The purpose of safety symbols is to attract your attention to possible dangers. The safety symbols

The denitions below describe the level of severity for each signal word. Please read the manual and

pay attention to these symbols.

This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential personal

injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid

possible injury or death.

DANGER DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in

death or serious injury.

WARNING WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result

in death or serious injury.

CAUTION CAUTION, used with the safety alert symbol, indicates a hazardous situation

which, if not avoided, will result in minor or moderate injury.

Damage Prevention and Information Messages

These inform the user of important information and/or instructions that could lead to equipment or

other property damage if they are not followed. Each message is preceded by the word "NOTICE",

as in the example below:

NOTICE: Equipment and/or property damage may result if these instructions are not followed.

WARNING The operation of any power tools can result in foreign

objects being thrown into your eyes, which can result in

severe eye damage. Before beginning power tool operation, always wear

safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields and a full face shield when

needed. We recommend a Wide Vision Safety Mask for use over eyeglasses

or standard safety glasses with side shields. Always use eye protection which

is marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including

the following:

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT!

WARNING To reduce the risk of re,

electric shock, or injury:

Know your blower. Read the instruction

manual carefully. Learn the blower’s

applications and limitations, as well as the

specic potential hazards related to this

blower. Following this rule will reduce the risk of

electric shock, re, or serious injury.

This blower is intended for household or

commercial use.

Do not leave blower unattended when the

battery is inserted. Remove the battery when

the blower is not in use and before servicing.

Do not allow the blower to be used as a toy.

Close attention is necessary when used by or

near children.

Use only as described in this manual.Use only

manufacturer’s recommended attachments.

Do not handle the charger, including charger

plug, or charger terminals with wet hands.

Do not put any object into any openings.

Do not use with any opening blocked; keep

openings free of dust, lint, hair, and anything

that may reduce air ow.

Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers, and all

parts of body away from openings and

moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long

hair can be drawn into air vents.

Secure long hair above shoulder level to

prevent entanglement in moving parts.

Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.

If the blower is not working as it should,

has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors,

or dropped into water, return it to a service

center.

Do not operate blowers in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence of

ammable liquids, gases, or dust. Blowers

create sparks which may ignite the dust or

fumes.

Use only the charger supplied by the

manufacturer to recharge.

Do not charge the battery pack outdoors.

Do not charge the battery pack in rain or in

wet locations.

Use the battery operated blower only with

specically designated battery pack. Use of

any other batteries may create a risk of re.

When battery pack is not in use, keep it

away from other metal objects, like paper

clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other

small metal objects, that can make a

connection from one terminal to another.

Shorting the battery terminals together may

cause burns or a re.

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be

ejected from the battery; avoid contact.

If contact accidentally occurs, ush with

water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally

seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the

battery may cause irritation or burns.

Do not incinerate the appliance even if it is

severely damaged. The batteries can explode

in a re.

Batteries can explode in the presence of a

source of ignition, such as a pilot light. To

reduce the risk of serious personal injury, never

use any cordless product in the presence of

open ame. An exploded battery can propel

debris and chemicals. If exposed, ush with

water immediately.

Do not expose a battery pack or tool to re

or excessive temperature. Exposure to re or

temperature above 212 °F (100°C) may cause

explosion.

Follow all charging instructions and do

not charge the battery pack or appliance

outside of the temperature range specied

in the instructions. Charging improperly or

at temperatures outside of the specied range

may damage the battery and increase the risk

of re.

Stay alert, watch what you are doing and

use common sense when operating a

power blower. Do not use the blower while

tired, upset, or under the inuence of

drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of

inattention while operating blowers may result in

serious personal injury.

Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure

the switch is in the “off” position before

connecting to battery pack, picking up or

carrying the appliance. Carrying the appliance

with your nger on the switch or energizing

the appliance that has the switch on invites

accidents.

Disconnect the battery pack from the

appliance before making any adjustments,

changing accessories, or storing the

appliance. Such preventive safety measures

reduce the risk of starting the appliance

accidentally.

