Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung

Das Produkt wurde für Anwendungen im Automotive-Bereich entwickelt und

freigegeben. Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur gemäß dessen Spezikationen. Bei

abweichender Nutzung ist die Produktsicherheit nicht gewährleistet.

Die PGC-1000 Grabber Card ist für folgende Anwendungen konzipie:

- Eassung von Daten bildgebender Sensoren und anderer Daten über

Ethernet-Schnistellen

- Wiedergabe von aufgezeichneten Daten zum Zwecke der Stimulation über

Ethernet-Schnistellen

Einsatzbereich

- Das Produkt ist für den Einsatz in folgenden Bereichen freigegeben: Perso-

nal-Computer.

- Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht in nasser oder feuchter Umgebung.

- Betreiben Sie das Produkt nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen.

Technischer Zustand

Das Produkt entspricht dem Stand der Technik. Betreiben Sie das Produkt und

dessen Zubehör nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand. Nehmen Sie ein be-

schädigtes Produkt sofo außer Betrieb. Verändern Sie das Produkt nicht. Än-

derungen düen nur von PLC2 ausgefüh werden.

Montage

Das Produkt da nur an einem gegen elektrostatische Entladung gesicheen

Arbeitsplatz aus der ESD-Verpackung genommen und eingebaut werden.

Montieren, verbinden, trennen und verkabeln Sie PLC2-Produkte und Kompo-

nenten nur in spannungsfreiem Zustand. Verschrauben Sie die Slotblende der

Steckkae am Gehäuse des Personal-Computers.

Montageo

Hinweis

Beschädigung der Elektronik durch Potentialausgleich

Der Schirm der Kabel kann mit dem Gehäuse, der Masse oder der Masse der

Stromversorgung des Produkts verbunden sein. Bei unterschiedlichen Masse-

potentialen im Versuchsaufbau können über den Schirm der Kabel Ausgleichs-

ströme zwischen den Produkten ießen. Berücksichtigen Sie in Ihrem Ver-

suchsaufbau unterschiedliche elektrische Potentiale und treen Sie geeignete

Maßnahmen, um Ausgleichsströme zu verhindern.

Fixieren

- Beim Befestigen des Produkts düen die Platine und deren Komponenten

nicht beschädigt werden.

- Befestigen Sie das Produkt nur an den dafür vorgesehenen Befestigungs-

elementen.

Belüftung

Achten Sie auf eine ausreichende Luftzirkulation für einen ezienten Wärme-

austausch.

Betrieb

Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur mit aktueller Firmware. Hinweise zur Aktualisie-

rung der Firmware nden Sie im Benutzerhandbuch. Sollte das Firmware-Upda-

te nicht eolgreich abgeschlossen werden, wiederholen Sie das Firmware-Up-

date. Wenn ein erneutes Firmware-Update nicht möglich und das Produkt nicht

funktionsfähig ist, senden Sie das Produkt an den Distributor.

Elektrischer Anschluss

Elektrosicherheit und Stromversorgung

Halten Sie die Anschluss- und Einstellwee ein (siehe Kapitel Technische Daten).

Produkt spannungsfrei schalten

1. Schalten Sie die PCIe-Schnistelle spannungsfrei.

2. Trennen Sie alle Kabel vom Produkt.

Kabel

- Verwenden Sie nur PLC2-Kabel oder andere für die Anwendung zeiziee

Kabel.

- Verlegen Sie Kabel so, dass sie gegen Abrieb, Beschädigung, Veormung

und Knicken geschützt sind.

- Stellen Sie keine Gegenstände auf die Kabel.

- Verwenden Sie keine beschädigten Kabel.

- Transpoieren und lagern Sie das Produkt nur in einer ESD-Verpackung.

- Transpoieren Sie das Produkt nur einzeln.

- Trennen Sie vor dem Transpo alle angeschlossenen Kabel.

- Transpoieren Sie das Produkt nicht an damit verbundenen Kabeln.

Waung

Das Produkt ist waungsfrei.

Reinigung

- Reinigen Sie das Produkt nur im spannungsfreien Zustand.

- Verwenden Sie keine Druckluft zur Reinigung der Lüfter.

- Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Feuchtigkeit in das Produkt eindringt.

- Saugen Sie Staubpaikel und lose Fremdkörper vorsichtig ab.

Reparatur

Intended Use

The product was developed and approved for applications in the automotive

sector. Only operate the product as per its specications. If the product is used

in any other way, product safety is no longer ensured.

The PGC-1000 Grabber Card is designed for the following applications:

- Acquisition of data from imaging sensors and other data via Ethernet

inteaces

- Playback of recorded data for the purpose of stimulation via Ethernet

inteaces

Application Areas

- The product is approved for use in the following areas: Personal computer.

- Do not operate the product in a wet or damp environment.

