and use, and you are still required to read, understand, and follow the owner’s

• Power:Thisproductdrawsaminimumof13AMPS.Mosthouseholdcircuitsare15to20AMPS.Ifthe

 circuitbreakertrips,pleasecheckthatnootherappliancesorotherlargeloadsareonthesamecircuitas

 thespa.Neveruseanextensioncord.Unfoldthelinecordpriortouse.Neverplacetheplugoncombustible

 materials.

• WaterHeating:Thisheaterwhenproperlysetupandrunningwillraisethewatertemperatureby2ºFper

 hourPROVIDEDthespacoverisproperlyinplace.DependingonthestartingtemperatureoftheSpa

 waterandexternalairtemperature,itwilltakesometimetoheatup.Ifthestartingtemperatureofyour

 tapwateris70ºFandyouwantedtoraiseitby30ºFto100ºF,theheatingtimewouldbe30ºF/2ºFperhour

 =15hours.Forsubsequentusetheheatingtimecanbeshortenedbymaintaininganidletemperaturein

 thespa(seeHEATINGANDWATERTEMPERATUREsection).BesuretokeepthecoverontheSpawhen

 notinuse.

• GFCI/RCD:ThisproductisprovidedwithaGFCI/RCDlocatedattheendofthepowercord.TheGFCImust

 betestedbeforeeachuse.DoNOTusetheSpaiftheGFCI/RCDdoesnotfunctionproperly.(Seeowner's

 manualforpropertestingofGFCI/RCDinstructions).

• FilterCartridge:Keepthespawaterproperlysanitizedtoextendthelifeofthecartridge.Refertothe 

 owner’smanualfordetailedinformationonspawaterchemistryandbalance.

UNFOLDING AND INFLATING YOUR SPA:

 • Whenyouunfoldtheinatablespatubyoumaynoticethesmellofthematerialthatisnormalfor

  anewproductoutofthebox.Itisthereforerecommendedtoinatetheproductandleaveit

  outdoorsforadaytoairandallowthenewproductsmelltodissipatesomewhatbeforellingthe

  spawithwater.

• Spreadthegroundclothwiththebubblesfacingdownovertheclearedareawhereyouintendto

  setupyourspa.

 • Youwillnoticetheorangecoloredwarninglabelontheinsideofthespatub.Removethislabel, 

  familiarizeyourselfwithitscontent,anddisplayitintheproximityofthespawherealluserswillbeable

  toseeitandreadit.

 • Forspaination,familiarizeyourselfwiththespringloadedvalveonthespatubandtheination

  outletonthecontrolbaseunittoassurefastandproperination.

Ination Outlet Tips:

 • Thelargerendoftheinationhoseattachestotheairoutletatthebackofthecontrolbaseunit(see

  owner’smanualfordrawingsandfurtherdetails).

 • Toattachtheinationhosetotheairoutlet,ipupthecontrolbasesidecovertorevealtheairblower

  inationoutlet.Pulloutthelatchtoopenthecover,insertthehoseadaptorwithhoseandreattachthe

  latchtothehoseadaptortosecureitinplace.

 • Wheninationiscomplete,releasethelatch,pullouttheinationhose,andsecurethelatchbackonto

  theoutlet.

NOTE:Toavoidover-ination,someairwillescapethroughthebottomair-bubbleoutletofthecontrol

  baseduringination.Thisisnormal.

Spring loaded valve tips:

 • Uponremovingthevalvecap,notethespringloadedpininthecenterofthevalve.Forination,

  thespringloadedpinshouldbeintheup/raisedposition(closedpositionofthevalve)astheair

  pressureofthepumpwillpushtheairthroughthevalveduringination.Checkthevalvepinand

  assureitisintheup/raisedpositionbeforestartingination.

 • Thepincanbepresseddownandlockedintherecessedpositionbypressingandturningit90°

  clockwisewithyournger–thisistheopenpositionofthevalvethatallowstheairtoowout

  freelyandthatisusedfordeation.

 • Toproperlyattachtheinationnozzleofthehose(thesmallerendofthehose),pushitintothe

  valveandtwistitclockwiseuntilitlockswiththevalve(youmayhearaclick).Toremovethenozzle

  uponination,twistitcounterclockwiseandpullitoutofthevalve.

 • Oncethespatubisproperlyinated,makesuretoclosethevalvecapfortheproperairtightseal.

