9. Water Level Window &

Auto Shut Off Feature

The tank includes a water level window so

you can easily see when it is time to reﬁll with

water. The unit will automatically shut off

and a low water icon will blink on the display

panel if the water level is too low. If this

happens, unplug the unit, remove the tank

and reﬁll.

2. Auto Humidistat

Press the Auto button to activate the automatic humidity function, then the ideal humidity of

50% is maintained. When the humidity level in the room is less than the auto humidity level

(50%), the humidiﬁer will continue to produce moisture automatically. Once the room level is

met, the humidiﬁer will turn itself off.

3. Timer

Press the Timer button to determine the operating time, it can be regulated between 1 and 12

hours or for continuous operation.

4. Adjustable Humidistat

Set the desired humidity in % by pressing the Adjustable Humidistat button. We recommend a

relative humidity of between 40% and 50%. The appliance can be regulated from 40% to 75%

 in5%increments.Ifthehumidityexceedsthedesiredsetting,theappliancewillturnitselfoff.

The appliance will not turn itself off if it has been set for Continuous Operation (“Co”). The

desired value is shown while you are making the selection. After a few seconds, the display

automatically switches to the current value. Note: If the room humidity is below 15% then the

 displaywillash.

CLEANING

• Always unplug the unit before servicing in any way.

• The water temperature of the water remaining in the unit after use may be high, allow

time for it to cool.

GENERAL CLEANING

• Inside the base of the unit. Pourexcesswateroutoftheunit.Washouttheunitwithfresh

water using the cleaning brush and a soft cloth as needed. Do not submerse the base of the

unit into water, or allow water to enter inside the dry air exhaust port of the unit.

• Water tank. Emptywatertank.Removemistnozzleandcleanthemisttubewithfreshwater

and a light brush (bottle cleaning brush is recommended).

• Outer surface of the unit. Wipe the surface of the unit with a soft, damp cloth if needed. If

you notice an accumulation of water during usage, reduce humidity and dry outer surface with

a cloth.

DESCALING

• Depending on usage and water type, cleaning to remove scale may be required

weekly or every other week to optimize unit performance.

• Ifyouliveinahardwaterarea,werecommendtheuseofdistilledwaterforyour 

humidiﬁer. This will help reduce the precipitation of minerals or ‘white dust’.

• Donotcleantheunitorwatertankwithdetergentsorcleaningchemicalsofanykind.

ULTRASONIC DISK

1. Unplug unit.

2. Remove the tank and empty all water from unit base and tank.

3. Locate the ultrasonic disk on the inside center of the base unit. (see pg. E-4)

4. Use ONLY the enclosed cleaning brush to gently clean disk and remove build up and deposits

Do not scrub or scrape the ultrasonic disk.

PROBLEM SOLUTION

Humidiﬁer display not reaching

“auto” or desired humidity level. There are a few things that can affect the reading.

Theclimate(example-ifinaverycoldclimate,thefurnace will

run frequently, letting dry air into the room).

The room may be too large and may be open to other spaces.

Try warm humidiﬁcation, sometimes this increases the

humidity faster.

Also, unplugging it for a period of 5-8 minutes. Sometimes it is

possible to overload the unit when ﬁrst getting the product and

trying out all the buttons.

Warm humidity is not produced. It may take 10-15 minutes before warm humidity is created. The

mist may not feel warm due to the fact it is so ﬁne and is cooled

rather quickly from the air in your home. Test by either feeling the

base of the unit which should be warm to the touch or by allowing

theunittorunforapproximately30minutesonwarmsettingin

a closed 200 sq. foot room or smaller. The room should feel

moderately warmer if the unit is working properly.

The humidity has a bad smell. Poor maintenance or dirty water: Clean the product thoroughly, and

ﬁll it with fresh water. (see pg. E-10)

White dust is forming on

nearby furniture. Hardwatermaydepositacertainamountofdust.Dustintheair

also settles because of added humidity in the room. Use distilled

water if this becomes a nuisance.

NETTOYAGE

• Débranchez toujours l’appareil avant d’effectuer tout entretien.

• La température de l’eau restée dans le réservoir pouvant être élevée,

laissez-la refroidir.

• Intérieur de la base de l’appareil. Retirezl’excédentd’eaudel’appareil.Nettoyezl’appareil à

 l’eaudouce,àl’aidedelabrossedenettoyageetd’unchiffondoux,aubesoin. N’immergez pas

la base de l’appareil et ne laissez pas d’eau pénétrer dans le port de la buse

d’évacuation d’air sec de l’appareil.

 vaporisationàl’eaudouceetavecunebrossenonabrasive(ungoupillonàbouteilleest

recommandé).

