The HP Jetdirect 2800w NFC & Wireless Direct Accessory enables “touch” printing from mobile devices to newer HP LaserJet printers and MFPs.
The HP Jetdirect 2800w can be installed in many models that provide a Hardware Integration Pocket (HIP).

Identify the USB connector in the HIP and attach the appropriate USB cable
1. Locate the USB connector that is along one of the short edges. A USB Mini B receptacle (callout 1.1) is the most common. However, on some
models, a USB Mini B plug (callout 1.2) is used.
2. Select the appropriate cable from the two that are provided.
3. Plug the USB cable into the socket in the HIP. Note that the USB logo on the connector may face down on some models of printers/MFPs.

Attach the power and grounding ends of the USB cable to the HP Jetdirect 2800w
