ADVICE ON SAFETY
• Before using the radio control, carefully read the whole
of the instructions manual.
• Use the radio control only at a distance that allows
you to visually control the automated system during
the whole of its movement.
• If the equipment does not work, strictly contact GENIUS
qualified personnel or GENIUS service centres.
• GENIUS is not responsible for problems caused by
improper use of the radio control.
• The radio control can only be used when combined
with an EASYWAVE receiver.
• DO NOT, ON ANY ACCOUNT, MODIFY THE CONTROL
DEVICE.

3. OPERATIONAL PRINCIPLE
The radio control is used for commanding the movement of
curtains or roller-shutters indoors or outdoors.
With reference to figure 1, the lay-out of the remote-control is
described in the following table:

The following can be commanded with the radio control:
• A maximum of four channels enabled individually or simul-
taneously.
• One or more operators for every single channel.
You select the channel and therefore the motors you wish to
command by scrolling the LED (fig.1 ref. e) with push-
button 4 (Fig. 1):
LED 1: CHANNEL 1 = All motors associated with channel 1
LED 2: CHANNEL 2 = All motors associated with channel 2
LED 3: CHANNEL 3 = All motors associated with channel 3
LED 4: CHANNEL 4 = All motors associated with channel 4
LED 1,2,3,4: CHANNEL 1,2,3,4= All motors associated with the
4 channels
4. COMMISSIONING
• Fasten the wall support (Fig.1 ref. d) using the supplied
accessories.
The wall support must be installed out of reach of chil-
dren.
• The radio control is supplied with a pre-installed internal
battery and can be used immediately.
• Transfer the radio control code to the receiver coupled to
the motor you wish to control. To carry out this operation
correctly, consult the receiver board instructions, if using
the external receiver. For operators with a built-in receiver,
refer to the motor instructions.
5. USING THE RADIO CONTROL
The three keys on the radio control, see Fig. 1, enable you
to command opening, key a, closing, key c, or motor stop,
key b.
To command the opening or closing of the curtain/roller
shutter, brief pressure of the appropriate key is sufficient,
without holding it down. Whenever one of the keys is pres-
sed, the LED (Fig. 1 ref. e) on the radio control lights up. The
following table specifies thebehaviour of the keys during the
individual stages:

6. REPLACING THE BATTERIES
Procedure for replacing the radio control battery:
a Insert a coin in the slot on the lower part of the radio control
(Fig. 2 ref.a) and turn it until the radio control opens.
b Withdraw the battery in the direction of the arrow.
c Insert the new battery and close the radio control.
• Respect the polarity indicated in Fig. 2.
• Strictly use only batteries with the characteristics
indicated in table a of paragraph 2.
Discharged batteries must be returned to the seller or left
in the collection containers. Do not leave exhausted
batteries in the environment.