- Do not operate the product in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Technical Condition

The product is designed in accordance with state-of-the-a technology. Only

operate the product and its accessories if they are in peect working order. Shut

down a damaged product immediately. Do not modify the product. Changes

must only be implemented by PLC2.

Assembly

The product must only be removed from the ESD packaging and installed in

a workplace that is protected against static discharges. Only install, connect,

disconnect, and cable PLC2 products and components when they are de-ener-

gized. Screw the slot bracket of the plug-in card to the housing of the personal

computer.

Installation Location

Notice

Damage to the electronics due to potential equalization

The cables‘ shield may be connected to the housing, the ground or the ground

for the product‘s power supply. If there are dierent ground potentials in the

test setup, equalizing currents can ow between the products via the cables‘

shield.

Take account of dierent electric potentials in your test setup and take appro-

priate measures to prevent equalizing currents.

Securing the Product

- The printed circuit board and its components must not be damaged while

securing the product.

- Only secure the product to fastening elements intended for this.

Ventilation

Ensure that there is sucient air circulation for ecient heat exchange.

Operation

Only operate the product with the latest rmware. You can nd information ab-

out updating the rmware in the user manual. If the rmware update is not com-

pleted successfully, try it again. If a new rmware update is not possible and the

product is not functional, send the product to the distributor.

Cables

- Only use PLC2 cables or other cables ceied for the application.

- Route the cables such that they are protected against abrasion, damage,

deformation and kinking.

- Do not place any objects on the cables.

- Do not use any damaged cables.

- The connector and connection must not be diy.

- The connector and connection must be compatible.

- Correctly align the connector with the connection.

- Do not connect the connector and connection by force.

Transpo

- Only transpo and store the product in ESD packaging.

- Only transpo the product individually.

- Remove all connected cables before transpoation.

- Do not transpo the product by the connected cables.

Maintenance

The product is maintenance-free.

Cleaning

- Only clean the product when it is de-energized.

- Do not use compressed air to clean the fans.

- Make sure that no moisture enters the product.

La PGC-1000 Grabber Card está diseñada para las siguientes aplicaciones:

- Registro de datos de sensores de imágenes y otros a través de inteaces

Ethernet

- Reproducción de datos registrados para su estimulación a través de

inteaces Ethernet

Ámbito de aplicación

- El producto está autorizado para el empleo en los siguientes ámbitos: PC.

- No utilice el producto en entornos mojados o húmedos.

- No utilice el producto en zonas potencialmente explosivas.

Estado técnico

El producto se corresponde con los avances técnicos más recientes. Utilice el

producto y sus accesorios solo en estado técnico peecto. Si un producto está

dañado, póngalo inmediatamente fuera de servicio. No modique el producto.

Únicamente PLC2 puede encargarse de realizar cambios.

Montaje

La extracción del producto del embalaje ESD y el montaje del producto debe-

rán realizarse únicamente en un puesto de trabajo protegido contra descargas

electrostáticas. Monte, conecte, desconecte y realice el cableado de los pro-

ductos PLC2 y los componentes en un estado libre de tensión. Atornille el panel

de la ranura en la tarjeta extraíble a la carcasa del PC.

Lugar de instalación

Aviso

Daños en el sistema electrónico por compensación de potencial

La pantalla de los cables puede estar conectada con la carcasa, la masa o la

masa de la alimentación eléctrica del producto. Pueden uir por la pantalla de

Funcionamiento

Utilice el producto solo con rmware actual. En el manual de usuario podrá en-

contrar indicaciones para la actualización del rmware. Si no ha concluido cor-

rectamente la actualización del rmware, repítala. Si no es posible una nueva

actualización del rmware y el producto no funciona, envíe el producto al dis-

tribuidor.

Cables y accesorios

Cables

- Utilice solo cables PLC2 u otros cables ceicados para el empleo.

- Tienda los cables de modo que queden protegidos contra desgaste, daños,

deformaciones y dobleces.

- No coloque ningún objeto encima de los cables.

- No utilice cables dañados.

- El conector y la toma no deben estar sucios.

- El conector y la toma deben ser compatibles.

- Alinee el conector correctamente hacia la toma.

- No emplee fuerza para establecer la unión entre el conector y la toma.

Transpoe

- Transpoe y almacene el producto solo en un embalaje ESD.

- Transpoe el producto solo de forma individual.

- Desconecte todos los cables conectados antes del transpoe.

- No transpoe el producto por los cables conectados a él.

Mantenimiento

El producto no requiere mantenimiento.

Limpieza

- Limpie el producto solo en estado libre de tensión.

- No emplee aire a presión para la limpieza de los ventiladores.

- Compruebe que no entre humedad en el producto.

- Aspire cuidadosamente las paículas de polvo y los cuerpos extraños suel-
