This appliance is intended to be used in household

and similar applications such as:

• Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofﬁ ces and other

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance must be grounded. Grounding

reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an

escape wire for the electrical current.

This appliance has a cord that has a grounding

wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be

plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded.

If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be

replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall

outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage

and frequency the appliance is designed for.

WARNING - Improper use of the grounding

plug can result in a risk of electric shock.

Consult a qualiﬁ ed electrician or service agent

if the grounding instructions are not completely

understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the

appliance is properly grounded.

Do not connect your appliance to extension

cords or together with another appliance in the

same wall outlet. Do not splice the power cord.

Do not under any circumstances cut or remove the

third ground prong from the power cord. Do not

use extension cords or ungrounded (two prongs)

adapters.

If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or

similar qualiﬁ ed person in order to avoid hazard.

LOCATION

• Two people should be used when moving the

appliance. Place the appliance on a ﬂ oor that

is strong enough to support it when it is fully

loaded.

• Remove interior and exterior packaging prior to

installation. Wipe the outside of the appliance

with a soft, dry cloth and the inside with a

lukewarm wet cloth.

• Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight or

near sources of heat, such as a stove or heater,

as this can increase electrical consumption.

Extreme cold ambient temperatures may also

cause the appliance to perform improperly.

• Do not use the appliance near water, for

example, in a wet basement or near a sink.

• This appliance is intended for indoor household

and garage use only. Freezers are tested to

perform in temperatures ranging from 0°F to

110°F (-17°C to 43°C). It is not designed for

outside installation, including anywhere that

is not temperature controlled such as porches,

vehicles, etc.

• Before connecting the appliance to a power

source, let it stand upright for approximately

6 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a

malfunction in the cooling system from handling

during transportation.

• This appliance is 54.6 cm (21.5 inches) wide by

143 cm (56.3 inches) high by 56.6 cm (22.3

inches) deep.

• Allow 12.7 cm (5 inches) of space between the

back, sides and top of the appliance and all

adjacent walls.

• This appliance is intended for free-standing

installation only and is not intended to be

built into a cabinet or counter. Building in this

appliance can cause it to malfunction.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

This appliance can be used as a refrigerator or

a freezer. The temperature can be controlled by

setting the thermostat dial inside the cabinet.

Refrigerator Use

To use the appliance as a refrigerator, set the

thermostat dial in the “REFRIGERATOR” range.

Using this setting allows the appliance to store fresh

food and beverages. The internal temperature will

be between 0 - 10°C (32 - 50°F).

There are refrigerant lines in the cabinet walls that

will get very cold. When using the appliance as a

refrigerator, keep food items away from the cabinet

walls to avoid freezing food.

Freezer Use

To use the appliance as a freezer, set the thermostat

dial in the “FREEZER” range. Using this setting

allows the appliance to store frozen foods and ice.

The internal temperature will be between -12 -

-24°C (10.4 - -11.2°F).

Do not place liquid items in sealed bottles or

containers into the appliance when it is being used

as a freezer to avoid damage cause by expansion

and cracking of the container.

Fast Freeze

Setting the thermostat dial to “FAST FREEZE”

will cause the compressor to run continuously.

The internal temperature will be roughly -28°C

(-18.4°F). “FAST FREEZE” can be used to quickly

lower the temperature inside the freezer so contents

will freeze faster. Do not run “FAST FREEZE” for

more than 24 hours.

IMPORTANT

This appliance is considered “Garage Ready” if it

is being used as a freezer. If the thermostat dial is

set in the “REFRIGERATOR” range, the appliance

should only be used in climate controlled spaces.

Conversion Notes

When using the appliance as a refrigerator,

condensation may form on the walls and shelves.

This is normal and does not impact the operation of

the appliance. This condensed water can be wiped

with a dry cloth to remove it. Adjusting the levelling

legs to a taller position can help to angle the cabinet

backwards and cause condensed water to ﬂ ow out

the defrost drain on the interior of the cabinet.

