Funkdatenlogger für Feuchte und Temperatur
Allgemeine Beschreibung
Die Funkdatenlogger der Serie LOG sind autonom arbeitende Datenerfassungseinheiten für die
Speicherung von Feuchte- und/oder Temperaturmesswerten. Die Datenlogger sind wartungsfrei
und kommunizieren über eine Funkschnittstelle. Diese Kurzbedienungsanleitung beschränkt
sich auf die Beschreibung der wichtigsten Funktionen und der Installation des Gerätes. Weitere

KURZBEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG
Mechanische Installation
LOG-HC2-RC / HL-RC-B: Schliessen Sie den Fühler der HC2-Serie an den Funkdatenlogger an.
LOG-PT1000 / HL-RC-T: Sind bei der Auslieferung einsatzbereit.
Installieren Sie den Funk-Logger, gemäss den nachfolgenden Empfehlungen.
Standortwahl
Für eine optimale Sende- und Empfangsreichweite ist der Standort in trockenen Innenräumen
nach folgenden Kriterien zu wählen:
• Waagerecht, frei zugänglich (nicht durch Gegenstände verstellt)
• Keine metallischen Gegenstände (Wasserleitungen, Stahlschränke, o.ä.)
• Idealerweise besteht eine «Sichtverbindung» zwischen Antenne und anzusprechendem Gerät
• Sonneneinstrahlung, Feuchtigkeit und Temperaturwechsel vermeiden
• Minimaler Abstand zur Empfangsantenne 1 Meter
Zugriffsschutz
Die Datenlogger verfügen über einen Zugriffsschutz. Zum Sperren und Freigeben eines Loggers
muss in der Software ein 4-stelliger Access-Code eingegeben werden. Dieser befi ndet sich auf
der Etikette des Funkdatenloggers.
Reinigung
Zum Reinigen der Hardware weder harte noch spitze Gegenstände und keine aggressiven Reini-
gungsmittel verwenden. Dichtungen und die Gewinde dürfen nicht beschmutzt oder beschädigt
werden.
Stromversorgung
Die Energieversorgung erfolgt mittels Lithiumbatterien vom Typ AA mit 3,6 V.
Um die Batterie zu ersetzen, retournieren Sie das Gerät an eine ROTRONIC Service Stelle.

Wireless data logger for humidity and temperature
General description
The wireless data loggers in the LOG series are autonomous data logging units for storage of
measured humidity and/or temperature values. The data loggers require no maintenance and
communicate via a wireless interface. These short instructions are limited to a description of the
main functions and installation of the device. You can fi nd further information in the ROTRONIC

SHORT INSTRUCTION MANUAL
Mechanical installation
LOG-HC2-RC / HL-RC-B: Connect a probe from the HC2 series to the wireless data logger.
LOG-PT1000 / HL-RC-T: Are ready for use on delivery.
Install the wireless data logger according to the following recommendations.
Choice of location
To attain an optimum transmission and reception range, the location is to be selected in dry
indoors by the following criteria:
• Horizontal, freely accessible (not blocked by objects)
• No metallic objects (water pipes, steel cabinets, etc.)
• Ideally there should be a "line of sight" between antenna and the device
that is to be addressed
• Avoid sunlight, moisture and temperature changes
• Minimum distance to the receiving antenna 1 meter
Software insta llation
The data loggers are equipped with access protection. To activate the loggers, a four-digit access
code, which can be found on the label of the wireless logger, must be entered in the software.
Cleaning
Do not use hard or sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the hardware.
Take care not to soil or damage the seals and thread.
Power supply
The device is supplied with power by lithium batteries of the type AA with 3.6 V.
To replace the battery, please send the device in to a ROTRONIC service centre.

MODE D'EMPLOI ABRÉGÉ
Installation mécanique
LOG-HC2-RC / HL-RC-B): raccordez le capteur de la série HC2 au logger de données radio.
LOG-PT1000 / HL-RC-T: sont livrés en ordre de fonctionnement.
Installez le logger de données radio selon les recommandations ci-dessous.
Choix du lieu d’installation
Pour une portée optimale d’émission et une bonne réception, il est indispensable de choisir un
endroit sec, en intérieur et disposant des critères suivants:
• Plan horizontal, libre d’accès (éviter l’encombrement par des objets)
• Éviter la proximité d’objets métalliques (conduites d’eau, armoires métalliques, etc.)
• Le positionnement idéal devrait assurer une «liaison visuelle directe» entre l’antenne et les
appareils à relier. Éviter le rayonnement solaire, l’humidité et les variations de température
• La distance minimale à l'antenne de réception de 1 mètre
Installation du logiciel
Les loggers de données sont équipés d’une protection d’accès. Le code d’accès à 4 chiffres qui
se trouve sur l’étiquette du logger de données radio doit être entré dans le logiciel afi n de déver-
rouiller le logger.
Nettoyage
N’utilisez pas d’objet dur ou pointu, ni de produit détergent agressif pour nettoyer le matériel.
Les joints et fi letages ne doivent pas être encrassés ou endommagés.
Alimentation électrique
L’alimentation en énergie est assurée par des piles au lithium de type AA, 3,6 V. Retournez l’appareil
à un centre de service de ROTRONIC pour le changement des piles.

Scelta del punto di installazione
Onde ottenere portate di trasmissione e di ricezione ottimali, si dovrà scegliere il punto di installa-
zione in locali asciutti e sulla base dei criteri seguenti:
• Orizzontale, liberamente accessibile (non ostruito da oggetti)
• Nessun oggetto metallico (condotte idriche, armadietti di acciaio, o similari)
• L'ideale sarebbe il "collegamento visivo" fra l'antenna e l'apparecchio pertinente
• Evitare esposizione ai raggi solari, umidità e sbalzi di temperatura
• Distanza minima di ricezione dell'antenna 1 metro
Insta llazione software
I data logger dispongono di protezione dell'accesso. L'attivazione dei logger prevede la digitazione
nel software di un codice di accesso a 4 cifre, che si trova sull'etichetta del logger wireless.
Pulizia
Per la pulizia dell'hardware non ricorrere ad oggetti né duri né appuntiti, tanto meno a detergenti
aggressivi. Le guarnizioni e le fi lettature non devono subire imbrattamenti o danneggiamenti.
Alimentazione di corrente
L'alimentazione di energia si effettua per mezzo di batterie al litio di tipo AA da 3,6 V. Per sostituire
la batteria, ritornate lo strumento ad un punto assistenza ROTRONIC.
