b) History Screen
The history screen provides up to 24H history graphs for presence.
You can then change the days to view the history of the last past week.
c) Edition Screen
The edition screen allows for editing Smart Motion details such as name and picture.
The edition screen also includes a button to update Smart Motion with the latest firmware.
To update the firmware, just press the “Update” button in Edition screen, then confirm
action and wait for about 6 minutes for the firmware update to be confirmed.
3. DISTANT MODE
3.1. Introduction
Smart Motion can also be controlled remotely via the internet using a specific BeeWi
Smart internet Gateway. For more information, see our web site www.bee-wi.com.
In that case, it is necessary to use a different web application as described in the BeeWi
Gateway manual.
3.2. Pairing
In order to list your Smart Motion as part of the BeeWi-Home network, it is necessary to
pair it securely with the Smart Internet Gateway. To do this, follow these steps:
1) Place Smart Motion near the Gateway and take the pairing metal pin.
2) Press the Smart Motion button for 2 seconds until the LED flashes twice per second.
3) Press the Gateway button for 1 second until the LED flashes twice per second to initiate
pairing.
4) Once Smart Motion has been successfully paired with the Gateway, the LED will stop
blinking and the new peripheral will show in the web app home screen.
3.3. BeeWi-home server www.beewi-home.com
Go to BeeWi-home portal using a web browser or go to Smartpad and switch to “Internet”
mode to access your peripheral.
Using the portal under your own account, it will be possible to access the same functions
Supported by the SmartPad app:
- Smart Motion status: Motion detected or not, battery level, signal strength, name.
- Alert settings: send an alert email (or app notification) in case of presence detection.
- View history graphs for presence.
3.4. Install the Sensor
Before you fix the sensor on the wall with screws, we recommend that you first connect to
your App or gateway and check that the sensor works fine where you want to install it.
Sometimes, thick walls or places with a lot of networks can affect your signal.
If you cannot connect the sensor in the designated space, we recommend that you place
it near your phone/ gateway within 3 feet and then try different spots.
Once sensor is properly set and working, you can fix it.
Mark the position of the screw holes, then drill the hole. The sensor should be strongly held.
