Montage und Elektroanschluss müssen von einer Elektro-
fachkraft ausgeführt werden.
Wichtig: Der Reflektor der Leuchte besteht aus hoch-
glänzendem Reinstaluminium; dieses Material reagiert
empfindlich auf Druck oder Schlag. Bitte besonders sorg-
fältig behandeln.
Achtung: Schalten Sie vor der Montage die Sicherung des
Decken- oder Wandauslasses aus! Achten Sie unbedingt auf
den Verlauf von Elektroleitungen, damit auf keinen Fall ein
Kabel angebohrt wird!
Montagevorbereitung
Tooling ist als Wand- oder Deckenlampe einsetzbar. Sie
kann direkt auf einen Wand- oder Deckenauslass oder auf
eine vorhandene Unterputzdose (Ø 70 mm) montiert
werden. Bitte beachten Sie bei der Verwendung als Decken-
lampe die “besonderen Hinweise zur Deckenmontage”.
Öffnen Sie die Aufputzdose (1) mit einer Linksdrehung
und entnehmen Sie das Montagezubehör. 1
Verwenden Sie die Dose zum Markieren der beiden
Bohrlöcher.
Montage
Bohren Sie die beiden Dübellöcher Ø 6 mm und setzen Sie
die Dübel S6 ein. Schrauben Sie die Aufputzdose (1) mit
den beiliegenden Schrauben (2) fest. Lassen Sie die abge-
mantelten Zuleitungen des Decken- oder Wandauslasses (3)
etwa 5 cm herausragen und isolieren Sie die Enden von
Phase und Null-Leiter etwa 5 mm ab. Verwenden Sie
beiliegende Aderendhülsen und schließen Sie Phase und
Null-Leiter in der Lüsterklemmenbuchse (4) an. 2
Stecken Sie den am Lampenkabel vormontierten Lüster-
klemmenstecker (5) an die Lüsterklemmenbuchse (4) des
Wand- oder Deckenauslasses. Setzen Sie die Abdeck-
scheibe der Lampe mit den Langlöchern (6) auf die
Schrauben der Aufputzdose und drehen Sie bis zum
Anschlag nach rechts. Achten Sie auf festen Sitz. 2+ 1
Besondere Hinweise zur Deckenmontage
Wichtig: Falls Sie eine bestimmte Ausstrahlrichtung
bevorzugen, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass Sie die beiden
Bohrlöcher parallel zu dieser Richtung bohren. Dann ver-
fahren Sie weiter wie unter “Montage” beschrieben.
Unter bestimmten Umständen (z. B. bei der Montage in
Dachschrägen oder im Fall von direkter Blendung) ist es
sinnvoll, den Reflektor umzumontieren: Schrauben Sie dazu
den Metallring (7) ab. Nehmen Sie den Reflektor ab und
setzen Sie ihn um 180° gedreht wieder auf. Schrauben Sie
den Metallring wieder auf und achten Sie auf festen Sitz. 3
Einsetzen des Leuchtmittels
Achtung: Das Leuchtmittel nicht mit bloßen Händen
berühren (Einbrenngefahr)!
Drücken Sie das Leuchtmittel bei gleichzeitiger leichter
Drehung nach rechts in die Aussparung der Bajonett-
fassung.
Verstellen der Lampe
Tooling ist maximal 300°um die eigene Achse drehbar (je
150°nach rechts und links). Der Reflektor lässt sich mittels
Gelenk um 45° neigen, wie in Zeichnung 4gezeigt.

Wechsel des Leuchtmittels
Achtung: Die Sicherung ausschalten und die Lampe voll-
ständig abkühlen lassen. Das neue Leuchtmittel nicht mit
bloßen Händen berühren (Einbrenngefahr)!
Wichtig: 125 V: Benutzen Sie ausschließlich das von uns
angegebene Leuchtmittel mit der Länge 76 mm! Der Einsatz
eines kürzeren Leuchtmittels führt zum Defekt der Fassung.
Das alte Leuchtmittel lässt sich durch leichtes Eindrücken
und anschließende Linksdrehung aus der Bajonettfassung
lösen. Drücken Sie das neue Leuchtmittel bei gleichzeitiger
leichter Drehung nach rechts in die Aussparung der
Bajonettfassung.
Pflege
Zur Reinigung verwenden Sie bitte nur ein feuchtes Tuch,
jedoch keine lösungsmittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel.

Achtung: 125 V: Benutzen Sie ausschließlich das von uns

Mindestabstand zu brennbaren Flächen: 0,7 m
Dieses Symbol weist darauf hin, dass unbedingt
ein Niederdruck-Leuchtmittel eingesetzt werden
muss.