If the appliance has been used as a freezer and

will be converted to use as a refrigerator, a large

amount of condensation may form on the cabinet

walls. Please check that all food items have been

removed to avoid unwanted food defrosting. Defrost

and clean the appliance before resuming use to

avoid water accumulation inside the cabinet.

Other Important Notes

• MIN indicates the warmest setting.

• MAX indicates the coldest setting.

• Setting the thermostat dial in the middle of the

MIN-MAX range should be sufﬁ cient for regular

home use.

• Setting the thermostat to “FAST FREEZE” or

MAX in the “FREEZER” range will cause the

compressor to run continuously and will make

the interior very cold. It is not recommended to

run the appliance at this setting for long periods

of time.

• The temperature inside the appliance can

vary based on ambient room temperature,

the frequency that the door is opened and the

amount of fresh food that has recently been

added.

• Do not overload the appliance as this can affect

performance. Do not freeze large quantities of

fresh food at the same time.

• The door may be difﬁ cult to open immediately

after closing it. This is normal and is due to the

pressure difference between the cold interior

of the appliance and the warm air that has

just entered the appliance when the door was

opened. The pressure will equalize within a few

minutes. If the door is especially difﬁ cult to open,

wait 5 minutes to allow the pressure to equalize

and then try again.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

DOOR REVERSAL INSTRUCTIONS

Ensure the appliance is unplugged before changing

the door swing. If laying the appliance down, place

it on a blanket or similar item to protect ﬂ ooring and

the ﬁ nish of the appliance.

If the appliance is placed on its back or side for any

length of time during this process, it must be allowed

to remain upright for 6 hours before plugging it in

to avoid damage to the internal components.

1. Remove the hinge cover and upper hinge from

the top right side of the cabinet. Remove the

screw hole covers from the top left side of the

cabinet. Remove the door from the cabinet

2. Remove the adjustable foot and screw from

the bottom left side of the cabinet. Remove

the adjustable foot, lower right hinge and

door stopper from the bottom right side of the

cabinet. The lower left hinge can be found in

the accessory bag. Install the lower left hinge,

the door stopper and the adjustable foot on

the bottom left side of the cabinet. Install the

adjustable foot and screw on the bottom right

side of the cabinet. Save the lower right hinge

for future use.

3. Install the door on the cabinet. Install the upper

hinge on the top left side of the cabinet. Install

the screw hole covers on the top right side of the

cabinet. Ensure the rubber gasket is making a

good seal with the cabinet all the way around

the door before tightening the screws on the

upper hinge.

LEVELING INSTRUCTIONS

There are two adjustable legs on the bottom of the

appliance that can be turned up or down to ensure

that the appliance is level. It is important that the

appliance is level to minimize noise and vibration.

Move the appliance to its ﬁ nal location. Turn the

leveling leg counter-clockwise as far as it will go,

until the top of the foot is touching the bottom of the

cabinet. Slowly turn the leveling leg clockwise until

the appliance is level.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

CLEANING

• Ensure the appliance is unplugged before

cleaning.

• Clean the inside and outside of the appliance

with a soft, damp cloth and some mild

detergent.

• It is important to keep the area where the door

seals against the cabinet clean to ensure a tight

seal. Clean this area with a soapy cloth. Rinse

with a damp cloth and dry.

• Do not use cleaners containing ammonia or

alcohol as these can damage the appearance

of the appliance. Never use any commercial or

abrasive cleaners or sharp objects on any part

of the appliance.

• Allow the interior of the appliance to completely

dry before plugging it back in and returning

food items.

DEFROST

This appliance should be manually defrosted

approximately every 6 months or whenever the

layer of frost reaches 6 mm (1/4”) thick.

Protect ﬂ ooring by putting towels or a pan under the

appliance in case of leaking. Check the appliance

frequently during defrosting. Remove all food,

unplug the appliance and leave the door open.

