IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Safety is a combination of using common sense, staying

alert, and knowing how your Wet/Dry Vacuum Cleaner

(“Vac”) works.

Safety Signal Words

DANGER: Indicates a hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, will result in death or

serious injury.

WARNING: Indicates a hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or

serious injury.

CAUTION: Indicates a hazardous

situation which, if not avoided, could result in minor or

moderate injury or property damage.

When using your Vac, always follow basic safety

precautions including the following:

WARNING:

- To reduce the risk of fire,electric shock, or injury:

• Read and understand this manual and all labels on the

Wet/Dry Vac before operating.

• Use only as described in this manual.

• Do not leave Vac running while unattended - you may

fail to notice important signs indicating abnormal

operation such as loss of suction, debris/liquid exiting

exhaust, or abnormal motor noises. Immediately stop

using Vac if you notice these signs.

• Use only the battery packs specified in this manual.

See “Battery Pack Installation” section.

• Remove battery pack when not in use and before

servicing.

• Sparks inside the motor can ignite flammable vapors

or dust. To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not

use near combustible liquids, gases, or dusts, such as

gasoline or other fuels, lighter fluid, cleaners, oil-based

paints, natural gas, coal dust, magnesium dust, grain

dust, aluminum dust, or gun powder.

• Do not vacuum anything that is burning or smoking,

such as cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.

• To avoid the risk of self-ignition of drum debris, empty

drum after each use. Combustible materials, such as

rags or sawdust containing stain or urethane, can be

sources of such overheating.

• Do not vacuum drywall dust, cold fireplace ash, or

other fine dusts with standard filter. These may pass

through the filter and be exhausted back into the air.

Use a fine dust filter instead.

• To reduce the risk of inhaling toxic vapors, do not

vacuum or use near toxic or hazardous materials.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose

to rain or allow liquid to enter motor compartment.

Store indoors.

• This Wet/Dry Vac is not intended for use by persons

(including children) with reduced physical, sensory,

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and

knowledge, unless they have been given supervision

or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

person responsible for their safety.

• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is

necessary when used by or near children.

• Do not use with a torn filter or without filter installed

except when vacuuming liquids as described in this

manual. Dry debris ingested by the impeller may

damage the motor or be exhausted into the air.

• To reduce the risk of injury from accidental starting,

remove battery pack when not in use or before

changing or cleaning the filter.

• Turn off Vac before removing or replacing battery

pack.

• Do not use with damaged battery pack, handle, or

ON/OFF switch. If your Vac is not working as it should,

has missing parts, has been dropped, damaged, left

outdoors, or dropped into water, call customer service.

• Do not handle the battery pack, charger, ON/OFF

switch, or Vac with wet hands.

• Do not put any object into ventilation openings. Do not

vacuum with any ventilation openings blocked; keep

free of dust, lint, hair or anything that may reduce air

flow.

• Do not insert any object into the battery receptacle

terminals. Do not bend, warp, pull, or modify the

battery receptacle terminals in any way.

• Do not wire battery pack into battery receptacle

terminals.

• Do not use with a power supply. Do not wire a power

supply into the battery receptacle terminals.

• Do not attempt to reverse the connection between the

battery pack and battery receptacle terminals.

• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body

away from openings and moving parts.

• To reduce the risk of falls, use extra care when

cleaning on stairs.

• To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to Vac,

use only RIDGID recommended accessories.

• When using as a blower:

- Direct air discharge only at work area.

- Do not direct air at bystanders.

- Keep children away when blowing.

- Do not use blower for any job except blowing dirt and

debris.

- Do not use as a sprayer.

• To reduce the risk of eye injury, wear safety eyewear.

The operation of any utility Vac or blower can result in

foreign objects being blown into the eyes, which can

result in severe eye damage.

• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the ON/OFF

switch is in the OFF position before connecting to

the battery pack, picking up or carrying the Wet/Dry

Vac. Carrying the Wet/Dry Vac with your finger on the

ON/OFF switch or energizing vacuum while the switch

is ON invites accidents.

• Disconnect the battery pack from the Wet/Dry Vac

before making any adjustments, changing accessories,

or storing the Vac. Such preventive safety measures

reduce the risk of starting the Wet/Dry Vac accidentally.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION:

• To reduce the risk of hearing damage, wear ear protectors

when using for extended hours or in a noisy area.

• For dusty operations, wear dust mask.

