RIGID STEM MOUNT
1) Passwirethroughstemsandscrewstemsintocouplingsontopofxture
body. NOTE: Thread locking compound must be applied to all stem
threads as noted with symbol (3)topreventaccidentalrotationofxture
during cleaning, relamping, etc.
2) Passxturewirethroughremainingstemsandscrewstemstogether.
3) Screw small threaded pipe onto top of stems.
4) Pass holes in canopy over threaded pipe on top of stems.
5) Slip one lockwasher over end of each threaded pipe protruding from inside
of canopy.
6) Ononethreadedpipescrewhexnutontoendofthreadedpipe.
7) On other threaded pipe slip end of safety cable then remaining lockwasher
overendofthreadedpipe.Screwhexnutontothreadedpipe.
8) TURN OFF POWER.
IMPORTANT: Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting
off the electricity until the work is done.
a) Gotothemainfuse,orcircuitbreaker,boxinyourhome.Placethe
main power switch in the “OFF” position.
b) Unscrew the fuse(s), or switch “OFF” the circuit breaker switch(s),
thatcontrolthepowertothextureorroomthatyouareworkingon.
c) Placethewallswitchinthe“OFF”position.Ifthexturetobe
replaced has a switch or pull chain, place those in the “OFF”
position..
9) At the center of the mounting strap are knockout slots. Remove the set
thatmatchesyouroutletbox.
10)Securethemountingstraptotheoutletbox.
11) Anchor the mounting strap to the ceiling using the set of holes at each end
ofxtureusingwoodscrews,togglebolts,plasticanchors,etc.
12) Attach safety cable to slot in mounting strap.
13)Connectxturegroundwiretooutletboxgroundwirewithwireconnector.
Never connect ground wire to black or white power supply wire.
14) Make wire connections (connectors not provided.) Reference chart below
for correct connections and wire accordingly.
15)Carefullypushwireconnectionsbackintooutletboxmakingsureall
connections remain secure.
16) Slip canopy over mounting screws and mounting strap. NOTE: Be certain
wires do not get pinched between mounting strap and canopy.
17) Secure canopy to mounting strap using threaded caps.
18) Lower inner glass down over socket.
19) Lower outer glass down over inner glass.
20) Insert recommended bulb.
LOOP/CHAIN LINK MOUNT
1) Follow steps 1, 2 and 3 from Rigid Stem Mount Instructions.
2) Screw loops onto end of each threaded pipe at top of each stem.
3) Add one chain link to each loop and add second loop to each chain link.
4) Screw threaded pipe into end of each second loop.
5) Pass each threaded pipe on loops through holes in canopy.
6) Slip one lockwasher over end of each threaded pipe protruding from inside
of canopy.
7) Ononethreadedpipescrewhexnutontoendofthreadedpipe.
8) On other threaded pipe slip end of safety cable then remaining lockwasher
overendofthreadedpipe.Screwhexnutontothreadedpipe.
9) Follow steps 8 - 20 from Rigid Stem Mount Instructions.

INSTALLATION SUR TIGE CANNELÉE
1) Acheminerlelduluminaireparlatigeetvisserlatigeenhautduluminaire.
REMARQUE : appliquerlefreinletsurtouslesletsdelatige
indiqués par le symbole (3) pour empêcher la rotation accidentelle
du luminaire pendant le nettoyage, remplacement de lampe, etc.
2) Acheminerlelduluminaireparlestigesrestantesetvisserlestiges
ensemble.
4) Passerlestrousdanslecachepardessuslesextrémitésdestiges.
5)Passerunerondelledeblocagesurchaqueextrémitédestubesletés
sortant de l’intérieur du cache.
6)Surl’undestubesletés,serrerl’écrouhexsurl’extrémitédelatige.
7)Surl’autretubeleté,passerl’extrémitéducâbledesécuritépuislarondelle
deblocagerestantesurl’extrémitédutubeleté.Visserl’écrouhexagonal
surletubeleté.
8) COUPER LE COURANT.
IMPORTANT: TOUJOURS couper l’électricité avant de commencer le
travail.
a) Localiser le coffret à fusibles ou le disjoncteur du domicile. Mettre
l’interrupteur principal en position d’Arrêt.
b) Dévisser le ou les fusibles (ou mettre le disjoncteur sur Arrêt) qui
contrôlent l’alimentation vers le luminaire ou la pièce dans laquelle
le travail est effectué.
c) Mettre l’interrupteur mural en position d’Arrêt. Si le luminaire à
remplacer est doté d’un interrupteur ou d’une chaîne connectée à
l‘interrupteur, placer ces éléments en position d’Arrêt.
9) Au centre du support de montage se trouvent des fentes amovibles.
Enlever l’ensemble correspondant à votre boîte à prises.
10) Visser le support de montage sur la boîte à prises.
11)Fixerlesupportdemontageauplafondenutilisantlesetdetroussur
chacunedesextrémitésdesluminairesl’aidedesvisàbois,boulonsà
ailettes, ancres en plastique etc.
12)Fixerlecâbledesécuritéàlafentedanslesupportdemontage.
13)Avecl’attache-l,connecterleldemiseálaterreauld’alimentationnoir
ouáceluiquiestblanc.
14)Connecterlesls(connecteursnonfournis).Sereporterautableau
ci-dessouspourfairelesconnexions.
15)Replacersoigneusementleslsdanslaboîteàprisesenveillantàceque
lesconnexionsnesoientpasdéconnectées.
16) Passer le cache sur les vis de montage et le support de montage.
REMARQUE:Veilleràcequeleslsneseretrouventpascoincésentrele
support de montage et le cache.
17)Fixerlecacheausupportdemontageàl’aidedesbouchonsletés.
18) Abaissez le verre intérieure vers le bas sur la douille.
19)Abaisserleverreextérieurverslebassurlavitreintérieure.
20) Insérez l’ampoule recommandée.
MONTAGE DES LIENS EN BOUCLE/MAILLON
1) Suivre les étapes 1, 2 et 3 des instructions Montage de la tige.
2) Visserlesbouclessurl’extrémitédechaquetubeleté.
3) Ajouter un maillon à chaque boucle et puis une autre boucle à chaque
maillon.
4) Visserletubeletédanslesextrémitésdesboucles.
5) Passerlestubesletéssurlesbouclesparlestroussituésdanslecache.
6) Passerunerondelledeblocagesurchaqueextrémitédestubesletés
sortant de l’intérieur du cache.
7)Surl’undestubesletés,serrerl’écrouhexsurl’extrémitédelatige.
8)Surl’autretubeleté,passerl’extrémitéducâbledesécuritépuislarondelle
deblocagerestantesurl’extrémitédutubeleté.Visserl’écrouhexagonal
surletubeleté.
9) Suivre les étapes 8 à 20 des instructions Montage de la tige.
