Using the headphones
Check the markings on the hanger, and place the headphones over your head so that the hanger marked
“R” is over the right ear, the one marked “L” over the left ear.

Überprüfen Sie die Markierungen auf der Aufhängung und setzen Sie die Kopfhörer so auf, dass sich

Safety precautions
•• To prevent hearing damage, avoid using your headphones at such a
high volume that it irritates your ears.
•• Before turning on the power of a connected device, turn the volume
all the way down. A sudden burst of loud sound could be harmful to
your ears and cause hearing loss.
•• Do not use headphones while driving a bicycle, motorcycle or
automobile. Doing so could lead to an accident.
•• In the interest of safety, keep the volume of your headphones at a
level at which surrounding sounds can still be heard.
•• Do not put in water or get wet.
•• Do not place heavy objects on, heat, or pull on the headphones.
Doing so may damage or deform them.
•• Store the ear pieces out of the reach of children to prevent small
children from accidentally swallowing them.

Caution on handling
•• Be sure to hold the plug when unplugging the cable.
•• Do not place undue stress on the cable, as this can result in wire
disconnection or damage. Observe the following for correct usage.
•• Do not pull on the cable unduly.
•• Do not pull too hard on the cord when attaching it to or removing
it from the included clip.
•• Do not fold the cable.
•• Do not allow a portable device to hang from the headphones.
•• Do not wrap the cable around the portable device.
•• If you allow a portable device to hang from the headphones, it
may become disconnected and fall. Take care as DENON does not
guarantee portable devices.
•• Metal parts will come in contact with your skin. People with
allergies to metal should not use these headphones. If you feel that
the headphones irritate your skin, stop using them and contact a
physician or the sales outlet for advice.
•• Do not use benzene, thinners, or other organic solvents or
insecticides on the main unit since they may cause a change in
quality or color.
•• Sound leaks out from the headphones when the volume is too high,
which may annoy people around you. Please be considerate and
lower the volume.
Caution on the battery
•• Be sure to turn this headphone’s power switch off when replacing
the battery.
•• Use a R03/AAA alkaline battery in this headphone. Using other
batteries may result in a shorter operating time.
•• The supplied battery is only for verifying operation.
•• Insert the battery in the proper direction, following the q and w
marks in the battery compartment.
•• To prevent damage or leakage of battery uid:
•• Do not attempt to charge dry battery.
•• Do not short-circuit, disassemble, heat or dispose of battery in a
re.
•• If the battery uid leaks, carefully wipe the uid off the inside of the
battery compartment and insert new battery.
•• Remove the battery from this headphone if it will not be used for
a long time.
•• Used battery in accordance with local regulations on battery
disposal.
•• Do not keep the battery near a re source, in a place exposed
to direct sunlight, inside a car in the hot sun, or in places with
extremely high temperatures, such as near a heater.

l’utiliser pendant un certain temps.
•• Mettez la pile usagée au rebut conformément à la réglementation

lassen, läuft es Gefahr, dass sich sein Stecker löst, dass das Gerät
herunterfällt und schwer beschädigt wird. Seien Sie vorsichtig,
DENON übernimmt für Mobilgeräte keine Garantie gegen
mechanische Beschädigungen.
•• Metallteile werden mit Ihrer Haut in Berührung kommen. Personen,
die gegenüber Metall allergisch sind, sollten diese Kopfhörer nicht
verwenden. Falls die Kopfhörer auf Ihrer Haut Irritationen auslösen,

Vorsichtsmaßnahmen im Umgang mit der Batterie
•• Vor dem Wechseln der Batterie den Kopfhörer am Schalter ausschalten.
•• Für diesen Kopfhörer wird eine Alkali-Batterie der Größe R03/
AAA benötigt. Die Verwendung anderer Batterien kann zu einer
verkürzten Nutzungsdauer führen.
•• Die mitgelieferte Batterie dient nur zur Betriebsprüfung.
•• Die Batterie richtig herum in das Batteriefach legen und auf die
Zeichen q und w achten.
•• Um Beschädigungen oder ein Auslaufen von Batterieüssigkeit zu
vermeiden:
•• Eine Trockenbatterie darf nicht aufgeladen werden.
•• Batterien nicht kurzschließen, zerlegen, erwärmen oder in ein
Feuer werfen.
•• Falls Batterieüssigkeit ausläuft, wischen Sie die Flüssigkeit im
Batteriefach ab, und setzen Sie eine neue Batterie ein.
•• Nehmen Sie die Batterie aus dem Kopfhörer, falls dieser längere
Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
•• Bei verbrauchten Batterien sind die örtlichen Bestimmungen zur
Batterieentsorgung zu befolgen.
•• Die Batterie muss von Brandquellen, Orten mit direkter
Sonneneinstrahlung, aus dem Innern eines in der heißen Sonne

Precauzioni per la sicurezza

Precauzioni per l’installazlone
•• Scollegare il cavo tenendolo per la spina.
•• Evitare di sottoporre il cavo di alimentazione a eccessive
sollecitazioni, in quanto ciò può causarne lo scollegamento e/o
il danneggiamento. Osservare le norme seguenti, per un corretto
utilizzo del cavo.
•• Non tirare il cavo con forza.
•• Non tirare il cavetto con forza eccessiva quando lo si attacca o lo si
rimuove dal morsetto in dotazione.
•• Non piegare il cavo di alimentazione.
•• Non lasciare che il dispositivo portatile resti sospeso alle cufe.
•• Non avvolgere il cavo di alimentazione attorno al dispositivo
portatile.
•• Se si lascia che il dispositivo portatile collegato all’unità resti
sospeso alle cufe, si può vericare lo scollegamento e la caduta
del dispositivo. In questi casi è necessario prestare la massima
attenzione in quanto DENON non offre alcuna garanzia sui
dispositivi portatili.
•• Delle parti in metallo saranno a contatto con la pelle. Le presenti
cufe non dovrebbero essere utilizzate da soggetti allergici al metallo.
Nel caso in cui l‘utilizzo delle cufe provocasse delle irritazioni
cutanee, interromperne l‘utilizzo e rivolgersi ad un medico oppure al
punto vendita.
•• Non utilizzare benzene, diluenti, altri solventi chimici o insetticidi
sull’unità principale, poiché possono deteriorarne la qualità o
modicare il colore.
•• La struttura delle cufe tende a lasciar fuoriuscire dei suoni in caso
di volume troppo alto. È buona norma rispettare le persone che ci
circondano.
Precauzioni per la batteria
•• Spegnere l’interruttore di alimentazione delle cufe quando si
sostituiscono le batterie.
•• Utilizzare una batteria alcalina di tipo R03/AAA per le cufe. L’utilizzo
di altri tipi di batterie potrebbe ridurre il tempo di funzionamento.
•• La batteria fornita in dotazione serve solo per vericare il
funzionamento delle cufe.
•• Inserire la batteria nel senso corretto, seguendo i contrassegni q
e w nel vano batteria.
•• Per prevenire danni e fuoriuscite:
•• Non tentare di caricare la batteria a secco.
•• Non cortocircuitare, smontare, riscaldare né eliminare le batterie
nel fuoco.
•• In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria, pulite con attenzione
l’interno del vano batterie ed inserite una batteria nuova.
•• Rimuovere la batteria se le cufe non verranno utilizzate per un
lungo periodo di tempo.
•• Smaltire le batterie esauste in conformità alle normative locali.
•• Non lasciare la batteria accanto a una fonte di calore o esposta alla
luce diretta del sole, all’interno di un’auto esposta al sole o in luoghi
soggetti ad alte temperature, ad esempio accanto a un termosifone.