Allow the frost to melt and leave the appliance

unplugged with the door open until the interior is

dry.

POWER FAILURE

Most power failures are corrected within a few

hours and should not affect the temperature of your

appliance if you minimize the number of times the

lid is opened. If the power is going to be off for

a longer period of time, take the proper steps to

protect your contents. Wait 3 to 5 minutes before

attempting to restart the refrigerator if operation

has been interrupted.

VACATION

You may leave the appliance operating during

vacations of less than three weeks. If the appliance

will not be used for several months, remove all items

and unplug the appliance. Defrost, clean and dry

the interior thoroughly. To prevent odor and mold

growth, leave the door open slightly, blocking it

open if necessary.

ENERGY SAVING TIP

The appliance should be located in the coolest area

of the room, away from heat producing appliances,

and out of direct sunlight. Do not overload the unit

or block any ventilation openings.

MOVING

• Remove all items and ensure the interior of the

appliance is clean and dry.

• Tape the lid shut.

• Be sure the appliance stays secure in the upright

position during transportation.

• Protect the outside of the appliance with a

blanket or similar item.

• If the appliance is placed on its back or side

during transportation, upon reaching the

destination, allow it to remain in its operating

position for 6 hours to reduce the possibility of a

malfunction in the cooling system.

DISPOSAL

This appliance may not be treated as regular

household waste, it should be taken to the

appropriate waste collection point for recycling

of electrical components. For information on local

waste collection points, contact your local waste

removal agency or government ofﬁ ce. Disposal of

this appliance should be in accordance with federal

and local regulations.

Why is frost and ice

building up on the cabinet

walls?

The refrigerant lines run through the cabinet walls and will get very cold;

this can cause frosting on the cabinet walls. The amount of frost is affected

by ambient humidity, the frequency that the door is opened and warm food

being added to the cabinet. If the frost becomes more than 6 mm (1/4”)

thick, please see the defrosting instructions to remove it.

The appliance is making a

gurgling noise; why? This noise is completely normal. The refrigerant inside the appliance will

make a gurgling noise as it changes from a liquid to a gas and back again.

What is the electrical

rating? This information can be found on the rating place located on the back or

side of the cabinet.

How much does it cost

to run the appliance per

year?

Can I use an extension

cord? No, an extension cord may not be used

Can I use this appliance in

a garage? Yes, this appliance is considered “Garage Ready” when it is being used as

a freezer. If the appliance is being used as a refrigerator, it should only be

I am having trouble

opening the lid; why? The appliance door may be difﬁ cult to open immediately after closing it.

This is normal and is due to the pressure difference between the cold interior

of the appliance and the warm air that has just entered the appliance when

it was opened. The pressure will equalize within a few minutes.

depot. Any appliance requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service”, will be the consumer’s

responsibility to transport at their own expense to the original point of purchase or a service depot for repair. If the

appliance is installed in a location that is 100 kilometers (62 miles) or more from the nearest service center, it must

be delivered to the nearest authorized Danby Service Depot by the purchaser.

Transportation charges to and from the service location are not protected by this warranty and are the

responsibility of the purchaser.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À LA TERRE

Cet appareil doit être mis à la terre. La mise à

la terre réduit le risque de choc électrique en

fournissant un ﬁ l d’échappement pour le courant

électrique.

Cet appareil possède un cordon doté d’un ﬁ l de

mise à la terre avec une ﬁ che à 3 broches. Le

cordon d’alimentation doit être branché sur une

prise correctement mise à la terre. Si la sortie

est une prise murale à 2 broches, elle doit être

remplacée par une prise murale à 3 broches

correctement mise à la terre. La plaque signalétique

en série indique la tension et la fréquence

auxquelles l’appareil est conçu.

