Before installing the wireless network adapter, make sure to install the latest

firmware of your printer:

1 Go to the Lexmark support Web site at http://support.lexmark.com.

2 Enter the model number of your printer, and then click Go.

3 Click the recommended firmware update link, and then follow the

instructions on the computer screen.

Setting up the wireless network adapter

You can set up the wireless network adapter through any of the following

methods:

Using the printer control panel

1 From the printer control panel, navigate to either of the following:

-- > Settings > > Network/Ports > > Network [x] > >

Network [x] Setup > > Wireless > > Wireless Connection Setup

-- > Network/Ports > Network [x] > Network [x] Setup > Wireless >

2 Select a wireless connection setup.

3 Follow the instructions on the printer display.

If you are prompted for wireless setup during the initial printer setup, then

follow the instructions on the printer display to complete the setup.

Note: If instructions do not appear or if you are setting up the

printer on an 802.1X network, then continue with “Using the

Embedded Web Server.”

Using the Embedded Web Server

1 Temporarily connect the printer to an Ethernet network using an

Ethernet cable.

Note: If you are unable to connect the printer to an Ethernet

network, then continue with “Using the Wireless Utility.”

2 From your computer, open a Web browser, and then type the printer

IP address.

3Click Settings > Network/Ports > Wireless.

4 Adjust the settings to match the settings of your wireless router.

Note: Settings are case sensitive and must be entered exactly.

5Click Submit.

6 Turn off the printer, disconnect the Ethernet cable, wait 10 seconds,

and then turn the printer back on.

Using the Wireless Utility (for select printer models only)

Download and launch the Wireless Setup Assistant from

http://support.lexmark.com, and then follow the instructions on your

computer screen to complete the setup.

Utilisation d'Embedded Web Server

1 Connectez temporairement l'imprimante à un réseau Ethernet à l'aide

d'un câble Ethernet.

Remarque : Si vous ne pouvez pas connecter l'imprimante à un

réseau Ethernet, passez à la section « Utilisation de l'Utilitaire

sans fil ».

2 Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez un navigateur Web, puis tapez

l'adresse IP de l'imprimante.

3 Cliquez sur Paramètres > Réseau/Ports > Sans fil.

4 Modifiez les paramètres afin qu'ils correspondent à ceux de votre

routeur sans fil.

Remarque : Les paramètres sont sensibles à la casse et doivent

être entrer avec précision.

5 Cliquez sur Envoyer.

6 Eteignez l'imprimante, débranchez le câble Ethernet, attendez

environ 10 secondes, puis rallumez l'imprimante.

Utilisation de l'Utilitaire sans fil (pour certains modèles

d'imprimante seulement)

Téléchargez et lancez l'Assistant de configuration sans fil à partir de

http://support.lexmark.com et suivez les instructions affichées sur