Eventuell notwendige Reparaturen dürfen nur von einer
Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden. Die äußere Leitung
darf bei Beschädigung nur von der Ingo Maurer GmbH

Note on ceiling assembly
Important: If a non-standard beam angle is required,
make sure that the two holes are drilled parallel to the
relevant direction.Then proceed as described under
“Assembly” above.
Under certain circumstances (e.g. if the lamp is installed on
a sloping ceiling or in case of glare), it may be preferable
to re-assemble the reflector. Unscrew the metal ring (7),
remove the reflector and re-attach it facing the opposite
way. Replace the metal ring and ensure that the reflector
is firmly in position. 3
Inserting the bulb
Caution: Do not touch the bulb with your bare hands
(risk of fingermark damage)!
Press the bulb gently into the bayonet fitting with a slight
clockwise twist.
Adjusting the lamp
Tooling can be rotated by a maximum of 300° around its
own axis (i.e. 150° to the left or right).The reflector can
be tilted through 45°via the joint, as shown in fig. 4.
Changing the bulb
Caution: Switch off or remove the fuse and allow the
lamp to cool down completely.
Do not touch the replacement bulb with your bare hands
(risk of fingermark damage).
Important: 125 volts: Use only the bulb indicated, with
the length of 76 mm! Using a shorter bulb will damage

The lamp assembly and all electrical work must be carried
out by a professional electrician.
Important: The reflector is made of polished ultra-pure
aluminium.The material is very sensitive to pressure or
impact - please treat it with maximum care.
Caution: Switch off or remove the fuse for the mains
supply before beginning the assembly! Take care to ascer-
tain the exact position of the mains cable, so as to avoid
drilling into it!
Preparations for assembly
Tooling is suitable for use as a wall or ceiling lamp. It can
be installed directly over a wall or ceiling outlet or with
an existing flush-mounted electrical box (Ø 70 mm). If
using as a ceiling lamp,see the “Note on ceiling assembly”
below.
Open the mounting box (1) by turning it anticlockwise,
and remove the assembly kit. 1
The box serves as a template to mark the two drill holes.
Assembly
Drill the two 6 mm-diameter holes, insert the S6 plugs
and attach the mounting box (1) with the screws (2)
provided. Remove a 5 cm section of the outer covering
from the cable in the wall or ceiling outlet (3) and strip
about 5 mm from the ends of the phase and neutral
leads. Fit the protective caps supplied and connect the
leads to the terminal contacts (4). 2
Insert the lamp plug (5) in the terminal (4) for the wall
or ceiling outlet. Position the cover with the longitudinal
slits (6) over the screws in the mounting box and turn it
clockwise until it locks into place. Make sure that the
cover is securely in position. 2+ 1

Le montage et la connexion électrique doivent être effec-
tués par un électricien.
Important: le réflecteur est en aluminium brillant très pur;
ce matériau est sensible à toute pression et coup. Prière
de le manier très prudemment.
Attention: débrancher le fusible de la sortie électrique
de plafond ou murale avant le montage! Il indispensable
de respecter le positionnement des conduites électriques
afin d‘éviter de percer un câble électrique!
Préparation au montage
Tooling peut être utilisée comme applique ou plafonnier.
Elle peut être montée directement sur une sortie électri-
que de plafond ou murale, ou sur un boîtier (Ø 70 mm)
pour montage sous crépi déjà existant. Prière de respec-
ter le point «Instructions particulières pour montage au
plafond», dans le cas d‘une utilisation comme plafonnier.
Ouvrir le boîtier pour montage sur crépi (1) par un mou-
vement giratoire vers la gauche et retirer l‘accessoire de
montage.1
Utiliser le boîtier pour marquer les trous de perçage.
Montage
Percer les deux trous de chevilles Ø 6 mm et insérer les
chevilles S6. Visser fermement le boîtier (1) pour montage
sur crépi avec les vis ci-jointes (2). Faire dépasser les con-
duites isolées de la sortie électrique de plafond ou du
mur (3) d‘environ 5 cm et dénuder les extrémités du fil
de phase et du fil neutre d‘environ 5 mm. Utiliser les
embouts ci-joints et connecter les fils de phase et neutre
à la douille du domino (4). 2

Remove the spent bulb by pressing it gently into the
bayonet fitting with a slight anticlockwise twist. Insert the
replacement, pressing it gently down into the fitting with a
slight clockwise twist.
Cleaning
Wipe with damp cloth. Do not use cleaners containing
solvents.

Changement de l‘ampoule
Attention: débrancher le fusible et laisser refroidir la
lampe complètement. Ne pas toucher la nouvelle ampoule
à main nue (danger de brûlure)!
Important: 125 V: n‘utiliser qu‘exclusivement l‘ampoule
que nous avons indiquée de 76 mm de long! L‘utilisation
d‘une ampoule plus courte endommagerait la douille.
L‘ampoule à remplacer est à retirer de la douille à baïon-
nette en la pressant légèrement, puis en la tournant vers
la gauche. Insérer la nouvelle ampoule en la pressant
légèrement par un mouvement giratoire vers la droite
dans l’encoche de la douille à baïonnette.
Entretien
N‘utiliser qu‘un chiffon humide pour le nettoyage, toute-
fois aucun nettoyant à base de solvant.

