Veiligheidsinformatie

In het belang van uw veiligheid en om een correct ge-

bruik te kunnen waarborgen is het van belang dat u, al-

vorens het apparaat te installeren en in gebruik te ne-

men, deze gebruiksaanwijzing, inclusief de tips en waar-

schuwingen, grondig doorleest. Om onnodige vergissin-

gen en ongevallen te voorkomen is het belangrijk er-

voor te zorgen dat alle mensen die het apparaat gebrui-

ken, volledig bekend zijn met de werking ervan en de vei-

ligheidsvoorzieningen. Bewaar deze instructies en zorg

ervoor dat zij bij het apparaat blijven als het wordt ver-

plaatst of verkocht, zodat iedereen die het apparaat ge-

durende zijn hele levensduur gebruikt, naar behoren is

geïnformeerd over het gebruik en de veiligheid van het

apparaat.

Voor de veiligheid van mensen en eigendommen dient

u zich aan de voorzorgsmaatregelen uit dit instructie-

boekje te houden, de fabrikant is niet verantwoordelijk

voor schade die door het niet opvolgen van de aanwij-

zingen veroorzaakt is.

Veiligheid van kinderen en kwetsbare mensen

• Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door perso-

nen (waaronder begrepen kinderen) met verminderde

fysieke, zintuiglijke vermogens of een gebrek aan er-

varing en kennis, tenzij dit onder toezicht gebeurt

van een voor hun veiligheid verantwoordelijke per-

soon of tenzij zij van een dergelijke persoon instruc-

tie hebben ontvangen over het gebruik van het appa-

raat.

Houd kinderen uit de buurt om te voorkomen dat ze

met het apparaat gaan spelen.

• Houd alle verpakkingsmateriaal buiten het bereik van

kinderen. Gevaar voor verstikking.

• Als u het apparaat afdankt trek dan de stekker uit het

stopcontact, snij de voedingskabel door (zo dicht mo-

gelijk bij het apparaat) en verwijder de deur om te

voorkomen dat kinderen een elektrische schok krij-

gen of zichzelf in het apparaat opsluiten.

• Als dit apparaat, dat voorzien is van een magnetische

deursluiting, een ouder apparaat vervangt, dat voor-

zien is van een veerslot (slot) op de deur of het dek-

sel, zorg er dan voor dat u het slot onbruikbaar

maakt voordat u het oude apparaat weggooit. Dit voor-

komt dat kinderen er in opgesloten kunnen raken.

Algemene veiligheid

Let op! Houd de ventilatie-openingen altijd vrij

van obstructies.

• Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor het bewaren van levens-

middelen en/of dranken in een gewoon huishouden,

zoals uitgelegd in dit instructieboekje.

• Gebruik geen mechanische hulpmiddelen of kunst-

grepen om het ontdooiproces te versnellen.

• Gebruik geen andere elektrische apparaten (bijvoor-

beeld ijsmachines) in koelkasten, tenzij ze voor dit

doel goedgekeurd zijn door de fabrikant.

• Let op dat u het koelcircuit niet beschadigt.

• Het koelmiddel isobutaan (R600a) bevindt zich in het

koelcircuit van het apparaat, dit is een natuurlijk gas

dat weliswaar milieuvriendelijk is, maar ook uiterst

ontvlambaar.

Controleer of de onderdelen van het koelcircuit tij-

dens transport en installatie van het apparaat niet be-

schadigd zijn geraakt.

Indien het koelcircuit beschadigd is:

– open vuur en ontstekingsbronnen vermijden

– de ruimte waar het apparaat zich bevindt grondig

ventileren

• Het is gevaarlijk om wijzigingen aan te brengen in de

specificaties of dit product op enigerlei wijze te modi-

ficeren. Een beschadigd netsnoer kan kortsluiting,

brand en/of een elektrische schok veroorzaken.

Waarschuwing! Alle elektrische onderdelen (net-

snoer, stekker, compressor) mogen uitsluitend ver-

vangen worden door een erkende onderhoudsdienst of

gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel.

1. Het netsnoer mag niet verlengd worden.

2. Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker niet platgedrukt

of beschadigd wordt door de achterkant van het

apparaat. Een platgedrukte of beschadigde stek-

ker kan oververhit raken en brand veroorzaken.

3. Verzeker u ervan dat u de stekker van het appa-

raat kunt bereiken.

4. Trek niet aan het snoer.

5. Als de stekker los zit, steek hem dan niet in het

stopcontact. Dan bestaat er een risico op een elek-

trische schok of brand.

