1. Shut o the power at the circuit breaker and remove existing xture,
including the crossbar.
2. Carefully unpack your new xture and lay out all the parts on a clear area.
Be careful not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
3. Remove the mounting plate screw (B) and mounting plate from the xture.
4. Choose the number of down rods suitable for your application.
5. Thread the safety cords and xture wire through the rods, swivel and canopy.
Connect the canopy, rods, swivel, and xture body. Making sure all are tightened.
swivel through the canopy and tighten the fastening nut.
6. Loosen the set screws(E) on the safety cable gripper(F), thread the safety cords
through the gripper (F), mounting plate, and out the other end of the
gripper (F) as shown(Fig.1), then tighten the two set screws(E) and adjust the safety
cords length so there is ample room to work with.
7. Secure mounting plate to the junction box using junction box screws, The side of the mounting plate marked “GND” must face out.
8. Connect the driver’s output wires to center cable, red to the center, and black to the bare, make sure that wire connectors (B) are secured.
Then tuck them inside the canopy. Connect the driver’s input wires to junction box wires as shown (Fig. 2). Make sure that all
wire connectors (A) are secure. If your outlet box has a green or bare copper ground wire, connect the xture’s ground wire to it.
Otherwise, connect the xture’s ground wire directly to the back plate using the green screw provided. After wires are connected,
tuck them carefully inside the junction box.
9. Secure the xture to the mounting back plate using the mounting screw (B).
10. This xture features electronic low voltage (ELV or TRIAC) or 0-10V dimming capabilities. See notes below for specic dimming
wires information.
11. To utilize ELV or TRIAC dimming: use wires black (hot), white (neutral) and bare copper ground wire (ground).
12. To utilize 0-10V dimming: use wire purple (dim+), gray or pink (dim-), black (hot), white (neutral) and bare copper ground wire (ground).
Make sure to connect 0-10V prior to power-up the xture in order to allow the 0-10V dimming to function properly.
