WARNING
1.Never leave the appliance unattended. Keep children and pets away from
the appliance at all times.
2.The use of alcohol, prescription or non-prescription drugs may impair the
consumer's ability to properly assemble or safely operate the appliance.
3.This appliance shall not be used on or in any apartment or condominium
balcony or deck.
4.This appliance is for OUTDOOR USE ONLY. DO NOT use in building,
garage or any other enclosed area.
5.This appliance is not intended to be installed in or on a boat. This appliance
is not intended to be installed in or on recreational vehicles.
6.This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater.
7.Keep the fuel supply hose away from any heated surface.
8.Do not move the appliance when in use. Allow the cooking vessel to cool to
115°F (46) before moving or storing.
LP Tank
LP tank valve must have:

Never leave the appliance unattended.Keep children and pets away from the

Avoid bumping or impacting the appliance to prevent spillage.
The safety relief valve on the LP tank could activate the releasing of gas and cause
an intense fire with risk of death or serious injury. Therefore, follow instructions
bulleted below exactly.
(A)Do not store a spare LP-gas cylinder under or near this appliance.
(B)Never fill the cylinder beyond 80 percent full, and
(C)lf the instructions in (A) and (B) are not followed exactly, a fire causing death or
serious injury may occur.
This appliance will be hot during and after use. Use insulated oven mitts or gloves for
protection from hot surfaces or splatter from cooking liquids.
Appliance shall not be used for commercial cooking.
LP tank from specified operating position.
Always close LP tank valve and remove coupling nut before moving.
Never operate appliance with LP tank out of correct position specified in assembly
instructions.
This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater.
If you see, smell, or hear escaping gas, immediately get away from the LP tank/
appliance and call your fire department.
All spare LP tanks must have safety caps installed on the LP tank outlet.
Turn OFF all control knobs and LP tank valve. Turning coupling nut counterclockwise by hand only-do not use tools
to disconnect. Place dust cap on cylinder valve outlet whenever the cylinder is not in use. Only install the type of
dust cap on the cylinder valve outlet that is provided with the cylinder valve. Other types of caps or plugs may result
in leakage of propane.”
A disconnected LP tank in storage or being transported must have a dust cap
installed as shown. Do not store an LP tank in enclosed spaces such as a carport,
garage, porch, covered patio or other building. Never leave an LP tank inside a
vehicle which may become overheated by the sun.
Do not store LP tanks in an area while children play.
Purchase LP tanks only with these required measurements: 12M(30.5cm)(diameter)x18H(45.7cm)(tall) with 20lb.
(9kg) capacity maximum.
Type 1 outlet compatible with regulator or appliance.
Safety relief valve.
LP tank must be arranged for vapor withdrawal and include collar to protect LP tank valve.
UL listed Overfill Protection Device (OPD). This OPD safety feature is identified by a
unique trianglar hand wheel. Use only tanks equipped with this type of valve.
The LP-gas supply cylinder to be used must be constructed and marked in accordance with the specifications for
LP-gas cylinders of the US Department of Transportation (DOT) or the National Standard of Canada, CAN/CSA-B339,
Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods.
The LP tank used with your appliance must meet the following requirements:
Use a clean paint brush and 50/50 soap and water solution.
Use mild soap and water. Do not use household cleaning agents. Damage to gas train components can result.
Brush soapy solution onto all metal seams and entire valve area.
If “growing" bubbles appear, do not use or move the LP tank. Contact an LP gas supplier
or your fire department.
LP gas is non toxic, odorless and colorless when produced. For your safety, LP gas has been given an odor
(similar to rotten eggs) so that it can be smelled.
LP gas is highly flammable and may ignite uncpectedly when mixed with air.
Use only licensed and experienced dealers.
LP dealer must purge tanks before filling.
Do not release liquid propane (LP) gas into the atmosphere. This is a hazardous practice.
Always keep new and exchanged LP tanks in upright postion during use,transit or storage.
Leak test new and exchanged LP tanks BEFORE connecting to appliance.
Leak test must be repreated each time LP tank is exchanged or refilled.
Do not smoke during leak test.
Do not use an open flame to check for the gas leaks.
LP tank must be leak checked outdoors in well-ventilated area, always from open flames to sparks.
1.Place LP tank on a secure, level, and stable surface.
2.Turn control knob to the OFF position.
3.Turn LP tank OFF by turning hand wheel clockwise to a FULL STOP.
4.Remove the protective cap from the LP tank valve. Always use dust cap and strap
supplied with valve.
NOTE: If you cannot complete connection, disconnect regulator and repeat step 5and 6. If you are still unable to
complete the connection, do not use this regulator!
Disconnecting Regualtor to the LP Tank
1.Turn control knob of regulator to the OFF position.
2.Turn LP tank OFF by turning hand wheel clockwise to a full stop.
3.Turn the coupling nut counterclockwise to loosen the connector. Loose by hand only--do not use tools.
When disconnected, the regulator should be hung on the hook attached to the appliance.
5.Hold regulator, insert nipple (B) into LP tank valve. Hand tighten
coupling nut, holding regulator in a straight line (C) with LP tank
valve so as not to cross thread the connection.
6.Turn the coupling nut clockwise to tighten to a full solid stop.
The regulator will seal on the back-check feature in the LP tank
valve, resulting in some resistance. An additional one-half to three
quarters turn is required to complete connection.TIGHT BY HAND ONLY- DO NOT USE TOOLS.
To remove gas from LP tank, contact an LP dealer or call a local FIRE DEPARTMENT for assistance.Check
the telephine directory under“ GAS CompaniesM for nearest certified LP dealers.
Many retailers that sell appliances offer you the option of replacing your empty LP tanks through an exchange
service,use only those reputable exchange companies that inspect,precision fill,test and certify their cylinders.
Exchange your tank only for an OPD safety feature-equipped tanks as described in the “LP tank” section of
this manual.
Dealer should NEVER fill LP tank more than 80% of LP tank volume. Volume of propane in tanks will vary
by temperature.
A frosted-covered regulator indicates gas overfill. Immediately close LP tank valve and call LP gas dealer
for assistance.

