IMPORTANT: If you are attaching the CLOSET ROD KIT to this unit and to a side wall, the unit must be 27"- 47.5" from the side wall.
NOTE: Be sure the unit is level. If it is not, make adjustments by turning the ADJUSTABLE GLIDES counter-clockwise to lower the
unit and clockwise to raise the unit.
Locate and mark the wall stud locations on your wall. If you cannot locate a stud in your wall, skip over the next paragraph to the
WALL ANCHOR installation.
Use a BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (DD) into the top of the unit and a BLACK 1-7/8" PAN HEAD SCREW (CC) into the
stud in your closet wall. Be sure to allow the distance of any baseboards in your closet. There are no holes provided in the unit to attach
the SAFETY BRACKET (R). Use a little extra force while turning the BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (DD) into the TOP (C).
WALL ANCHOR INSTALLATION
While holding the SAFETY BRACKET (R) against the wall directly above the TOP (C), mark with a pencil the location through the
hole in the SAFETY BRACKET onto the wall to drill for the WALL ANCHOR (S).
On the marked location, drill a 1/4" hole into the wall. Turn the WALL ANCHOR (S) into the hole until it is flush. Next position the
SAFETY BRACKET over the WALL ANCHOR and turn the BLACK 1-7/8"FLAT HEAD SCREW (CC) into the WALL ANCHOR.
Be sure to allow the distance of any baseboards in your closet. There are no holes provided in the top of the unit. Use a little extra
force while turning the BLACK 9/16" LARGE HEAD SCREW (DD) through the BRACKET and into the TOP.
Repeat this step to fasten the remaining SAFETY BRACKETS along the top of the UPPER SECTION and ENDS of the LOWER
SECTION.

Unpack the CLOSET KIT (N).
Fasten a ROD HANGER to your unit at the desired height and 8-3/4" from the screw hole to the wall. Use two BLACK 9/16" FLAT
HEAD SCREWS provided in the CLOSET KIT (N).
Fasten another ROD HANGER to the side wall at the same height off the floor and distance away from the back wall that you fastened
the first ROD HANGER to your unit.
While holding the ROD HANGER in the correct location on the wall, place a mark onto the side wall with your pencil through the two
holes in the ROD HANGER.
On the marked locations, drill a 1/4" hole into the wall. Turn two WALL ANCHORS (S) into the holes until it is flush. Next position
the ROD HANGER over the two WALL ANCHORS and turn two BLACK 1-7/8" SCREWS (CC) through the ROD HANGER and
into the WALL ANCHORS.
Place the RODS onto the ROD HANGERS by inserting the holes in the ends of the RODS over the posts on the ROD HANGERS.
Pull down firmly.
