This carrycot is intended for use by one child from

newborn to a maximum weight of 9kg/20lbs.

The parent facing seat should be used for one

child to a maximum of 15kg/33lbs.

your product is damaged in any way, or you’re not

sure how to use it, please consult our web support

Caring for MB carrycot plus™

Unlike children, your MB carrycot plus™ likes to

stay clean.

• In case of little accidents, sponge wash with a

wet cloth.

• Do not submerse the MB carrycot plus™, its

fabric wall and steel frame in water.

• The MB carrycot mattress may be hand washed

in warm water with mild natural soap.

• Do not tumble dry.

• Line dry.

• Do not use any solvents or bleach based

products as these may harm the materials.

• Do not wring.

• Dry your carrycot plus™ thoroughly before

storage. Store in a well ventilated space, away

from direct sunlight which could damage or fade

your carrycot’s colourful coat.

WARNINGS

European Safety Standard states:

• This product is only suitable for a child

who cannot sit up unaided.

• Use only on ﬁrm ground which is

horizontal, level and dry.

• Do not use if any part is broken, torn or

missing.

• Do not let other children play unattended

near the carrycot.

This product complies with requirements applicable in

market of sale, refer www.mountainbuggy.com/certiﬁcation

• Use only replacement parts supplied or

approved by the manufacturer.

• Be aware of the risk of open ﬁre and other

source of strong heat, such as electric bar

heaters, gas ﬁres, etc. in the near vicinity of

carrycot.

• The handles and the bottom of the carrycot

should be inspected regularly for signs of

damage and wear.

• Do not leave your child unattended.

• Never use the carrycot on a stand.

• Only use the mattress supplied by the

manufacturer.

• If present, carry handles must be left out of

the carrycot when used on a stroller.

• Check that the carrycot attachment

devices are correctly engaged before use

on a stroller.

• The carrycot should be used for one child

to a maximum weight of 9kg/20lbs.

Canadian Safety Standard states:

• For assembly instructions, refer to pouch at

base of product.

• Caregivers must ensure that the bassinet is

safe by checking regularly, before placing

the child in it, that every part is properly

and securely in place.

• Do not use this bassinet if you cannot

exactly follow the accompanying

instructions that are located in a pouch at

the base of the bassinet.

parent facing seat. Always use the crotch

strap in combination with the waist belt.

• Check that the carrycot and parent facing

seat unit attachment devices are correctly

• Do not place in or near this bassinet

any cord, strap or similar item that could

it and do not use it if any parts are loose

or missing or if there are any signs of

damage. Do not substitute parts. Contact

the manufacturer if replacement parts or

additional instructions are needed.

• Use a bassinet mattress that is no thicker

than 3.8 cm and is of such a size that, when

it is pushed ﬁrmly against any side of the

bassinet, it does not leave a gap of more

than 3 cm between the mattress and any

part of the sides of the bassinet.

Children can suﬀocate on soft bedding.

Do not place pillows, comforters

or soft mattresses in this bassinet.

• When not in use, disconnect parent facing

seat shoulder straps from the waist buckle,

as harness can form loops that can lead

to strangulation.

Australia / New Zealand Safety Standard states:

Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

• DO NOT leave children unattended.

• The carrycot should be used for one child

to a maximum weight of 9kg /20lbs.

• The parent facing seat should be used for

one child to a maximum of 15kg /33lbs.

• Do not use this bassinet once the child

can sit up unaided.

• This carrycot is compatible with the

Mountain Buggy Urban Jungle, Terrain

and +one strollers.

• Whilst in parent facing seat, secure child

ﬁrmly in harness at all times.

WARNINGS

American Safety Standard states:

• NEVER leave child unattended.

• The parent facing seat should be used for

one child to a maximum of 15kg/33lbs.

• Always use the safety harness in the parent

facing seat to avoid serious injury from

falling or sliding out.

• Failure to follow these warnings and the

instructions could result in serious injury

or death.

• FALL HAZARD – To help prevent falls, do

not use the carrycot / bassinet when the

infant begins to push up on hands and

knees or has reached manufacturer’s

recommended maximum weight, whichever

comes ﬁrst.

• SUFFOCATION HAZARD – Infants can

suﬀocate:

• In gaps between an extra pad and side of

the bassinet.

• NEVER add a mattress, pillow, comforter, or

padding.

• Use ONLY the pad provided by the

manufacturer.

• To reduce the risk of SIDS, paediadtricians

recommend healthy infants be placed

on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise

advised by your physician. If a sheet

is used with the pad, use only the one

provided by the bassinet or cradle

manufacturer or one speciﬁcally designed

to ﬁt the dimension of the bassinet or

cradle mattress.

• Strings can cause strangulation! Do not

places items with a string around a child's

neck, such as hood strings or paciﬁer

cords. Do not suspend strings over a

bassinet or cradle or attach strings to toys.

• Always use the safety harness in the parent

facing seat to avoid serious injury from

falling or sliding out.

• The carrycot/bassinet should be used

for one child to a maximum weight of

9kg/20lbs.

fabricant.

• Ne pas mettre dans le moïse ou à proximité

de celui-ci des cordes, courroies ou objets

semblables qui risqueraient de s’enrouler

• Ne pas placer le moïse près d’une fenêtre

ou d’une porte-fenêtre où l’enfant pourrait

se saisir des cordes d’un store ou d’un

préalablement à son utilisation et ne pas

l’utiliser en cas de détection d’une pièce

desserrée, de pièce manquante ou de tout

signe de dommages. Ne pas substituer

une pièce à une autre. Communiquer avec

le fabricant pour obtenir, au besoin, une

pièce de rechange ou des instructions

supplémentaires.

• Utiliser un matelas pour moïse don’t

l’épaisseur est d’au plus 3,8 cm et don’t

la superﬁcie permet d’empêcher, lorsqu’il

est poussé fermement contre un côté

quelconque du moïse, qu’un espace de
