Excessive Weight Hazard
Use two or more people to move and install
refrigerator.
Failure to do so can result in back or other injury.
Remove the Packaging
Do not use sharp instruments, rubbing alcohol, flammable fluids,
or abrasive cleaners to remove tape or glue. These products can
damage the surface of your refrigerator. For more information, see
"Refrigerator Safety."
IMPORTANT: Do not remove the white foam air return insert from
behind the control panel on the ceiling of the refrigerator. If the
insert is removed, ice may migrate down from the freezer and
cause icicles to form.
When Moving Your Refrigerator:
Your refrigerator is heavy. When moving the refrigerator
for cleaning or service, be sure to protect the floor.
Always putI the refrigerator straight out when moving it=
Do not wiggle or "walk" the refrigerator when trying to move
it, as floor damage could occur.
Clean Before Using
After you remove all of the package materials, clean the inside of
your refrigerator before using it. See the cleaning instructions in
"Refrigerator Care."
Important information to know about glass shelves
and covers:
Do not clean glass shelves or covers with warm water when
they are cold. Shelves and covers may break if exposed to
sudden temperature changes or impact, such as bumping.
For your protection, tempered glass is designed to shatter
into many small, pebble-size pieces. This is normal. Glass
shelves and covers are heavy. Use special care when
removing them to avoid impact from dropping.

Keep flammable materials and vapors, such as
gasomine, away from refrigerator.
Faimureto do so can resumt in death, explosion, or fire.
Toensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator, allow for a 1/2"
(12.70 mm) space on each side. Allow 3" (7.5 cm) of space
between overhead cabinets and refrigerator top. Allow at least 1"
(25.40 mm) between back of cabinet and the wall. If your
refrigerator has an ice maker, make sure you leave some extra
space at the back for the water line connections.
If you are installing your refrigerator next to a fixed wall, leave
2" (5.08 cm) minimum on the hinge side (depending on your
model) to allow for the door to swing open.
Level the refrigerator. See "Adjust the Doors."
NOTE: It is recommended that you do not install the refrigerator
near an oven, radiator, or other heat source. Do not install in a
location where the temperature will fall below 55°F (13°C).

Before you move your refrigerator into its final location, it is
important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection.
Recommended Grounding Method
A 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded
electrical supply is required. It is recommended that a separate
circuit serving only your refrigerator be provided. Use an outlet
that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an
extension cord.
NOTE: Before performing any type of installation, cleaning, or
removing a light bulb, turn the control (Thermostat, Refrigerator or
Freezer Control depending on the model) to OFF and then
disconnect the refrigerator from the electrical source. When you
are finished, reconnect the refrigerator to the electrical source and
reset the control (Thermostat, Refrigerator or Freezer Control
depending on the model) to the desired setting.
Gather the required tools and parts before starting installation.
Read and follow the instructions provided with any tools listed
here.

NOTE: Your refrigerator dealer has a kit available with a %"
(6.35 mm) saddle-type shutoff valve, a union, and copper tubing.
Before purchasing, make sure a saddle-type valve complies with
your local plumbing codes. Do not use a piercing-type or 3/lO"
(4.76 mm) saddle valve which reduces water flow and clogs more
easily.
IMPORTANT:
All installations must meet local plumbing code requirements.
Use copper tubing and check for leaks. Install copper tubing
only in areas where the household temperatures will remain
above freezing.
Water Pressure
A cold water supply with water pressure of between 30 and
120 psi (207 - 827 kPa) is required to operate the water dispenser
and ice maker. Ifyou have questions about your water pressure,
call a licensed, qualified plumber.
Reverse Osmosis Water Supply
IMPORTANT: The pressure of the water supply coming out of a
reverse osmosis system going to the water inlet valve of the
refrigerator needs to be between 30 and 120 psi (207 - 827 kPa).
If a reverse osmosis water filtration system is connected to your
cold water supply, the water pressure to the reverse osmosis
system needs to be a minimum of 40 to 60 psi (276 - 414 kPa).
If the water pressure to the reverse osmosis system is less than
40 to 60 psi (276 - 414 kPa):
Check to see whether the sediment filter in the reverse
osmosis system is blocked. Replace the filter if necessary.
Allow the storage tank on the reverse osmosis system to refill
after heavy usage,
If you have questions about your water pressure, call a licensed,
qualified plumber.
Read all directions before you begin.
IMPORTANT: Ifyou turn the refrigerator on before the water line is
connected, turn the ice maker OFR
Connect to Water Line
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Turn OFF main water supply. Turn ON nearest faucet long
enough to clear line of water.
3. Locate a 1/2"(1.27 cm) to 11/4'' (3.18 cm) vertical COLD water
pipe near the refrigerator.
IMPORTANT:
Make sure it is a cold water pipe.
Horizontal pipe will work, but drill on the top side of the
pipe, not the bottom. This will help keep water away from
the drill and normal sediment from collecting in the valve.
Determine the length of copper tubing you will need. Measure
from connection on lower left rear of refrigerator to water pipe.
Add 7 ft (2.1 m) to allow for cleaning. Use 1/4"(6.35 mm) O.D.
(outside diameter) copper tubing. Be sure both ends of copper
tubing are cut square.
Using a grounded drill, drill a 1/4"(6.35 mm) hole in the cold
water pipe you have selected.

