Using Your Smart Dryer

From the home screen, touch the “What
to Dry” area of the screen to select the
program that best matches the items you
want to dry. Touch the “How to Dry” area of
the screen to select between an automatic
cycle and a timed (Timed Dry, Quick Dry)
cycle to best match the method that you
would like for drying those items.
Options include:
Static Reduce,
EcoBoost™, and
Damp Dry Signal.
NOTE: Display will enter sleep mode after
2 minutes.

LOAD THE DRYER
Download the Whirlpool
®
app and follow
the instructions to connect your dryer to
your home Wi-Fi network. You can also visit
www.whirlpool.com/connect. In Canada,
visit www.whirlpool.ca/connect.
After having connected to WiFi, touch the
REMOTE ENABLE button anytime you
want to use the app. Touching this button
locks out the LCD screen and you will be
prompted with a message about the dryer
waiting for input from the app. If you want
to exit this mode, simply touch the REMOTE
ENABLE button again.
NOTE: Once the door is opened, the remote
enable mode will end. To re-enter this mode,
touch REMOTE ENABLE.

Touch the “Wrinkle Shield” area of the
screen and select “ON” to periodically
tumble the load after the end of the cycle
for up to 150 minutes.
NOTE: Display will enter sleep mode
5 minutes after the end of the cycle.
For optimal drying and cycle time, load the
drum no more than half full.

Fire Hazard
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any
type of oil on it (including cooking oils).
Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic
must be dried on a clothesline or by using
an Air Cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions can
result in death or fire.

pour sélectionner entre le programme
automatique et minuté (Timed Dry [séchage
minuté], Quick Dry [séchage rapide])
correspond le mieux à la méthode de
séchage souhaitée pour ces vêtements.
Les options inclut :

sélectionner “ON” (marche) pour faire

l’application. Pour quitter ce mode, appuyer
simplement de nouveau sur le bouton

REMARQUE : La commande d’activation
à distance se ferme dès que la porte est
ouverte. Pour accéder de nouveau à ce
mode, appuyer sur REMOTE ENABLE
(activation à distance).
