1. Wrap free-end of 1/4" or 3/8" band and clip around
boot. Thread the band through the clip into the nose
of the tool and through the winding mandrel slot.

ou 3/8 po avec une pince et serrez-le autour du
cache-poussière. Enfilez le feuillard dans la pince,
puis dans la partie avant de l'outil et ensuite dans la
rainure de l'appareil de cerclage.
2. Once installed into the tool, tighten the band by
turning the handle on the tool. Use a socket or
wrench to tighten the band to OE specifications.
2. Une fois le feuillard installé dans l'outil, serrez-le
en tournant la poignée située sur l'outil. Utilisez
une clé ou une douille sur la poignée afin de serrer
le feuillard de façon à obtenir un couple de serrage
conforme aux spécifications de l'équipement
d'origine.
3. When the boot clamp has been tightened to specs,
cut the band to the correct length by flipping the
lever (at the end of the tool) forward.
3. Une fois la pince de cache-poussière serrée
selon les spécifications, coupez le feuillard afin
d'obtenir la longueur qui convient à l'application
en poussant le levier (situé à l'avant de l'outil).
4. To complete clamping, fold down the remaining
tail of the band into the clip and secure it by
tapping down the ears of the clip.
4. Pour fixer sécuritairement, repliez la partie en
saillie du feuillard dans la pince et immobilisez-le
en frappant légèrement les pattes de la pince.