Recharge only with the charger specied by

the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for

one type of battery pack may create a risk of re

when used with another battery pack.

Do not use a battery pack or appliance that

is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied

batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior

resulting in re, explosion, or risk of injury.

Do not modify or attempt to repair the

appliance or the battery pack except as

indicated in the instructions for use and

care.

Use safety equipment. Always wear eye

protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes,

hard hat, or hearing protection must be used for

appropriate conditions.

Always wear eye protection with side shields

marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1 along

with hearing protection when operating this

equipment. Everyday glasses have only impact

resistant lenses. They are NOT safety glasses.

Following this rule will reduce the risk of eye injury.

Do not use on a ladder, rooftop, tree, or

other unstable support. Stable footing on

a solid surface enables better control of the

blower in unexpected situations.

Always take care of your feet, children, or pets

around you when removing the battery pack

from blower. Serious injury could result if the

battery pack falls. NEVER remove the battery

pack when in a high position.

Do not use the blower if switch does not turn

it on or off. A blower that cannot be controlled

with the switch is dangerous and must be

repaired.

Detach the battery pack from the blower

before making any adjustments, changing

accessories, or storing the blower. Such

preventive safety measures reduce the risk of

starting the blower accidentally.

Turn off all controls before removing the

battery.

DO NOT attempt to clear clogs from the unit

without rst removing the battery.

Check for misalignment or binding of

moving parts, breakage of parts, and any

other condition that may affect the blower’s

operation. If damaged, have the blower

serviced before using. Many accidents are

caused by poorly maintained blowers.

Keep the blower and its handle dry, clean

and free from oil and grease. Always use a

clean cloth when cleaning. Never use brake

uids, gasoline, petroleum-based products,

or any strong solvents to clean your blower.

Following this rule will reduce the risk of loss

of control and deterioration of the enclosure

plastic.

Protect your lungs. Wear a face or dust

mask if the operation is dusty. Following this

rule will reduce the risk of serious personal

injury.

Protect your hearing. Wear hearing

protection during extended periods of

operation. Following this rule will reduce the

risk of serious personal injury.

Wear heavy long pants, long sleeves and

boots. Avoid loose garments or jewelry that

could get caught in moving parts of the machine

or its motor.

Do not operate the equipment while

barefoot or when wearing sandals or similar

lightweight footwear. Wear protective footwear

that will protect your feet and improve your

footing on slippery surfaces.

Battery powered blowers do not have to be

plugged into an electrical outlet; therefore,

they are always in operating condition.

Be aware of possible hazards when not

using your battery powered blower or when

changing accessories. Following this rule will

reduce the risk of electric shock, re, or serious

personal injury.

Keep rm footing and balance. Do not

overreach. Overreaching can result in loss of

balance.

Check the work area before each use.

Remove all objects such as rocks, broken glass,

nails, wire, or string which can be thrown by or

become entangled in the machine.

Do not point the blower tube in the direction

of people or pets.

Never run the unit without the proper

equipment attached. Always ensure that the

blower tube is installed.

When not in use, the blower should be

stored indoors in a dry, secure place out of

the reach of children.

Keep all bystanders, children, and pets at

least 50 ft. (15 m) away.

Never use the blower near res or hot ashes.

Use near res or ashes can spread res and

result in serious injury and/or property damage.

Never use blower to spread chemicals,

fertilizers, or any other toxic substances.

Spreading these substances could result in

serious injury to the operator or bystanders.

Never place the blower on any surface,

except a hard, clean surface when the motor

is running. Gravel, sand, and other debris

can be picked up by the air inlet and thrown at

the operator or bystanders, causing possible

serious injuries.

WARNING To ensure safety and

reliability, all repairs

should be performed by a qualied service

technician.

Blower service must be performed only

by qualied repair personnel. Service

or maintenance performed by unqualied

personnel may result in a risk of injury

When servicing a blower, use only identical

replacement parts. Follow instructions in

the Maintenance section of this manual.

Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow

Maintenance Instructions may create a risk of

shock or injury.

Save these instructions. Refer to them

frequently and use them to instruct others

who may use this tool. If you loan this tool to

someone else, also loan these instructions

to them to prevent misuse of the product and

possible injury.

ASSEMBLY

WARNING Detach the battery pack

from the tool before

making any assembly, adjustments or

changing accessories. Such preventive safety

measures reduce the risk of starting the tool

accidentally.

TO ATTACH/DETACH BATTERY PACK

(FIG. 2)

CAUTION To prevent accidental

starting of the blower, make

sure the speed dial is in the off position

(turned all the way counterclockwise).

To attach the battery pack:

Align the raised rib on the battery pack with the

grooves in the tool, and then slide the battery

pack onto the tool.

NOTICE: Make sure that the latch on the

battery pack snaps into place and that the

battery pack is secured to the tool before

beginning operation.

NOTICE: When placing the battery pack

onto the tool, be sure that the raised rib

on the battery pack aligns with the groove

inside the tool and that the latches snap into

place properly. Improper attachment of the

battery pack can cause damage to internal

components.

To detach the battery pack:

Depress the battery-release button located

on the front of the battery pack, to release the

battery pack. Pull the battery pack out and

remove it from the tool.

WARNING Battery tools are always in

operating condition.

Therefore, remove the battery when the tool

is not in use or when carrying it at your side.

ATTACHING THE EXTENSION TUBE FOR

USE AS A BLOWER (FIG. 3)

a. Use the arrow marks on the outside of the

tube to t the raised posts on the inside of the

tube into the grooves on the blower housing.

b. Rotate the tube clockwise to lock it into place

according to the rotation direction marked on

the blower housing. Pull on the tube to ensure

it is securely locked in place.

c. To remove the tube, rotate the tube

counterclockwise, then pull it straight out from

the blower.

ACCESSORY FOR USE AS AN INFLATOR

(FIG. 4)

a. Remove the extension tube.

b. Align the raised posts in the inator/deator

accessory with the grooves on the blower

housing. Push the inator/deator accessory

onto the blower housing as far as it can go.

c. Rotate the inator/deator accessory

clockwise according to the rotation direction

marked on the blower housing to lock it into

place. Pull on the accessory to ensure it is

securely locked in place.

d. To remove the accessory, rotate the inator/

deator accessory counterclockwise, then pull

it straight out from the blower to remove it.

ATTACHING THE INFLATOR/DEFLATOR

ACCESSORY FOR USE AS A DEFLATOR

(FIG. 5)

a. Align the grooves on the inator/deator

accessory with the ribs on the blower air inlet,

then insert the accessory onto the air inlet of

the blower as shown.

b. To remove the inator/deator accessory, pull

it away from the blower.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING To reduce the risk of re,

personal injury, and

product damage due to a short circuit, never

immerse your tool, battery pack or charger

in uid or allow a uid to ow inside them.

Corrosive or conductive uids, such as

seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and

bleach or bleach-containing products, etc. can

cause a short circuit.

WARNING If any parts are damaged

or missing, do not operate

this product until the parts are replaced. Use

of this product with damaged or missing parts

could result in serious personal injury.

WARNING Do not attempt to modify

this tool or create

accessories not recommended for use with

this tool. Any such alteration or modication is

misuse and could result in a hazardous

condition leading to possible serious injury.

WARNING To prevent accidental

starting that could cause

serious personal injury, always remove the

battery pack from the tool when assembling

parts, making adjustments, or cleaning the

tool.

APPLICATION

You may use this product for the purposes listed

below:

• Clearing hard surfaces such as driveways and

walkways

• Keeping jobsite area free from residual dusts

and other light debris

• Inating or deating rafts, mattresses, and

inatable toys, etc.

TO START/STOP THE BLOWER (FIG. 6)

NOTICE: Before switching on the blower,

ensure that it is not in contact with any object.

The blower can be locked at any speed with the

speed dial.

