Fabric Guide
Tip: To prevent iron marks on your fabric, iron the fabric inside out.

Steam Level Other Like Fabrics + Properties
Like Fabrics: 100% Cotton, Denim, & Corduroy
Properties: Higher temperature and steam settings
needed to get through tough wrinkles.
Cotton

Like Fabrics: Polyester
Properties: More resistant to wrinkles and are able
to endure low heat and low steam levels
Wool

Like Fabrics: Poly-Blends & Cotton Blends
Properties: Since there are multiple formulations
for fabric blends, lower heat is
recommended to avoid scorching
Tip: Use spray mist on low heat setting for
tough wrinkles.
Blends

Like Fabrics: Rayon/Acetate, Nylon, Viscose, Acrylic
& Lycra/Spandex
Properties: Very sensitive to heat and do not need
steam to achieve wrinkle-free results.
Tip: Do not use any water while ironing silk.
For other fabrics, use spray mist on low
heat setting for tough wrinkles.
Silk

Properties: Most prone to wrinkle and needs high
heat and high steam in order to achieve
crisp results.
Tip: Linen can also be ironed without steam
while the fabric is still damp. Do not
iron fabric to dry it.

Quick Start Tips:
1. Fill your water tank.
2. Plug in your iron, the red power light will
illuminate on the handle.
3. Select the soleplate temperature, by turning
the “Temp” dial.
Note: If you are unsure of the proper setting, always
start at a low heat.
4. Select the desired steam setting for your fabric type
using the variable steam dial.
5. Once the iron is preheated, the Power light will turn off.
6. When done ironing, turn "Temp" dial down to minimum,
unplug and allow time to cool.
Note: If the iron is left inactive for a while, it will go into
Auto-Off mode and the power light will blink. Simply
move your iron and it will resume heating.