• Static shocks are common when the relative humidity of

the air is low. Vacuuming fine debris with your Vac can

deposit static charge on the hose or Vac. To reduce the

frequency of static shocks in your home or when using

this Vac, add moisture to the air with a humidifier.

• To reduce the risk of damage to the battery pack’s

electrical connectors, the lock must be fully engaged

when battery pack is attached to vacuum or charger.

Observe the following warnings that appear on the

motor housing of your Vac:

• Make sure the ON/OFF switch is OFF and the battery

pack is removed before clearing jammed material,

making adjustments, changing accessories, storing

or servicing the Vac. Unexpected actuation of the Vac

while clearing jammed material or servicing may result

in serious personal injury.

• Do not expose a battery pack to fire or excessive

temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above

212ºF (100ºC) may cause explosion.

• Use Vac only with approved battery pack, refer to

“Battery Pack Installation” section. Use of any other

battery pack may create a risk of injury and fire.

• Do not store with items stacked on top of Vac.

• Use only as described in this Owner’s Manual.

Use only the recommended attachments, battery

packs, chargers, and replacement parts.

WARNING:

Use only the battery packs specified in this

manual. See “Battery Pack Installation” section.

- To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, battery

explosion, or injury due to battery / charger

operation:

• Read and understand all instructions and warnings on

the battery pack and on the charger before using.

• Use only specified battery pack for this Vac.

• Recharge battery using only the specified charger for

the battery pack.

• Never use a battery pack that has been modified,

dropped, crushed or received a sharp blow. A damaged

or modified battery pack may exhibit unpredictable

behavior resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

Properly dispose of a damaged battery immediately.

• Refer to the battery pack and charger manuals for

storage, usage and charging temperature ranges.

Storage, usage or charging outside of specified

temperature ranges may cause fire or explosion.

• To avoid the risk of explosion, do not expose the

batteries to fire or heat.

• To reduce the risk of sparks, burns, or fire, do not

allow metal objects such as paper clips or keys to

come into contact with the battery terminals.

• Battery pack should be charged in a location where the

temperature is between 32°F and 120°F.

• Keep battery pack dry, clean, and free from oil and

grease.

• Battery must be dry when installed on the charger or

vacuum.

• Do not store or charge batteries outside or in vehicles.

• Do not expose charger to wet or damp conditions.

Do not handle charger with wet hands. Store indoors.

• To reduce the risk of damage to the charger body

and cord, pull by the plug rather than cord when

unplugging.

• Locate charger cord so that it will not be stepped on,

tripped over, or otherwise subjected to damage or

stress.

• Do not abuse charger cord. Never carry charger by

cord or yank it to unplug from receptacle. Keep cord

from heat, oil, and sharp edges.

• Do not operate charger with a damaged cord or plug.

If damaged, contact RIDGID Customer Service.

• Do not operate charger if it has received a sharp

blow, has been dropped, or is otherwise damaged.

Contact RIDGID Customer Service with any issues.

When using an electrical appliance, basic precaution

should always be followed, including the following: • Do not disassemble charger.

• Do not attempt to repair, service, or modify the battery

packs or charger. Contact RIDGID Customer Service

with any issues.

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug charger

before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.

• Unplug charger when not in use.

• Do not expose a battery pack to fire or excessive

temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above

212° F (100°C) may cause explosion.

• Batteries vent hydrogen gas and can explode in the

presence of an ignition source, such as a pilot light.

To reduce the risk of explosion, do not use any

cordless product in the presence of open flame.

• Use only RIDGID chargers and battery packs listed in

this manual. A charger that is suitable for one type of

battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with

another battery pack.

• When battery pack becomes fully charged, remove the

battery pack from the charger and unplug the charger.

• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from

other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,

screws, or other small metal objects that can make a

connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the

battery pack or charger terminals together may cause

burns or a fire.

• Store battery pack in a 30% - 50% charged condition.

• Do not touch uninsulated charger or battery terminals.

• Do not use charger to charge non-rechargeable

batteries.

• When charging, make sure that the charger has at least

6-inches of clearance on all sides. Adequate airflow is

required to cool the charger when in use.

• Do not use an extension cord with the charger.

• Do not use battery pack or vacuum that is damaged or

modified. Do not crush, drop, incinerate, or damage

the battery pack. Do not incinerate the battery pack

even if it is non-working or severely damaged.

The battery pack can explode in a fire. Damaged or

modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior

resulting in fire, explosion, or risk of injury.

