INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
HDWPCP4B
4" x 4" Heavy Duty Wood Post Connector Plate
For securing and stabilizing a nominal wood 4" x 4" post to a wood surface.
DO NOT USE ON A STRUCTURE OVER 60" IN HEIGHT OR ON A DECK MORE THAN 24" OFF THE GROUND.
PARTS INCLUDED:
1. Measure your post and cut to the desired length.
Place your plate at the bottom of the post (with the raised side to the post)
and using Screw A, fasten the plate to the post to secure it while you
attach the larger fasteners.
2. Now that your plate is fastened, drill 1/8" pilot holes where
the four holes at the bottom are.
Attach the plate to the post using four (4) of Screw B.
Add the rubber washer to each screw before attaching it.
3. To begin surface installation, mark and drill 1/8" pilot holes.
Secure the plate to the surface using four (4) of Screw C.
Add a rubber washer to each screw before attaching it.
Ensure your screws are fully embedded into the
same thickness of material.

performance may change accordingly. This includes, but is not limited to, rain, wind, snow, ice, sunlight, ooding, earthquakes and intense heat. Wearing personal
protective equipment; safety glasses, etc., and using suitable fasteners for your application are equally as important in ensuring your installation goes smoothly and safely.
Additionally, load calculations are unavailable. Prior to construction, check with your local municipality for building code requirements in your area (consulting local
building codes is required when supporting permanent structures).
For certain structures, we recommend consulting a professional to ensure that these products are appropriate for your intended application and that the structural
components for which these products are to be used in connection with are sound.

Plaque de raccord robuste pour poteau en bois de 4 po x 4 po
Pour fixer et stabiliser un poteau nominal en bois de 4 po x 4 po sur une surface en bois.
NE PAS UTILISER SUR UNE STRUCTURE DE PLUS DE 60 PO DE HAUTEUR OU SUR UNE TERRASSE À PLUS DE 24 PO DU SOL.
PIÈCES COMPRISES :
1. Mesurer le poteau et le couper à la longueur souhaitée.
Placer la plaque au bas du poteau (le côté surélevé vers le poteau) et, en utilisant
la vis A, xer la plaque au poteau pendant que vous xez les dispositifs de xation
plus grands.
2. Maintenant que la plaque est xée, percer des trous pilotes
de 1/8 po à l’emplacement des quatre trous du bas.
Fixer la plaque au poteau à l’aide de quatre (4) vis B.
Ajouter la rondelle en caoutchouc à chaque vis avant
de les xer.
3. Pour commencer l’installation en surface, marquer et
percer des trous pilotes de 1/8 po.
Fixer la plaque à la surface en utilisant quatre (4) vis C.
Ajouter la rondelle en caoutchouc à chaque vis avant
des les xer.
S’assurer que vos vis sont entièrement enfoncées
dans la même épaisseur que celle du matériau.
IMPORTANT :
Remarque : avant de construire une structure permanente, il est important de prendre en compte l’endroit où vous vivez et votre exposition aux éléments saisonniers,
puisque la performance du produit pourrait changer en fonction de ceux-ci. Cela comprend, sans s’y limiter, la pluie, le vent, la neige, la glace, la lumière du soleil, les
