5 Year Limited Warranty
The Coleman Company, Inc. (“Coleman”) warrants that for a period of five (5)
years from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in
material and workmanship. Coleman, at its option, will repair or replace this
product or any component of the product found to be defective during the
warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured
product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may
be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. No warranty is
provided for batteries and lightbulbs. This is your exclusive warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial
retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of
purchase is required to obtain warranty performance. Coleman dealers, service
centers or retail stores selling Coleman
®
products do not have the right to alter,
modify or in any way change the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from
any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product, use on improper
voltage or current, use of non-Coleman accessories or parts, use contrary to the
operating instructions or failure to follow maintenance instructions, commercial,
in profit or non-profit instructional or rental applications, disassembly, repair or
alteration by anyone other than Coleman or an authorized service center.
Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes
and tornadoes.
COLEMAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL
DAMAGES CAUSED BY THE BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WAR-
RANTY, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR OTHERWISE. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT
PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MER-
CHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS LIMITED IN
DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE ABOVE WARRANTY. SOME STATES,
PROVINCES OR JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMI-

to the product a tag that includes your name, address, daytime telephone
number and description of the problem. Include a copy of the original sales

THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW
1. Operating time for this lantern depends
on whether it is run continuously or
intermittently. Intermittent operation
extends the run time of a set of batter-
ies. On a new set of alkaline batteries,
approximate run time of up to 14 hours
on low, 8 hours on high, and 70 hours on
emergency strobe.
2. The LED is a lifetime light source. It will
never need to be replaced.
3. Do not leave discharged batteries in the
lantern for an extended period of time
as this could permanently damage the
lantern.
4. To clean the outside of the lantern and
globe, use only a damp cloth and mild
dishwashing liquid. Avoid excessive
water and strong cleaner which can
damage lantern.

3. Ne laissez pas de piles épuisées dans la

vous risqueriez d’endommager irrémédia-
blement la lanterne.
4. N’utilisez qu’un linge humide et du
détergent à vaisselle doux pour nettoyer
l’extérieur et le globe de la lanterne. Une
quantité excessive d’eau et un produit
abrasif risqueraient d’endommager la
lanterne.

TO INSTALL OR REPLACE BATTERIES
Carefully read all instructions before use and save for future reference. Your new lantern operates on 3 “AA” cell
batteries. For longest life, use alkaline batteries.
1. Turn lantern upside down and remove the battery cover by pushing the snap feature and lifting up. (Fig. 1)
2. Install 3 “AA” cell batteries in the correct orientation as shown on the battery housing. Make certain all 3
batteries are installed correctly. (Fig. 2)
3. Replace battery cover by first inserting the tab on the battery cover
into the notch in the battery housing. Rotate down until battery cover
snaps into locked position.

1. Mettez la lanterne sens dessus
dessous puis enlevez le couvercle
du fond – enfoncez-le et levez-le.
(Fig. 1)
2. Placez 3 piles «AA» en les orientant
correctement, tel qu’illustré dans le
logement des piles. Assurez-vous que les 3 piles soient parfaitement positionnées. (Fig. 2)
3. Replacez le couvercle du fond en introduisant sa patte dans l’encoche du logement des piles. Tournez le
couvercle jusqu’à ce qu’il se bloque en place.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. The LED technology is designed so you never have to replace the bulb over the life of the product.
2. The lantern turns on by pushing the button on the front of the lantern. The number of times you push the
button will let you choose your lighting preference:
• Once for on and full brightness • Three times for flashing emergency signal light
• Twice for more subdued lighting • Fourth will turn lantern off.
3. This lantern is equipped with a reflector to direct light in a concentrated area.
TO LOWER REFLECTOR: Depress the horizontal shaped tab on back of lantern at lower
edge of top cap while grasping the tabs on the outside edges of the reflector (Fig. 7).
Slide reflector down completely for 360º area lighting.
TO RAISE REFLECTOR: Grasp tabs on outside edges of reflector and slide up until it locks
into position with the horizontal shaped tab at the top.

3. Cette lanterne comporte un réflecteur qui diffuse ou non le flux lumineux.
POUR ABAISSER LE RÉFLECTEUR: Enfoncez la patte horizontale – dessous la lanterne, près du bord
inférieur du chapeau du dessus – tout en tenant les pattes des bords extérieurs du réflecteur. (Fig. 7). Faites
glisser le réflecteur vers le bas pour diffuser la lumière sur 360º.
POUR LEVER LE RÉFLECTEUR: Tenez les pattes des bords extérieurs du réflecteur puis faites glisser le
réflecteur jusqu’à ce que la patte horizontale du haut le bloque fermement.

TO INSTALL OR REMOVE BRACKET HOLDER
NOTE: Bracket holder must be attached to smooth surfaces only. The bracket holder, with the lantern inserted,
can be fastened onto any smooth overhead, vertical or horizontal surface.
TO INSTALL : Insert lantern into bracket and rotate forward to lock into place (Fig. 3). Firmly press down on
bracket and rotate the lever to the “locked” position (Fig. 4).
TO REMOVE: Grasp lantern and bracket then rotate the lever to the “unlocked” position (Fig. 5). If bracket
does not release, hold lantern and bracket, then pull out on rubber tab (Fig. 5).
To remove lantern from bracket: grasp lantern, pull out on tab on front of the bracket, then lift out. (Fig. 6)

REMARQUE: L’étrier doit
uniquement être fixé sur surface lisse. Lorsque la lanterne est placée dans l’étrier, ce
dernier peut être fixé sur toute surface lisse au-dessus de la tête, verticale ou horizontale.

MISE EN PLACE: Insérez la lanterne dans l’étrier puis tournez-la en avant afin de la bloquer en place. (Fig. 3)
Appuyez fermement sur l’étrier puis tournez le levier pour le mettre en position de «verrouillage». (Fig. 4)
RETRAIT: Saisissez la lanterne et l’étrier puis tournez le levier pour le mettre en position de «déblocage». (Fig. 5)
Si la lanterne ne se dégage pas, tirez sur la patte de caoutchouc alors que vous tenez la lanterne et l’étrier. (Fig. 5)
Pour libérer la lanterne: saisissez-la, tirez la patte qui se trouve à l’avant de l’étrier et levez la lanterne. (Fig. 6)
