del aparato para cualquier otro propósito o cualquier daño atribuido a una utilización incorrecta,

uso indebido o inobservancia de la información de seguridad, invalidará toda responsabilidad y

garantía.

Este manual de instrucciones pertenece al aparato y debe guardarse en un lugar seguro.

Estas instrucciones se deben entregar al nuevo propietario en caso de cambio.

Generales

1. Este aparato pueden utilizarlo niños con edad de 8

años y superior y personas con capacidades físicas,

sensoriales o mentales reducidas o falta de experiencia

y conocimiento, si se les ha dado la supervisión o

formación apropiadas respecto al uso del aparato de

una manera segura y comprenden los peligros que

implica. Los niños no deben jugar con el aparato. La

limpieza y el mantenimiento a realizar por el usuario

no deben realizarlo los niños sin supervisión.

2. Se deberá supervisar a los niños para asegurarse de

que no juegan con este aparato.

3. PRECAUCIÓN: Para la seguridad de sus niños no

deje material de embalaje (bolsas de plástico, cartón,

polietileno etc.) a su alcance.

4. Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser

sustituido por el fabricante, el servicio técnico o

cualquier otro profesional cualificado para evitar un

peligro.

5. No desconecte nunca tirando del cable.

6. No lo ponga en funcionamiento si el cable o el

enchufe están dañados o si observa que el aparato no

funciona correctamente.

7. No manipule el aparato con las manos mojadas.

Específicas

ADVERTENCIA: NO CUBRIR EL APARATO.

Para evitar el sobrecalentamiento, nunca cubra

el aparato.

 Los niños menores de 3 años deben mantenerse

fuera del alcance del aparato a menos que sean

continuamente supervisados.

 Los niños desde 3 años y menores de 8 años deben

sólo encender/apagar el aparato siempre que éste

haya sido colocado o instalado en su posición de

funcionamiento normal prevista y que sean

supervisados o hayan recibido instrucciones relativas al

uso del aparato de una forma segura y entiendan los

riesgos que el aparato tiene. Los niños desde 3 años y

menores de 8 años no deben enchufar, regular y

limpiar el aparato o realizar operaciones de

mantenimiento.

 PRECAUCIÓN: Algunas partes de este aparato

pueden ponerse muy calientes y causar quemaduras.

Debe ponerse atención particular cuando los niños y

las personas vulnerables estén presentes.

 El aparato no debe colocarse inmediatamente debajo

de una base de toma de corriente.

 No situar el aparato próximo a mobiliario, entelado,

 ADVERTENCIA: Este aparato de calefacción no está

equipado con un dispositivo de control de la

temperatura de la habitación. No utilice este aparato

de calefacción en habitaciones pequeñas que estén

ocupadas por personas que no puedan abandonar por

si mismas la habitación, a menos que se proporcione

vigilancia permanente.

 Compruebe que el voltaje de la red doméstica

coincide con el señalado en la etiqueta del aparato.

 El aparato se debe conectar a una toma con conexión

a tierra. Si va a utilizar un cable alargador, utilice un

cable con toma de tierra. No obstante, debe

asegurarse de que los enchufes y el cable soporta la

potencia del aparato. El cable del alargador no debe

estar enrollado, sino extendido.

 No utilice el aparato en ambientes inflamables (por

ejemplo cerca de gases combustibles o

pulverizadores). ¡Riesgo de explosión y fuego!

 ¡Importante! No introduzca ningún tipo de objeto

por las aberturas del aparato. ¡Existe riesgo de lesiones

(descarga eléctrica) y daños en el aparato!

 ¡Atención! La rejilla frontal se calienta mucho cuando

se utiliza el aparato. Coloque el aparato de manera que

no pueda tocarse por accidente. Riesgo de

quemaduras. El aparato se enfriará de manera gradual

después de apagarse.

 Mantenga el cable a una distancia prudente de las

rejillas de entrada y salida de aire. No enrolle el cable

alrededor del aparato ni lo doble.

 Siempre desenchufe el aparato después de utilizarlo.

 El enchufe debe estar accesible en cualquier

momento para desconectar el enchufe de la corriente

tan rápido como sea posible.

 No intente mover el aparato mientras se está

utilizando.

lo deje encendido si sale de casa.

 La protección de este aparato se ha diseñado para

calefacción.

 Usar este aparato de calefacción sobre una superficie

horizontal y estable, o fijarlo a la pared según sea

aplicable.

 ADVERTENCIA: No utilice este aparato de calefacción

en habitaciones pequeñas que estén ocupadas por

personas que no puedan abandonar por si mismas la

habitación, a menos que se proporcione vigilancia

permanente.

