self with your machine and use it for its intended applica-
tions.
The operating manual includes important information on
how to work safely, correctly and economically with the
machine and how to avoid hazards, save repair costs, re-
duce downtimes and increase the reliability and service
life of the machine.
In addition to the safety regulations of this operating man-
ual, you must follow the national provisions applicable to
the operation of the machine.
Keep the operating manual close to the machine, protect-
ed against dirt and moisture in a plastic cover. It must be
read by every operator before starting work and carefully
followed.
Work at the machine may be done only by persons, who
are instructed on how to use the machine and have been
taught the associated hazards. The minimum age speci-
fied should be complied with.
Besides the safety instructions included in this operating
manual and the special instructions of your country, the
generally accepted technical rules should be followed for
the operation.

• Check all parts for any transportation damage after un-
packing them. In case of complaints, the supplying
carrier must be notified immediately. Later claims will
not be accepted.
• Check the shipment for completeness.
• Familiarise yourself with the device before using it, by

and spare parts. You can obtain spare parts from your

Please read these instructions carefully – familiarise yourself
with this device. Follow the instructions for use, restrictions
and possible hazards applicable to this device.
1 The rated load limit must not be exceeded, as overload
can damage the chain hoist or reduce the lifting.
2 Make sure that the load chain has no knots. If there
are knots in the load chain, these must be removed
before use.
3 Make sure the load chain is hung on the chain pulley
before each use.
4 Do not pull at an oblique angle. A secure posture is
necessary.
5 The load must be held firmly in the hook. Try not to
lift the load with the point of the load hook.

8 Veuillez ne pas descendre la charge au-delà de la
longueur utilisable de la chaîne. Lorsque la chaîne est
fortement tirée entre la roue à chaîne et la goupille
d’extrémité de charge, des dégâts peuvent être causés.
9 Ne permettez pas que la charge vienne en contact avec
le palan à chaîne, sinon le pivotement libre se bloque

10 Le fonctionnement du palan à chaîne doit être aussi

au poids nominal du palan à chaîne. En cas de doute,
veuillez ne pas utiliser le palan à chaîne.
12 Ne surchargez jamais le palan à chaîne.
13 Assurez-vous toujours que les chaînes sont bien ver-
ticales et sans noeud.
14 Ne tirez jamais la chaîne de manoeuvre et la chaîne
de levage en diagonale.
15 N’utilisez pas le palan à chaîne à chaîne dans un
environnement explosif ou dans des salles humides.
16 Réglez la chaîne portative (2) de façon que son point
de retour se trouve à une hauteur entre 500 et 1000
mm au-dessus du sol.
17 La température ambiante des entrepôts doit se trouver
entre -10°C et 50°C.
18 N’utilisez aucun dispositif électrique dans le but de
manoeuvrer le palan à chaîne. Le palan à chaîne est
uniquement conçu pour une commande manuelle.
19 N’essayez pas de réparer la chaîne de levage. En cas
d’endommagement, la chaîne de levage peut être uni-
quement remplacée par un spécialiste. La chaîne de
levage doit être remplacée avec une nouvelle chaîne
du même acier soudé et trempé, de même taille et
de même épaisseur.
20 Veuillez graisser la chaîne de levage avant l’emploi.
21 21. Les surfaces de freinage ne doivent pas être grais-
sées. Le frein doit être gardé au sec.
22 22. Effectuez régulièrement un contrôle et une main-
tenance. Toutes les pièces endommagées ou défec-
tueuses doivent être remplacées par un personnel
spécialiste.
23 Réalisez les procédures de sécurité, contrôles et grais-
sages avant et pendant le maniement. N’opérez avec le
palan à chaîne que s’il est dans un état réglementaire.
24 Contrôlez régulièrement la chaîne porte-charge (1),
la chaîne portative (2), les crochets de fixation (3), le
crochet pour la charge (4), la cheville de blocage de
la charge (5), la roue d’entraînement (6) et la ferme-
ture à déclic (7) pour détecter d’éventuels défauts,
particulièrement après des arrêts prolongés.
25 Faites attention à tout défaut apparaissant pendant
l’utilisation. Si quelque chose ne vous semble pas
normal pendant que vous utilisez le palan à chaîne à
chaîne, mettez-le immédiatement hors circuit.
26 Ne levez pas la charge au-dessus de personnes. N’au-