AVERTISSEMENT - Une utilisation incorrecte de la

EMPLACEMENT

• Deux personnes doivent être utilisées pour

déplacer l’appareil. Placez l’appareil sur un sol

sufﬁ samment solide pour le supporter lorsqu’il

est complètement chargé.

• Retirer l’emballage intérieur et extérieur avant

l’installation. Essuyez l’extérieur de l’appareil

avec un chiffon doux et sec et l’intérieur avec un

chiffon humide tiède.

• Ne placez pas l’appareil à la lumière directe

du soleil ou à proximité de sources de chaleur,

telles qu’un poêle ou un radiateur, car cela

peut augmenter la consommation électrique.

Des températures ambiantes extrêmement

froides peuvent également entraîner un mauvais

fonctionnement de l’appareil.

• N’utilisez pas l’appareil près de l’eau, par

exemple, dans un sous-sol humide ou près d’un

évier.

Cet appareil peut être utilisé comme réfrigérateur

ou congélateur. La température peut être contrôlée

en réglant le cadran du thermostat sur le devant de

l’armoire.

Utilisation du réfrigérateur

Pour utiliser l’appareil comme réfrigérateur,

réglez le cadran du thermostat sur la plage

«Réfrigérateur». L’utilisation de ce réglage permet

à l’appareil de stocker des aliments frais et des

boissons. La température interne sera comprise

entre 0 et 10 °C (32 et 50 °F).

Il y a des conduites de réfrigérant dans les parois

de l’armoire qui deviendront très froides. Lorsque

vous utilisez l’appareil comme réfrigérateur, gardez

les aliments éloignés des parois de l’armoire pour

éviter qu’ils ne congèlent.

Utilisation du congélateur

Pour utiliser l’appareil comme congélateur,

réglez le cadran du thermostat sur la plage

«CONGÉLATEUR». L’utilisation de ce réglage

permet à l’appareil de stocker des aliments surgelés

et de la glace. La température interne sera comprise

entre -12 et -24 °C (10,4 et -11,2 °F).

Ne placez pas d’articles liquides dans des bouteilles

ou des récipients scellés dans l’appareil lorsqu’il est

utilisé comme congélateur pour éviter les dommages

causés par l’expansion et la ﬁ ssuration du récipient.

Congélation rapide

Régler le cadran du thermostat sur «

CONGÉLATION RAPIDE » fera fonctionner le

compresseur en continu. La température interne

sera d’environ -28 °C (-18,4 °F). « CONGÉLATION

RAPIDE » peut être utilisé pour abaisser rapidement

la température à l’intérieur du congélateur aﬁ n

que le contenu gèle plus rapidement. Ne faites pas

fonctionner « CONGÉLATION RAPIDE » pendant

plus de 24 heures.

IMPORTANT

Cet appareil est considéré comme « prêt pour

le garage » s’il est utilisé comme congélateur. Si

le cadran du thermostat est réglé sur la plage «

RÉFRIGÉRATEUR », l’appareil ne doit être utilisé que

dans des espaces climatisés.

Remarques sur les conversions

Lors de l’utilisation de l’appareil comme

réfrigérateur, de la condensation peut se former

sur les parois et les étagères. Ceci est normal et

n’affecte pas le fonctionnement de l’appareil. Cette

eau condensée peut être essuyée avec un chiffon sec

pour l’enlever. Le réglage des pieds de nivellement

à une position plus haute peut aider à incliner

l’armoire vers l’arrière et à faire s’écouler l’eau

condensée par le drain de dégivrage à l’intérieur de

l’armoire.

Si l’appareil a été utilisé comme congélateur et sera

converti pour être utilisé comme réfrigérateur, une

grande quantité de condensation peut se former

sur les parois de l’armoire. Veuillez vériﬁ er que

tous les aliments ont été retirés pour éviter une

décongélation indésirable des aliments. Dégivrez et

nettoyez l’appareil avant de le réutiliser pour éviter

l’accumulation d’eau à l’intérieur du meuble.