6. Fasten shutoff valve to cold water pipe with pipe clamp. Be
sure outlet end is solidly in the 1/4"(6.35 mm) drilled hole in the
water pipe and that washer is under the pipe clamp. Tighten
packing nut. Tighten the pipe clamp screws slowly and evenly
so washer makes a watertight seal. Do not overtighten or you
may crush the copper tubing, especially if soft (coiled) copper
tubing is used. Now you are ready to connect the copper
tubing.
7. Slip compression sleeve and compression nut on copper
tubing as shown. Insert end of tubing into outlet end squarely
as far as it will go. Screw compression nut onto outlet end
with adjustable wrench. Do not overtighten.
8. Place the free end of the tubing into a container or sink, and
turn ON main water supply and flush out tubing until water is
clear. Turn OFF shutoff valve on the water pipe. Coil copper
tubing.
Connect to Refrigerator
NOTE: On kit models, assemble water valve to refrigerator per kit
instructions.

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Attach the copper tube to the valve inlet using a compression
nut and sleeve as shown. Tighten the compression nut. Do not
overtighten.
3. Use the tube clamp on the back of the refrigerator to secure
the tubing to the refrigerator as shown. This will help prevent
damage to the tubing when the refrigerator is pushed back
against the wall.
4. Turn shutoff valve ON.
5. Check for leaks. Tighten any connections (including
connections at the valve) or nuts that leak.

The ice maker is equipped with a built-in water strainer. If your
water conditions require a second water strainer, install it in
the 1/4"(6.35 mm) water line at either tube connection. Obtain
a water strainer from your nearest appliance dealer.
Style 2
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the tube clamp on the back of the product and
insert the copper tubing through the clamp as shown.
3. Attach the copper tube to the valve inlet using a compression
nut and sleeve as shown.
4. Tighten the compression nut. Do not overtighten. Reattach the
tube clamp and tube to the back of the cabinet.

1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Keep both doors closed until you are ready to lift them free
from the cabinet,
NOTE: Provide additional support for the doors while the
hinges are being moved, Do not depend on the door magnets

3. Remove the parts for the top hinge as shown in Top Hinge
graphic.
4. Lift the freezer door free from the cabinet.
5. Remove the parts for the center hinge as shown in the Center

