INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing the LeapBuilders

ABC Smart

House™ set. This interactive house building set comes with 20

double-sided learning blocks and 41 building pieces, including

an electronic Smart Star™ cube. Insert the learning blocks into

the interactive Smart Star™ cube to learn about letters, phonics,

objects, greetings and animals. Inspire open-ended creativity

and stacking fun with all the pieces.

Unlock the packaging locks:

Rotate the packaging lock 90 degrees

counterclockwise.

Pull out the packaging lock and discard.

GETTING STARTED

BATTERY INSTALLATION

1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.

2. Locatethebatterycoveronthe

back of the unit. Use a screwdriver

to loosen the screw.

3. Install 2 new AAA batteries

following the diagram inside the

battery box. (The use of new

alkaline batteries is recommended

for maximum performance.)

4. Replace the battery cover and

tighten the screw to secure.

BATTERY NOTICE

• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as

recommended.

• Donot mix differenttypes of batteries:alkaline, standard

(carbon-zinc)orrechargeable,ornewandusedbatteries.

PRODUCT FEATURES

To turn the unit On, slide the On/

Off/Volume Control Switch to the

Low Volume or High Volume

position. To turn the unit Off,

slide the On/Off/Volume Control

Switch to the Off position

2. Automatic Shut Off

To preserve battery life, the LeapBuilders

ABC Smart

House™ set will automatically shut off after approximately

90 seconds without input. The unit can be turned on again

by pressing any button or by inserting a Learning Block into

the interactive Smart Star™ Cube.

NOTE: This product is in Try-Me mode in the packaging. After

opening the package, turn the product off and on again

to proceed with normal play. If the unit powers down

while playing, please install a new set of batteries.

ACTIVITIES

Insert the double-sided Learning

Blocks into the interactive Smart

Star™ Cube to learn about first

words, letters and phonics. The

lights will flash with the sounds.

5. Stacking Fun

Stack the blocks onto the

electronic Smart Star™ Cube to

hear fun sound effects, phrases

and short tunes.

6. Mix and Match

For added fun, the ABC Smart House™ set interacts with the

blocksfromotherLeapBuilders

sets. Simply put a Learning

BlockfromanotherLeapBuilders

set into the interactive

Smart Star™ Cube to see flashing lights and hear learning

phrases and short tunes (additional sets sold separately).

Pleasenote,blocksfromsetsindifferentlanguageshave

unique audio responses and cannot be used interchangeably.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp

cloth.

2. Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any

direct heat source.

3. Remove the batteries when the unit will not be in use for

an extended period of time.

4. Donotdroptheunitonhardsurfacesanddonotexpose

the unit to moisture or water.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If for some reason the unit stops working or malfunctions,

pleasefollowthesesteps:

1. PleaseturntheunitOFF.

2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.

3. Lettheunitstandforafewminutes,thenreplacethe

batteries.

4. Turn the unit ON. The unit will now be ready to use again.

5. If the unit still does not work, install a brand new set of

batteries.

Environmental phenomena

The unit may malfunction if subjected to radio-frequency

interference. It should revert to normal operation when the

interference stops. If not, it may become necessary to turn the

power OFF and back ON, or remove and reinstall the batteries.

In the unlikely event of an electrostatic discharge, the unit may

malfunction and lose memory, requiring the user to reset the

device by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
