PAIRING/MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
When you select your mounting location, make sure the surface area
is clean.
During the mounting process, ensure the metal contacts on the probe
are facing downwards.
Remove the holder from the main body. Select your location and mount
the holder using the included screw and wall anchor. Once installed,
insert the main body and plug in the probe.

• Remove the holder from the main body. Twist the top half of the
plastic tab on the battery terminal. The battery will be connected and
the sensor will automatically be in pairing mode.
• If not in pairing mode, press and hold the power/reset button for 5
seconds until flashing slowly. Then release the button and the
sensor will enter pairing mode.
• In order to pair the device, please enable and give permission for
Location Services and Bluetooth® on your mobile device. In the NOMA
iQ™ app, select the “+” symbol in the top right-hand corner. Select the
device and follow the instructions within the app.

Once the main body has been placed in its intended location, place the
probe where a potential leak may occur.
Note:
Once your smart water leak sensor has been connected to the NOMA iQ™ app,
make sure to check that the sensor is working by placing the probe in
water. The sensor should light up and make a sound as it detects water.

•Place the included adhesive tape on the back of the main and secondary sensors.
Select your location and mount the main and secondary sensors.
PAIRING INSTRUCTIONS
Hold the main sensor and slide the casing in an upward direction. Once the
will be connected, and the sensor will automatically be in pairing mode.
If not in pairing mode press and hold the power/reset button for 5 seconds
until flashing rapidly.
When you select your mounting location, make sure the surface area is
clean.
During the mounting process ensure that both the main sensor and
secondary sensor are aligned correctly. Use the alignment lines indicated
on the main and secondary sensor. The sensors must touch in order to
work correctly.

• Insert the battery observing the proper polarity (+/-) as indicated
inside the battery compartment.
CAUTION:
Failure to properly align the battery polarity can cause personal injury
and/or property damage.
• Remove a spent or discharged battery from the product. Remove the
battery when not using the product for an extended period.
• Never throw batteries into a fire. Do not expose batteries to fire or
other heat sources.
DISPOSAL OF USED BATTERIES:
Battery may contain hazardous substances which could endanger the
environment and human health. Used batteries shall not be treated
as municipal waste, but left at the appropriate collection point for
recycling. For more information about collection and recycling of
used batteries, please contact your local municipality or waste disposal
service.

• Install only new batteries of the same type in your product.
• Failure to insert batteries in the correct polarity, as indicated in the
battery compartment, may shorten the life of the batteries or cause
batteries to leak.
• Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
• Batteries should be recycled or disposed of as per provincial and local
guidelines.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT & WARRANTY
BATTERY REPLACEMENT:
1. Remove the holder from the main body.
2. Twist the top half of the sensor in a counter-clockwise direction.
3. Remove the spent battery and place 1x CR2-3V battery into the
battery compartment, correctly observing the polarity indications (+/-).
4. Replace the top half of the sensor by rotating it clockwise.

This NOMA product carries a one (1) year repair warranty against
defects in workmanship and materials. At its discretion, NOMA Canada
agrees to have any defective part(s) repaired or replaced free of
charge within the stated warranty period, when returned with proof of
purchase. This product is not guaranteed against wear or breakage
due to misuse and/or abuse.

Lorsque vous sélectionnez votre emplacement de montage, assurez-vous que
la surface est propre.
Pendant le processus de montage, assurez-vous que les contacts métalliques
sur la sonde sont orientés vers le bas.
Retirez le support du corps principal. Sélectionnez votre emplacement et
montez le support au moyen de la vis et de la cheville d’ancrage mural incluse.
Une fois installé, insérez le corps principal et branchez la sonde.

INSTRUCTIONS DE MONTAGE
Une fois que le corps principal a été placé à son emplacement prévu, placez
la sonde à l’endroit où une fuite potentielle peut se produire.
Remarque :
Une fois que votre détecteur de fuite d’eau intelligent a été connecté à l’application
NOMA IQMC, assurez-vous de vérifier que le détecteur fonctionne en plaçant
la sonde dans l’eau. Le détecteur doit s’allumer et faire un son lorsqu’il détecte l’eau.
Retirez le support du corps principal. Tournez la moitié supérieure du
détecteur dans le sens antihoraire. Une fois le boîtier enlevé, retirez la
petite languette en plastique de la borne de la pile. La pile sera
connectée et le détecteur sera automatiquement en mode de couplage.
Si le détecteur n’est pas en mode de couplage, appuyez le bouton
d’alimentation/réinitialisation pendant 5 secondes jusqu’à ce qu’il
clignote lentement. Relâchez ensuite le bouton et le détecteur
entrera en mode de couplage.
Afin de coupler l’appareil, veuillez activer et autoriser les services de
localisation et Bluetooth sur votre appareil mobile. Dans l’application
NOMA iQMC, sélectionnez le symbole « + » dans le coin supérieur droit.
Sélectionnez l’appareil et suivez les instructions de l’application.