Autres remarques importantes

• MIN indique le réglage le plus chaud.

• MAX indique le réglage le plus froid.

• Le réglage du cadran du thermostat au milieu

de la plage MIN-MAX devrait être sufﬁ sant pour

une utilisation domestique régulière.

• Régler le thermostat sur « CONGÉLATION

RAPIDE » ou MAX dans la plage «

CONGÉLATEUR » fera fonctionner le

compresseur en continu et rendra l’intérieur

très froid. Il n’est pas recommandé de faire

fonctionner l’appareil à ce réglage pendant de

longues périodes.

• La température à l’intérieur de l’appareil peut

varier en fonction de la température ambiante

de la pièce, de la fréquence d’ouverture de

la porte et de la quantité d’aliments frais

récemment ajoutés.

• Ne surchargez pas l’appareil car cela peut

affecter les performances. Ne congelez pas

de grandes quantités d’aliments frais en même

temps.

• La porte peut être difﬁ cile à ouvrir

immédiatement après l’avoir fermée. Ceci est

normal et est dû à la différence de pression

entre l’intérieur froid de l’appareil et l’air chaud

qui vient d’entrer dans l’appareil lorsque la

porte a été ouverte. La pression s’égalisera en

quelques minutes. Si la porte est particulièrement

difﬁ cile à ouvrir, attendez 5 minutes pour

permettre à la pression de s’équilibrer, puis

réessayez.

CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION

INSTRUCTIONS D’INVERSION DE PORTE

Assurez-vous que l’appareil est débranché avant

de changer l’ouverture de la porte. Si vous couchez

l’appareil, placez-le sur une couverture ou un

article similaire pour protéger le sol et la ﬁ nition de

l’appareil.

Si l’appareil est placé sur le dos ou sur le côté

pendant une durée quelconque au cours de ce

processus, il doit rester debout pendant 6 heures

avant de le brancher pour éviter d’endommager les

composants internes.

1. Retirez le couvercle de la charnière et la

charnière supérieure du côté supérieur droit de

l’armoire. Retirez les couvercles des trous de vis

du côté supérieur gauche de l’armoire. Retirer la

porte de l’armoire

2. Retirez le pied réglable et la vis du côté inférieur

gauche de l’armoire. Retirez le pied réglable, la

charnière inférieure droite et la butée de porte

du côté inférieur droit de l’armoire. La charnière

inférieure gauche se trouve dans le sac

d’accessoires. Installez la charnière inférieure

gauche, le butoir de porte et le pied réglable sur

le côté inférieur gauche de l’armoire. Installez le

pied réglable et vissez sur le côté inférieur droit

de l’armoire. Conservez la charnière inférieure

droite pour une utilisation future.

3. Installez la porte sur l’armoire. Installez la

charnière supérieure sur le côté supérieur

gauche de l’armoire. Installez les couvercles

des trous de vis sur le côté supérieur droit

de l’armoire. Assurez-vous que le joint en

caoutchouc assure une bonne étanchéité avec

l’armoire tout autour de la porte avant de serrer

les vis sur la charnière supérieure.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MISE À NIVEAU

Il y a deux pieds réglables au bas de l’appareil

qui peuvent être tournés vers le haut ou vers le

bas pour s’assurer que l’appareil est de niveau.

Il est important que l’appareil soit de niveau pour

minimiser le bruit et les vibrations.

Déplacez l’appareil à son emplacement déﬁ nitif.

Tournez le pied de nivellement dans le sens inverse

des aiguilles d’une montre aussi loin que possible,

jusqu’à ce que le haut du pied touche le bas de

l’armoire. Tournez lentement le pied de nivellement

dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce

que l’appareil soit de niveau.

SOINS ET ENTRETIEN

NETTOYAGE

• Assurez-vous que l’appareil est débranché

avant de le nettoyer.