• Extérieur de l’appareil. Essuyezlasurfacedel’appareilàl’aided’unchiffondouxethumide,

 aubesoin.Sivousremarquezuneaccumulationd’eaupendantlefonctionnementdel’appareil,

 réduisezl’humiditéetessuyezlasurfaceextérieureàl’aided’unchiffon.

DÉTARTRAGE

• Selon l’utilisation et la dureté de l’eau, il peut être nécessaire de détartrer l’appareil

une fois par semaine, ou une semaine sur deux, pour assurer la performance

optimale de l’appareil.

• Sivousvoustrouvezdansunezoneoùl’eauestdure,nousvousrecommandons

d’utiliser de l’eau distillée dans votre humidiﬁcateur. Cela aide à réduire le dépôt de

minéraux ou de « poussière blanche ».

Nota: Cuando enciende el higrostato, los

límites de lectura abarcan entre 15% y 90%.

 Silahumedaddelahabitaciónseencuentra

por debajo de 15%, la lectura en la pantalla

destellará.

9. Función de la mirilla de nivel de agua

y desconexión automática

 Eldepósitoincluyeunamirilladeniveldeagua

para que pueda ver fácilmente cuándo es el

 momentoderellenareldepósitodeagua.

La unidad se apagará automáticamente y

un icono de nivel bajo de agua parpadeará en

la pantalla si el nivel de agua está muy bajo.

Si así ocurriera, desconecte la unidad, retire

 eldepósitodeaguayvuelvaallenarlo.

2. Higrostato automático

 OprimaelbotónAutomáticoparaactivarlafuncióndehumidicaciónautomática;deesa

 manerasemantienelahumedadidealde50%.Cuandoelniveldehumedadenlahabitación

 esmenorqueelniveldehumidicaciónautomática(50%),elhumidicadorseguiráproduciendo

 humedaddemaneraautomática.Unavezquealcanzaelniveldehumedadideal,el

humidiﬁcador se apagará por sí solo.

3. Temporizador

 OprimaelbotónTemporizadorparadeterminareltiempodefuncionamiento,puederegularse

entre 1 a 12 horas, o para el funcionamiento continuo.

4. Higrostato ajustable

 Ajustelahumedaddeseadaen%oprimiendoelbotóndelhigrostatoajustable.Recomendamos

que la humedad relativa esté entre 40% y 50%. Puede regularse el aparato desde 40% hasta

75%, en incrementos de 5%. Si la humedad supera el ajuste deseado, el aparato se apagará

por sí mismo. El aparato no se apagará por sí mismo si ha sido ajustado para el funcionamiento

 continuo(“Co”).Semuestraelvalordeseadomientrasrealizalaselección.Despuésdevarios

segundos, la pantalla cambia automáticamente al valor actual. Nota: Si la humedad de la

 habitaciónseencuentrapordebajode15%,lalecturaenlapantalladestellará.

LIMPIEZA

• Desconecte siempre la unidad antes de darle mantenimiento.

• El agua que queda dentro de la unidad después de usarla puede estar muy caliente,

deje que se enfríe.

LIMPIEZA GENERAL

• Interior de la base de la unidad Saque el exceso de agua de la unidad. Desernecesario,

 lavelaunidadconaguafrescaconelcepilloparalimpiezayunpañosuave.No sumerja la

base de la unidad en agua, ni permita que entre agua dentro del puerto de descarga

de aire seco de la unidad.

• Depósito de agua. Vacíeeldepósitodeagua.Quitelaboquilladeneblinaylimpieeltubode

neblina con agua fresca y un cepillo suave (se recomienda usar un cepillo para limpiar botellas).

• Superﬁcie externa de la unidad. Desernecesario,limpielasupercieexternadelaunidad

 conunpañosuave,húmedo.Siobservaacumulacióndeaguaduranteeluso,disminuyala

 humedadysequelasupercieexternaconunpaño.

DESINCRUSTACIÓN

• Dependiendo del tipo y uso del agua, la limpieza requerida para eliminar el sarro

deberá hacerse semanalmente, o cada dos semanas para optimizar el rendimiento de

la unidad.

• Siviveenunáreadeaguadura,lerecomendamosqueutiliceaguadestiladaensu

humidiﬁcador. Esto ayudará a disminuir la precipitación de minerales del agua o “el

polvo blanco”.

• Nolimpielaunidadnieldepósitodeaguacondetergentesniproductosquímicos

de ningún tipo.