6. U mag het apparaat niet gebruiken zonder de af-

dekking van het lampje.

• Dit apparaat is zwaar. Wees voorzichtig als u het ap-

paraat verplaatst.

• Haal geen artikelen uit het vriesvak en raak ze niet

aan als uw handen vochtig/nat zijn, dit kan uw huid

beschadigen of vrieswonden veroorzaken.

• Stel het apparaat niet langdurig bloot aan direct zon-

licht.

Gloeilampjes

gebruikt voor dit apparaat is een spe-

ciaal lampje voor huishoudelijke apparaten. De lamp-

jes zijn niet geschikt voor de verlichting van ruimtes.

Dagelijks gebruik

• Zet geen hete potten op de kunststof onderdelen in

het apparaat.

• Bewaar geen brandbare gassen en vloeistoffen in het

apparaat, deze kunnen ontploffen.

• U dient zich strikt te houden aan de aanbevelingen

van de fabrikant van het apparaat met betrekking tot

het bewaren van voedsel.

• Leg geen koolzuurhoudende of mousserende dran-

ken in de ijsmaker, deze veroorzaken druk op de fles

die daardoor kan ontploffen, dit kan schade toebren-

gen aan het apparaat.

• IJslollies kunnen vrieswonden veroorzaken als ze

rechtstreeks vanuit het apparaat geconsumeerd wor-

den.

Onderhoud en reiniging

• Schakel het apparaat uit en trek de stekker uit het stop-

contact voordat u onderhoudshandelingen verricht.

• Voordat u het apparaat voor de eerste keer gebruikt,

wast u de binnenkant en de interne accessoires met

lauwwarm water en een beetje neutrale zeep om de

typische geur van een nieuw product weg te nemen.

Droog daarna grondig af.

• Maak het apparaat niet met metalen voorwerpen

schoon.

• Gebruik geen scherpe voorwerpen om ijs van het ap-

paraat te krabben. Gebruik een kunststof schraper.

• Gebruik nooit een haardroger of ander verwarmings-

apparaat om het ontdooien te versnellen. Oververhit-

ting kan de kunststof binnenkant beschadigen, en

door binnendringend vocht kan het apparaat onder

stroom komen staan.

Installatie

Belangrijk! Voor de aansluiting van elektriciteit dienen

de instructies in de desbetreffende paragrafen

nauwgezet te worden opgevolgd.

• Pak het apparaat uit en controleer of er beschadigin-

gen zijn. Sluit het apparaat niet aan als het bescha-

digd is. Meld mogelijke beschadigingen onmiddel-

lijk bij de winkel waar u het apparaat gekocht heeft.

Gooi in dat geval de verpakking niet weg.

• Wij adviseren u om 4 uur te wachten voordat u het

apparaat aansluit, dan kan de olie terugvloeien in de

compressor.

• Rond het apparaat dient adequate luchtcirculatie te

zijn, anders kan dit tot oververhitting leiden. Om vol-

doende ventilatie te verkrijgen de instructies met be-

trekking tot de installatie opvolgen.

• De achterkant dient zo mogelijk tegen een muur ge-

plaatst te worden, teneinde te voorkomen dat hete on-

derdelen (compressor, condensator) aangeraakt kun-

nen worden en brandwonden veroorzaken.

• Het apparaat mag niet vlakbij radiatoren of kooktoe-

stellen geplaatst worden.

• Verzeker u ervan dat de stekker bereikbaar is nadat

het apparaat geïnstalleerd is.

• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een drinkwaterlei-

ding.

Onderhoud

• Alle elektrotechnische werkzaamheden die noodzake-

lijk zijn voor het uitvoeren van onderhoud aan het ap-

paraat, dienen uitgevoerd te worden door een gekwa-

lificeerd elektricien of competent persoon.

• Dit product mag alleen worden onderhouden door

een erkend onderhoudscentrum en er dient alleen ge-

bruik te worden gemaakt van originele reserveonder-

delen.

Bescherming van het milieu

Dit apparaat bevat geen gassen die de ozonlaag

kunnen beschadigen, niet in het koelcircuit en even-

min in de isolatiematerialen. Het apparaat mag niet wor-

den weggegooid bij het normale huishoudelijke afval.

