Selectable operation modes
An electronic wall control that is compatible with all Fantech HRV/ERV
models. This control activates the system on 3 possible modes of operation:
• ECONO Continuous operation in ventilation mode at low or medium
speed.
•20 MIN/H 20 minutes ON, 40 minutes OFF Intermittent (Yellow)
• CONT Continuous high speed in ventilation or recirculation mode.
• OFF Standby mode, both fans off
Introduction du EDF3
Un dispositif de commande mural à trois fonctions qui est compatible avec
tous les modèles de VRC de Fantech. Cette commande active le système à
trois modes de fonctionnement possible.
• ECONO Fonctionnement continu à vitesse faible ou moyen
•20 MIN/H 20 minutes ON, 40 minutes OFF Intermittent (Jaune)
• CONT Opération continue à haute vitesse en mode ventilation ou
recirculation.
• OFF Mode veille, les deux ventilateurs éteints
Wiring of the EDF3
Connect the wires to the EDF3 wall control. Insert the stripped end of the wires into the electrical connection. Insert the wire into the W and W of the EDF terminal
connections and in the "W" position of the terminal connection bloc located on the fresh air appliance, near the power cord. Tighten screws using slot head screwdriver.
Câblage du EDF3
Insérez les bouts dénudés des fils dans les connecteurs électriques dans les positions "W" du EDF3. Insérez l'autre bout dans le connecteur électrique dans les positions
"W" situés sur le VRH/VRE, à proximité du cordon d'alimentation. Serrez les vis à l’aide d’un stylo-tournevis.

Jumper settings
Prior to installing this control, the jumpers on the back can be changed to influence how
it will operate.
Jumper JP1: Selects if the Econo function triggers the fan to run at LOW or MEDIUM
speed. JP1 is shipped from the factory on LOW. Move the jumper to connect the JP1
center pin with the MED pin to select MEDIUM speed.
Jumper JP2: Selects if the Cont function triggers the Fresh Air Appliance to run con-
tinuously on ventilations mode (VENT) or continuously in recirculation mode (RECIRC).
JP2 is shipped from the factory on Ventilation mode. Move the jumper to connect the
JP2 center pin with the RECIRC pin to select the Recirculation mode.
Réglage du cavalier
Avant d'installer cette commande, les cavaliers à l'arrière peuvent être modifiés
pour influencer son fonctionnement.
Cavalier JP1: Sélectionne si la fonction Econo déclenche le fonctionnement du ventilateur
à vitesse BASSE ou MOYENNE. JP1 est expédié de l'usine sur LOW. Déplacez le cava-
lier pour connecter la broche centrale JP1 avec la broche MED pour sélectionner la
vitesse MOYENNE.
Cavalier JP2: Sélectionne si la fonction Cont fait fonctionner l'Appareil Air Frais en
continu en mode ventilations (VENT) ou en continu en mode recirculation (RECIRC). JP2
est expédié de l'usine en mode Ventilation. Déplacez le cavalier pour connecter la
broche centrale JP2 avec la broche RECIRC pour sélectionner le mode de recirculation.
Installation of the EDF3
Screw the control mounting plate to the box then screw the cover over the
mounting plate.
Insstallation du EDF3
Visser la plaque de montage à la boite électrique puis visser le couvert à la
plaque de montage. Not Included.