• Battery packs and chargers are non-serviceable by

user and must be replaced if damaged.

• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from

the battery packs; avoid contact. If contact accidentally

occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes,

additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from

the battery packs may cause irritation or burns.

batteries. Lock must be fully engaged to insure

Accessories included with the Vac. Each Accessory may be used in various ways for vacuuming and blowing debris.

Here is a list of the Accessories and their uses.

Expandable Hose - Provides transfer of vacuum or

blowing capability to work site. Provides the means of

attaching extension wands and nozzles.

Crevice Tool - Use to pick up debris in hard to reach

locations.

Dusting Brush - Use for sweeping up areas with fine

dust or debris. Great for detailed cleaning.

ATTACHING AND REMOVING VACUUM HOSE

(Fig. 2)

1. To Insert Hose into Vac Inlet Port: Insert the

Expandable Hose (F) with the Locking Tab End

into the Vac Inlet Port, located on the side of the

Dust Drum (B), above the RIDGID SWEEP Label.

Push the Hose End straight into the Vac Inlet Port

until the Hose Locking Tab fully engages the Inlet

Port Ridges.

2. To Remove the Hose from the Vac Inlet Port:

Turn Vac OFF. Rotate the End of the Expandable

Hose (F) in either direction to release the Hose

Locking Tab from the Vac Inlet Port. Press the Hose

Locking Tab and pull the Hose End straight out of

the Vac Inlet Port.

INSTALLATION OF BATTERY PACK (Fig. 3)

NOTE: Use ONLY RIDGID brand Battery Packs.

1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid

Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead

Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment

Lid to expose the Battery Pack Receptacle.

2. With the Release Buttons positioned at the top of

the fully charged Battery Pack, slide the Battery

Pack down onto the Wet/Dry Vac Battery Pack

Receptacle. The Battery Pack should engage into

the Battery Pack Receptacle terminal until you hear

an audible click.

NOTE: Do Not push the Release Buttons on the Battery

Pack at this time.

3. While holding the Cordless Wet/Dry Vac with one

hand, Close the Side Battery Compartment Lid.

WARNING:

battery pack with wet hands or place wet battery

pack into charger.

REMOVAL OF BATTERY PACK (Fig. 4)

1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid

Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead

Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment

Lid to expose the Battery Pack.

2. Press both Release Buttons, located on each side

of the Battery Pack, at the same time and slide

the Battery Pack up and off the Battery Pack

Receptacle.

3. Plug the Battery Pack Charger (sold separately) into

a Wall Receptacle and place Battery Pack into the

Charger to recharge the Battery Pack.

4. While holding the Cordless Wet/Dry Vac with one

hand, Close the Side Battery Compartment Lid, until

Battery is fully charged and ready to be reinstalled.

! WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, explosion, or damage to Vac:

• Do not leave Vac running while unattended - you may fail to notice important signs indicating abnormal

operation such as loss of suction, debris/liquid exiting the exhaust, or abnormal motor noises.

Immediately stop using Vac if you notice these signs.

•Remove battery pack when not in use.

•Do not continue running when float has cut off suction.

•Sparks inside the motor can ignite airborne flammables. Do not operate Vac near flammable

liquids or in areas with flammable gases, vapors, or explosive/airborne dust. Flammable liquids,

gases, and vapors include: lighter fluid, solvent-type cleaners, oil-based paints, gasoline, alcohol,

and aerosol sprays. Explosive dusts include: coal, magnesium, aluminum, grain, and gun powder.

•Do not vacuum up explosive dusts, flammable liquids, or hot ashes.

•Do not leave sawdust or rags with stain or polyurethane residue inside Vac. Empty drum after picking up

these potentially self-heating materials.

! WARNING: To reduce the risk of electric shock or injury:

• Do not expose to rain or allow liquid to enter motor compartment. Store indoors.

! CAUTION: To reduce the risk of hearing damage, wear ear protectors when using the

Vac/Blower for extended time or in a noisy area.

ON/OFF SWITCH (Fig. 5)

With the Battery Pack engaged onto the Wet/Dry Vac

Battery Pack Receptacle, turn the Vac “ON” by pressing

in on the “I” (top) ON/OFF Switch. To turn “OFF”, press

the “O” (bottom) on the ON/OFF Switch. The symbols

used on the Switch Actuator are international “ON &

OFF” symbols.

NOTE: Use only a RIDGID 18 V Battery Pack.