IMPORTANT: If you want to reverse your doors so that they open

1. Remove 5/16"hex-head hinge screws from handle side and
move them to opposite side, See Graphic 1-1.
2. Remove cabinet hinge hole plugs from cabinet top and
move them to opposite side hinge holes as shown,
See Graphic 1-2.
Freezer door
1. Remove freezer handle assembly as shown, Keep all parts
together. See Graphic 2.
2. Remove door hinge hole plug, Move to opposite side as
shown, See Graphic 3,
3. Remove door handle sealing screws. Move to opposite side of
freezer door as shown, See Graphic 4,
4. Remove door stop, Move to opposite side of freezer door as
shown. See Graphic 5,
5. Position freezer handle on opposite side of freezer door.
Assemble handle on door as shown. See Graphic 2,
6. Tighten all screws, Set aside door until hinges and refrigerator
compartment door are in place.
Refrigerator door
1. Remove the screw cover. See Graphic 6.
2. Remove refrigerator handle assembly as shown. Keep all
parts together. See Graphic 6.
3. Remove door hinge hole plug from refrigerator door. Move to
opposite side hinge hole as shown. See Graphic 3.
4. Remove door handle sealing screws. Move to opposite side of
refrigerator door as shown. See Graphic 4.
5. Remove door handle seal screw front. Move to opposite side
of refrigerator door as shown. See Graphic 7,
6. Remove door stop. Move to opposite side of refrigerator door
as shown. See Graphic 5.
7. Position refrigerator handle on opposite side of the refrigerator
door as shown. See Graphic 6. Drive top two screws in handle
first. Align lower portion of handle and drive bottom screw,
8. Replace screw cover. See Graphic 6,
9. Tighten all screws. Set aside refrigerator door until bottom
hinge is installed on refrigerator.
Door and Hinge Replacement
NOTE: Graphic may be reversed if door swing is reversed.
1. Replace the parts for the bottom hinge as shown. Tighten
screws.
2. Replace the refrigerator door.
NOTE: Provide additional support for the doors while the
hinges are being moved. Do not depend on the door magnets
to hold the doors in place while you are working.
3. Assemble the parts for the center hinge as shown and tighten
all screws, See Center Hinge graphic.
4. Replace the freezer door.
5. Assemble the parts of the top hinge as shown. See Top Hinge
graphic, Do not tighten screws completely.
6. Line up the doors so that the bottom of the freezer door aligns
evenly with the top of the refrigerator door. Tighten all screws.
Final Steps
1. Check all holes to make sure that hole plugs and screws are in
place,

Your refrigerator has two front adjustable rollers - one on the right
and one on the left. Ifyour refrigerator seems unsteady or you
want the doors to close easier, adjust the refrigerator's tilt using
the instructions below.
Depending on your model, your refrigerator may have leveling
legs (Style 1) or leveling screws (Style 2). They are part of the front
roller assemblies which arefound at the base of the refrigerator on
either side.
1. Turn the leveling legs or leveling screws to the right to raise
that side of the refrigerator or to the left to lower that side. It
may take several turns to adjust the tilt of the refrigerator.
NOTE: Having someone push against the top of the
refrigerator takes some weight off the leveling screws and
rollers. This makes it easier to adjust the screws.
2. Open both doors again and be sure that they close as easily
as you like. If not, tilt the refrigerator slightly more to the rear
by turning both leveling screws to the right. It may take several
more turns, and you should turn both leveling screws the
same amount.

3. Using a level, be sure that the refrigerator is still level side to
side. Readjust if necessary.
REFRIGERATORUSE
For your convenience, your refrigerator controls are preset at the
factory. When you first install your refrigerator, make sure that the
controls are still preset to the mid-settings as shown.
NOTE: To turn your refrigerator off, turn the refrigerator control to
the word OFF or until the word OFF appears. Your product will not
cool when the refrigerator control is set to OFE

IMPORTANT:
Give your refrigerator time to cool down completely before
adding food. It is best to wait 24 hours before you put food
into the refrigerator.
If you add food before the refrigerator has cooled completely,
your food may spoil. Adjusting the Refrigerator and Freezer
Controls to a higher (colder) than recommended setting will
not cool the compartments any faster.
Adjusting Controls
The mid-settings indicated in the previous section should be
correct for normal household usage. The controls are set correctly
when milk or juice is as cold as you like and when ice cream is
firm.
If the temperature is too warm or too cold in the refrigerator or
freezer, first check the air vents to be sure they are not blocked.
If you need to adjust temperatures, use the settings listed in the
chart below as a guide. On models with two controls, adjust the
refrigerator temperature first. Wait at least 24 hours between
adjustments and then recheck the temperatures.

