verbraucher anschließen
(z.B. Schienenanschluss, Weichenantriebe, Beleuchtung etc.). Kurzschlussgefahr.
Schließen Sie nur Geräte an, die für die Verwendung mit diesem Netzteil vorgesehen sind.
Schließen Sie den Hohlstecker am Kabelende nie kurz.
Vor der Reinigung alle angeschlossenen Produkte vom Netzteil und dieses vom Stromnetz trennen.
Berühren Sie nie die blanken Metallteile am Anschlusskabel, wenn das Netzteil am Netz ist.
Führen Sie niemals die Hohlsteckerbuchse des Anschlusskabels in eine Netzsteckdose ein.
Betreiben Sie das Netzteil ausschließlich in trockenen Räumen.
Ziehen Sie das Netzteil nie am Kabel sondern nur am Gehäuse aus der Steckdose.
Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig das Netzteilgehäuse und das Netzanschlusskabel auf etwaige
Beschädigungen. Bei einem Schaden darf das Netzteil bis zur vollständigen Reparatur nicht ver-
wendet werden!
Zur Schadensbehebung ist das Netzteil an den Hersteller oder einen bevollmächtigten Vertreter
zurückzugeben.
Bitte weisen Sie Kinder unbedingt darauf hin, dass das Netzteil nur entsprechend seiner Bestim-
mung eingesetzt werden darf.
Die Überprüfung und der Anschluss der Geräte liegen in der Verantwortung der Aufsichtspersonen!

Diese Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Schäden, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung entstanden
sind. Sie erstreckt sich nicht auf eventuelle entstandene Versandkosten.

We guarantee that the specified product is free from faults in materials or workmanship. If
nevertheless a justifiable claim arises within two years from the date of purchase we guarantee to
make repairs free of charge. In this case return the article to PIKO together with the receipt issued by
your model rail dealer. The PIKO transformer is subject to stringent safety regulations and may only
be opened and repaired by the manufacturer.
Any contravention will lead to loss of all guarantees and a general refusal to repair the product.
This guarantee does not cover damage caused by incorrect handling. It does not cover any transport

With the power supply you provide your system with a constant output voltage of
18 V DC. The power supply has a maximum output of 96 VA (5,3 A).
In case of a malfunction caused by overloading (approx. 5,5 A) or a short-circuit, for example, the
overload protection is triggered and automatically deactivates the output voltage. This is not a defect.
Just switch off some itmes or unplug the power supply. The plug power supply functions fully again
after it has been taken back into operation.

Connecting the power supply :
Connect your system (track, accessories, etc.) as described in the operating instructions for the
PIKO SmartControl®system 55040. Now insert the hollow plug into the hollow plug jack of the
PIKO SmartBox®.
Important! Always ensure that the hollow plug is firmly seated in the jack. Only use devices which are
conform to the rating of the power supply device. Your controller and plug power supply device could
be damaged or not function correctly.
Caution: Important safety instructions
Please retain the Operating Instructions as they include important information.
The power supply is not a toy and is not suitable for use by children under 14. It is exclusively
designed for operating model railway systems and accessories.
Only connect the power supply to a socket which has the voltage stated on the rating plate of the
power supply.
Remove the power supply plug from the socket before connecting electrical consumers (e.g. track
connection, points switching, lighting, etc.) Danger of short circuit.

Raccord du transformateur d’alimentation:
Connectez votre système PIKO SmartControl®55040 a votre réseau (Voie, accessoires, etc…)
comme décrit dans la notice d‘utilisation.
Connecter votre cordon dans la prise de votre PIKO SmartBox®(prise „PWR“)
Important ! Veillez à ce que la fiche creuse soit bien enfoncée dans la prise femelle. Employez
uniquement des appareils correspondant aux caractéristiques du transformateur d’alimentation. Votre
variateur ou transformateur d’alimentation pourrait en effet être abîmée ou mal fonctionner.
Attention : Instructions de sécurité importantes
Veuillez conserver le mode d’emploi car il contient des informations importantes.
Le transformateur d’alimentation n’est pas un jouet, il ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 14 ans.
Il sert uniquement à faire fonctionner les installations de modèles réduits ferroviaires et les accessoires.
Branchez seulement le transformateur d’alimentation dans une prise de courant ayant la même tension
du réseau que celle qui est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique du transformateur d’alimentation.
Enlever la fiche secteur du transformateur d’alimentation de la prise de courant avant de brancher des
consommateurs électriques (par ex. raccord de rails, moteurs d’aiguillage, éclairage etc.)
Branchez seulement des appareils qui sont prévus pour être utilisés avec ce transformateur
d’alimentation. Ne court-circuitez jamais la fiche creuse au bout du câble.
Avant le nettoyage, débranchez tous les produits du transformateur d’alimentation et coupez le
transformateur d’alimentation du secteur.
Ne touchez jamais aux éléments métalliques nus des câbles de raccordement si le transformateur
d’alimentation est branché sur le secteur.
N’introduisez jamais la prise femelle de la fiche creuse du câble de raccordement dans une prise de
courant.
Faites seulement fonctionner le transformateur d’alimentation dans des pièces sèches.
Ne débranchez jamais la fiche du transformateur d’alimentation en tirant sur le câble mais ôtant la fiche
de la prise de courant.
Vérifiez régulièrement si la fiche, la câble de raccordement au secteur et le boîtier du transformateur
sont endommagés. En cas de vices, il est absolument interdit d’utiliser le transformateur d’alimentation
avant qu’il n’ait été entièrement réparé !
Pour éliminer le vice, il s’impose de retourner le transformateur d’alimentation au fabricant ou bien à un
représentant autorisé.
Veuillez absolument indiquer aux enfants que le transformateur d’alimentation peut être seulement
utilisé de manière conventionnelle et adéquate. .
Le contrôle et le branchement des appareils sont réalisés sous la responsabilité des agents de
surveillance !