The HD03180 will operate with the Batteries listed in the

“Battery Pack Installation” section.

NOTE: Your Cordless Wet/Dry Vac will operate on

one battery only. For best performance, install one

Fully-Charged Battery Pack before beginning operation.

Minimum recommended Battery Capacity is 4.0Ah per

Battery Pack.

- Make sure Vac is turned OFF (O).

- Insert Battery Pack, as shown in the “Battery Pack

Installation” section.

- Make sure the Battery Pack Release Buttons snaps

into place and the Battery Pack is secure before

beginning operation.

- Depress the Battery Pack Release Buttons to

remove the Battery Pack.

OPERATION

VACUUMING DRY MATERIALS

1. The Filter must always be in correct position at all

times to avoid leaks and possible damage to Vac.

2. When using your Vac to pick up very fine dust,

it will be necessary for you to empty the Drum

and clean the Filter at more frequent intervals to

maintain peak Vac performance.

NOTE: A dry Filter is necessary to pick up dry material.

If you use your Vac to pick up dust when the Filter is

wet, the Filter will clog quickly and be very difficult to

clean.

VACUUMING LIQUIDS

1. Vacuuming up small amounts of liquid (less than

2” (5 cm) collected in Dust Drum) does not require

Filter removal.

2. When larger amounts of liquid are to be picked up,

remove all Dry Use Only Paper Filter(s) and replace

with a RIDGID VF3700 Wet Application Foam Filter.

Do Not remove the Filter Cage or Float. The Foam

Filter is specifically designed for high volume liquid

pick up. If the Paper Filter is used and becomes

saturated, you may see “mist” coming from the

Blowing Port.

3. When the Drum is “full” the Float will rise and cut

off airflow. The motor sound will rise in pitch and

its speed will increase indicating the Drum is “full”.

Turn OFF the Vac before emptying the Drum.

4. Following use of Vac for wet pick up, allow Filter to

dry completely to avoid mildew and Filter damage.

IMPORTANT: To reduce the risk of damage to the Vac,

do not run Motor with Float in raised position.

! WARNING:

Do not operate without filter cage and float, as

they prevent liquid from entering the impeller and

damaging the motor.

EMPTYING THE DUST DRUM (Fig. 6)

1. Remove the Powerhead Assembly (A) to empty

contents of the Dust Drum (B), simply lift the Two

Powerhead Assembly Latches on the front and rear

of the Vac.

2. Lift the Powerhead Assembly Carry Handle and

remove the Powerhead Assembly (A) from the

Dust Drum (B).

3. Set the Powerhead Assembly (A) upright in a clean,

dry area while emptying the Drum.

4. Dump the Dust Drum (B) contents into the proper

waste disposal container.

5. The Dust Drum (B) should be emptied and cleaned

before storing your Vac.

RIDGID SWEEP FEATURE (Fig. 7)

Your Wet/Dry Vac has the capability to be used as a

powered dust pan for quickly cleaning up dry debris.

IMPORTANT: The Expandable Hose (F) must be in the

storage position. The Hose must be attached to the Vac

Inlet Port and the SWEEP Inlet Port.

1. With the Battery Pack engaged into Wet/Dry Vac

Battery Pack Receptacle.

2. Locate the RIDGID SWEEP Dust Pan on the bottom

of the hose storage area.

3. While leaving the hose securely stored, turn the Vac

ON.

4. Sweep dirt and debris towards the RIDGID SWEEP

Dust Pan to quickly clean up the mess.

5. Once complete, remove the Powerhead Assembly

(A) and dump the Dust Drum (B) contents into the

proper waste disposal container.

6. The Dust Drum (B) should be emptied and cleaned

before storing your Vac.

NOTE: The RIDGID SWEEP feature works best picking

up dry debris. Using the RIDGID SWEEP feature to pick

up liquids is not recommended.

BLOWING FEATURE (Fig. 8)

Your Wet/Dry Vac has the capability to be used as a

Blower for yard work, patio cleanup and workshop

applications to blow sawdust and other debris.

1. Push down on the Side Battery Compartment Lid

Latch, located at the top left of the Powerhead

Assembly (A). Open the Side Battery Compartment

Lid to expose the Blower Port.

2. To Insert Hose: Insert the Expandable Hose (F)

with the Locking Tab end into the Vac Blower Port.

Push the Hose end straight into the Blower Port

until the Hose Locking Tab fully engages the Blower

Port Ridges.

