1 Sicherheitshinweise
Bitte lesen Sie diese Betriebsanleitung und die
Betriebsanleitung zum C/M2000 sorgfältig,
bevor Sie mit dem C/M2000 oder der durch
den C/M2000 geschützten Maschine arbeiten.
Dieses Dokument ist ein Originaldokument.
Prüfhinweise beachten
Bitte beachten Sie die Prüfhinweise der
Betriebsanleitung C/M2000.
Nach jedem Reinigungsprozess
beachten
Entfernen Sie Wasserreste auf der
Kunststoffröhre.
Wischen Sie die Kunststoffröhre mit
einem sauberen Tuch ab.
Überprüfen Sie die Lage von Sender
und Empfänger, um sicherzustellen,
dass kein Übergreifen, Untergreifen
oder Hintertreten der Schutzeinrich-
tung möglich ist.
Prüfen Sie die Wirksamkeit der
Schutzeinrichtung wie in der Bedie-
nungsanleitung C/M2000 „Prüfun-
gen C/M2000“ beschrieben.
Das IP69K Housing bzw. die Kunststoffröhre
sind regelmäßig und bei Verschmutzung zu
reinigen.
1.Verwenden Sie keine aggressiven Reini-
gungsmittel.
2.Verwenden Sie keine abriebfördernden
Reinigungsmittel.
3.Durch statische Aufladung bleiben Staub-
teilchen an der Kunststoffröhre hängen. Sie
können diesen Effekt mindern, wenn Sie zur
Reinigung den antistatischen Kunststoffrei-
niger (Bestell-Nummer 5600006) und das
SICK-Optiktuch (Bestell-Nummer 4003353)
verwenden.
4.So reinigen Sie das IP69K Housing:
Entfernen Sie Verschmutzungen auf der
Kunststoffröhre mit reichlich Wasser. Sie
vermeiden so Kratzer auf der Oberfläche.
Wischen Sie anschließend mit einem saube-
ren, leicht feuchten Tuch nach.
Trocknen Sie abschließend die Kunststoff-
röhre mit einem sauberen Tuch.
2 Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Das IP69K Housing für den C/M2000 erfüllt die
Anforderungen an die Schutzart IP 69K nach
IEC 60529/DIN 40050.
3 Produktbeschreibung
Der Sicherheits-Lichtvorhang C2000 und die
Mehrstrahl-Sicherheits-Lichtschranke M2000
erreichen in Verbindung mit dem IP69K Housing
die Schutzart IP 69K.
Durch kompaktes Design, Verwendung geeigneter
Materialien wie Edelstahl, PA, PMMA und PVC
ergibt sich eine gute Beständigkeit gegen übliche
Reinigungsmittel, Hochdruckreiniger mit einem
Wasserdruck bis 100 bar und Wassertemperatu-
ren bis 80°C. Ein Druckausgleichselement (Mem-
brane) verhindert das Beschlagen der Kunststoff-
röhre sowie das Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten. Die
Verwendung IP-69K-tauglicher PVC-Kabel gewähr-
leistet eine sichere Kabelführung.
4 Montage
Die Montage des IP69K Housing ist an den beiden
Endkappen vorgesehen. Zur Befestigung bieten wir
Edelstahlhalter (siehe Bestelldaten Zubehör) an.
Bei Schwing-/Schockbelastungen nach IEC 61496
sind die verstärkten Edelstahlhalterungen und die
Stützhalterungen zu verwenden (siehe Bestell-
daten Zubehör). Die genauen Anbaumaße sind
dem Maßbild zu entnehmen.
Im Servicefall: Einfache Montage der Leitungen
mit Hilfe des Montageschlüssels (zweifach
geschlitzte Seite verwenden). Beim Montieren der
M12-Dose zuerst die korrekte Codierposition fest-
stellen und dann die Mutter festdrehen.