Het isolatieschuim bevat ontvlambare gassen: het appa-

raat moet weggegooid worden conform de van toepas-

sing zijnde regels die u bij de lokale overheidsinstanties

kunt verkrijgen. Voorkom beschadiging aan de koeleen-

heid, vooral aan de achterkant bij de warmtewisselaar.

De materialen die gebruikt zijn voor dit apparaat en die

voorzien zijn van het symbool

zijn recyclebaar.

Bediening

Inschakelen

Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

Draai de thermostaatknop naar rechts op een gemiddel-

de stand.

De thermostaatknop bevindt zich aan de zijkant van de

koelkast.

Uitschakelen

Draai de thermostaatknop op de stand "O" om het appa-

raat uit te schakelen.

Temperatuurregeling

De temperatuur wordt automatisch geregeld.

Ga als volgt te werk om het apparaat in werking te stellen:

• draai de thermostaatknop op een lagere stand om de

minimale koude te verkrijgen.

• draai de thermostaatknop op een hogere stand om de

maximale koude te verkrijgen.

In de ijsmaker kan een temperatuur van -2 ºC of

lager worden bereikt als de thermostaatknop in

overeenstemming met de volgende tabel wordt ingesteld:

Dagelijks gebruik

Gebruik van de ijsmaker

Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een ijsmaker.

In de ijsmaker kan een temperatuur van -2 ºC of lager

worden bereikt, afhankelijk van de instelling van de ther-

mostaatknop.

De ijsmaker is uitsluitend geschikt voor het maken en

bewaren van ijsblokjes. (U kunt het benodigde ijsblok-

bakje bij een specialist kopen.)

Belangrijk! Gebruik geen metalen voorwerpen om het

ijsblokbakje uit de vriezer te verwijderen.

Onderhoud en reiniging

Let op! Voordat u welke onderhoudshandeling

dan ook verricht, de stekker uit het stopcontact

trekken.

Het koelcircuit van dit apparaat bevat koolwater-

stoffen; onderhoud en herladen mag alleen uitge-

voerd worden door bevoegde technici.

Veel normaal verkrijgbare keukenreinigers bevatten che-

micaliën die de kunststoffen die in dit apparaat gebruikt

zijn kunnen aantasten/beschadigen. Daarom wordt het

aanbevolen de buitenkant van dit apparaat alleen

schoon te maken met warm water met een beetje afwas-

middel.

Steek, na het schoonmaken van het apparaat, de stekker

weer in het stopcontact.

Ontdooien van de ijsmaker

Een zekere hoeveelheid rijp zal zich altijd vormen

rond de ijsmaker.

Belangrijk! Ontdooi de ijsmaker wanneer de rijplaag

een dikte van ongeveer 3-5 mm bereikt heeft.

Volg onderstaande aanwijzingen om de rijp te verwijde-

ren:

1. Draai de thermostaatknop naar de instelling '0' en

haal de stekker uit het stopcontact.

2. Leeg het ijsvak.

3. Laat de deur van het apparaat en de ijsmaker open

staan.

4. Ontdooien duurt meestal een paar uur. Als u klaar

bent, giet u het verzamelde dooiwater uit de bak en

veegt u de oppervlakken droog.

5. Steek de stekker weer in het stopcontact en draai de

thermostaatknop naar de gemiddelde stand.

Waarschuwing! Gebruik nooit scherpe metalen

hulpmiddelen om de rijp van de verdamper te

krabben, deze zou beschadigd kunnen raken. Gebruik

geen mechanische of andere middelen om het

ontdooiproces te versnellen, behalve die middelen die

door de fabrikant zijn aanbevolen.

Problemen oplossen

Normale bedrijfsgeluiden

• U kunt een zwak gorgelend en borrelend geluid ho-

ren wanneer het koelmiddel door leidingen wordt ge-

pompt. Dat is normaal.

• Als de compressor aan staat, wordt het koelmiddel

rondgepompt en dan zult u een zoemend en klop-

pend geluid van de compressor horen. Dat is normaal.

• De thermische uitzetting kan een plotseling krakend

geluid veroorzaken. Dit is een natuurlijk, niet gevaar-

lijk fysisch verschijnsel. Dat is normaal.

• Als de compressor in- of uitgeschakeld wordt, zult u

een zacht "klikje" van de thermostaat horen. Dat is

normaal.

linker binnenkant in het apparaat en op het energielabel.

Montage

Let op! Lees voor uw eigen veiligheid en correcte

werking van het apparaat eerst de

"veiligheidsinformatie" aandachtig door, alvorens het

apparaat te installeren.

