Safety Precautions
WARNING: To prevent personal injury, read the following precautions. If the operator
cannot read English, operating instructions and safety precautions must be read and
discussed in the operatorʼs native language.

• Wear eye protection that meets ANSI Z87.1 and OSHA standards.
• This tool is designed to be an engine support bar when a transverse axle
or transmission is being repaired or removed. Do not use this tool for any
purpose other than for which it was designed.
• Do not exceed the rated capacity (1000 lbs.) of this tool.
• The vehicleʼs lip structure strength must be adequate to support the weight
of the engine; the lip structure surface must be at to prevent slippage of
the engine support bar.
• Once the support bar is positioned correctly, tighten all lock knobs, nuts,
and bolts before applying the load.
• Stay out from underneath a load which is suspended by a lifting or support
device.
Operating Instructions
1.Inspectthemountingareasofthevehicleʼslipstructuretodeterminethestrongestareainwhich
to mount the engine support bar. Note: Do not place supports on the fenders.
2. Attach the engine to the support bar by wrapping the chains around engine and attaching the
chains to the J-hooks as shown below.
3. Turn the handles on the adjustable screws to lift the engine.