Instructions particulières pour montage au
plafond
Important: si la lumière doit être émise dans une direction
déterminée, veillez à ce que les deux trous de perçage
soient parallèles à cette direction. Puis procéder comme
au point «Montage».
Dans certaines circonstances (p.ex. pour un montage
sur plafond incliné ou dans le cas d‘éblouissement direct),
il est préférable de changer la position du réflecteur:
dévisser pour se faire l‘anneau métallique (7). Retirer le
réflecteur et le replacer tourné à 180°. Revisser l‘anneau
métallique et vérifier qu‘il soit bien positionné. 3
Placement de l‘ampoule
Attention: ne pas toucher l‘ampoule à main nue (danger
de brûlure)!
Insérer l‘ampoule en la poussant dans l‘encoche de la
douille à baïonette tout en la tournant légèrement vers
la droite.
Réglage de la lampe
Tooling est rotative à 300° maximum autour de son propre
axe (respectivement 150° vers la droite et la gauche). Le
réflecteur est inclinable de 45°au moyen d‘une rotule,
comme au dessin 4.

Importante: Il riflettore della lampada è realizzato in
alluminio purissimo lucidato a specchio. Poiché questo
materiale è molto sensibile a pressioni o urti, maneggiarlo
con molta cura.
Attenzione: Prima dell‘installazione, staccare la corrente
dell‘uscita della corrente a soffitto o a parete! Fare assoluta-
mente attenzione al percorso delle linee di alimentazione,
per evitare di danneggiare un cavo durante l‘operazione!
Preparazione del montaggio
Tooling può essere utilizzata come lampada da parete o
da soffitto e può essere montata direttamente su un‘uscita
della corrente a soffitto/a parete oppure su una scatola
incassata (Ø 70 cm) già presente.Nel caso del montaggio
al soffitto, leggere con attenzione le “Indicazioni particolari
per il montaggio al soffitto”.
Aprire la scatola di derivazione esterna (1) girando in senso
antiorario ed estrarre gli accessori per il montaggio.1
Impiegare la scatola di derivazione per contrassegnare
i due punti da forare.
Montaggio
Effettuare i due fori per i tasselli di Ø 6 mm. e inserire
i tasselli S6. Avvitare la scatola di derivazione esterna (1)
con le viti in dotazione (2). Lasciare spuntare i cavi di
alimentazione dell‘uscita della corrente (3) a soffitto o
a parete per circa 5 cm. e spelare le estremità di fase e
neutro di ca. 5 mm. Impiegare gli inclusi terminali e colle-
gare fase e neutro alla presa del serrafilo (4). 2
Collegare la spina del serrafilo (5) premonata al cavo
della lampada nella presa del serrafilo (4) dell‘uscita della

Sostituzione della lampadina
Attenzione: Staccare la corrente e attendere che la lam-
pada sia completamente fredda. Non toccare la nuova
lampadina a mani nude (Pericolo di impronte a caldo di
residui grassi o polverosi)!
Importante: 125 V: Usare esclusivamente la lampadina
con lunghezza 76 mm. da noi indicata! L‘impiego di una
lampadina di lunghezza inferiore provoca il danneggiamento
del portalampada.
Rimuovere la vecchia lampadina dal portalampada a baio-
netta esercitando una leggera pressione e girandola poi
verso sinistra. Spingere la nuova lampadina girandola leg-
germente verso destra nell‘apertura del portalampada a
baionetta.
Cura
Per pulire la lampada impiegare esclusivamente un panno
umido. Non usare mai detersivi contenenti solventi.

Indicazioni particolari per il montaggio al
soffitto
Importante: Nel caso si desideri stabilire una determi-
nata direzione del fascio luminoso, è importante effettuare
i due fori parallelamente alla direzione desiderata. Quindi,
procedere come descritto al paragrafo “Montaggio”.
In alcuni casi (come ad es. nel montaggio su soffitti incli-
nati o nel caso di abbagliamento diretto) è consigliabile
rimontare diversamente il riflettore: Svitare l‘anello in
metallo (7).Togliere il riflettore e riapplicarlo girato di
180°. Riavvitare l‘anello in metallo e assicurarsi che sia
correttamente posizionato. 3
Inserimento della lampadina
Attenzione: Non toccare la lampadina a mani nude
(Pericolo di impronte a caldo di residui grassi o polverosi)!
Spingere la lampadina, girandola leggermente verso destra,
nell‘apertura del portalampada a baionetta.
Regolazione della lampada
Tooling può ruotare intorno al proprio asse di max. 300°
(150° rispettivamente verso destra e sinistra). Il riflettore
può essere inclinato di 45° mediante un giunto, come
mostrato in figura 4.