Abstand zu reflektierenden Flächen
Die optischen Eigenschaften der Kunststoff-
röhre verändern den erforderliche Abstand
zu reflektierenden Flächen beim Einsatz von
C/M2000-Geräten. Bitte beachten Sie nach-
folgende Grafik.
So berechnen Sie den Mindestabstand zu reflek-
tierenden Flächen (RF), (OW = Öffnungswinkel):
Ermitteln Sie den Abstand D [m] zwischen
Sender und Empfänger.
Lesen Sie den Mindestabstand a [mm] im
Diagramm ab.
5 Installation
Bitte beachten Sie die Installationshinweise der
Betriebsanleitung zum C/M2000.
Schutzfolie entfernen
Um die Kunststoffröhre vor Transportschä-
den zu schützen, ist sie mit einer Schutzfolie
versehen. Entfernen Sie die Folie vollständig
und reinigen Sie die Kunststoffröhre vor der
ersten Inbetriebnahme.
Entsorgung
Entsorgen Sie unbrauchbare oder irrepara-
ble Geräte immer gemäß den jeweils gülti-
gen länderspezifischen Abfallbeseitigungs-
vorschriften.

behilflich. Sprechen Sie uns an.

1 Consignes de sécurité
Avant de commencer à travailler avec le
C/M2000 ou avec une machine protégée par
le C/M2000, l’utilisateur est prié de lire
attentivement cette notice d’instructions ainsi
que la notice d’instructions du C/M2000.
Ce document constitue une traduction du
document original.
Observer les consignes de test
Les consignes de test du C/M2000
données dans la notice d’instruction
doivent être observées.
Après chaque procédure de nettoyage,
effectuer des opérations suivantes:
Éliminer toute trace d’eau du boîtier
cylindriques en plastique.
Essuyer le boîtier cylindriques en
plastique avec un chiffon propre.
Vérifier la disposition de l’émetteur et
du récepteur afin de s’assurer qu’il
n’est pas possible de contourner
l’équipement de sécurité par le des-
sus, le dessous ou l’arrière.
Vérifier que l’équipement de sécurité
fonctionne comme indiqué sous le
titre «Consigne de test du C/M2000»
de la notice d’instructions du
C/M2000.
Le IP69K Housing (c.-à-d. le boîtier
cylindriques en plastique) doit être nettoyé
régulièrement.
1.Ne pas utiliser de nettoyant agressif
2.Ne pas utiliser de nettoyant abrasif
3.En raison de l’attraction électrostatique, des
particules de poussière adhèrent sur le boî-
tier cylindriques en plastique. Il est possible
de réduire cet effet en utilisant pour le net-
toyage un produit antistatique (Référence
5600006) et les chiffons optiques SICK
(Référence 4003353).
4.Procédure de nettoyage du IP69K Housing:
Rincer abondamment la vitre acrylique à
l’eau pour éloigner les saletés. Cela évite de
rayer la surface.
Essuyer ensuite le boîtier cylindriques en
plastique avec un chiffon propre légèrement
humide.
Sécher enfin le boîtier cylindriques en
plastique avec un chiffon propre et sec.
2 Conformité d’utilisation de
l’appareil
Le IP69K Housing pour le C2000/la M2000
répond aux exigences de l’indice de protection
IP 69K selon CEI 60529/DIN 40050.
3 Description du produit
Avec le IP69K Housing, le barrage immatériel de
sécurité C2000 et la barrière de sécurité multi-
faisceau M2000 peuvent atteindre l’indice de
protection IP 69K
En raison de la compacité de sa conception, de
l’utilisation de matériaux adaptés comme l’acier
inoxydable, le PA, le PMMA et le PVC, il présente
une bonne résistance aux produits de nettoyage
habituels et au nettoyage haute pression (pression
et température de l’eau respectivement jusqu’à
100 bar et 80 °C). Un élément de compensation
de la pression (membrane) empêche la formation
de buée sur les tuyaux en plastique et la pénétra-
tion de liquides L’utilisation d’un câble gainé PVC
compatible avec l’indice IP 69K garantit la sécurité
du câblage.
4 Montage
Le montage du IP69K Housing se fait par l’inter-
médiaire des deux couvercles des extrémités. Pour
la fixation, nous proposons un support en inox
(cf. Références des accessoires). L’appareil
supporte vibrations et chocs selon CEI 61496 à
condition d’utiliser les fixations renforcées et la
potence en inox (cf. Références des accessoires).
Les cotes de montage figurent sur le plan coté.
Pour le service : montage simple des câbles au
moyen d’une clé de montage (utiliser le côté à
double fente). Pour le montage du connecteur
femelle M12, déterminer d’abord la position de
codage correct puis serrer l’écrou.