• Turn the speed dial clockwise to start the

blower. The air speed will increase as the dial

is rotated clockwise. Stop turning the dial as

soon as the blower reaches desired speed.

The blower will continue running at this speed

until the speed dial is turned again in either

direction.

• To decrease the air speed, turn the speed dial

counterclockwise.

• Keep turning the speed dial counterclockwise

to the off position to stop the blower.

Turbo Button

Depress and hold down the turbo button while

working to temporarily increase the air speed to

the maximum level. The blower will resume the

previous speed when the turbo button is released.

NOTE: The turbo button can also be used to

start the blower without using the speed dial. The

blower will run at the maximum speed for as long

as the turbo button is depressed.

WARNING Always remove the battery

pack from the blower

during work breaks and after nishing work.

TO OPERATE AS A BLOWER

• While working, always hold the blower by the

handle.

• To keep the debris from scattering, blow

around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never

blow directly into the center of a pile.

• To reduce sound levels, limit the number of

pieces of equipment used at any one time.

• Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before

blowing. In dusty conditions, slightly dampen

surfaces if water is available.

• Conserve water by using power blowers

instead of hoses for many lawn and garden

applications, including areas such as gutters,

screens, patios, grills, porches, and gardens.

• Watch out for children, pets, open windows,

or freshly washed cars, and blow debris safely

away.

• After using blowers or other equipment, clean

up! Dispose of debris properly.

TO OPERATE AS AN INFLATOR

a. Disconnect the battery pack.

b. Attach the inator/deator accessory to

the blower as described in the chapter

"ATTACHING THE INFLATOR/DEFLATOR

ACCESSORY FOR USE AS AN INFLATOR".

c. Mount one of the adapters, that is suitable for

the object being inated, onto the nozzle of

the accessory (Fig. 7).

d. Insert the adapter into the object being

inated.

e. Attach the battery pack and start the blower.

f. Be prepared to turn the blower of fast. DO

NOT OVER-INFLATE!

TO OPERATE AS A DEFLATOR

a. Disconnect the battery pack.

b. Attach the inator/deator accessory to the air

inlet of the blower as described in the chapter

"ATTACHING THE INFLATOR/DEFLATOR

ACCESSORY FOR USE AS A DEFLATOR".

c. Mount one of the adapters, that is suitable for

the object being deated, onto the nozzle of

the accessory (Fig. 7).

d. Insert the adapter into the object being

deated.

e. Attach the battery pack.

f. Ensure that the blower (or the extension tube)

is not pointing at any person or pet and start

the blower.

g. Turn the blower off when the object is deated.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING To avoid serious personal

injury, always remove the

battery pack from the tool when cleaning or

performing any maintenance.

SERVICE

WARNING Preventive maintenance

performed by

unauthorized personnel may result in

misplacing of internal wires and

components which could cause a serious

hazard. We recommend that all tool service be

performed by a FLEX Factory Service Center or

Authorized FLEX Service Station.

GENERAL MAINENANCE

WARNING When servicing, use only

identical replacement

parts. Use of any other parts could create a

hazard or cause product damage. Periodically

inspect the entire product for damaged, missing,

or loose parts such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,

etc. Tighten securely all fasteners and caps and

do not operate this product until all missing or

damaged parts are replaced. Please contact

customer service or an authorized service

center for assistance.

CLEANING

WARNING The tool may be cleaned

most effectively with

compressed dry air. Always wear safety

goggles when cleaning tools with

compressed air. Ventilation openings and

switch levers must be kept clean and free of

foreign matter. Do not attempt to clean by

inserting pointed objects through openings.

WARNING Certain cleaning agents

and solvents damage

plastic parts. Some of these are: gasoline,

carbon tetrachloride, chlorinated cleaning

solvents, ammonia and household detergents

that contain ammonia.

STORAGE

Store the tool indoors in a place that is

inaccessible to children. Keep away from

corrosive agents.