Opstelling

Dit apparaat kan ook in een droge, goed geventileerde

binnenruimte (garage of kelder) geïnstalleerd worden,

maar voor de beste prestatie kunt u het apparaat beter

installeren op een plaats waar de omgevingstempera-

tuur overeenkomt met de klimaatklasse die staat aange-

geven op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.

Breng de afstandhouders

op hun plaats aan met be-

hulp van zacht tikken met

een hamer.

Plaatsing

Het apparaat moet ver van hittebronnen, zoals radia-

teurs, boilers, direct zonlicht enz., vandaan worden ge-

installeerd. Zorg er voor dat de lucht vrij kan circuleren

aan de achterkant van de kast. Als het apparaat onder

een wandkast wordt geplaatst, moet de minimale af-

stand tussen de bovenkant van de kast en de wandkast

ten minste 100 mm bedragen om optimale prestaties te

garanderen.

Voor de beste prestatie kunt u het apparaat echter beter

niet onder een wandkast zetten. De afstelbare voetjes

aan de onderkant van het apparaat zorgen voor een nauw-

keurige waterpasstelling.

Als de kast in een hoek is geplaatst en de zijkant bevat

scharnieren die naar de muur wijzen, moet de afstand

tussen de muur en de kast ten minste 10 mm zijn om

de deur ver genoeg open te krijgen zodat de planken ver-

wijderd kunnen worden.

Waarschuwing! De stroomtoevoer aan het appa-

raat moet verbroken kunnen worden; de stekker

moet daarom na de installatie gemakkelijk toegankelijk

zijn.

Omkeerbaarheid van de deur

Belangrijk! Om de volgende handelingen uit te voeren,

raden we aan dit te doen met de hulp van een tweede

persoon die de deuren van het apparaat tijdens de

werkzaamheden stevig vasthoudt.

Om de draairichting van de deur te veranderen, gaat u

als volgt te werk:

1. Trek de stekker uit het

stopcontact.

2. Verwijder de afdekking

van het bovenste scharnier.

3. Draai de 2 bevestigings-

schroeven los en verwijder

het scharnier van het appa-

raat.

4. Verwijder de deur.

5. Verwijder de schroef

waarmee het onderste

deurscharnier is beves-

tigd, en de andere schroef

waarmee het onderste

deurscharnier en de voet

zijn bevestig. Verwijder

vervolgens het deurschar-

nier en de voet zoals weer-

gegeven in de afbeelding.

6. Maak de schroef los

waarmee de voet tegen-

over het onderste deur-

scharnier is bevestigd, om

de voet te verwijderen.

7. Bevestig het deurschar-

nier en de bijbehorende

voet aan de tegenoverlig-

gende kant en dan de an-

dere losgemaakte voet op

de vorige plek van het deur-

scharnier, zoals weergege-

ven in de afbeelding.

8. Zorg dat u de onderste

voet onder het deurschar-

nier plaatst. De onderste

voet is te herkennen aan

de 4 ribbels op het buiten-

vlak.

9. Bevestig de deur op de

onderste scharnierpen.

10. Voor het bevestigen

van het bovenste deur-

scharnier verwijdert u de

plastic pluggen voorzich-

tig en brengt u ze aan in

de gaten die door de be-

vestigingsschroeven van

het scharnier zijn achterge-

laten.

11. Plaats het bovenschar-

nier terug met behulp van

de 2 bevestigingsschroe-

ven, waarbij u ervoor zorgt

dat de rand van de deur pa-

rallel loopt met de zijkant

van de kast.

12. Breng de afdekking

van het scharnier weer aan.

13. Plaats de hendel en de

plastic pluggen op de te-

genoverliggende zijde.

14. Zet het apparaat water-

pas, wacht minstens vier

uur en steek dan de stek-

ker in het stopcontact.

Voer een eindcontrole uit en verzeker u ervan dat:

• Alle schroeven zijn aangedraaid.

• De deur goed open en dicht gaat.

Als de omgevingstemperatuur laag is (bijv. in de win-

ter), kan het zijn dat de pakking niet precies op de kast

past. Wacht in dat geval tot de pakking zich op een na-

tuurlijke wijze zet.

Als u bovenstaande handelingen liever niet zelf uitvoert,

neem dan contact op met de dichtstbijzijnde klantenser-

vice. Een vakman van de klantenservice zal de draairich-

ting van de deuren op uw kosten veranderen.