Distance des surfaces réfléchissantes
Les propriétés optiques des boîtiers cylin-
driques en plastique modifient les distan
ces
à respecter pour les surfaces réfléchis-
santes avec les appareils C/M2000.
Respecter les valeurs du graphique ci-
dessous.
Procédure de calcul de la distance minimale des
surfaces réfléchissantes (SR) (AO = Angle d’ouver-
ture) :
Déterminer la distance D [m] séparant l’émet-
teur du récepteur.
Lire la distance minimale a [mm] correspondant
à D sur le graphique.
5 Installation
Observer les conseils d’installation donnés dans la
notice d’instructions du C/M2000.
Déposer la pellicule de protection
Le boîtier cylindriques en plastique est pro-
tégée pendant le transport par une pellicule
plastique. Déposer totalement cette pellicu-
le et nettoyer la vitre acrylique avant la pre-
mière mise en service.
Mise au rebut
Les appareils inutilisables ou irréparables
doivent être éliminés en conformité avec les
prescriptions en vigueur dans le pays où ils
sont installés.

1 Safety Notes
Please read these operating instructions and
the operating instructions for the C/M2000
carefully before you work with the C/M2000 or
the machine protected by the C/M2000.
This document is an original document.
Note the Test Instructions
Please note the Test Instructions given
in the C/M2000 Operating Instructions.
Check the following after each clean-
ing process
Remove any residues of water on the
polymere tube.
Wipe the polymere tube with a clean
cloth.
Check the position of the sender in
relation to the receiver to ensure that
it is not possible to reach over, under
or behind the safety device.
Check the effectiveness of the safety
device as described in the C/M2000
Operating Instruction “Checking the
C/M2000”
The IP69K Housing i.e. the polymere tube
must be cleaned regularly or if it becomes
dirty.
1.Never apply any corrosive or harmful clean-
ing agent.
2.Never use an abrasive cleaning agent.
3.Due to static charging, particles of dust may
remain deposited upon the polymere tube.
You can reduce this effect if you use the
anti-static plastic cleaning agent
(Part No. 5600006) and optic cleaning cloth
(Part No. 4003353) available from SICK.
4. Clean the IP69K Housing as follows:
Remove any dirt from the polymere tube
with water. Avoid causing any scratch marks
on the surface of the polymere.
Then wipe using a clean, damp cloth.
Finally, dry off the polymere tube with a
clean cloth.
2 Use in Accordance with the
Regulations
The IP69K Housing for the C/M2000 meets the
requirements for enclosure rating IP 69K in accor-
dance with IEC 60529/DIN 40050.
3 Product Description
The C2000 safety light curtain and the M2000
multiple light beam safety device meet enclosure
rating IP 69K in conjunction with the IP69K
Housing.
Due a compact design and the usage of suitable
materials such as stainless steel, PA, PMMA and
PVC, there is good resistance to common cleaning
agents, high pressure cleaners with a water
pressure up to 100 bar and water temperatures
up to 80 °C. A pressure equalisation element
(membrane) prevents the plastic tubes misting up
and the entry of liquids. The usage of PVC cable
suitable of IP 69K will ensure a reliable cable
connection.
4 Mounting
The IP69K Housing is mounted by way of the two
end caps provided. For added security, we offer
stainless steel holders (refer to the Ordering Infor-
mation for Accessories). In the event of subjection
to shock/ vibration loadings during use, as per IEC
61496, the reinforced type stainless steel holders
and support brackets are to be used (refer to the
Ordering Information for Accessories). The precise
dimensions for installation can be taken from the
dimensional drawing.
In the case of service: the cables are easy to
mount with the aid of the mounting key (use
double slotted end). On mounting the M12 socket,
first determine the correct coding position and
then tighten the nut.

Distance to reflective surfaces
The optic properties of the polymere tube
alter the minimum distance required to
reflective surfaces when using C/M2000
units. Please take note of the following
graph.
You can thus calculate the minimum distance to
the reflective surfaces (RS) (AA = Aperture angle)
by:
Establishing the distance D [m] between the
sender and the receiver.
Read off the minimum distance “a” [mm] from
the graph.
5 Installation
Please note the installation instructions in the
Operating Instruction for the C/M2000.
Remove protective film
To protect the polymere tube from damage
during transportation, it is covered with a
protective film. Remove the film completely
and clean the tube before initial
commissioning.
Disposal
Always dispose unusable or irreparable
units in accordance with the applicable
current national regulations concerning
waste disposal.

