This product is intended for optimum ergonomics at a wash basin, for both
seated and standing users with disabilities.

For indoor use in a wet environment, such as a bathroom or wash room.
The product is intended to be used at room temperature, in private homes,
nursing homes and hospitals under normal working conditions.
Contraindications for use
People who are not capable of keeping their balance in an upright position
are not recommended to use this wash basin lifter.
Intended use
!CAUTION
The surface of the product may become hot and / or cold if exposed to
external sources of heat or cold (e.g. sunlight or frost).
NOTICE
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the product should be
reported to the manufacturer and the health authorities.

Operating instructions
The wash basin lifter models R4822, R4827, R4828, R4850, R4855, R4852,
R4857, R4870, and R4875 can be adjusted 200 mm (7.87”) up and down.
Max load is 150 kg/330 lbs.
The height adjustment is
controlled by operating
buttons in the front edge
of the wash basin
Press and hold the up button to raise
the wash basin, and press and hold
the down button to lower it. When the
button is released, the motion stops.
Take care to avoid injury to
hands when in the vicinity of
moving mechanical parts.
!CAUTION
Never place objects underneath the wash basin.

The wash basin lifter models
R482219, R482719, R485019,
R485519, R485219 and
R485719 can be adjusted 300
mm (11.81“) up and down, and
also 500 mm in total (19.69“) to
either the left or right.
Max load is 150 kg/330 lbs.
Sideways adjustment
!CAUTION
Make sure the locking mechanism is properly engaged before any use or
height adjustment. This is ensured by pushing the wash basin lifter a little
to the right or left until a click is heard.
Unlock the sliding mechanism by pressing and
holding the side adjustment button to either
the left or right.
Grasp the handles of the sink and push the
wash basin lifter to either the left or right. The lifter slides quite easily, so you
dont have to use much effort.
When the wash basin lifter is in the desired position, release the side
adjustment button and the lifter will lock in place with a click.
Be careful not to injure your
feet when moving the wash
basin lifter sideways

If the safety rail comes in
contact with an object when
the wash basin is being lowered,
the motion stops immediately.
If an object comes is in contact with
the underside of the wash basin
when it is stationary, the safety
function is activated and the wash
basin is lifted.
The wash basin lifter can be used
again as soon as the obstruction has
been removed.
Resetting the wash basin lifter
If the wash basin lifter is jammed, try to reset it.
Make sure that the safety rail is not activated. Lower the wash basin lifter
all the way down to its starting position.
Release the lowering button, and after 3-4 sec. press it in again until you
hear a slight click after approx. 10 sec.
Release the lowering button and then raise the wash basin lifter to its
highest position. You will hear another click.
Lower the wash basin lifter a couple of centimeters.
Raise it again to its highest position. You will hear another click.
The wash basin lifter is now reset. The wash basin lifter should also be
reset if there has been an interruption of the power supply.
Safety rail
The wash basin lifters R4870 and R4875 are equipped with a safety rail.
IMPORTANT
• Do not use an autoclave or other type of steam cleaner.
• Avoid aggressive cleaning agents containing acids.
• Never spray the product directly with a high pressure cleaner.
• For surface disinfection, chlorine-based disinfectants may be used
according to the product specification and safety precautions for these
products.
The product is to be cleaned with hot water or a mild soapy cleaning agent.
To see which cleaning products have been tested and approved by Pressalit
for the specific product, please visit Pressalit.com and refer to the products
item number. Pressalit recommends cleaning the product after installation.
!CAUTION
Always read the material safety data sheet (MSDS) and supplied
instructions of the cleaning, disinfecting or de-scaling agent and comply
with instructions for safe use, dilution, rinsing, drying, handling and
storage of the agent.