You can control the amount of humidity in the moisture-sealed
crisper. Adjust the control to any setting between LOW and HIGH.
LOW (open) for best storage of fruits and vegetables with skins.
HIGH (closed) for best storage of fresh, leafy vegetables.

Turning the Ice Maker On/Off
To turn the ice maker ON, simply lower the wire shutoff arm.
To manually turn the ice maker OFF, lift the wire shutoff arm to the
OFF (arm up) position and listen for the click.
NOTE: Your ice maker has an automatic shutoff. As ice is made,
the ice cubes will fill the ice storage bin and the ice cubes will
raise the wire shutoff arm to the OFF (arm up) position. Do not
force the wire shutoff arm up or down.
Ice Production Rate
Allow 24 hours to produce the first batch of ice. Discard the
first three batches of ice produced.
The ice maker should produce approximately 8 to 12 batches
of ice in a 24-hour period.
To increase ice production, lower the freezer and refrigerator
temperature. See "Using the Controls." Wait 24 hours
between adjustments.
For maximum ice production (on some models), push the
switch to ICE PLUS. The ice maker should produce 16 to
20 batches of ice in a 24-hour period in the Ice Plus mode.
Remember
The quality of your ice will be only as good as the quality of the
water supplied to your ice maker. Avoid connecting the ice
maker to a softened water supply. Water softener chemicals
(such as salt) can damage parts of the ice maker and lead to
poor quality ice. If a softened water supply cannot be avoided,
make sure the water softener is operating properly and is well
maintained.
Do not use anything sharp to break up the ice in the bin. This
can cause damage to the ice container and the dispenser
mechanism.
Do not store anything on top of or in the ice maker or ice bin.

Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.
Both the refrigerator and freezer sections defrost automatically.
However, clean both sections about once a month to prevent
odors from building up. Wipe up spills immediately.
IMPORTANT: Because air circulates between both sections, any
odors formed in one section will transfer to the other. You must
thoroughly clean both sections to eliminate odors. To prevent
odor transfer and drying out of food, wrap or cover foods tightly.
To Clean Your Refrigerator:
NOTE: Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners such as window
sprays, scouring cleansers, flammable fluids, cleaning waxes,
concentrated detergents, bleaches or cleansers containing
petroleum products on plastic parts, interior and door liners or
gaskets. Do not use paper towels, scouring pads, or other harsh
cleaning tools.
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Hand wash, rinse, and dry removable parts and interior
surfaces thoroughly. Use a clean sponge or soft cloth and a
mild detergent in warm water.
3. Wash painted metal exteriors with a clean sponge or soft cloth
and a mild detergent in warm water. Dry thoroughly with asoft
cloth.
4. Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.
NOTE: Not all appliance bulbs will fit your refrigerator. Be sure to
replace the bulb with one of the same size, shape, and wattage.
1. Unplug refrigerator or disconnect power.
2. Reach behind the control panel and unscrew the bulb.
3. Replace the bulb with a 40-watt appliance bulb.
4. Plug in refrigerator or reconnect power.

Are controls on? Make sure the refrigerator controls are on.

