OBJECTIVE:
The object of the game is to hang or wrap the bolas around the coloured
dowels attached to the target structure.
Number of Players: 2 or 4 players
PLEASE READ this WARNING and all rules before playing Bolaball.
WARNING: ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED TO PLAY THIS GAME.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE. Only
use the product as directed and obey all of the safety rules noted
below. Store the product so that it is inaccessible and out of reach of
young children. The owner of the game is responsible for ensuring that
the warnings and rules are provided to all players. Bolas may cause
property damage. All players are responsible to ensure that Bolaball is
played safely. PLEASE PLAY THE GAME CAREFULLY. ALWAYS ERR
ON THE SIDE OF SAFETY.
Preparing to play the game of Bolaball:
1. Ensure that the playing field is flat and clear of all obstructions.
2. The target structures should be approximately 6m (20 ft.) apart from
each other.
3. Ensure that there are no objects behind the target structure. If there is a
wall behind the target structure, ensure that the wall has no windows or
that the wall is composed of materials that could not be damaged by a
bola.
4. Six bolas are used during the game, three of each colour. Note: Colours
may not be changed during the course of the game.
5. Before putting the posts into the ground, place plastic cap on top to avoid
damaging the post when hammering into the ground.
6. A white line on the bottom of the post shows the recommended depth to
insert the post into the ground. This might not be achievable due to
ground conditions; do NOT force the post down to this depth. In many
cases a lesser depth will also work.
SAFETY RULES:
1. Always obey the safety rules.
2. Ensure that the playing field is clear of all obstructions.
3. All participants and non-participants (including pets) must stay behind
and at a safe distance from the playing field (assuming a skilled player,
otherwise more distance may be required). PLEASE SEE THE
DIAGRAM ON THE BACK FOR RECOMMENDED PLAYING FIELD
CONFIGURATIONS.
4. No person should be between a player and the target structure at any
time.
5. KEEP AWAY FROM YOUNG CHILDREN.
6. All players and non-participants should always be attentive and observe
the game at ALL times in order to avoid injury caused by bolas and other
such hazards.
How to play:
1. Before beginning to play Bolaball, read and obey the SAFETY RULES.
2. TO PLAY SINGLES, opposing players throw from the same end of the
playing field, ensuring both feet always remain behind the playing
structure while throwing.
DO NOT CROSS THE PATH OF THE BOLAS WHILE IN PLAY.
3. Each player alternates throwing their bolas (Player 1, Player 2, Player 1,
etc.) until all the bolas have been thrown towards the target structure.
This is important because you can knock your opponent’s bolas off the
target structure, thereby decreasing the amount of points scored by your
opponent during that round of play.
4. After all 6 bolas have been thrown, the round is over and the points are
tallied. Only bolas that are still hanging from the target structure at the
end of the round are counted. At no point should bolas be removed from
the playing field or target structures until the round is over.
5. Once all the bolas have been thrown switch ends and continue playing
until one of the players has reached 21.
TO PLAY DOUBLES: A player from each team is stationed A SAFE
DISTANCE FROM THE TARGET STRUCTURE at the opposite end of the
playing field. After playing a round from one end, your partner will now play
from the other end until one team reaches 21.
-The recommended way to throw the bola is to grasp one end of the bola and
gently throw it in an arc toward the opposite target structure.
-To determine who starts the game, one bola of each colour must be thrown
from one target structure to the other. The player with the highest number of
points in one throw starts the game.
Scoring:
The game is won when one player or team reaches exactly 21 points.
The game is scored as follows:
Yellow (Lowest Pole) = 1 Point
Red (Middle Pole) = 2 Points
Blue (Highest Pole) = 3 Points
Example: If a player/team has 19 points and scores 3 points (22 total) the
player must subtract the points from their current score. In this case, your
new score would be 16.
NOTE: DO NOT THROW THE BOLAS AT ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE
PROVIDED TARGET STRUCTURES.

