Do not use the appliance for other than its

• To protect against ﬁre, electric shock, and injury

to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the

Cooktop in water or other liquid. Do not directly

rinse this Cooktop under water. Do not spill water,

soup, or other liquids into the internal parts of the

Cooktop.

• Do not handle the plug with wet hands. This could

result in electric shock.

• Unplug the power cord by holding the plug, never

by pulling the cord.

• Do not cook on or clean a broken cooktop. Cleaning

solutions or cooking spills may penetrate the broken

cooktop and create a risk of electric shock.

• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is

wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric

shock, this plug is intended to ﬁt into a polarized

2 General Information

The Cooktop is able to meet various kinds of cooking

demands by electromagnetic heating. It is thermally

eﬃcient, safe and reliable, and easy to clean.

All the test and authentication of this product is

based on the SUS430 cookware [bottom diameter

6 in. (152 mm).

Installation Induction Cooktop

4 Installation



WARNING: ELECTRICAL SHOCK AND/OR

FIRE HAZARD. Failure to obey the following

warnings could result in death or serious

injury.

• Installer: This Cooktop is provided with a 120 V AC

power cord and must be plugged into a 120 V AC

receptacle that is accessible to the end user.

• Dometic recommends that the installer provide a

convenience disconnect switch, within 3  (0.9 m) of

the induction cooker, that disconnects the 120 V AC

power to the Cooktop when not in use.

• When using the Cooktop, place it horizontally and

allow at least 4.7 in. (12cm) of free space between

the sides and back of the Cooktop and the wall. Do

not use the Cooktop in narrow spaces. To avoid

overheating, do not cover the ventilation openings.

• Use a dedicated and high-quality power outlet with a

high-power rating equal to or above 13.2 A.

• Do not use poor quality outlets or share the power

outlet with electrical appliances with high-power

ratings, such as air conditioners, electrical stoves, etc.



WARNING: PROJECTILE HAZARD.

This Cooktop must be permanently installed in the

countertop with glue, silicone, or other positive

securement means. Failure to secure the Cooktop

permanently could result in the Cooktop becoming

airborne in the occupant space of the vehicle in the

event of an accident, creating a risk of serious blunt

force injury to, or death of, any persons therein.

Failure to obey this warning could result in death or

• Remove any protective ﬁlm that may still be on your

ceramic plate.

4.1 Assembling the Induction

Cooktop

This section will explain how to properly assemble the

Cooktop prior to installation.

1. Carefully turn the Cooktop upside down.

2. Push the fan cover connectors into the holes next to

the fans until you hear a click.

The connectors are diﬀerent sizes. If they don’t ﬁt in

the holes, turn the fan cover 180°.

• Unplug the cooker from the outlet when not in use.

Allow it to cool before putting on or taking oﬀ parts.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged

cord or plug, or aer the appliance malfunctions

or has been damaged in any manner. Return the

appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for

examination, repair, or adjustment.

• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or

counter or touch hot surfaces.

• Do not use water on grease ﬁres. Smother ﬁre or

ﬂame or use dry chemical or foam type extinguisher.

• Wear proper apparel. Loose-ﬁtting or hanging

garments should never be work while using the

appliance.

• Do not operate this appliance by means of an

external timer or separate remote-control system.



• Shore power is the best option for the Dometic

Induction Cooktop.

• If a generator is used, it must have a pure sine wave

output and a minimum power rating of 2000 W.

• The Dometic Induction Cooktop should not be used

with inverting power supplies.



WARNING: FIRE AND/OR BURN HAZARD.

Failure to obey the following warnings could

result in death or serious injury:

• Flammable materials should not be stored near

surface units.

• Never leave surface units unattended at high heat

settings. Boil over causes smoking and greasy

spillovers that may ignite.

Operation Induction Cooktop

• Use dry potholders only. Moist or damp potholders

on hot surfaces may result in burns from steam. Do

not let potholder touch hot heating elements. Do

not use a towel or other bulky cloth.