• Nettoyez l’intérieur et l’extérieur de l’appareil

avec un chiffon doux et humide et un peu de

détergent doux.

• Il est important de garder propre la zone où le

couvercle scelle contre l’armoire pour assurer

une étanchéité parfaite. Nettoyez cette zone

avec un chiffon savonneux. Rincez avec un chif-

fon humide et séchez.

• N’utilisez pas de nettoyants contenant de l’am-

moniac ou de l’alcool car ils peuvent endom-

mager l’apparence de l’appareil. N’utilisez

jamais de nettoyants commerciaux ou abrasifs

ou d’objets pointus sur aucune partie de l’appa-

reil.

• Laissez l’intérieur de l’appareil sécher complète-

ment avant de le rebrancher et de retourner les

aliments.

DÉGIVRER

Cet appareil doit être dégivré manuellement environ

tous les 6 mois ou chaque fois que la couche de

givre atteint 6 mm (1/4”) d’épaisseur.

Protégez le sol en mettant des serviettes ou une

casserole sous l’appareil en cas de fuite. Vériﬁ ez

fréquemment l’appareil pendant le dégivrage.

Retirez tous les aliments, débranchez l’appareil et

laissez la porte ouverte. Laissez le givre fondre et

laissez l’appareil débranché avec la porte ouverte

jusqu’à ce que l’intérieur soit sec.

PANNE ÉLECTRIQUE

La plupart des pannes de courant sont corrigées

en quelques heures et ne devraient pas affecter la

température de votre appareil si vous minimisez le

nombre d’ouvertures du couvercle. Si l’alimentation

doit être coupée pendant une longue période,

prenez les mesures appropriées pour protéger votre

contenu. Attendez 3 à 5 minutes avant de tenter de

redémarrer le réfrigérateur si le fonctionnement a

été interrompu.

VACANCES

Vous pouvez laisser l’appareil fonctionner pendant

des vacances de moins de trois semaines. Si

l’appareil n’est pas utilisé pendant plusieurs mois,

retirez tous les éléments et débranchez l’appareil.

Dégivrez, nettoyez et séchez soigneusement

l’intérieur. Pour éviter la formation d’odeurs et de

moisissures, laissez le couvercle légèrement ouvert,

en le bloquant si nécessaire.

CONSEIL D’ÉCONOMIE D’ÉNERGIE

L’appareil doit être situé dans la zone la plus fraîche

de la pièce, loin des appareils produisant de la

chaleur et à l’abri de la lumière directe du soleil.

Ne surchargez pas l’appareil et ne bloquez pas les

ouvertures de ventilation.

DÉMÉNAGER

• Retirez tous les éléments et assurez-vous que

l’intérieur de l’appareil est propre et sec.

• Fermez le couvercle avec du ruban adhésif.

• Assurez-vous que l’appareil reste bien en place

en position verticale pendant le transport.

• Protégez l’extérieur de l’appareil avec une

couverture ou un objet similaire.

• Si l’appareil est placé sur le dos ou sur le

côté pendant le transport, une fois arrivé à

destination, laissez-le rester dans sa position de

fonctionnement pendant 6 heures pour réduire

la possibilité d’un dysfonctionnement du système

de refroidissement.

DISPOSITION

Cet appareil ne doit pas être traité comme un

déchet ménager ordinaire, il doit être apporté au

point de collecte des déchets approprié pour le

Pourquoi le givre et la

glace s’accumulent-ils sur

les parois de l’armoire?

Les conduites de réfrigérant traversent les parois de l’armoire et deviennent

très froides; cela peut provoquer la formation de givre sur les parois

de l’armoire. La quantité de givre est affectée par l’humidité ambiante,

la fréquence d’ouverture de la porte et l’ajout d’aliments chauds dans

l’armoire. Si le givre atteint plus de 6 mm (1/4”) d’épaisseur, veuillez

consulter les instructions de dégivrage pour le retirer.