 ADVERTENCIA: Para reducir el riesgo de fuego,

mantenga los textiles, cortinas, u otro material

inflamable a una distancia mínima de 1 m de la

salida de aire.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

 Antes de conectar el aparato a la red, asegúrese de este se encuentra en la posición

apagada (los dos interruptores en “OFF”).

 Conectar a la red y seleccionar la potencia deseada, 400 W (un interruptor) ó 800 W (los

dos interruptores). Cuando termine de usarlo, sitúe los interruptores en posición OFF y

desconecte de la red.

 Si el aparato no está siendo usado y pretende guardarlo, espere hasta que se haya

enfriado. Entonces, guárdelo.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

 Este aparato no requiere un mantenimiento o limpieza especiales. Antes de realizar

cualquier operación de mantenimiento o limpieza desconecte el aparato de la corriente

eléctrica y deje que se enfríe completamente.

 Para la limpieza se recomienda usar un trapo suave húmedo con detergente neutro. No

use detergentes o estropajos abrasivos puesto que podrían afectar al estado exterior del

aparato.

 Compruebe que las partes expuestas al calor de los tubos esté libre de polvo o suciedad.

 Durante la limpieza, no toque los elementos de cuarzo.

 Guárdelo en un lugar seco si no lo va a utilizar.

General Safety Instructions

1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8

Special Safety Instructions

WARNING: DO NOT COVER. In order to avoid

overheating, do not cover the heater.

 Children of less than 3 years should be kept away

unless continuously supervised.

 Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall

only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has

been placed or installed in its intended normal

operating position and they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8

years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the

appliance or perform user maintenance.

 CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become

very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be

given where children and vulnerable people are

present.

 The device should not be placed immediately below

a socket base.

 Do not place a heater in use near curtains, furniture,

wood paneling or combustible material which can

deteriorate with heat.

 Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer or

any other device that switches the heater on

automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is

covered or positioned incorrectly.

 Do not use this heater in the immediate vicinity of a

bath, shower or pool.

 WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a room

temperature control. Do not use this heater in small

rooms that are occupied by people who cannot leave

the room by themselves, unless you provide

surveillance.

 Check if the voltage indicated on the bottom of the

appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage

before you connect the appliance.

 The appliance must be connected to an earthed

mains outlet. If you wish to use an extension cord, a 3-

wire type is suitable.

 Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres

(e.g. in the vicinity of combustible gases or sprays

cans)! Explosion and fire hazard!

 Important! Do not insert any object into the

appliance openings! Risk of injury (electric shock) and

damage to the appliance!

 Attention! The front grille becomes very hot when

the appliance is in use. Place the appliance so that is

cannot be touched by accident! Risk of burns! The

appliance will cool down gradually after being

switched off.

 Keep the mains cord at a safe distance from the air

inlet and outlet grills. Do not wind the cord around the

appliance and do not bend it.

 Always unplugged the heater after use.

 The socket-outlet must be accessible at all times to

enable the mains plug to be disconnected as quickly as

possible.

 Do not attempt to move the heater while in use.

 Allow to pursue the device not unsupervised and do

not leave the house if you use the device.

 Protection of this heater is designed to prevent direct

access to the heating elements and should be

positioned in place when in use. This protection does

not guarantee full protection for children or disabled

persons.

 Do not use the heater on extremely deep-pile

carpets!

 Do not use the heater in an upright position.

 There is tip over switch on the base. When the heater

tips over, the electricity will be turned off

automatically.

 WARNING: do not use the product after a short

circuit.

 Do not use this heater if it has been dropped.

 Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the

heater.

 Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable

surface, or if possible fix it to a wall.

 WARNING: Do not use this heater in rooms that are

occupied by persons who cannot leave the room by

themselves, unless permanent surveillance is

provided.

 WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles,

curtains, or other flammable material at least 1m

away from the air outlet.

OPERATION

 Before plugging into the socket, be sure both switches are in the OFF position.

 Plug the device and select 400W by pressing the lower or upper switch respectively. For

full power 800W, please press both lower and upper switches. When finished using it, place

the switch in position OFF and disconnect from the network.

 If the heater is not in use and you want to store it, wait until the heater is cool. Then,

store it.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

 This appliance does not require any particular maintenance. Before undertaking any

maintenance operation, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.

 For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft moist rag and neutral detergent. Do not use

an abrasive cloth or devices which could affect the outward appearance of the appliance.

Check that the parts exposed to the heat rays and the ventilation are free of dust and

dirt.

 During cleaning, be careful not to touch the quartz heating elements.

 Store in a cool dry place when not in use.