• To avoid aﬀecting product performance and to

prevent injury, do not heat empty pots. When in

use, do not leave the appliance without supervision

for extended periods. When leaving the appliance

without supervision, make sure that there is enough

water in the pot.

• Use the proper pan size. This appliance is equipped

with one or more surface units of diﬀerent size. Select

utensils having ﬂat bottoms large enough to cover the

surface unit heating element. The use of undersized

utensils will expose a portion of the heating element

to direct contact and may result in ignition of clothing.

Proper relationship of utensil to burner will also

improve eﬃciency.

• To reduce the risk of burns, ignition of ﬂammable

materials, and spillage due to unintentional contact

with the utensil, the handle of a utensil should be

positioned so that it is turned inward and does not

extend over adjacent surface units.

• Do not heat iron items on the Cooktop to avoid

danger caused by high temperatures.

• To avoid accidents, do not place the Cooktop, when

in use, on a gas stove. (The magnetic lines can heat

the metal parts of the gas stove.)

• To avoid danger, do not place paper, aluminum foil,

cloth, or other unsuitable articles onto the Cooktop

heating plate for indirect heating.

• When using the Cooktop, do not put it on any metal

platform (such as iron, stainless steel, or aluminum),

or place a non-metal pad less than 4.7 in. (12 cm)

thick on the heating plate.

• Unplug the power cord from the outlet aer use

to avoid ﬁre and/or damage to the electrical

components.

• Do not use the Cooktop on carpet, a tablecloth, or

thin paper to avoid blocking the air inlet opening or

air outlet opening, which results in inﬂuencing heat

emission.

• Do not use the Cooktop near a gas stove, kerosene

stove, gas cooker, or other heat source, or in any

space with an open ﬁre or an environment with high

temperatures.



CAUTION: BURN HAZARD. Failure to obey

the following caution could result in minor or

moderate injury.

• Do not touch surface units or areas near units.

Surface units may be hot even though they are dark

in color. Areas near surface units may become hot

enough to cause burns. During and aer use, do not

touch or let clothing or other ﬂammable materials

contact surface units or areas near units until they

have had suﬃcient time to cool.

• Extreme caution must be used when moving an

appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

• Be cautious when opening any lid while cooking.

• Do not place metallic objects such as knives, forks,

spoons and lids on the Cooktop since they can get

hot.

• To avoid injuries such as scalding, do not let children

operate the appliance alone.

• When operating the appliance or aer moving the

pot, the cooking area will remain hot for a period of

time. Do not touch it. Be careful of scalding caused

by the high temperature.

5.1 Using the Touch Controls

• The controls respond to touch, so you do not need to

apply any pressure.

• Use the ball of your ﬁnger, not the tip of your ﬁnger.

• You will hear a beep each time a touch is registered.

• Make sure the controls are always clean, dry, and that

there is no object (e.g., a utensil or a cloth) covering

them.

• Even a thin ﬁlm of water may make the controls

diﬃcult to operate.

5.2 Plugging In the Induction

Cooktop

• Aer the power supply is connected, a beep will

sound. The LED indicator ﬂashes for 1 second.

5.3 Turning the Induction Cooktop

• Aer pressing the “On/Oﬀ” button, the buzzer will

ring once. The induction heater is ready for heating.

• Aer pressing the “On/Oﬀ” button, if there is no

operation for 10 seconds, the induction cooker will

switch oﬀ automatically.

• Aer pressing the Heating button, if there is no

proper pot on the ceramic plate, the induction

cooker will not heat up. The alarm will sound and

the LED will display a “U” symbol to indicate that a

pot is required. Ten seconds later, it will switch oﬀ

automatically.

5.4 Putting the Pot on the Ceramic

Plate

• Make sure the air vents are not blocked and keep

utensils away from the immediate area around the

ceramic plate.

• Make sure the cookware that has food or liquid is

placed in the center of the ceramic plate.

5.5 Using Temperature Mode

Press TEMP to enter temperature mode, then press “+”

or “–” to select the temperature you want.