ACCESSORIES

WARNING The use of any other accessories not specied in this manual

may create a hazard.

products will be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of ve years from date of

purchase when the original purchaser registers the product within 30 days from the date of original

retail purchase and retains their receipt as proof of purchase. THE 5-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

PERIOD IS CONDITIONED ON REGISTRATION OF THE PRODUCT WITHIN 30 DAYS OF

PURCHASE AND ONLY APPLICABLE TO FLEX 24V TOOLS, BATTERIES AND CHARGERS. If the

original purchaser does not register their product within 30 days, the foregoing limited warranty will

Mode d’emploi, y compris tous les symboles d’alerte relatifs à la

sécurité tels que « DANGER », « AVERTISSEMENT » et « MISE EN GARDE », et assurez-vous

que vous les comprenez bien avant de commencer à utiliser cet outil.

Les dénitions ci-dessous décrivent le niveau de gravité pour chaque terme signalant un danger.

Veuillez lire le mode d’emploi et lire la signication de ces symboles.

C’est le symbole d’alerte relatif à la sécurité. Il est utilisé pour vous

avertir de l’existence possible d’un danger de lésion corporelle.

Obéissez à tous les messages relatifs à la sécurité qui suivent ce

symbole pour éviter tout risque de blessure ou même de mort.

DANGER DANGER indique une situation dangereuse qui, si elle n’est pas

évitée, causera la mort d’une personne ou une blessure grave.

AVERTISSEMENT AVERTISSEMENT indique une situation dangereuse qui, si elle

n’est pas évitée, causera la mort d’une personne ou une blessure

grave.

MISE EN GARDE MISE EN GARDE, conjointement avec le symbole d’alerte en

liaison avec la sécurité, indique une situation dangereuse qui, si

elle n'est pas évitée, causera une blessure légère ou modérée.

Messages d’information et de prévention des dommages

Ils informent l’utilisateur d’informations et/ou d’instructions importantes qui pourraient entraîner des

dommages matériels ou aux équipements s’ils ne sont pas suivis. Chaque message est précédé par

le terme « AVIS », comme dans l’exemple ci-dessous :

AVIS : Ne pas suivre ces consignes pourrait occasionner des dommages à l’équipement ou d’autres

dommages matériels.

AVERTISSEMENT Pendant leur fonctionnement, les outils

électriques peuvent projeter des corps

étrangers dans les yeux de leur utilisateur et lui iniger de graves blessures

aux yeux. Portez toujours des lunettes de protection ou des lunettes de

sécurité à écrans latéraux et un masque couvrant tout le visage lors de

l’utilisation de ce produit. Nous recommandons de porter un masque de

sécurité à vision latérale large au-dessus des lunettes ordinaires ou des

lunettes de sécurité standard avec des écrans de protection sur les côtés.

Utilisez toujours un équipement de protection des yeux indiquant qu’il est

conforme à la norme ANSI Z87.1.

Des précautions élémentaires doivent toujours être prises lors de l’utilisation d’outils

électriques, notamment les précautions suivantes :

AVERTISSEMENT Pour réduire le

risque

d’incendie, de choc électrique ou de

blessures : Familiarisez-vous avec votre

soufeuse. Lisez attentivement le mode

d’emploi. Apprenez les applications et les

limitations de la soufeuse, et prenez

conscience des dangers éventuels

spéciques associés à cette soufeuse.

L’observation de cette règle réduira le risque de

choc électrique, d’incendie ou de blessure

grave.

Cette soufeuse est conçue pour un emploi

résidentiel ou commercial.

Ne laissez pas la soufeuse sans

surveillance lorsque la pile est insérée.

Retirez la pile lorsque la soufeuse n’est pas

utilisée et avant tout entretien.

Ne laissez pas la soufeuse être utilisée

comme un jouet. Il est nécessaire de prendre

des précautions appropriées quand elle

est utilisée par des enfants ou à proximité

d’enfants.

N’utilisez la soufeuse que conformément

à ce qui est décrit dans ce mode d’emploi.

N’utiliser que les accessoires recommandés

par le fabricant.

