pieces apart. Be sure to turn cleaner off before

14. The“On/Off”buttonstartsandstopsthesuction
motoronthecanister.Pushthebuttongentlyand
hold until the cleaner starts or stops. The cleaner
startsinthebarefloorsetting,withthepowernozzle
brushrolloff.Pressthemiddlebutton,“Carpets/
Floors” to turn the brushroll on for carpets and off for
bare floors.

USING THE POWER NOZZLE
Thepowernozzleisidealforalltypesofcarpeting
because of the deep cleaning brushroll. Turn off
brushroll when cleaning barefloors.
Afterconnectingthepowernozzletothewandand
hose, turn on the canister and the brushroll for carpet
cleaning(page6).
Thecleaningheightcanbeadjustedbypressingon
theheightadjustmentpedallocatedontherearofthe
hood(Fig.A).Theheightindicatorwillchangefromlow
tomediumtohighasyoumaketheadjustment.(Fig.C)
Usethelowestsettingthatstillallowseasymaneuvering
on the carpet. Release the handle by pressing down on
thehandlereleasebutton(Fig.B).
Donotusethepowernozzleonthefringesofrugs
without first turning off the brushroll.
Turn off the cleaner when it is not in use. Do not let the
powernozzlestandinoneplacewhilerunningforan
extendedperiodasitcouldcausecarpetdamage.Avoid
runningthepowernozzleoverthecleaner’selectrical
cord.

insert.Thisautomaticallysealsthes-bag

preventsdustleakingout.
4. Insertanews-bag

by pushing the cardboard right
intotheendofthegrooveintheinsert.

Placethedustbagholderbackintothedust
compartmentandclosethelid.

6. Openthefilterlidbypushingthetwobuttons
simultaneouslyunderthehandle.
7. Liftoutthefilterandcheckthecoloroftheframe:
Bluecolored=Washableexhaustfilter
GreenorGraycolored=Nonwashableexhaust
filter(itmustbereplacedbyanewone).
8. When the filter has been replaced, the filter lid can
bepushedbackuntilthetwobuttonsclickin.
If the filter lid comes loose, restore it by
positioning the two hinges at the bottom and
push the filter lid back until both of the two
buttons click in.
9. Ifyourmodelisspecifiedwithabluewashablefilter
rinsetheinside(dirtyside)inlukewarmtapwater.
Tapthefilterframetoremovethewater.Repeatthe
processfourtimes.Let filter dry completly before
before replacing.
REPLACING THE MOTOR FILTER
Replacethemotorfilterwhendirty.Neverusethe
vacuumcleanerwithoutfilters.
10. Pushthefilterholderdownandpullitout.Exchange
the filter and close the lid.

8. Lecouvercledufiltrepeutêtrerepousséenplace
jusqu’àcequelesverroussouslesboutons
s’enclenchent,aprèsavoirremplacélefiltre.Si le
couvercle du filtre se détache, le restaurer en
positionnant les deux charnières au bas et poussez
le couvercle du filtre arrière jusqu'à ce que tous les
deux sur deux boutons de la po.
9. Sivotremodèleestéquipéd’unfiltrebleulavable,
rincezl’intérieur(côtésali)àl’eautièdesouslerobinet.
Pourretirersaletéincrustéeeteaudufiltre,frappez
soncadresuruncomptoirrecouvertd’uneguenille.
Répétezleprocessusàquatrereprises.Laissez sécher
complètement avant de les remplacer.
