You cracked the vault? Now you have two options:
1. Try to crack another vault
Turn round the cracked vault and place it in front of you. Draw
the next vault from your pile and try to crack its code with the
right number combination on the dice.
Hint:
Always keep an eye on the police car. Think about whether you
should risk cracking another vault! If both crime sites are disco-
vered before you crack the vault, the policeman gets to take and
keep your vault card/s.
2. You finish your turn shouting: “I'm off!”
Thus you finish your round. The police did not catch you. Take
all the vaults you have cracked and these are yours to keep.
The policeman gets to keep the vault cards you did not crack.
Now the role of robber and policeman swap to the next two
players in a clockwise direction and a new round starts.
Important:
Once you have drawn a new card from your pile you have to
crack this vault - only then can you end your turn.
The policeman
Move the police car as quickly as possible to one of the 12 possible
crime sites. As you reach a site, press the siren. At this very moment
the robber has to stop rolling the dice.
The small street map is a reduced representation of the big game
board. Turn round the alarm tile corresponding to the site where
the police car is at this moment.
The backside of the alarm tile shows
1. A green light
Bad luck! False alarm no burglary there. Shout “Next one!” and
drive as quickly as you can to the next possible crime site. The
alarm tile is left turned round and the robber can resume rolling
the dice.
2. A robber
Great! You have found the first crime site. Shout “next one!”
and set off quickly for the second one. The alarm tile stays
turned resume rolling the dice. and the robber can resume
the roll of the dice.