Elektrische aansluiting

Zorg er vóór het aansluiten voor dat het voltage en de

frequentie op het typeplaatje overeenkomen met de

stroomtoevoer in uw huis.

Het apparaat moet geaard zijn. De netsnoerstekker is

voorzien van een contact voor dit doel. Als het stopcon-

tact niet geaard is, sluit het apparaat dan aan op een af-

zonderlijk aardepunt, in overeenstemming met de gel-

dende regels, raadpleeg hiervoor een gekwalificeerd elek-

tricien.

De fabrikant neemt geen verantwoordelijkheid op zich

als de bovenstaande veiligheidsmaatregelen niet wor-

den nageleefd.

Dit apparaat voldoet aan de EU. richtlijnen.

Het milieu

Het symbool op het product of op de verpakking

wijst erop dat dit product niet als huishoudafval mag

worden behandeld, maar moet worden afgegeven bij

een verzamelpunt waar elektrische en elektronische

apparatuur wordt gerecycled. Als u ervoor zorgt dat dit

product op de juiste manier wordt verwijderd, voorkomt

u mogelijke negatieve gevolgen voor mens en milieu

die zich zouden kunnen voordoen in geval van

Children and vulnerable people safety

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (in-

cluding children) with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-

edge, unless they have been given supervision or in-

struction concerning use of the appliance by a per-

son responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do

not play with the appliance.

• Keep all packaging well away from children. There is

risk of suffocation.

• If you are discarding the appliance pull the plug out

of the socket, cut the connection cable (as close to

the appliance as you can) and remove the door to pre-

vent playing children to suffer electric shock or to

close themselves into it.

• If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to

replace an older appliance having a spring lock

(latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring

lock unusable before you discard the old appliance.

This will prevent it from becoming a death trap for a

General safety

Caution! Keep ventilation openings clear of

obstruction.

• The appliance is intended for keeping foodstuff and/

or beverages in a normal household as explained in

this instruction booklet.

• Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial

means to speed up the thawing process.

• Do not use other electrical appliances (such as ice

cream makers) inside of refrigerating appliances, un-

less they are approved for this purpose by the manu-

facturer.

• Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.

• The refrigerant isobutane (R600a) is contained within

the refrigerant circuit of the appliance, a natural gas

with a high level of environmental compatibility,

which is nevertheless flammable.

During transportation and installation of the appli-

ance, be certain that none of the components of the

refrigerant circuit become damaged.

If the refrigerant circuit should become damaged:

– avoid open flames and sources of ignition

– thoroughly ventilate the room in which the appli-

ance is situated

• It is dangerous to alter the specifications or modify

this product in any way. Any damage to the cord may

cause a short-circuit, fire and/or electric shock.

Warning! Any electrical component (power cord,

plug, compressor) must be replaced by a certified

service agent or qualified service personnel.

1. Power cord must not be lengthened.

2. Make sure that the power plug is not squashed

or damaged by the back of the appliance. A

squashed or damaged power plug may overheat

and cause a fire.

3. Make sure that you can come to the mains plug

of the appliance.

4. Do not pull the mains cable.

5. If the power plug socket is loose, do not insert

the power plug. There is a risk of electric shock

or fire.

6. You must not operate the appliance without the

lamp cover

of interior lighting.

• This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when

moving it.

• Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer com-

partment if your hands are damp/wet, as this could

cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.

• Avoid prolonged exposure of the appliance to direct

sunlight.

Bulb lamps

used in this appliance are special pur-

pose lamps selected for household appliances use

only. They are not suitable for household room illu-

mination.

Daily Use

• Do not put hot pot on the plastic parts in the appliance.

• Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appli-

ance, because they may explode.

• Appliance's manufacturers storage recommendations

should be strictly adhered to.

• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the ice-

maker compartment as it creates pressure on the con-

tainer, which may cause it to explode, resulting in

damage to the appliance.

• Ice lollies can cause frost burns if consumed straight

from the appliance.

Care and cleaning

• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and dis-

connect the mains plug from the mains socket.

• Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the

interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm wa-

ter and some neutral soap so as to remove the typi-

cal smell of a brand-new product, then dry thoroughly.

• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.

• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the ap-

pliance. Use a plastic scraper.

• Never use a hair drier or other heating appliances to

speed up defrosting. Excessive heat may damage the

plastic interior, and humidity could enter the electric

system making it live.

Installation

Important! For electrical connection carefully follow the

instructions given in specific paragraphs.

