1-Year Limited Warranty

The Coleman Company, Inc. (“Coleman”) warrants that for a period of one (1) year from the date of original retail purchase,

this product will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Coleman, at its option, will repair or replace this product

or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or

remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made with a similar product of

equal or greater value. No warranty is provided for batteries and lightbulbs. This is your exclusive warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the

original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Coleman dealers, service centers, or retail

stores selling Coleman

products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of this

warranty.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts, parts that are not genuine Coleman

parts, or damage resulting from any

of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product; use on improper voltage or current; commercial use of the product; use

contrary to the operating instructions; disassembly, repair or alteration by anyone other than Coleman or an authorized service

center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes. Warranty void if damage

to product results from the use of a part other than a genuine Coleman

part.

COLEMAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DEFECTS THAT ARE CAUSED BY THE USE OF UNAUTHORIZED PARTS OR SERVICE.

COLEMAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE BREACH OF

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Take the product to an authorized Coleman service center. You can find the nearest authorized Coleman service center by

Canada. If a service center is not conveniently located, attach to the product a tag that includes your name, address, daytime

telephone number and description of the problem. Include a copy of the original sales receipt. Carefully package the product and

send either by courier or insured mail with shipping and insurance prepaid to:

The costs of transporting the product to Coleman or an authorized service center for

warranty service is the responsibility of the purchaser.

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW

1. Operating time for this Tent Lighting System depends on whether it is run

continuously or intermittently. Intermittent operation extends the run time of a set

of batteries.

2. The LED’s are lifetime light sources. They will never need to be replaced.

3. Do not leave discharged batteries in the Tent Lighting System for an extended

period of time as this could permanently damage the Energy Pack.

4. To clean the outside of the product and lens, use only a damp cloth and mild

dishwashing liquid. Avoid excessive water and strong cleaner which can damage

Tent Lighting System.

5. To prevent damage to tent and Tent Lighting System, always remove LED light and

Energy Pack before disassembling tent.

RENSEIGNEMENTS ESSENTIELS

1. L’autonomie d’un jeu de piles neuves dépend du mode d’utilisation (continu ou

intermittent) de ce système d’éclairage de tente. Le fonctionnement intermittent

prolonge l’autonomie.

2. Les luminodiodes (DEL) sont des sources lumineuses qui durent à vie et n’ont

jamais besoin d’être remplacées.

3. Ne laissez pas de piles épuisées dans ce système d’éclairage pendant de longues

durées, vous risqueriez d’endommager irrémédiablement le bloc d’alimentation.

4. N’utilisez qu’un linge humide et du détergent à vaisselle doux pour nettoyer les

surfaces extérieures et la lentille. Une quantité excessive d’eau et un produit

abrasif risqueraient d’endommager le système d’éclairage de tente.

5. Pour n’abîmer ni la tente ni le système d’éclairage de tente, retirez toujours le

luminaire à DEL ainsi que le bloc d’alimentation avant de démonter la tente.

TO OPERATE THE TENT LIGHTING SYSTEM

1. Align tabs on the Tent Light with the socket, and gently

rotate clock-wise 1/4 turn to secure into position (Fig. 5).

DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN TENT LIGHT TO SOCKET.

2. Locate the power cord that was installed into the tent, and

then plug it into the Energy Pack (Fig. 6).

NOTE: If this step is done correctly, the Door Switch will

glow red in color. This signifies that the Tent Lighting

System has power.

3. Press the right button on the Door Switch for the white light

mode. Push once for “HIGH” light setting, twice for “LOW”

light setting, and a third time will turn the light “OFF”

(Fig. 7).

4. Press the left button on the Door Switch for the amber

(nightlight) mode. Push once for “ON” and a second time

will turn the light “OFF” (Fig. 7).

5. The open USB port on the Energy Pack can be used to

charge small electronic devices such as MP3 players and

cell phones that require a 5V DC input (Fig 8). This charging

can be completed regardless if the Tent Lighting System is

in the on or off state (charging cords not included).

NOTE: Not all electronic devices will be able to be

recharged with this system. Some manufacturers limit the

adaptability of their devices with charging systems such as

the Coleman

Energy Pack.

MODE D’EMPLOI DU SYSTÈME D’ÉCLAIRAGE DE TENTE

1. Faites correspondre les pattes du luminaire et de la douille;

tournez alors doucement le luminaire d’un quart de tour en

sens horaire afin de le bloquer en place (fig. 5).

NE LE SERREZ PAS DE FAÇON EXCESSIVE.

2. Repérez le cordon d’alimentation qui a été installé dans la

tente et connectez-le au bloc d’alimentation (fig. 6).

REMARQUE: Si cette étape est exécutée correctement,

l’interrupteur de porte luira rouge, signe que le système

d’éclairage de la tente est alimenté.

3. Pressez la touche droite de l’interrupteur de porte pour

éclairer avec une lumière blanche. Pressez une fois pour

régler le luminaire à HAUTE intensité, deux fois pour BASSE

intensité et une troisième fois pour l’ÉTEINDRE (fig. 7).

4. Pressez la touche gauche de l’interrupteur de porte pour

éclairer avec une lumière ambre (veilleuse). Pressez une fois

pour ALLUMER, une deuxième fois pour ÉTEINDRE (fig. 7).

5. Le port USB qu’incorpore le bloc d’alimentation convient

à la charge de certains petits appareils électroniques, tels

les baladeurs MP3 et téléphones cellulaires utilisant une

prise de 5 volts c.c. (fig 8). La recharge peut se faire que

le luminaire soit allumé ou éteint (les cordons de recharge

nécessaires ne sont pas inclus).

REMARQUE: Tous les dispositifs électroniques ne peuvent

pas être rechargés sur ce système. Des fabricants limitent

l’adaptabilité de leurs appareils sur les systèmes de

recharge tels les blocs d’alimentation Coleman

Carefully read all instructions before use and save for

future reference.

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERIES

Your new Tent Lighting System operates on 4 “D”

cell batteries. For longest life use alkaline batteries.

1. Turn Energy Pack upside down and press

two release tabs to remove 4D battery

pack (Fig. 1).

2. Press snap feature to open the 4D battery pack

top cover (Fig. 2).

3. Install 4 batteries in the correct orientation

as shown on the battery housing. Always

be careful that all 4 batteries are installed

correctly (Fig. 3).

4. Close top cover and install 4D battery pack

properly into the Energy Pack (Fig. 4).

Note: If an alternative power source is sold with

the Tent Lighting System, then the 4D battery

pack may not be included.

MISE EN PLACE OU REMPLACEMENT

DES PILES

Votre nouveau système d’éclairage de tente est alimenté par 4 piles «D». Les piles

alcalines procurent l’autonomie la plus longue.

1. Mettez le bloc d’alimentation de façon à pouvoir appuyer sur les deux pattes de

dégagement pour libérer et retirer le module porte-piles (fig. 1).

2. Pressez le dispositif d’ouverture du couvercle du porte-piles (fig. 2).

3. Placez les 4 piles en les orientant exactement tel qu’indiqué dans le logement des

piles. Vérifiez que les 4 piles soient insérées correctement (fig. 3).

4. Fermez le module porte-piles puis mettez-le correctement en place dans le bloc

d’alimentation (fig. 4).

Remarque: Si ce système d’éclairage est vendu avec une source d’alimentation

alternative, il est possible que le module porte-piles ne soit pas inclus.
