Preliminary information for installing the hood:
Disconnect the power supply at the domestic main switch before carrying out electrical connections.
In order to facilitate installation,
(1) trace a mark on the wall using the alignment axis
, position the
template so that the central line printed on the template matches the central line marked on the wall.
Once it is installed, the bottom part of the template should align with the bottom of the hood

Drill four holes (Ø 8 mm) and insert 4 wall plugs

, then insert 2 screws in the top holes, but do not
tighten them completely.
Drill two holes (Ø 8 mm) near the ceiling
(4)
using the flue support as template, check that the centre
of flue support is aligned with the central line marked on the wall and insert two wall plugs.
Note:

Fix the flue support to the wall with two screws and washers

Hang the hood

, remove the grease filters and fix it with two screws and washers

four screws are fully screwed in.

Fix the electric card and the junction box on the top of the hood using two screws (boxes must face the

Fit the fairlead in its seat

Position the flue and fix it, first at the top

sure that the fairlead

is in its seat on the flue

and that the control buttons are aligned with

Adjust the position of the control panel using two of the screws that are inside the motor chassis

Fix the bottom part of the flue with two screws from the inside

Refit the grease filters, connect the hood to the power supply and check that the hood operates correctly.

The hood can be controlled by means of the control panel or remote control.
CONTROL PANEL
1.
Hood OFF.
2.
Reduce the speed.
3.
Hood ON, Increase the speed.
4.
Timer 5/15 (minutes) press once for 5, twice for 15, three times to SWITCH OFF the timer.
5.
Resetting the filter.
6.
Light ON/OFF button.

. LED that indicates filter saturation.
BUTTON 4:
Activates and deactivates the timer. Automatically switches off the appliance at the set speed.
LED alight = timer activated  For 5 or 15 minutes depending on setting.
BUTTON 5:
Press and hold this button for at least 3 seconds until the light goes out after replacing the
carbon filters.
BUTTONS 4+5:
Programming the remote control code. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously for at
least 3 seconds. An acoustic alarm will indicate that the programming is completed.
Continuing to hold the buttons mentioned above, press any button on the remote control.
An acoustic alarm will indicate that the code has been accepted and memorised.
LED F:
Indicates carbon filter saturation.
This LED is ALIGHT also for extractor operation, press BUTTON

until the light goes out.

To clean the grease filter
Wash the grease filter at least once a month.
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filters: pull the spring release
handle (
A-Fig. 1
) outwards, then remove the
filter.
3.
After cleaning the grease filter, remount in
reverse order ensuring the entire extraction
surface is covered.
Fitting the carbon filter
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Remove the grease filter

3.
Fit the carbon filter by fixing it to the hood body
with the two specific screws (
B-Fig. 2
).
4.
Refit the grease filter.
Replacing bulbs
1.
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
2.
Use a small screwdriver or any other suitable tool
to prize off (
C-Fig. 3
) the lamp cover (
D-Fig. 3
).
3.
Remove the burnt-out bulb.
4.
Use 20 W max halogen bulbs only, making sure
not to touch them with your hands.
5.
Close the lighting unit (snap-close).

How to use the Remote Control

How to set the Remote Control
Before using the remote control, set it with the
hood:
Press and hold buttons 4+5 simultaneously for at
least 3 seconds.
An acoustic alarm will indicate that the
programming is completed.
Continuing to hold the buttons mentioned above,
press any button on the remote control.
An acoustic alarm will indicate that the code has
been accepted and memorised.
Remote control maintenance
Clean the remote control with non-abrasive
detergents.
To replace the battery of the remote control,
proceed as follows:
Open the lid on the back of the remote control
to access the battery compartment.
Extract the exhausted battery and replace it
with a new
23A 12V battery.
When installing the battery, always check the
polarity of the battery terminals to be sure the
battery is not reversed.
Warning!
If the remote control does not operate, follow the
instructions below before contacting your nearest
After-sales Service:
Disconnect the electrical power supply.
Connect the power supply again.
Repeat the procedure indicated in the
paragraph How to set the remote control
Follow this procedure every time the remote
control does not operate without any evident
reason (e.g.: exhausted battery).