Ne manipulez pas le chargeur, y compris

la che du chargeur et ses bornes, si vous

avez les mains mouillées.

N’introduisez pas d’objets dans des orices.

N’utilisez pas la soufeuse si l’un de ses

orices est obstrué ; assurez-vous que

les orices ne sont pas bloqués par de la

poussière, de la peluche, des cheveux ou

un quelconque objet risquant de réduire la

circulation de l’air.

Gardez vos cheveux, des vêtements amples,

vos doigts et toutes les parties de votre

corps à une distance sufsante des orices

et des pièces mobiles. Les vêtements amples,

bijoux ou cheveux longs pourraient être attirés

dans des évents d’aération.

Attachez les cheveux longs au-dessus du

niveau des épaules pour éviter qu’ils ne

s’emmêlent dans les pièces mobiles.

Faites particulièrement attention lorsque

vous nettoyez des escaliers.

Si la soufeuse ne fonctionne pas comme

elle devrait, si quelqu’un l’a fait tomber, si

elle est endommagé, si elle a été laissée

à l’extérieur ou si elle est tombée dans de

l’eau, téléphonez à un centre de service

après-vente.

N’utilisez pas des soufeuses dans une

atmosphère explosive, par exemple

en présence de liquides, de gaz ou de

poussières inammables. Les soufeuses

produisent des étincelles qui risquent de mettre

feu aux poussières ou aux émanations de

fumée.

N’utilisez que le chargeur fourni par le

fabricant pour recharger.

Ne chargez pas le bloc-piles à l’extérieur.

Ne chargez pas le bloc-piles sus la pluie ou

dans des endroits mouillés.

Utilisez votre soufeuse à piles

exclusivement avec des blocs-piles conçus

spéciquement pour celle-ci. L’emploi de

toutes autres piles risquerait de causer des

blessures.

Lorsque le bloc-piles n’est pas utilisé,

gardez-le à une distance sufsante des

autres objets en métal, comme des

trombones, pièces de monnaie, clés, clous,

vis ou autres petits objets en métal qui

pourraient faire une connexion entre une

borne et une autre. Le court-circuitage des

bornes d’une pile pourrait causer des brûlures

ou un incendie.

Dans des conditions d’utilisation abusives,

du liquide pourrait être éjecté de la pile;

évitez tout contact. En cas de contact

accidentel, lavez avec de l’eau. En cas de

contact de liquide avec les yeux, consultez

un professionnel de santé. Tout liquide éjecté

d’une pile peut causer de l’irritation ou des

brûlures.

N’incinérez pas cet équipement, même s’il

est gravement endommagé. Les piles peuvent

exploser en cas d’incendie.

Les piles peuvent exploser en présence

d’une source d’inammation comme une

amme pilote. Pour réduire le risque de

blessures personnelles graves, n’utilisez jamais

de produit sans l en présence d’une amme

vive. En explosant, une pile peut projeter

des débris et des agents chimiques. En cas

d’exposition, aspergez immédiatement avec de

l’eau.

N’exposez pas un bloc-piles ou un outil

à un feu ou à une température excessive.

L’exposition à un incendie ou à une température

supérieure à 100° C / 212° F pourrait causer

une explosion.

Suivez toutes les instructions relatives à la

charge et ne chargez pas le bloc-piles ou

l’appareil électrique en dehors de la plage de

température indiquée dans les instructions.

Une charge dans des conditions appropriées

ou à des températures en dehors de la plage

spéciée pourrait endommager les piles et

augmenter le risque d’incendie.

Soyez alerte, faites preuve de vigilance et

de bon sens, et observez attentivement

ce que vous faites lorsque vous utilisez

une soufeuse électrique. N’utilisez pas

la soufeuse si vous êtes fatigué(e) ou

sous l’inuence de drogues, d’alcool ou de

médicaments. Un simple moment d’inattention

pendant que vous utilisez une soufeuse

pourrait causer une blessure corporelle grave.

Prévenez une mise en marche accidentelle.

Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur est dans

la position d’arrêt avant de le connecter au

bloc-piles, ou de soulever ou de transporter

votre appareil. Le fait de transporter

un appareil électrique avec le doigt sur

l’interrupteur ou de le mettre sous tension avec

l’interrupteur en position de marche invite les

accidents.

Débranchez le bloc-piles de l’appareil

électrique avant d’y apporter de

quelconques modications, de changer des

accessoires ou de ranger l’appareil. De telles

mesures de sécurité préventives réduisent le

risque de démarrage accidentel de l’appareil.

Ne rechargez l’outil qu’avec le chargeur

indiqué par le fabricant. Un chargeur qui est

approprié pour un type de bloc-piles pourrait

créer un risque d’incendie quand il est utilisé

avec un autre bloc-piles.

N’utilisez pas un bloc-piles ou un appareil

électrique qui est endommagé ou a été

modié. Des piles endommagées ou modiées

peuvent se comporter de façon imprévisible

causer un incendie, une explosion ou des blessures.

Ne modiez pas et ne tentez pas de

réparer l’appareil ou le bloc-piles, sauf

conformément à ce qui est indiqué dans les

instructions d’entretien et le mode d’emploi.

Utilisez des équipements de protection.

Portez toujours des équipements de

protection des yeux. Un masque de protection

contre la poussière, des chaussures de sécurité

antidérapantes, un casque de sécurité ou une

protection auditive doivent être utilisés dans les

conditions appropriées.

Portez toujours des lunettes de sécurité

avec des écrans latéraux marqués comme

étant conformes à la norme ANSI Z87.1 ainsi

que des protège-oreilles. Les lunettes de tous

les jours n’ont que des verres résistants aux

chocs. Ce ne sont PAS des lunettes de sécurité.

L’observation de cette règle réduira le risque de

choc électrique.

Ne l’utilisez pas sur une échelle, sur un

toit, sur un arbre ou sur tout autre support

instable. Une assise stable sur une surface

solide permet un meilleur contrôle de la

soufeuse dans des situations inattendues.

Faites toujours attention à vos pieds, aux

enfants ou aux animaux domestiques qui vous

entourent lorsque vous retirez le bloc-piles de

la soufeuse. La chute du bloc-piles pourrait

causer des blessures graves. Ne retirez

JAMAIS le bloc-piles lorsque vous vous

trouvez à un endroit surélevé.

N’utilisez pas la soufeuse si l’interrupteur

de marche/arrêt ne permet pas de le mettre

sous tension/hors tension. Toute soufeuse

qui ne peut pas être contrôlée par son

interrupteur est dangereuse et doit être réparée.

Retirez le bloc-piles de la soufeuse avant

d’y apporter de quelconques modications,

de changer des accessoires ou de ranger

la soufeuse. De telles mesures de sécurité

préventives réduisent le risque de démarrage

accidentel de la soufeuse.

Éteignez toutes les commandes avant de

retirer le bloc-piles.

Ne tentez PAS de déboucher la soufeuse en

cas d’obstruction sans avoir préalablement

retiré la pile.

Assurez-vous que les pièces en mouvement

sont bien alignées et qu’elles ne se coincent

pas, qu’il n’y a pas de pièces cassées ou

qu’il n’existe aucune situation pouvant

affecter le fonctionnement de la soufeuse.

Si vous constatez des dommages, faites

réparer la soufeuse avant de vous en

servir à nouveau. De nombreux accidents sont

causés par des soufeuses mal entretenues.

Gardez la soufeuse et ses poignées

propres sèches, propres et exemptes de

toute trace d’huile ou de graisse. Utilisez

toujours un chiffon propre pour le nettoyage.

N’utilisez jamais de liquide de frein, d’essence,

de produits à base de pétrole ou de solvants

puissants pour nettoyer votre soufeuse. Le

respect de cette règle réduira le risque de perte

de contrôle et de détérioration du plastique de

l’enceinte.

Protégez vos poumons. Utilisez toujours un

masque de protection contre la poussière

ou une protection du visage si la tâche

que vous allez accomplir va produire de la

poussière. L’observation de cette règle réduira

le risque de blessure grave.