Press HEAT to enter heating mode, then press “+” or “–”

to select the wattage you want.

5.7 Using the Timer

Use timer mode with temperature or heat mode to select

how long you want the Cooktop to run.

1. While in temperature mode, press TIMER. The

“timer” indicator will light up and “0:00” will blink on

the screen.

2. Press “+” or “–” to adjust the time duration. You can

set the timer for one minute to three hours.

Press the adjustment buttons brieﬂy to change the

time by one minute increments. Press and hold to

adjust by 10 minute increments.

3. When the countdown is done, the Cooktop will beep

until you press any key to turn oﬀ the timer.

5.8 Locking the Control Panel

• To lock the Cooktop, press “+” and “–”. The lock

indicator will light up.

• To unlock the Cooktop, press “+” and “–”. The lock

indicator will turn oﬀ.

While locked, removing a pan or pressing the ON/

OFF button will turn the Cooktop oﬀ.

5.9 Switching the Induction

When the operating time is over, the induction cooker

switches oﬀ automatically.

If switch-oﬀ is needed in advance, press the “On/Oﬀ”

button to turn the appliance oﬀ.

7 Compatible Cookware

• Induction-compatible cookware contains

ferromagnetic materials. In other words, it contains

iron or has a layer with magnetic properties.

• Cookware must have a ﬂat,smooth bottom with the

diameter more than 5 in. (127 mm) and less than

8 in. (203 mm).

• Aer the ﬁrst use, some white spots will appear at the

bottom of the pot. This is normal. Please pour some

vinegar into the pot, heat it at about 140°F – 176°F

(60°C – 80°C), and then wipe the spots away with a

brush.

• Aluminum, copper or glass cookware will not work

unless they have a layer on the bottom with magnetic

properties.

• If the pot is removed, the induction cooker will

stop heating immediately. A buzzer sounds for

10 seconds, then it will go into standby mode

automatically.

To tell if a pot or pan is induction-compatible, hold

a magnet to the bottom. If the magnet clings, the

cookware will work on an induction Cooktop.

6 Cleaning and Maintaining

Failure to obey the following warnings could

• This Cooktop should be kept clean during and aer

use. Protect the Cooktop from infestation, dirt, and

humidity. Avoid letting anything fall into the interior of

the Cooktop, which could result in a short circuit of

the electrical components. Do not handle the plug

with wet hands. This could result in electric shock.

• To protect against ﬁre, electric shock, and injury

to persons, do not immerse cord, plugs, or the

Cooktop in water or other liquid. Do not directly

rinse this Cooktop under water. Do not spill water,

soup, or other liquids into the internal parts of the

Cooktop.

WARNING: FIRE, AND/OR BURN HAZARD.

Failure to obey the following warnings could

result in death or serious injury:

• Use glass cleaner and a so cloth to clean the

Cooktop. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasives.

Clean the cooktop regularly to prevent dirt from

getting into the fan, which could inﬂuence the normal

operation of the appliance.

• Periodically check to make sure that no objects

are obstructing the inlet(s) under the Cooktop.

Do not block or insert any foreign object into the

air ventilation opening or air entry port. To avoid

blocking the air inlet opening or air outlet opening,

do not use the Cooktop on a carpet, tablecloth, or

thin paper.

• Be careful when you clean the Cooktop. If a wet

sponge or cloth is used to wipe spills on a hot

cooking surface, be careful to avoid steam burn. Also,

some cleaners may produce noxious fumes if applied

to a hot surface.

Before cleaning, please switch oﬀ the appliance ﬁrst and

then disconnect the power plug from the power outlet.

Wait until the cooker plate of the induction cooker is not

hot, then you may start cleaning.

Aer using the induction cooker for a long time, the

opening of air inlet/air outlet will pile up with dust or

other dirt. Please wipe it with a so dry cloth. Dust in the

air inlet and outlet can be cleaned by using a so brush

or a mini vacuum cleaner.

Please do not rinse it with water.
