Installing the faucet assembly
CAUTION: Always turn off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.
□ Shut off the water supply. Remove the old
faucet.
□ Ensure the gasket (B) is on the bottom of the
new faucet (A).
□ Place the faucet (A) through the mounting
holes in the sink.

Preparing the pop-up assembly
□ Remove the pop up stopper (D) and drain
ange (E) from the drain body.
□ Secure the faucet (A) to the sink using the easy
install nuts (C) provided, push up the easy install
nuts (C) to sink and hand-turn to tighten, as
shown in the Fig 1.
NOTE: If the sink is uneven, use silicone under the
gasket (B).
□ Clean the mounting surface.
□ Screw the lock nut (G) all the way down, and
push the rubber washer (F) down.

Installing the drain body
□ Apply silicone sealant (not included) under the
drain ange (E) and place the drain ange (E)
into the drain hole of the sink.
□ From underneath the sink, screw the drain
body (H) onto the drain ange (E). Ensure that
the opening (1) for the ball rod on the drain
body (H) faces towards the rear of the sink.

Installing the stopper and ball
rod
□ Insert the stopper (D) into the drain hole in the sink.
□ For easier removal and cleaning, rotate the
stopper (D) 90 degrees so that the ball rod (J)
does not go through the hole in the stopper (D).
See insert 2.
□ Tighten the rubber washer (F) and lock nut (G)
on the drain body (H). Do not overtighten
□ Make sure the horizontal rod (J) insert into the
drain body (H) completely, as shown (3).
□ Insert the ball rod (J) into the drain body (H) and
through the hole of the stopper (D). See insert 1.
□ Open the easy install rotating clip (I).
□ Close the easy install rotating clip (I).

Adjusting the length of
horizontal rod
□ If the horizontal rod (J) is too long, as shown
in Fig 1, the length can be adjusted.
□ After the plastic portion is positioned properly,
reinstall the clip (N) as shown in Fig 3
□ Remove the clip (N) from the horizontal rod (J).
Slide the plastic portion of the rod to adjust to
the desired length. The excess length (1) can
be removed by snapping off with pliers at the
perforated segment, or cut off with a saw.
NOTE: If the horizontal rod of the drain assembly is too
long, do not cut, it can be adjusted.

Installing the lift rod
□ Push the pivot rod (J) to the down position until
the stopper (D) is completely open. Press the
button (K) on the slip joint assembly (L) and
adjust the vertical rod (M) up or down and front
or back along the pivot rod (J) until the vertical
rod (M) is in the correct position to engage with
the lift rod (O). Press lift rod (O) into the top of the
vertical rod (M) until it engages.
□ Operate the lift rod (O) up and down to verify that
the stopper opens and closes correctly.
□ Slide the lift rod (O) through the faucet (A) until
the knob rests on the faucet (A).

Making the water supply
connections
□ Use 1/2 in. I.P.S. faucet connections (2), or use
supply line coupling nuts (3) (not included) with
a 3/8 in. O.D. ball-nose riser (1).
□ Use wrenches to tighten the connections. Do not
overtighten.

Flushing and checking for leaks
□ Ensuring the handles are in the off position, turn
on the water supply and check for leaks. If you
discover any leaks, check your connections to
ensure they are installed properly.
□ Remove the aerator and housing (if applicable).
Turn on the hot and cold handles to allow the
water to run for at least one minute. This
ushes away any debris that could cause
damage to internal parts.
□ Turn off the water and reinstall the aerator and
housing (if applicable).
Operation
IMPORTANT: After installation is complete, remove the
aerator with the plastic wrench (P) to ush the water lines.

Care and Cleaning
□ To clean, wipe down with a damp cloth and towel dry

be voided.

a detailed drawing showing the location of the parts listed

Cómo instalar el ensamblaje
del grifo
□ Cierra el suministro de agua. Retira el grifo
anterior.
□ Asegúrate de que la junta (B) esté en la parte
inferior de la mezcladora nueva (A).
□ Coloca la mezcladora (A) en los oricios de
montaje del lavabo.

Cómo preparar el ensamblaje
emergente
□ Retira el tapón emergente (D) y la brida (E) del
cuerpo del drenaje.
□ Asegura el grifo (A) al lavamanos con las tuercas
incluidas fáciles de instalar (C). Alza estas
tuercas (C) hacia el lavamanos y gira para
ajustar, como se muestra en la Fig. 1.
NOTA: Si el lavamanos es irregular, usa silicona debajo
de la junta (B).
□ Limpia la supercie de montaje.
□ Enrosca la tuerca de bloqueo (G) hasta el límite.
Presiona la arandela de goma (F) hacia abajo.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cierra siempre el suministro de agua
antes de quitar un grifo existente o reemplazar cualquier
pieza de un grifo. Abre la llave del grifo para liberar la
presión de agua y asegúrate de que el suministro de agua
esté completamente cerrado.