Protégez votre ouïe Portez une protection

auditive pendant les périodes de

fonctionnement prolongées. L’observation de

cette règle réduira le risque de blessure grave.

Portez des pantalons longs robustes des

bottes et des chemises à manches longues.

Évitez les vêtements amples ou les bijoux qui

pourraient se prendre dans les parties mobiles

de la machine ou de son moteur.

Ne vous servez pas de cette machine si

vous êtes pieds nus ou si vous portez

des sandales ou des chaussures légères

similaires. Portez des chaussures de sécurité

qui protégeront vos pieds et vous donneront un

meilleur appui sur des surfaces glissantes.

Il n’est pas nécessaire de brancher les

soufeuses alimentées par des piles dans

une prise de courant ; elles sont toujours

prêtes à fonctionner. Rééchissez toujours

aux dangers possibles chaque fois que vous

utilisez votre soufeuse électrique à piles

ou quand vous changez des accessoires.

L’observation de cette règle réduira le risque

de choc électrique, d’incendie ou de blessure

grave.

Gardez une assise ferme et soyez bien

équilibré(e). Ne vous penchez pas

excessivement au-dessus de la soufeuse.

Un tel mouvement pourrait entraîner une perte

d’équilibre.

Inspectez toujours la zone de travail

avant de commencer à vous servir de la

soufeuse. Retirez tous les objets, tels que

les pierres, le verre brisé, les clous, le l de

fer ou la celle qui peuvent être projetés par la

soufeuse ou s’emmêler dans celle-ci.

Ne dirigez pas le tube de la soufeuse en

direction des personnes ou des animaux

domestiques.

Ne faites jamais fonctionner la soufeuse

sans les attachements appropriés. Assurez-

vous toujours que le tube de la soufeuse

est installé.

Lorsqu’elle n’est pas utilisée, la soufeuse

doit être rangée à l’intérieur, dans un endroit

sec et sûr, hors de portée des enfants.

Gardez tous les enfants et les autres

personnes, ainsi que les animaux

domestiques, à au moins 15 mètres / 50 pi

de distance.

N’utilisez jamais la soufeuse à proximité

de feux ou de cendres chaudes. L’utilisation à

proximité de feux ou de cendres peut propager

les incendies et entraîner des blessures graves

et/ou des dommages matériels.

N’utilisez jamais la soufeuse pour épandre

des produits chimiques, des engrais ou

toute autre substance toxique. Sinon, il

existerait un risque de blessures graves pour

l’utilisateur et/ou des personnes se trouvant à

proximité.

Ne posez jamais la soufeuse sur une

surface quelconque autre qu’une surface

dure et propre lorsque le moteur est en

marche. Des graviers, du sable et d’autres

débris pourraient être ramassés par l’entrée

d’air et projetés sur l’opérateur ou les personnes

présentes, ce qui pourrait entraîner des

blessures graves.

AVERTISSEMENT Pour assurer la

sécurité et la

abilité, toutes les réparations doivent être

effectuées par un technicien de service

qualié.

Les réparations de la soufeuse ne doivent

être effectuées que par des réparateurs

qualiés. Une réparation ou un entretien

effectué par une personne non qualiée pourrait

causer un risque de blessure.

Lors de toute réparation d’une soufeuse,

n’utilisez que des pièces de rechange

identiques. Suivez les instructions de la section

Entretien de ce mode d’emploi. L’utilisation de

pièces de rechange non autorisées ou le non-

respect des instructions d’entretien pourrait

créer un risque de choc électrique ou de

blessure.

Conservez ces instructions. Consultez-les

fréquemment et utilisez-les pour donner les

instructions nécessaires à d’autres personnes

qui peuvent utiliser cet outil. Si vous prêtez cet

outil à quelqu’un d’autre, donnez également

ces instructions à la personne à laquelle vous

le prêtez pour éviter toute utilisation abusive du

produit et tout risque de blessure.