Met de voedingseenheid voorziet u uw installatie met een constante uitgangsspanning van
18 V DC. De voedingseenheid kan maximaal 96 VA (5,50 A) als vermogen afgeven.
Bij een functiestoring door bijv. overbelasting (ca. 6 A) of kortsluiting wordt de elektronische
overbelastingsbescherming geactiveerd en schakelt automatisch de uitgangsspanning uit. Het apparaat
geeft tot een belasting van ca. 5,50 A volledige 18 V DC af. Overschrijdt de belasting dit, schakelt het
apparaat naar ca. 15 V DC. Er is dus geen defect. In dit geval moet u uw schakelaar terug draaien (naar
„0“ – positie) en ev. ook de voedingseenheid van de voedingsspanning 230 V AC (wandcontactdoos)
afscheiden. Na hernieuwde ingebruikneming functioneert de stekkervoedingseenheid weer volledig.
Alle technische gegevens m.b.t. de voedingseenheid bevinden zich op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.
Aansluiting van de voedingseenheid:
Sluit uw modelbaan (spoor, accessoires, etc.) aan volgens de gebruiksaanwijzing van het PIKO Smart-
Control®Systeem 55040. Steek daarna de ronde stekker van de netadapter in de holle bus aansluiting
op de PIKO SmartBox®(aansluiting „PWR“).
Belangrijk! Let er steeds op dat de holle stekker goed vast zit in de bus. Gebruik alleen met de
kengegevens van de voedingseenheid overeenstemmende apparaten. Uw regelaar, resp.
voedingseenheid zou beschadigd kunnen worden, resp. niet correct functioneren.
Attentie: belangrijke veiligheidsaanwijzingen
Bewaar de gebruikaanwijzing a.u.b., want deze bevat belangrijke informatie
De voedingseenheid is geen speelgoed, ze is niet geschikt voor kinderen jonger dan 14 jaar. Ze dient
uitsluitend voor het gebruik van modelspoorwegen en toebehoren.
Sluit de voedingseenheid alleen aan op een stopcontact met de op het typeplaatje van de voedingseenheid
vermelde netspanning.
Verwijder de netstekker van de voedingeenheid uit het stopcontact, voordat u elektrische verbruikers aansluit
(bijv. railaansluiting, wisselaandrijvingen, verlichting, enz.).
Sluit alleen apparaten aan, die voorzien zijn voor het gebruik met deze voedingseenheid. Sluit de holle stekker
aan het kabeleinde nooit kort.
Vóór de reiniging alle aangesloten producten van de voedingseenheid en de voedingseenheid van het
stroomnet afnemen.
Raak nooit de blanke metalen onderdelen aan de aansluitingskabel aan, wanneer de voedingseenheid
aangesloten is op het net.
Breng nooit de holle stekkerbus van de aansluitingskabel aan in een stopcontact.
Gebruik de voedingseenheid uitsluitend in droge ruimtes.
Trek de netstekker van de voedingseenheid nooit aan de kabel maar alleen aan de stekker uit het stopcontact.
Controleer regelmatig de netstekker, de netaansluitingskabel en de behuizing van de voedingseenheid op
eventuele beschadigingen. Bij een schade mag de voedingseenheid tot aan de volledige reparatie niet gebruikt
worden!
Voor de reparatie van de schade moet de voedingseenheid aan de fabrikant of een gevolmachtigde
vertegenwoordiger teruggegeven worden.
Wijs kinderen er steeds op, dat de voedingseenheid alleen mag gebruikt worden volgens zijn
gebruiksdoeleinde.
De controle en de aansluiting van de apparaten zijn verantwoordelijkheid van de toezichthoudende personen!