7 If the chain is barred or cannot be pulled further,
please stop. Examine and resolve the problem. Do not
attempt to use force on the chain hoist. Do not leave
the load hanging in the air.
8 Please do not lower the load further than the usable
length of the chain. If the chain between the chain
wheel and the chain pulley is pulled too taught, this
can cause damage.
9 Do not allow the load to come into contact with the
chain hoist, otherwise free rotation will be blocked,
which could cause damage, knots in the chain or
barred wheels.
10 The chain hoist functioning must be thoroughly and
adequately checked.
11 Make sure the load weight is smaller than the stated
weight of the chain hoist. If in doubt, do not use the
chain hoist.
12 Never overload the chain hoist.
13 Always make sure the chain is vertical and straight,
and there are no knots.
14 Never pull the hand chain and the load chain at an
oblique angle.
15 Do not use the chain block in an explosive environ-
ment or damp rooms.
16 Adjust the hand chain (2) so that the point of chain
reversal of the hand chain (2) is at a height of between
500 and 1000 mm above the ground.
17 The temperature of the surrounding atmosphere must
be between -10°C and +50°C in order to operate.
18 Do not use electrical appliances to operate the chain
hoist. The chain hoist is designed for manual use only.
19 Do not try to repair the load chain. If it is damaged,
the load chain should only be replaced by an expert.
The load chain must be replaced with a new one of
the same welded and hardened steel, in the same size
and strength/thickness.
20 The load chain should be greased before use.
21 The brake surfaces must not be greased. The brake
must be kept dry
22 Regular checks and maintenance should be carried
out. All damaged or faulty parts must be exchanged
by an expert.
23 Safety procedures, examinations and greasing should
be carried out before and during operation. The chain
hoist should only be used if it is in proper working
order.
24 Examine the load chain (1), hand chain (2), fastening
hook (3), load hook (4), load pin (5), drive wheel (6),
and latch lock (7) for defects, especially after longer
periods of standstill.
25 Pay attention to any defects which may have occurred
during use. If there are noticeable problems, immedi-
ately stop the chain block from operating.
26 Do not lift the load so that it is above any persons.
Do not allow any persons to walk underneath the load.
If you wish to lift a load, please warn anyone in the
surrounding area.
27 Do not lift any persons with the chain hoist.

Avant la mise en service
1 Avant de soulever une charge avec le palan à chaîne,
vous devez vous familiariser avec le fonctionnement
de votre palan à chaîne « sans charge ».
2 Il faut veiller à une fixation stable du palan à chaîne.
Soyez très critique lors du choix du point d’accro-
chage, il faut choisir un point qui peut résister au
double de la charge. Si vous n’êtes pas sûr(e) que le
point sélectionné est bien le bon, alors choisissez un
autre point.

Il faut accrocher le palan à chaîne de telle manière
que sa position ne puisse changer pendant l’utilisation.
4 Le loquet du crochet de fixation tout comme celui du
crochet de charge doivent toujours être fermés lors
du maniement.

