Chapter 1
Introduction
xChime is a plug-in wireless speaker device that directly plugs into standard 120V
AC wall outlet and provides audible alerts anywhere in your home when an event
of interest happens via a compatible smart home device
Features
• Supports WiFi 5 Wireless Standard. The xChime product is an 802.11ac device with a
dual-band dual-selectable 2.4GHz and 5GHz radio
• Support Plug standard outlet. The xChime product support standard plug

Reset Pin Hole
To restore the device to the original factory settings:
• Power On
• Gently press and hold for over 5 sec then release to
restore the device to factory settings.
Pairing Button Push the pairing button on the device easily creates an encryption-
secured wireless connection automatically.

Solid White - The xChime is booting up.
Blinking White - The xChime is ready to pair or pairing.
Solid Blue - The xChime is connected to WiFi, working normally.
Solid Amber - The xChime is not connected to a router or has

Chapter 2
Basic Setup
This Chapter provides information on how to install the xChime.
Installation
You must complete the following installation procedure when using the device
Step
1. Plug in the xChime to the power outlet
2. Download the Xfinity app from Google Play or App Store
3. Sign into the app with your Xfinity Credentials
4. Select “Security” tab
5. Select Add a Device then choose Xfinity xChime to start setting up
6. Follow the instructions in the app to finish setup of the device and you can use the
same device functions in the same app after setup the device
WARNING
1. This is indoor use only.
2. Do not place the chime unit near a heat source, such as near a radiator or baseboard
heater.