L’appareil émet un

gargouillis ; Pourquoi? Ce bruit est tout à fait normal. Le réfrigérant à l’intérieur de l’appareil émet

un gargouillement lorsqu’il passe d’un liquide à un gaz et vice-versa.

J’ai du mal à ouvrir le

couvercle ; Pourquoi? Le couvercle de l’appareil peut être difﬁ cile à ouvrir immédiatement après

Danby se réserve le droit de ﬁxer des limites géographiques au « service à domicile » selon la proximité d’un centre

de service autorisé. Pour tout service sur un appareil situé hors du territoire établi, il reviendra à l’acheteur

d’apporter à ses frais l’appareil au point de vente original ou au centre de service pour réparation. Si l’appareil se

trouve à 100 km (62 miles) ou plus d’un centre de service, l’acheteur doit le faire expédier au centre autorisé

Danby le plus proche.

Les frais de transport (aller et retour) au centre de service ne sont pas couverts par la garantie et incombent à

l’acheteur.

Durant les cinq (5) premières années, toute pièce fonctionnelle reconnue défectueuse sera réparée ou remplacée, à

la discrétion du fabricant, sans frais pour l’acheteur original.

Communiquer avec le distributeur à qui le produit a été acheté ou le centre de service autorisé Danby le plus

proche; le service doit être fait par un technicien qualiﬁé du centre, sans quoi Danby ne sera tenue de respecter

Le fabricant garantit ce produit contre les défauts de matériaux et de fabrication, à condition que celui-ci soit utilisé dans des conditions

porche, ou à tout autre endroit non adéquatement isolé ou où la température n’est pas contrôlée)

Une preuve d’achat avec date est requise pour toute réclamation en vertu de la garantie; conserver la facture de vente. En cas de

Este dispositivo está destinado a ser utilizado en

INSTRUCCIONES DE CONEXION A TIERRA

Este aparato debe estar conectado a tierra. La

puesta a tierra reduce el riesgo de descarga

eléctrica proporcionando un cable de escape para

la corriente eléctrica.

Este aparato tiene un cable que tiene un cable de

conexión a tierra con un enchufe de 3 clavijas. El

cable de alimentación debe estar enchufado en un

tomacorriente que esté debidamente conectado a

tierra. Si el tomacorriente es un enchufe de pared

de 2 terminales, debe ser reemplazado por un

tomacorriente de pared de 3 clavijas debidamente

ADVERTENCIA - El uso incorrecto del enchufe

de conexión a tierra puede resultar en un riesgo

de descarga eléctrica. Consulte a un electricista

caliﬁ cado o agente de servicio si las instrucciones

No conecte el aparato a los cables de extensión ni

con otro aparato en la misma toma de corriente.

No empalme el cable de alimentación. No corte ni

extraiga en ningún caso la tercera clavija de tierra

del cable de alimentación. No utilice cables de

extensión ni adaptadores sin conexión a tierra (dos

Si el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe

• Se deben utilizar dos personas para mover el

aparato. Coloque el electrodoméstico en un piso

que sea lo suﬁ cientemente fuerte para soportarlo

cuando esté completamente cargado.

• Retire el embalaje interior y exterior antes de la

instalación. Limpie el exterior del aparato con

un paño suave y seco y el interior con un paño

húmedo y tibio.

• No coloque el aparato bajo la luz solar directa

o cerca de fuentes de calor, como una estufa

o calentador, ya que esto puede aumentar el

consumo eléctrico. Las temperaturas ambientales

extremadamente frías también pueden hacer

que el aparato funcione incorrectamente.

• No utilice el aparato cerca del agua, por

ejemplo, en un sótano húmedo o cerca de un

fregadero.

• Este electrodoméstico está diseñado para uso

doméstico y en garajes en interiores solamente.

Los congeladores se prueban para funcionar en

temperaturas que van desde 0 °F a 110 °F (-17

°C a 43 °C). No está diseñado para instalación
