1200W Commercial Canister Vacuum
This vacuum cleaner is a high quality, precision made
product. All parts used in the manufacturing of this
vacuum cleaner have passed rigid quality control
standards prior to assembly and an “each unit” nal
inspection prior to packaging is your assurance of
proper assembly. This vacuum cleaner was protectively
packaged to prevent possible damage in transit. Should
damage occur, please notify the transporting carrier
immediately for loss and\or claim.
ABOUT THE MACHINE
TO CONNECT THE HOSE
Screw hose onto the hose connector at the front of
the machine.
ATTACHING TOOLS
The extension wands, handle and tools all push
together with a rm twisting motion. Tools can also
be used with the tool adaptor to attach them directly
to the end of the hose.
AIR SLIDE CONTROL
You can reduce and adjust the suction for delicate
fabrics by moving the air slide to open on the hand
grip. For maximum suction the air slide control should
be closed at all times.
CABLE REWIND
Always pull out the cable in full before using the
machine. To rewind the cable turn the rewind knob
in a clockwise direction. Avoid kinking of the cable
during rewinding. Do not use excessive force when
winding or unwinding the cable.
LID LOCKS
The top of the machine can be removed by sliding out
the two side locks. This gives access to the lter and
dust bag.
STORAGE
Coil cord in a large loop and insert under handle for
storage. Grasp the plug when unplugging from wall.
Do not pull the cord.
FILTER
Check lter regularly and brush clean when necessary.
CAUTION
This vacuum should be used for dry pick-up
only. DO NOT use to pick up water or other
luquids.
CAUTION
Never lubricate the vacuum cleaner motor. The
motor bearings are permanently sealed. This
vacuum is intended for indoor use only and it is
not intended to be exposed to rain.
CAUTION
Do not use the machine without dust bag and
lter in place as damage to your cleaner motor
unit will occur.

dif cult to access places such as between furniture
cushions, and around skirting, behind radiators, etc.
UPHOLSTERY TOOL:
Another multi-use item which cleans stairs, cushions,
curtains, upholstery, etc.
TOOL ADAPTER:
This attaches to the end of the hose cuff to use the
cleaning tools in restricted space areas where the
chrome bend is not convenient.

FILTER BAG
Check bag from time to time. When bag is over lled with dirt the cleaner
will not operate at full ef ciency.
CAUTION: Very ne materials such as builders dust, our, cold
ash (never suck up hot ash) or soot will greatly reduce air ow and
suction through the bag even though it is only partially full. When
the cleaner is used to remove material of this nature, change the
bag immediately after or as necessary during extended cleaning.
Replacement lter bags can be purchased from the distributor where
you purchased your cleaner.
NOTE: For better dust control, mocro ber dust bags can also be
purchased from the distributor where you purchased your cleaner.

REPLACING FILTER BAG
Disconnect cleaner from electrical source.
1. Unlock top assembly by pulling out the two side locks. Lift out the
lter. Remove dust bag by holding the collar and gently rocking
while pulling away from the inlet nozzle.
2. On removal of bag, fold tab on collar back to seal hole and place
in tank.
3. To t a replacement dustbag hold the edges of the bag card collar
and slide onto the inlet nozzle while gently moving up and down to
ensure it goes along the full length of the nozzle and as close as
possible to the tank casing.
4. Ensure lter is clean and dust free on underside and re t. Carefully
replace machine top assembly in its correct position an push in the
two locks.
MAINTENANCE
Familiarize yourself with these easy maintenance tasks as proper use and care of your cleaner
will ensure continued best cleaning effectiveness.

7. Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not
the cord.
8. Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
9. Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce
air ow.
10. Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all parts of the body away
from openings and moving parts.
11. Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as
cigarettes, matches, or hot ashes.
12. Do not use without dustbag and/or lters in place.
13. Turn off all controls before unplugging.
14. Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
15. Do not use to pick up ammable or combustible liquids such as
gasoline, or use in areas where they may be present.
16. This vacuum is for commercial use only.
17. Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See grounding
instructions.

GROUNDING
INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown,
grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to
reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord
having equipment grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug
must be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and
grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
This appliance is for use on a nominal 120 - Volt circuit, and has a
grounded plug that looks like the plug illustrated in sketch A below. A
temporary adapter that looks like the adapter illustrated in sketches B
and C may be used to connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle as shown
in sketch B if a properly grounded receptacle is not available. The
temporary adapter should be used only until a properly grounded outlet
(sketch A) can be installed by a quali ed electrician. The green colored
ear, lug, or the like extending from the adapter must be connected to
a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover.
Whenever the adapter is used, it must be held in place by a metal screw.
NOTE: In Canada, the use of a temporary adapter is not permitted by
the Canadian Electrical Code.

Cet appareil doit étre mis à la terre. En cas de défaillance ou de panne
éventuelles, la mise à la terre fournit au courant un chemin de moindre
résistance qui réduit le risque de choc électrique. Cet appareil est
pourvu d’un cordon muni d’un conducteur de terre et d’une che avec
broche de terre. La che doit être branchée dans une prise appropriée
correctment installée et mise à la terre conformement aux réglements et
ordonnances municipaux.
Cet appareil est destiné à un circuit de 120 V et est muni d’une che de
mise à la terre semblable à celle illustrée par le croquis A de la gure.
Sassurer que l’appareil est branché à une prise de courant ayant la mê
con guration que la che. Aucun adaptateur ne devrait être utilisé avec
cet appareil.

LIMITED WARRANTY
The vacuum cleaner is warrantied for 1 year from the date of purchase as
shown on your distributor’s invoice. Parts not covered under warranty are
power cords, lters, motor brushes and squeegee blades. The warranty
covers only failure due to defective parts or workmanship and will be
invalidated by improper application and abuse.
In NO circumstance should you return a failed unit to the factory. If you
experience any problems with your vacuum during the warranty period,
contact the Customer Service.
