1 Allgemeines
•Es dürfen nur KERN KUP-Adapter an den 15-pol-Sub-D-An-
schluss der Waage angeschlossen werden!
•Mit dem KUP-Adapter können Daten von einem Gerät an einen PC
und umgekehrt übertragen werden.
1.1 Installation
1. Gerät ausschalten.
2. Schnittstellenadapter in den KUP-Anschluss des Gerätes einstecken.
3. Gerät einschalten. Der Schnittstellenadapter wird automatisch vom Gerät er-
kannt.
Kommunikationsparameter:
Kommunikationsparameter (Baudrate, Bits und Parität) von Waage und Drucker / PC
müssen übereinstimmen.

USB-Treiber:
Der für die Waage notwendige USB-Treiber ist bei Geräten, deren Betriebssystem auf
dem neuesten Stand ist, bereits vorinstalliert.
Wird das System nicht automatisch erkannt, so erhalten Sie den korrekten Treiber im
Bereich Downloads auf www.kern-sohn.com.
Es wird als virtueller COM-Port erkannt und erhält einen entsprechend nummerierten
Anschluss.
Beispiel (Microsoft Windows Geräte-Manager):

•Only KERN KUP-adapters may be connected to the 15-pol-sub-
D-connection of the balance!
•Use the KUP adapter to transfer data from the device to a PC and
vice-versa.

1. Switch off the appliance
2. Plug in the interface adapter at the KUP connection
3. Switch on the appliance. The interface adapter is automatically recognized by the
appliance.
Communication parameters:
Communication parameters (baud rate, bits and parity) of balance and printer / PC
must match.

USB driver:
The USB driver required for the scale is already pre-installed on devices with an up-
to-date operating system.
If the system is not recognized automatically, you can obtain the correct driver from
the Downloads area at www.kern-sohn.com.
It will be recognized as a virtual COM port and will be assigned a corresponding
numbered connection.

•Seuls les adaptateurs KERN KUP peuvent être raccordés au
connecteur Sub-D à 15 broches de la balance!
•L'adaptateur KUP permet de transférer des données d'un appareil
vers un PC et inversement.
1.1 Installation
1. Eteindre l’appareil.
2. Insérer l'adaptateur d'interface dans le connecteur KUP de l'appareil.
3. Allumer l'appareil. L'adaptateur d'interface est automatiquement reconnu par
l'appareil.
Paramètres de communication:
Les paramètres de communication (vitesse de transmission en bauds, bits et parité)
doivent coïncider entre la balance et l’imprimante PC.

Pilote USB :
Le pilote USB nécessaire à la balance est déjà préinstallé sur les appareils dont le
système d'exploitation est à jour.
Si le système n'est pas reconnu automatiquement, vous allez recevoir l'entraînement
correct dans la zone Downloads sur www.kern-sohn.com.
Il est reconnu comme COM Port virtuel et contient une prise dûment numérotée.