3. With the Battery Pack engaged onto the Wet/Dry

Vac Battery Pack Receptacle. Turn Vac ON and you

are ready to use your Vac as a Blower.

4. To Remove the Hose from the Vac: Turn Vac OFF.

Rotate the end of the Expandable Hose (F) in either

direction to release the Hose Locking Tab from the

Blower Port. Press the Hose Locking Tab and pull

the Hose end straight out of the Blower Port.

When vacuuming is complete, your. RIDGID Wet/Dry

Vac has convenient locations to store the Power Cord,

Expandable Hose (F), and Accessories.

NOTE: Remove the Battery Pack from the Wet/Dry Vac

Battery Pack Receptacle for storage.

TOP COVER ACCESSORY STORAGE (Fig. 9)

1. Push in on the Top Cover Lid to release the

latch. Rotate the Top Cover Lid up to expose the

Accessory Storage Compartment.

2. Place the Crevice Tool (D) and the Dusting Brush

(E) onto the specific locations molded into the

compartment housing, as shown. Only these

two specific accessories should be stored in this

location.

3. Rotate the Top Cover Lid down and snap the latch

into place, storing the Accessories.

NOTE: Regularly check and empty any liquids from the

Accessory and the Battery Compartments.

HOSE STORAGE (Fig. 10)

1. Insert the Expandable Hose (F) with the Locking

Tab End into the Vac Inlet Port, located on the side

of the Dust Drum (B), above the RIDGID SWEEP

Label. Feed the Expandable Hose (F) up and around

the Hose Storage Lip and down the back side to

place the other End of the Hose into the SWEEP

Inlet Port.

WARNING:

Do not put any object into ventilation openings.

MAINTENANCE

FILTER

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of injury from accidental

starting, disengage and remove battery pack from

the wet/dry vac receptacle before changing or

cleaning filter.

NOTE: The Filter (C) is made of high quality paper

designed to stop small particles of dust. The Filter can

be used for dry pick up or small amounts of liquid.

Handle the Filter carefully when removing or installing it.

Creases in the Filter Pleats may occur from installation

but will not affect the performance of the Filter.

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION OF THE

QWIK LOCK™ FILTER (Fig. 11)

1. To Remove Filter: Place fingers under the Two Filter

Tabs.

2. While pressing down with one thumb on the Qwik

Lock™ Stud, that protrudes through the center

of the Filter Plate, lift up on the Tabs until Filter

releases.

3. Slide Filter off Filter Cage. Filter Cage and Float

should not be removed.

IMPORTANT: To avoid Blower Wheel and Motor

Damage always reinstall Filter before using Vac for

dry pickup.

4. To Install Filter: Slide the Qwik Lock™ Filter (C)

over the Filter Cage while aligning the Qwik Lock™

Stud on the Filter Cage with the center hole in the

Qwik Lock™ Integrated Filter Plate.

5. Make sure the Rubber Gasket at the bottom of the

Qwik Lock™ Filter (C) seats around the base of the

Filter Cage.

6. Firmly press the Qwik Lock™ Integrated Filter Plate

down around the Qwik Lock™ Stud until it snaps

into place.

NOTE: Failure to properly seat the bottom Gasket and

Integrated Filter Plate to the Filter Cage could result in

debris bypassing the Filter.

Your Filter should be cleaned often to maintain peak

Vac performance.

CLEANING A DRY FILTER

1. Some removal of dry debris can be accomplished

without removing the Filter from the Vac. Slap your

hand on top of the Lid while the Vac is turned OFF.

2. For best cleaning results due to accumulated dust,

clean the Filter outdoors in an open area.

3. After Filter removal from Vac, remove the dry debris

by gently tapping Filter against the inside wall of

your Dust Drum. The debris will loosen and fall.

4. For thorough cleaning of Dry Filter with fine dust

(no debris), run water through Filter as described

under “Cleaning A Wet Filter”.

CLEANING A WET FILTER

After Filter is removed, run water through the Filter

from a hose or spigot. Take care that water pressure

from the hose is not strong enough to damage Filter.

IMPORTANT: After cleaning, check the Filter for tears

or small holes. Do not use a Filter with holes or tears in

it. Even a small hole can allow dust to come out of your

Vac. Replace it immediately.

Allow the Filter to dry completely before reinstalling and

storing the Vac or picking up dry debris.

caso de daños, contacte a servicio al cliente RIDGID.