• Unpack the appliance and check if there are damages

on it. Do not connect the appliance if it is damaged.

Report possible damages immediately to the place

you bought it. In that case retain packing.

• It is advisable to wait at least four hours before con-

necting the appliance to allow the oil to flow back in

the compressor.

• Adequate air circulation should be around the appli-

ance, lacking this leads to overheating. To achieve

sufficient ventilation follow the instructions relevant

to installation.

• Wherever possible the back of the product should be

against a wall to avoid touching or catching warm

parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible

burn.

• The appliance must not be located close to radiators

or cookers.

• Make sure that the mains plug is accessible after the

installation of the appliance.

Connect to potable water supply only.

Service

• Any electrical work required to do the servicing of

the appliance should be carried out by a qualified elec-

trician or competent person.

• This product must be serviced by an authorized Serv-

ice Centre, and only genuine spare parts must be used.

Environment Protection

erant circuit or insulation materials. The appliance shall

Operation

Switching on

Insert the plug into the wall socket.

Turn the Temperature regulator clockwise to a medium

setting.

The Temperature Regulator is situated on the side of the

cabinet.

Switching off

To turn off the appliance, turn the Temperature regulator

to the "O" position.

Temperature regulation

The temperature is automatically regulated.

To operate the appliance, proceed as follows:

• turn the Temperature regulator toward lower settings

to obtain the minimum coldness.

• turn the Temperature regulator toward higher set-

tings to obtain the maximum coldness.

In the ice-making compartment -2 ºC or lower tem-

perature can be reached if the Temperature regula-

tor is set according to following table:

Daily use

Using of the ice-maker compartment

This appliance is equipped with an ice-maker compart-

ment.

In the ice-maker compartment can be reached -2 °C or

lower temperature depending on setting of thermostat

control.

This compartment is suitable for making and storing ice-

cubes. (You can purchase the needed ice-cube tray

from a specialist shop.)

Important! Do not use metallic instruments to remove

the ice-cube tray from the freezer.

Care and Cleaning

Caution! Unplug the appliance before carrying

out any maintenance operation.

This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cool-

ing unit; maintenance and recharging must there-

fore only be carried out by authorized technicians.

Many proprietary kitchen surface cleaners contain chem-

icals that can attack/damage the plastics used in this ap-

pliance. For this reason it is recommended that the out-

er casing of this appliance is only cleaned with warm wa-

ter with a little washing-up liquid added.

After cleaning, reconnect the equipment to the mains

supply.

Defrosting of the ice-maker compartment

A certain amount of frost will always form around

the ice-maker compartment.

Important! Defrost the ice-maker compartment when

the frost layer reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm.

To remove the frost, do these steps:

1. Turn the Temperature regulator to the "0" setting

and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.

2. Empty the ice box.

3. Leave the door of the appliance and ice-maker com-

partment open.

4. Defrosting usually takes several hours. When finish-

ed, pour defrost water gathered out of the tray and

wipe the surfaces dry.

5. Insert the plug into the wall socket and turn the ther-

mostat control to a medium setting.

Warning! Never use sharp metal tools to scrape

off frost from the evaporator as you could damage

it. Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial

means to speed up the thawing process other than

those recommended by the manufacturer.

What to do if…

Normal Operating Sounds

• You may hear a faint gurgling and a bubbling sound

when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or

tubing. This is correct.

• When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being

pumped around and you will hear a whirring sound

and a pulsating noise from the compressor. This is

correct.

• The thermic dilatation might cause a sudden crack-

ing noise. It is natural, not dangerous physical phe-

nomenon. This is correct.

• When the compressor switches on or switches off,

you will hear a faint "click" of the temperature regula-

tor. This is correct.

Location

The appliance should be installed well away from sour-

ces of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight

etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back

of the cabinet. To ensure best performance, if the appli-

ance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the

minimum distance between the top of the cabinet and

the wall unit must be at least 100 mm .

Ideally, however, the appliance should not be posi-

tioned below overhanging wall units. Accurate levelling

is ensured by one or more adjustable feet at the base of

the cabinet.

If the cabinet is placed in a corner and the side with the

hinges facing the wall, the distance between the wall

and the cabinet must be at least 10 mm to allow the

door to open enough so that the shelves can be removed.

Warning! It must be possible to disconnect the ap-

pliance from the mains power supply; the plug

must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Door reversibility

Important! To carry out the following operations, we

suggest that this be made with another person that will

keep a firm hold on the doors of the appliance during

the operations.