Connecting Regulator to the LP Tank
Do not use a POL transport plug(A) (plastic part
with external threads)! It will defeat the safety
feature of the valve .
Do not insert any tool or foreign objects into the valve outlet or safety relief valve.
You may damage the valve and cause a leak. Leaking propane may result in
exposion, fire, severe personal injury, or death.
Never attempt to attach this appliance to the self-contained LP system of a camper,
trailer or a motor home.
Turn off gas at supply cylinder when not in use.
Do not use appliance until leak checked.
If leak is detected at any time, STOP.
If you cannot stop a gas leak, immediately close LP tank valve, leave area of
appliance, and call LP gas supplier or your fire department!
The pressure regulator and hose assembly supplied with the appliance must be
used. Replacement pressure regulator and hose assemblies must be those specified
by the appliamce manufacturer.
Leak Testing Valves, Hoses and Regulator
1.Turn all control knob(s) to OFF.
2.Be sure regulator is tightly connected to LP tanks.
3.Completely open LP tank valve by turning hand wheel counterclockwise. If you hear a rushing sound,
turn gas off immediately. There is a major leak at the connection. Correct before proceeding.
4.Brush soapy solution onto indicated connections shown below in A, B and C.
5.If "growing" bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close LP tank valve immediately and retighten connections.
If leaks cannot be stopped, do not try to repair. Call for replacement parts.
Use only replacement parts specified by manufacturer.
6.Always close LP tank valve after performing tank leak test by turning hand wheel clockwise.
If burner does not light OR if burner flame is accidentally extinguished, turn knob to OFF,
wait 5 minutes, try again. If the burner does not ignite with valve open OR if burner flame
accidentally extinguished after lighting, gas will continue to flow out of the burner and
could accidentally ignite with risk of injury.
Checking and cleaning burner/venture tubes for insect nests. A clogged tube can lead to
fire beneath the appliances. Spiders' nests or wraps' mud inside the burner may cause
fire at the air damper. If a fire occurs, immediately turn off gas supply at LP tank valve.

MANUALLY LIGHTING THE BURNERS WITH THE MATCH LIGHTING
STICK
1Put the control knob in the OFF position.
2After lighting the match, put it on the burner pipe fitting.
3T urn on the control knob for 5 seconds to the temperature you need.
4Put the control knob in the OFF position.
5lf the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the burner control knob to
"OFF".
6W ait 5 minutes for the gas to clear, and try again.
7When lit, turn the control knob to the desired heat setting.
Correct care and maintenance will keep your appliance operating smoothly. Clean regularly as determined
by the amount of use. NOTE: Clean the entire appliance each year and tighten all hardware on a regular
basis (1-2 times a year or more depending on usage). Cleaning should be done where detergents won't
harm patio, lawn or the like.
Suggested Cleaning Materials:
All cleaning and maintenance should only be done when the appliance is cool
self-cleaning oven. The extreme heat will damage the finish.