Se préparer à jouer au jeu du Bolaball :
6. Assurez-vous que le terrain de jeu est plat et dégagé de tout obstacle.
7. Les structures cibles doivent être à approximativement 6 mètres
(20 pieds ) les unes des autres.
8. Assurez-vous qu’il n’y a aucun objet derrière la structure cible. S’il y a un
mur derrière la structure cible, assurez-vous que le mur n’a pas de fenêtres ou

4. Six bolas sont utilisées au cours d’une partie. Trois de chaque couleur.
Remarque: les couleurs ne peuvent pas être changées au cours de la partie.
RÈGLES DE SÉCURITÉ :

10. Assurez-vous que le terrain de jeu est dégagé de tout obstacle.
11. Tous les participants et tous les non participants (y compris les
animaux de compagnie) doivent rester derrière, à une distance
sécuritaire du terrain de jeu (dans l’hypothèse qu’il s’agit d’un joueur
chevronné, sinon une distance plus importante peut être
nécessaire). VEUILLEZ CONSULTER LE SCHÉMA AU DOS POUR
LES CONFIGURATIONS RECOMMANDÉES DU TERRAIN DE
JEU.
12. Aucune personne ne doit se trouver entre un joueur et la structure
cible à aucun moment.
13. GARDEZ HORS DE LA PORTÉE DES JEUNES ENFANTS.
14. Tous les joueurs ainsi que les non participants doivent toujours être
attentifs et observer la partie en TOUT temps afin d’éviter les
blessures causées par des bolas mal lancées et d’autres dangers
similaires.
Comment jouer :
1. Avant de commencer à jouer au Bolaball, lisez et respectez les RÈGLES DE
SÉCURITÉ.
2. POUR JOUER PAR ÉQUIPES D’UN, les joueurs adverses lancent à partir
de la même extrémité du terrain de jeu en s’assurant que leurs deux pieds
restent à l’extérieur de la structure de jeu lors du lancer.
NE TRAVERSEZ PAS LA TRAJECTOIRE DES BOLAS PENDANT LA PARTIE.
3. Chaque joueur lance ses bolas à tour de rôle, de la manière suivante joueur
1, joueur 2, joueur 1, etc. jusqu’à ce que toutes les bolas aient été lancées
vers la structure cible. C’est important parce que vous pouvez cogner dans
les bolas de votre adversaire et les faire tomber de la structure cible, et par
conséquent, réduire le nombre de points marqués par votre adversaire
pendant cette manche.
4. Lorsque les 6 bolas ont été lancées, la manche est terminée et les points
sont comptés. Seules les bolas qui sont toujours suspendues à la structure
cible à la fin de la manche sont comptées. À aucun moment, les bolas ne
doivent être enlevées du terrain de jeu ou des structures cibles jusqu’à ce
que la manche soit terminée.
5. Lorsque toutes les bolas ont été lancées, changez d’extrémité du terrain et
continuez à jouer jusqu’à ce qu’un des joueurs atteigne 21.
POUR JOUER PAR ÉQUIPES DE DEUX : un joueur de chaque équipe se place à
UNE DISTANCE SÉCURITAIRE DE LA STRUCTURE CIBLE aux extrémités
opposées du terrain de jeu. Après avoir joué une manche à une extrémité, votre
partenaire jouera maintenant à l’autre extrémité jusqu’à ce qu’une équipe atteigne 21.
6. La manière recommandée de lancer la bola est de saisir un bout de la bola
et de la lancer doucement en arc vers la structure cible opposée.
7. Afin de déterminer qui commence la partie, une bola de chaque couleur doit
être lancée d’une structure cible vers l’autre. Le joueur ayant les points les
plus élevés pour ce lancer commence la partie.
Pointage :
La partie est gagnée lorsqu'un joueur ou une équipe atteint exactement
21 points. Les points sont calculés de la manière suivante :
Jaune (barre inférieure) = 1 point
Rouge (barre médiane) = 2 points
Bleu (barre supérieure) = 3 points
Exemple : si un joueur / une équipe a 19 points et marque 3 points (22
au total), le joueur doit soustraire les points de son score actuel. Dans ce
cas, votre nouveau score sera de 16.
REMARQUE : NE LANCEZ PAS LES BOLAS VERS AUTRE CHOSE
QUE LES STRUCTURES CIBLES FOURNIES.

JEUNES ENFANTS. PEUT CAUSER DES BLESSURES GRAVES OU
