Warnings
• Please consult a physician prior to using the device if you suf-
fer from an illness (e.g. varicose veins, thrombosis, etc.).
• Never use the device with open wounds, burns, hematoma,
swellings, or similar conditions.
• Stop treatment if it feels uncomfortable to you. Heat-sensitive
persons in particular should use the device with care and stop
the treatment in a timely manner.
• Never use the heat device on animals.
• The use of this device at maximum heat setting for a long
period of time can lead to burns of the skin.
• The appliance is not to be used by young
children over the age of three unless the cont-
rols have been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or
unless the child has been adequately instructed
on how to operate the controls safely.
Attention
• In order to ensure the proper functionality of the operating
element (thermostat), do not place it on top of or underneath
the heat unit.
Do not cover the thermostat with other objects.
• Never use the heat device if it is folded,
wrinkled, or pushed together.
• Do not use if it is damp or wet.
• This appliance is not intended for medical use in hospitals.
• Examine the blanket frequently to check that there are no
signs of wear or damage. If any damage/wear is spotted, do
not use the blanket and seek specialist advice.
• If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged, it must only
be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• The appliance must not to be used by persons insensiti-
ve to heat and other very vulnerable persons who are unable
to react to overheating.
• Children under the age of three are not to use this appliance
due to their inability to react to overheating.
• If the device is to be used continuously for a long period of
time, the control must be set to the lowest position.