Da osservare dopo ogni intervento di
pulizia
Rimuovere i residui d’acqua dai tubi
in plastica.
Pulire i tubi in plastica con un panno
pulito.
Controllare la posizione di trasmetti-
tore e ricevitore per assicurarsi che
non sia possibile intervenire né da
sopra, né da sotto o accedere da
dietro al dispositivo di protezione.
Controllare l’efficacia del dispositivo
di protezione come descritto nelle
istruzioni per l’uso C/M2000 “Con-
trolli C/M2000”.
IP69K Housing e i tubi in plastica devono
essere puliti regolarmente e in caso di
imbrattamento.
1.Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi.
2.Non impiegare detergenti abrasivi.
3.A causa della carica elettrostatica, sui tubi in
plastica rimangono sospese particelle di
polvere. È possibile limitare questo effetto
utilizzando per la pulizia il detergente per
plastica antistatico (codice di ordinazione
5600006) e la salvietta SICK (codice di
ordinazione 4003 353).
4.Pulire IP69K Housing nel seguente modo:
Rimuovere gli accumuli di sporco dai tubi in
plastica con abbondante acqua, per evitare
di graffiare la superficie.
Successivamente, pulire con un panno
pulito e leggermente inumidito.
Infine, asciugare i tubi in plastica con un
panno pulito.
2 Utilizzo in conformità alle
normative
L’IP69K Housing per la C/M2000 corrisponde ai
requisiti del grado di protezione IP 69K secondo
IEC 60529/DIN 40050.
3 Descrizione del prodotto
La cortina di sicurezza C2000 e la barriera di sicu-
rezza multiraggio M2000 abbinate all’IP69K
Housing raggiungono il grado di protezione IP 69K.
Il design compatto, l’utilizzo di materiali idonei
come l’acciaio, la PA, il PMMA e il PVC consentono
una buona resistenza contro i detergenti comuni,
contro le pulitrici ad alta pressione con una press-
ione dell’acqua fino 100 bar e contro le tempera-
ture d’acqua fino a 80 °C. Un elemento per la
compensazione della pressione (membrana) impe-
disce l’appannamento dei tubi in materiale plasti-
co, nonché la penetrazione di liquidi. L’impiego di
cavi in PVC a prova di IP 69K garantisce un
alloggiamento sicuro dei cavi.
4 Montaggio
Il montaggio di IP69K Housing è previsto su
entrambe le coperture finali. Per il fissaggio,
offriamo supporti in acciaio (vedere Dati di ordina-
zione degli accessori). In caso di sollecitazioni dov-
ute ad oscillazioni/urti secondo IEC 61496 occorre
impiegare i supporti in acciaio e i sostegni rinforza-
ti (vedere Dati di ordinazione degli accessori). Le
dimensioni di montaggio precise sono indicate nel
disegno quotato.
In caso di assistenza: montaggio semplice dei cavi
grazie alla chiave di montaggio (usare il lato a
doppio intaglio). Nel montaggio del connettore
M12 fissare innanzitutto la posizione di codifica
corretta, quindi il dado.

Distanza dalle superfici riflettenti
Le caratteristiche ottiche dei tubi in plastica
modificano la distanza necessaria rispetto
alle superfici riflettenti in caso d'uso di
apparecchi C/M2000. Osservare il grafico
seguente.
Calcolare la distanza minima dalle superfici riflet-
tenti (SR) come segue (AA = Angolo di apertura):
misurare la distanza D [m] tra trasmettitore e
ricevitore.
Leggere la distanza minima a [mm] nello sche-
ma.
5 Installazione
Osservare le indicazioni per l’installazione delle
istruzioni per l’uso di C/M2000.
Rimuovere la pellicola protettiva
Per proteggere i tubi in plastica nei confronti
di danneggiamenti dovuti al trasporto, è
presente una pellicola protettiva. Rimuovere
completamente la pellicola e pulire i tubi in
plastica prima della prima messa in funzi-
one.
Smaltimento
Smaltire gli apparecchi inutilizzabili o non
riparabili sempre in base alle vigenti dispo-
sizioni sullo smaltimento dei rifiuti specifi-
che del paese.