•No utilice el cargador si hay recibido un golpe fuerte, se

•No exponga el paquete de batería a un fuego o a una

temperatura excesiva. Es posible que la exposición a un

fuego o a una temperatura superior a 212 °F (100 °C) cause

una explosión.

•Las baterías desprenden gas hidrógeno y pueden explotar

en presencia de una fuente de ignición, tal como una

luz piloto. Para reducir el riesgo de explosión, no utilice

ningún producto inalámbrico en presencia de una llama al

descubierto.

•Utilice únicamente los cargadores y el paquete de batería

RIDGID indicados en este manual. Es posible que un

cargador que sea adecuado para un tipo de paquete de

batería cree un riesgo de incendio cuando se utilice con otro

paquete de batería.

•Cuando el paquete de batería se cargue completamente,

retírelo del cargador y desenchufe el cargador.

•Cuando el paquete de batería no se estén utilizando,

manténgalos alejados de otros objetos metálicos, tales

como clips sujetapapeles, monedas, llaves, clavos, tornillos

u otros objetos metálicos pequeños que puedan hacer una

conexión de un terminal a otro. Si se cortocircuitan juntos el

paquete de batería o los terminales del cargador, es posible

que el resultado sea quemaduras o un incendio.

• Almacene el paquete de batería en un estado de carga del

30 al 50 %.

• No toque los terminales del cargador o de la batería que no

tienen aislamiento.

• No utilice el cargador para cargar baterías no recargables.

•Cuando cargue una batería, asegúrese de que el cargador

tenga al menos 6 pulgadas de holgura en todos los lados.

Se requiere una circulación de aire adecuada para enfriar el

cargador cuando se esté utilizando.

• No utilice un cable de extensión con el cargador.

•No utilice un paquete de batería o una aspiradora que

tenga daños o modificaciones. No aplaste, deje caer,

incinere ni dañe el paquete de batería. No incinere el

paquete de batería incluso si no está funcionando o si

está severamente dañado. El paquete de batería puede

explotar en un fuego. Es posible que las baterías dañadas

o modificadas exhiban un comportamiento imprevisible

que cause un incendio, una explosión o riesgo de lesiones.

•Los paquetes de batería y los cargadores no pueden

ser ajustados ni reparados por el usuario y deben ser

reemplazados si están dañados.

• En condiciones abusivas, es posible que se expulse líquido

del paquete de batería; evite el contacto. Si ocurre contacto

accidentalmente, enjuague con agua el área afectada. Si

entra líquido en contacto con los ojos, obtenga además

ayuda médica. Es posible que el líquido expulsado de el

paquete de batería cause irritación o quemaduras.

Esta aspiradora para seco/mojado inalámbrica está diseñada

INTRODUCCIÓN

Manguera expansible: Proporciona transferencia de

las boquillas.

Boquilla rinconera: Utilícela para recoger residuos en lugares

difíciles de alcanzar.

Cepillo para polvo: Utilícelo para limpiar áreas en las que haya

polvo fino o residuos finos. Magnífico para realizar limpieza

detallada.

Familiarícese con los controles y las características de la aspiradora para mojado/seco antes de utilizarla. Familiarícese con los

accesorios que se incluyen con la aspiradora. Cada accesorio puede usarse de diversas maneras para aspirar y soplar residuos. A

INSTALACIÓN Y DESINSTALACIÓN

DE LA MANGUERA DE ASPIRACIÓN (Fig. 2)

1. Para insertar la manguera en el puerto de entrada de

la aspiradora: Inserte la manguera expansible (F) con

el extremo en el que está la lengüeta de fijación en el

puerto de entrada de la aspiradora, ubicado en el lado

del tambor colector de polvo (B), encima de la etiqueta

RIDGID SWEEP. Empuje el extremo de la manguera

directamente hacia el interior del puerto de entrada

de la aspiradora hasta que la lengüeta de fijación de

la manguera se acople completamente en los salientes

del puerto de entrada.

2. Para retirar la manguera del puerto de entrada de

la aspiradora: APAGUE la aspiradora. Rote el extremo

de la manguera expansible (F) en cualquiera de los

dos sentidos para liberar la lengüeta de fijación de la

manguera con el fin de separarla del puerto de entrada

de la aspiradora. Presione la lengüeta de fijación

de la manguera y jale el extremo de la manguera

directamente hacia fuera del puerto de entrada de la

aspiradora.