HEATING AND WATER TEMPERATURE:

 • Fillingwithheatedwater:Youmayuseheatedwatertollthespa,whichwillshortentheinitial

  heat-uptime.However,makesurenottousewaterexceedingthenormalspaoperating

  temperatureswhicharenottoexceed104°F.Waterover104°Fwillturnofftheheatingunitandis

  notconsideredsafe.Alwayscheckthewatertemperatureinyourspabeforeuseandrefertothe

  owner’smanualfordetailedinformationonsafeuse.

 • Maintainingidlewatertemperature:YourPureSpaislikeanyhouseholdapplianceoraxedspa,

  andforcontinuoususeyoumaychoosetosetacertainidletemperaturetobemaintainedin

  thespawhennotinuse.Thiswillallowshorterheat-uptimeforwhenyoudecidetouseit.For

  example,maintainingthespawatertemperatureat85°Fwillallowreaching100°Finapproximately

  8hours.Remember,thewatertemperatureincreaseisapproximately2°Fperhourofheating(may

  varydependingonoutsidetemperatureandconditions),soplanyourspauseaccordingly.

NOTE:TheSpahasasafetyshut-offfeaturewhichwillturnofftheheatingunitafter72hoursof

  continuousheatingifthesettemperatureisnotreachedwithinthatperiod.Thismayoccurin

  coldexternalconditionsthatmaypreventthesettemperaturefrombeingreached.Inthatcase

  yourspaheatingunitwillshutoffanddisplaycode“END”,requiringpushingthetemperature

  settingbuttonandre-settingthetemperaturetore-starttheheatingunit.Tryalowermore

  reachabletemperatureforthegivenconditions,whichwillnotrequirere-startingtheheatingunit

  after72hours.

 • Watertemperatureduringuse:Whenyouareusingthespa,thewatertemperaturewillnaturally

  decreaseslightlyovertime.Theexpectedtemperaturedecreasecanbeanywherebetween2°F

  and4°Fperhourdependingonexternalconditions.Aslongastheheatingunitisturnedonwitha

  settemperature,itwillstartheatingthewaterautomaticallywhenwatertemperaturedropsby2°F

  fromthesettemperature.

  Example:Ifyoursettemperatureis102°F,theheaterwillnotcomeonuntilthetemperaturedrops

  to100°F.Ifyoushouldwishtoheatitbackupsooner,youcansimplyre-settheheaterbyturningit

  offandbackontostartheatingtoyourpreferredtemperature.

SPA COVER:

 • Thecoverisanimportantpartofyourspaasitiscrucialforheatingupthewaterandmaintaining

  thetemperaturewhenspaisnotinuse.Furthermore,itisacrucialsafetyelementforpreventionof

  unauthorizedaccesstothespaespeciallybychildren.

 • Notethattheattachmentbucklesofthecoverarelockingbuckles.Twokeysareprovidedinthe

  plasticbagwiththemanualandotheraccessories.Eachbuckleismarkedwith“locked”and

  “unlocked”symbolsforeasyoperation:putthekeyintotheslotonthebuckleandturnittothe

  appropriatepositiontolockorunlockthebucklerespectively.

 • Toassuresafetyfromunauthorizedaccess,alwaysputthecoveronwhenspaisnotinuseand

  lockallbuckles.Alwayskeepthekeysoutofreachofchildren.

 • Incaseyoumisplacethekeys,youcanuseanysimilarsizeatscrewdrivertolockorunlockthe

  buckles.

 • Unefoislegonageterminé,ouvrezleloquet,retirezletuyaudegonageetrexezleloquetsurla

  valve.

  entendreun"click").Pourenleverl'emboutdegonage,tournez-ledanslesenscontrairedes 

  aiguillesd'unemontreetsortez-ledelavalve.

 • Unefoisquelespaestgoné,assurez-vousquelavalvesoitferméeanquelejointsoitétanche

  àl'air.

CHAUFFAGE ET TEMPERATURE DE L'EAU:

 • Remplissageavecdel'eauchaude.Ilsepeutquevousutilisiezdel'eauchaudepourremplir 

  Exemple:Sivotretempératureprogramméeestde39°C,lechauffagenesemettrapasen 

  routeavantquelatempératuredescendeà38°C.Sivoussouhaitezfairere-chaufferl'eauplus

  tôt,vouspouvezreprogrammersimplementlatempératureenarrêtantl'appareileten  

 másomenosencalentarse.Silatemperaturadepartidadelaguadesugrifoesde21ºCydesea 

 aumentarlaendesde17ºChasta38ºC,eltiempodecalentamientoseríade17ºC/1,1ºCporhora=15

 horas.Paralassiguientesutilizacionesdelspa,sepuedeacortareltiempodecalentamientomanteniendo

 unatemperaturaenestadodereposoenelspa(consultelasecciónCALENTAMIENTOYTEMPERATURA

 DELAGUA).Asegúresedemantenerlatapacolocadasobreelspamientrasnoloestéutilizando.