To change the opening direction of the door, do these

steps:

1. Remove the plug from

the power socket.

2. Remove the top hinge

cover.

3. Unscrew the 2 retaining

screws, and remove the

hinge from the appliance.

4. Take the door off.

5. Remove the screw fix-

ing the lower door hinge

and the other screw fixing

the lower door hinge and

the foot. Then remove the

door hinge and the foot as

shown in the Figure.

6. Loosen the screw fixing

the foot opposite the lower

door hinge in order to re-

move the foot.

7. Fix the door hinge and

the corresponding foot on

the opposite side and then

the other loosened foot at

the former place of the

door hinge as shown in

the Figure.

8. Please make sure to

place the lower foot below

the door hinge. The lower

foot is recognizable by its

4 ribs on the outer surface.

9. Fix the door onto the

lower hinge pin.

10. To fit top door hinge,

remove the plastic blank-

ing plugs carefully, and re-

fit them in the holes left by

the hinge retaining screws.

11. Refit the top hinge us-

ing the 2 retaining screws,

taking care that the edge

of the door is parallel with

side of the cabinet.

12. Replace the hinge cov-

er.

13. Relocate the handle

and the plastic plugs to

the opposite side.

14. Level the appliance,

wait for at least four hours

and then connect it to the

power socket.

Do a final check to make sure that:

• All screws are tightened.

• The door opens and closes correctly.

If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the

gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that case,

wait for the natural fitting of the gasket.

In case you do not want to carry out the above men-

tioned operations, contact the nearest After Sales Serv-

ice Force. The After Sales Service specialist will carry

out the reversibility of the doors at your cost.

Electrical connection

Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequen-

cy shown on the rating plate correspond to your domes-

tic power supply.

The appliance must be earthed. The power supply cable

plug is provided with a contact for this purpose. If the

domestic power supply socket is not earthed, connect

the appliance to a separate earth in compliance with cur-

rent regulations, consulting a qualified electrician.

The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the above

safety precautions are not observed.

vent provoquer des brûlures.

Entretien et nettoyage

• Avant toute opération de nettoyage, mettez l'appareil

à l'arrêt et débranchez-le électriquement.

• Avant d'utiliser l'appareil pour la première fois, net-

toyez l'intérieur et tous les accessoires internes avec

de l'eau tiède savonneuse pour supprimer l'odeur ca-

ractéristique du « neuf », puis séchez soigneusement.

• N'utilisez pas d'objets métalliques pour nettoyer l'ap-

pareil.

• N'utilisez pas d'objet tranchant pour gratter la cou-

che de givre. Utilisez une spatule en plastique.

• N’utilisez pas d'appareils électriques ou d'agents chi-

miques pour dégivrer l'appareil. La chaleur excessive

pourrait endommager le revêtement plastique interne

et l’humidité pourrait s’introduire dans le système

électrique.

Installation

Important Avant de procéder au branchement

électrique, respectez scrupuleusement les instructions

fournies dans cette notice.

• Déballez l'appareil et vérifiez qu'il n'est pas endom-

magé. Ne branchez pas l'appareil s'il est endomma-

gé. Signalez immédiatement au revendeur de l'appa-

reil les dommages constatés. Dans ce cas, gardez

l'emballage.

• Il est conseillé d'attendre au moins quatre heures

avant de brancher l'appareil pour que le circuit frigo-

rifique soit stabilisé.

• Veillez à ce que l'air circule librement autour de l'ap-

pareil pour éviter qu'il ne surchauffe. Pour assurer

une ventilation suffisante, respectez les instructions

de la notice (chapitre Installation).

• Placez l'appareil dos au mur pour éviter tout contact

avec le compresseur et le condenseur (risque de brû-

lure).

• Placez de préférence votre appareil loin d'une source

de chaleur (chauffage, cuisson ou rayons solaires

trop intenses).

• Assurez-vous que la prise murale reste accessible

après l'installation de l'appareil.

• Branchez à l'alimentation en eau potable unique-

mis au rebut avec les ordures ménagères et les déchets

urbains. La mousse d'isolation contient des gaz inflam-

mables : l'appareil sera mis au rebut conformément aux

règlements applicables disponibles auprès des autori-

tés locales. Veillez à ne pas détériorer les circuits frigo-

rifiques, notamment au niveau du condenseur. Les ma-

Fonctionnement

Mise en fonctionnement

Branchez l'appareil à une prise murale.