Lever une charge
Une flèche est gravée sur la face avant du palan à chaîne
à chaîne avec une inscription « UP ». La flèche est tour-
née vers le haut. Pour soulever la charge, tirez le palan à
chaîne par ce côté au niveau de la chaîne portative (2).
Descendre une charge
Une flèche est gravée sur la face avant du palan à chaîne
à chaîne avec une inscription « DN ». La flèche est tour-
née vers le bas. Pour abaisser la charge, tirez le palan à
chaîne par ce côté au niveau de la chaîne portative.
Nettoyage et maintenance
1 Afin d’obtenir une performance et une fiabilité du
palan à chaîne les plus longues possibles, retirez
régulièrement la poussière de votre palan à chaîne,
graissez minutieusement les pièces après l’emploi et
conservez-le dans un endroit sec.
2 N’effectuez vous-mêmes aucune modification ou répa-
ration sur votre palan à chaîne, ceci doit être effectué
par un personnel spécialiste.
3 Il faut contrôler régulièrement l’endommagement du
palan à chaîne.
4 Il faut contrôler régulièrement le fonctionnement cor-
rect du palan à chaîne.
m Proper Use
The chain block is an appliance for the vertical lifting and
lowering of loads.
The machine is to be used only for its prescribed purpose.
Any other use is deemed to be a case of misuse. The user/
operator - not the manufacturer - will be liable for any
damage or injuries caused as a result thereof.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for
use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our
warranty will be voided if the equipment is used in com-
mercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent
purposes.
Before starting the machine
1 Before you lift a load with the chain hoist, you should
make yourself familiar with the “without load” func-
tion of the chain hoist.
2 Make sure the chain hoist is securely fastened. Be
careful when choosing fastening points. These points
must be able to carry double the load. If you are unsure
as to whether the chosen point is the right one, please
choose a different one.
3 The chain hoist should be fastened so that it cannot
change its position during operation.
4 The latch locks which are attached to the fastening
hook and the load hook must always be closed during
operation
Operation
Lifting the load
On the front side of the chain block there is an engraved
arrow pointing upwards, labelled “UP”. Pull the hand
chain (2) on this side of the chain block in order to lift
the load.
Lowering the load
On the front side of the chain block there is an engraved
arrow pointing downwards, labelled “DN”. Pull the hand
chain (2) on this side of the chain block in order to lower
the load.
Cleaning and maintenance
1 In order to achieve the longest possible operating ef-
ficiency and reliability of the chain hoist, remove dirt
regularly from your chain hoist, grease the relevant
parts thoroughly after use and store the hoist in a
dry place.
2 Do not carry out any technical alterations or repairs to
the chain hoist; have these carried out by an expert
instead.
3 The chain hoist must be regularly examined for dam-
age.
4 The working order of the chain hoist is to be checked
regularly.

die Vorlieferanten zustehen. Die Kosten für das Einsetzen der neuen Teile trägt der Käufer. Wand-

Apparent defects must be notified within 8 days from the receipt of the goods. Otherwise, the
buyerís rights of claim due to such defects are invalidated. We guarantee for our machines in
case of proper treatment for the time of the statutory warranty period from delivery in such a
way that we replace any machine part free of charge which provably becomes unusable due to
faulty material or defects of fabrication within such period of time. With respect to parts not
manufactured by us we only warrant insofar as we are entitled to warranty claims against the up-
stream suppliers. The costs for the installation of the new parts shall be borne by the buyer. The
cancellation of sale or the reduction of purchase price as well as any other claims for damages
shall be excluded.

Med denna maskin följer en 24 månaders garanti. Garantin täcker endast material- och konstruk-
tionsfel. Defekta delar ersätts utan omkostningar, men kunden står för installationen. Vår garanti
täcker endast orginal scheppach-delar. Anspråk på garanti öreligger inte för: garantin täcker ej,
transportskador, skador orsakade av felaktig behandling och då skötselföreskrifter inte beaktats.
Vidare kan garantikrav endast ställas för maskiner som inte har reparerats av tredje part.

garancijo ob pravilni uporabi za čas zakonsko določenega roka garancije od predaje in sicer
na takšen način, da vsak del naprave brezplačno nadomestimo, za katerega bi se v tem roku
izkazalo, da je zaradi slabega materiala ali slabe izdelave neuporaben. Za dele, ki jih sami
ne izdelujemo, jamčimo samo toliko, kolikor zahteva garancija drugih podjetij. Stroški za
vstavljanje novih delov nosi kupec. Zahteve za spreminjanje in zmanjšanje ter ostale zahteve
za nadomestilo škode so izključene.

рекламационные претензии к изготовителям. Расходы по замене деталей несет покупа-

Wszelkie uszkodzenia muszą być zgłaszane w przeciągu 8 dni od daty otrzymania towaru, w
przeciwnym wypadku, prawo do reklamacji wygasa. Gwarantujemy, że w czasie trwania gwa-
rancji wymienimy wszelkie części maszyny, które okażą się niesprawne na skutek wad materiału
z jakiego zostały wykonane lub błędów w produkcji bez dodatkowych opłat pod warunkiem, że
maszyna będzie obsługiwana zgodnie z zaleceniami. W odniesieniu do części nie produkowa-
nych przez nas, gwarancja obowiązuje tylko w przypadku naszych dostawców. Koszty instalacji
nowych części są ponoszone przez klienta. Odszkodowania wynikłe z uszkodzeń maszyny oraz
redukcje ceny zakupu maszyny w ramach reklamacji nie będą rozpatrywane.