• GFCI/RCD:EsteproductoestáequipadoconunGFCI/RCD(interruptordecircuitodeaccionamiento

 rápido/dispositivodecorrienteresidual)ubicadoenelextremodelcabledealimentación.Deberárevisarse

 elGFCIantesdecadauso.NOuseelSpasielGFCI/RCDnofuncionacorrectamente(Consulteelmanual

DESPLEGAR Y HICHAR SU SPA:

 • Aldesplegarelspahinchable,estedesprenderáunolorcaracterísticodeproductosnuevos.Es 

  recomendablehincharelproductoydejarloventilarduranteundíaparapermitirqueelolorse 

  disipeantesdellenardeaguaelspa.

 • ExtiendaeltapizdesueloconlasburbujasparabajosobreunárealimpiadondeUsteddesee 

  montarsuspa.

 • Hayunaetiquetanaranjadeadvertenciaenelinteriordelspa.Retireestaetiqueta,leaymemorice

  sucontenidoycolóquelacercadelspaparaquelosotrosusuariospuedanverlayleerla.

 • Antesdehincharelproducto,procureconocerelfuncionamientolaválvuladeconexióndelspay

  delasalidadelaireenelcuadrodecontrolparaasegurarunrápidoycorrectohinchado.

Consejos para salida de aire :

 • Lapartemáslargadelamangueradehinchadoseconectaalasalidadeaireenlaparteposterior

  delaunidaddecontrol(Veaelmanualdelpropietarioparaesquemasydetalles).

 • Paraconectarlamangueradeinadoalasalidadeaire,girehaciaarribalacubiertalateraldelabase

  decontrolparadescubrirelsopladordeaireSalidadeinado.Tiredelcierreparaabrirlacubierta,

  inserteeladaptadordelamangueraconlamanguerayvuelvaaengancharelcierrealadaptadordela

  mangueraparajarloensulugar.

 • Cuandonaliceelinado,libereelcierre,saquelamangueradeinadoyjeelcierredenuevoenla

  salida.

NOTA: Paraevitaruninadoexcesivo,partedelaireescaparáporlatomadeburbujasdeairesituada

  enlaparteinferiordelabasedecontrolduranteelinado,locualesnormal.

Consejos sobre la válvula de resorte:

 • Alquitarlatapadelaválvula,habráunbotónenelcentrodelaválvula.Paraelhinchado,este 

  botóntienequeestarlevantado(posicióncerradadelaválvula)porquelapresióndeairedela 

  bombaempujaráelaireporlaválvuladuranteelhinchado.Veriqueelbotónyasegúresedeque

  estálevantadoantesdeempezarelprocesodehinchado.

 • Parabajarelbotónybloquearlo,debepresionarloygirarlo90°ensentidohorario–estaesla 

  posiciónabiertaquepermitequeelairesalgalibrementeyesutilizadaparaelvaciado.

• Paraconectarcorrectamentelamanguera(lapartemáspequeñadelamanguera),colóquelaen

  elinteriordelaválvulaygírelaensentidohorariohastaquesebloquee(seoiráunclick).Para 

  retirarlamanguera,gírelaensentidoantihorario.

• Unavezqueelspaestétotalmentelleno,asegúresedecerrarlatapadelaválvulaparaevitar 

  escapedeaire.

CALENTAMIENTO Y TEMPERATURA DEL AGUA:

 • Llenadoconaguacaliente:Sepuedeutilizaraguacalienteparallenarelspa,loqueacortaráel

  tiempodecalentamiento.Entretanto,asegúresedenoultrapasarlatemperaturanormaldelspa 

  queesde40°C,máximo.Silatemperaturaestáporencimadelos40°C,elcalentadorseapagará

  y,además,nosepuedeconsiderarunprocedimientoseguro.Siempreveriquelatemperaturadel

  aguaantesdelusoyleaelmanualdeinstruccionesparainformacionesdetalladasdeseguridad.

 • Mantenerlatemperaturadelagua:ElPureSpafuncionacomocualquierotroaparatoospayse

  puedejarunatemperaturaquesemantengamientraselspanoestásiendoutilizado.Esto 

  disminuiráeltiempodecalentamientocuandosedecidausarelspa.Porejemplo,mantener 

  latemperaturaa29°C,permitiráalcanzarlos38°Cen,aproximadamente,9horas.Recuerde 

  quelatemperaturasube,aproximadamente1°Cporhora(dependiendodelatemperaturay