Tournez le thermostat dans le sens des aiguilles d'une

montre sur une position médiane.

Le thermostat se trouve sur le côté de l'armoire.

Mise à l'arrêt

Pour mettre à l'arrêt l'appareil, tournez le bouton du ther-

mostat sur la position "O".

Réglage de la température

La température est réglée automatiquement.

Pour faire fonctionner l'appareil, procédez comme suit :

• Tournez le thermostat sur la position minimum pour

obtenir moins de froid.

• Tournez le thermostat sur la position maximum pour

obtenir plus de froid.

Dans le compartiment glaçons, il est possible d'at-

teindre une température de -2 ºC voire inférieure,

si le thermostat est réglé en fonction du tableau suivant :

Utilisation quotidienne

Utilisation du distributeur de glaçons

Cet appareil est équipé d'un distributeur de glaçons.

La température du distributeur de glaçons peut atteindre

les -2 °C (voir moins) suivant le réglage du thermostat.

Ce compartiment a été conçu pour fabriquer et stocker

des glaçons. (Les bacs à glaçons adéquats sont dispo-

nibles dans un magasin spécialisé.).

Important N'utilisez pas d'instruments métalliques pour

décoller les bacs à glaçons du congélateur.

Entretien et nettoyage

Attention débrancher l'appareil avant toute

opération d'entretien.

Cet appareil contient des hydrocarbures dans son

circuit réfrigérant : l'entretien et la recharge ne doi-

vent donc être effectués que par du personnel autorisé.

De nombreux détergents pour la cuisine recommandés

par les fabricants contiennent des produits chimiques

qui peuvent attaquer/endommager les pièces en plasti-

que utilisées dans cet appareil. Il est par conséquent re-

commandé d'utiliser seulement de l'eau chaude addi-

tionnée d'un peu de savon liquide pour nettoyer la car-

rosserie de l'appareil.

Après le nettoyage, rebranchez l'appareil.

Dégivrage du distributeur de glaçons

Une certaine quantité de givre se forme toujours

autour du distributeur à glaçons.

Important Dégivrez le distributeur lorsque l'épaisseur

de la couche de givre est d'environ 3-5 mm.

Pour enlever le givre, suivez les instructions ci-dessous :

1. Mettez le thermostat sur « 0 » et débranchez l'appa-

reil électriquement.

2. Videz le réservoir à glaçons.

3. Laissez les portes de l'appareil et du distributeur de

glaçons ouvertes.

4. Le processus de décongélation prend en général plu-

sieurs heures. Celui-ci terminé, évacuez l'eau récol-

tée dans le bac et séchez soigneusement toutes les

surfaces.

5. Rebranchez l'appareil et réglez le thermostat sur

une position médiane.

Avertissement N'utilisez en aucun cas un

couteau, un autre objet tranchant ou un objet

métallique pour gratter la couche de givre, vous risquez

de détériorer irrémédiablement l'évaporateur. N'utilisez

aucun dispositif mécanique ou autre pour accélérer le

processus de dégivrage hormis ceux recommandés par

le fabricant.

En cas d'anomalie de fonctionnement

Bruits de fonctionnement normaux

• Le liquide de refroidissement qui passe dans le cir-

cuit d'évaporation peut produire un bruit de gargouil-

lis ou de bouillonnement. Ce phénomène est normal.

• Le compresseur peut produire un ronronnement aigu

ou un bruit de pulsation. Ce phénomène est normal.

• La dilatation thermique peut provoquer un soudain,

léger bruit de craquement. C'est un phénomène nor-

mal et sans gravité. Ce phénomène est normal.

• Un léger claquement se produit lors de la mise en

fonctionnement/à l'arrêt du compresseur. Ce phéno-

mène est normal.

Emplacement

L'appareil doit être installé à bonne distance de toute

source de chaleur telle que des radiateurs, un chauffe-

rantir un rendement optimum si l'appareil est installé

sous un élément suspendu, la distance entre le haut de

l’appareil et l'élément suspendu doit être de 100 mm mi-

nimum.

Si possible, évitez de placer l'appareil sous des élé-

ments suspendus. La mise à niveau se fait à l'aide d'un

ou de plusieurs pieds réglables à la base de l’appareil.

Si l'appareil est placé dans un angle et si le côté avec

les charnières est face au mur, la distance entre le mur

et l'appareil doit être de 10 mm minimum afin de per-

mettre à la porte de s'ouvrir suffisamment pour pouvoir

sortir les clayettes.