Cómo instalar el cuerpo del
drenaje
□ Aplica sellador de silicona (no incluido) debajo
de la brida del drenaje (E) y coloca ésta dentro
del oricio de drenaje del lavabo.
□ Desde la parte inferior del lavabo, enrosca el
cuerpo del drenaje (H) en la brida del drenaje (E).
Asegúrate de que la abertura (1) para la varilla
de bola del cuerpo del drenaje (H) esté frente
a la parte posterior del lavabo.

Cómo instalar el tapón y la
varilla de bola
□ Inserta el tapón (D) en el oricio del drenaje del
lavabo.
□ Para quitarlo y limpiarlo más fácilmente, gira el
tapón (D) 90 grados de forma tal que la varilla
de bola (J) no penetre en el oricio del tapón (D).
Consulta el folleto 2.
□ Aprieta la arandela de goma (F) y la tuerca de
bloqueo (G) en el cuerpo del drenaje (H). No
aprietes demasiado.
□ Inserta la varilla de bola (J) en el cuerpo del
drenaje (H) y a través del oricio del tapón (D).

□ Abre el sujetador giratorio fácil de instalar (I).

Cómo ajustar el largo de la
varilla horizontal
□ Si la varilla horizontal (J) es demasiado larga,
como se muestra en la Fig. 1, es posible ajustar
el largo.
□ Después de ubicar adecuadamente la parte
plástica, vuelve a instalar el sujetador (N), como
se muestra en la Fig. 3.
□ Quita el sujetador (N) de la varilla horizontal (J).
Desliza la parte plástica de la varilla para ajustar
al largo deseado. Es posible acortar el largo (1),
cortando con alicates o con una sierra en el
segmento perforado.
NOTA: Si la varilla horizontal del ensamblaje del desagüe
es demasiado larga, no la cortes, ya que puede ajustarse.

Cómo instalar la varilla de
elevación
□ Empuja la varilla pivotante (J) hacia abajo hasta que
el tapón (D) esté completamente abierto. Presiona el
botón (K) en el ensamblaje del alicate ajustable (L) y
ajusta la varilla vertical (M) arriba o abajo y hacia
adelante o atrás a lo largo de la varilla pivotante (J)
hasta que la varilla vertical (M) esté en la posición
correcta para engancharla con la varilla de
elevación (O). Presiona la varilla de elevación (O) en
la parte superior de la varilla vertical (M) hasta que se
enganche.
□ Mueve la varilla de elevación (O) hacia arriba y abajo
para vericar que el tapón se abre y cierra
correctamente.
□ Desliza la varilla de elevación (O) a través del
grifo (A) hasta que la perilla esté apoyada sobre
este.

Cómo hacer las conexiones
del suministro de agua
□ Usa conexiones de grifos de 1/2" IPS (2) o
tuercas de acoplamiento de líneas de suministro
(3) (no incluidas) con un tubo montante de bola
de diámetro exterior de 3/8" (1).
□ Usa llaves para apretar las conexiones. No aprietes
demasiado.

Cómo purgar las tuberías y
comprobar que no haya fugas
□ Con los manerales en la posición de cerrado,
abre el suministro del agua y comprueba que
no haya ltraciones. Si descubres alguna
ltración, verica tus conexiones para asegurarte
de que estén instaladas adecuadamente.
□ Retira el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).
Abre los manerales del suministro de agua fría
y caliente y deja que corran durante al menos
un minuto cada una. Esto elimina cualquier
desecho que pudiera dañar las piezas internas.
□ Cierra el suministro de agua y vuelve a colocar
el aireador y la carcasa (si corresponde).

Cuidado y limpieza
□ Para limpiar, usa un paño húmedo y seca con una toalla.

goma esté bien instalada.
El suministro de agua no
se corta completamente.
El cartucho está sucio o dañado. □ Retira la llave para revisar el
cartucho.
□ Limpia o reemplaza.
El aireador está sucio o mal instalado.
□ No uses limpiadores abrasivos, esponjas de alambre o productos químicos fuertes para limpiar esta
mezcladora, pues ello anulará la garantía.
NOTA: Consulta la sección de piezas de repuesto de este
manual para ver un dibujo detallado que muestra la
ubicación de las piezas enumeradas a continuación.

Supercie rugosa o irregular en el lavabo. □ Aplica más sellador de silicona
al lado biselado de la brida del
drenaje.