New installation? Allow 24 hours following installation for the
refrigerator to cool completely.
NOTE: Adjusting the temperature controls to coldest setting
will not cool either compartment more quickly.
The motor seems to run too much
Your new refrigerator may run longer than your old one due to its
high-efficiency compressor and fans. The unit may run even
longer if the room is warm, a large food load is added, doors are
opened often, or if the doors have been left open.
The refrigerator seems noisy
Refrigerator noise has been reduced over the years. Due to this
reduction, you may hear intermittent noises from your new
refrigerator that you did not notice from your old model. Below are
listed some normal sounds with explanations.
Buzzing - heard when the water valve opens to fill the ice
maker.
Pulsating - fans/compressor adjusting to optimize
performance.
Hissing/Rattling - flow of refrigerant, movement of water
lines, or from items placed on top of the refrigerator.
Sizzling/Gurgling - water dripping on the heater during
defrost cycle.
Popping - contraction/expansion of inside walls, especially
during initial cool-down.
Water running - may be heard when water melts during the
defrost cycle and runs into the drain pan.
Creaking/Cracking - occurs as ice is being ejected from the
ice maker mold.
The doors will not close completely
Door blocked open? Move food packages away from door.
Bin or shelf in the way? Push bin or shelf back in the correct
position.
Crisper cover in the way? Make sure the crisper cover is
pushed in fully, so that the back rests on the supports.
The doors are difficult to open
Gaskets dirty or sticky? Clean gaskets and contact surfaces
with mild soap and warm water. Rinse and dry with soft cloth.
The lights do not work
Is a light bulb loose in the socket or burned out? See
"Changing the Light Bulbs."
Temperature is too warm
New installation? Allow 24 hours following installation for the
refrigerator to cool completely.
Door(s) opened often or left open? Allows warm air to enter
refrigerator. Minimize door openings and keep doors fully
closed.
Large load of food added? Allow several hours for
refrigerator to return to normal temperature.
Controls set correctly for the surrounding conditions?
Adjust the controls a setting colder. Check temperature in
24 hours. See "Using the Controls."
There is interior moisture buildup
NOTE: Some moisture build-up is normal.
Humid room? Contributes to moisture build-up.
Door(s) opened often or left open? Allows humid air to enter
refrigerator. Minimize door openings and keep doors fully
closed.

Refrigerator connected to a water supply and the supply
shutoff valve turned on? Connect refrigerator to water

Ice maker turned on? Make sure wire shutoff arm or switch
(depending on model) is in the ON position,
New installation? Wait 24 hours after ice maker installation
for ice production to begin. Wait 72 hours for full ice

Ice cube jammed in the ice maker ejector arm?
Remove ice from the ejector arm with a plastic utensil.

Nettoyage avant rutilisation
Apres avoir enleve tousles materiaux d'emballage, nettoyer

Une source d'alimentation de 115 volts, 60 Hz, type 15 ou
20 amperes CA seulement, protegee par fusible et adequatement
mise a la terre, est necessaire. IIest recommande d'utiliser un
circuit distinct pour alimenter uniquement votre refrigerateur.
Utiliser une prise murale qui ne peut pas _tre mise hors circuit
I'aide d'un commutateur. Ne pas utiliser un c&ble de rallonge.
REMARQUE : Avant d'executer tout type d'installation, nettoyage

Tourne-ecrou de 1/4" a la terre)
REMARQUE : Votre marchand de refrigerateurs presente une
trousse disponible avec un robinet d'arr_t a etrier de 1/4"
(6,35 mm), un raccord et un tube en cuivre. Avant I'achat,
s'assurer que le robinet d'arr_t a etrier est conforme a vos codes
Iocaux de plomberie. Ne pas employer de robinet d'arr_t & etrier
de 3/16"(4,76 mm) ou de type &percer, ce qui reduit le debit d'eau
et cause une obstruction plus facilement.
IMPORTANT:
Toutes les installations doivent 6tre conformes aux exigences
des codes Iocaux de plomberie.
Utiliser un tube en cuivre et verifier s'il y a des fuites. Installer
les tubes en cuivre seulement a des endroits or'4la

Pression de I'eau
Une alimentation en eau froide avec une pression entre 30 et
120 Ib/po 2(207 - 827 kPa) est necessaire pour faire fonctionner le
distributeur d'eau et la machine a glagons. Si vous avez des
questions au sujet de la pression de votre eau, appeler un
plombier qualifie agree.
Alimentation en eau par osmose inverse
IMPORTANT : La pression de I'alimentation en eau entre le
systeme d'osmose inverse et la valve d'arrivee d'eau du
refrigerateur dolt _tre entre 30 et 120 Ib/po _(207 - 827 kPa).
Si un systeme de purification de I'eau par osmose inverse est
raccorde &votre alimentation en eau froide, la pression de I'eau
au syst_me dolt _tre d'un minimum de 40 a 60 Ib/po _(276 -
414 kPa).
Si la pression de I'eau au systeme d'osmose inverse est inferieure
40 - 60 Ib/po 2(276 - 414 kPa) :
Verifier pour voir si le filtre a sediments du syst_me d'osmose
inverse est bloque et le remplacer si n_cessaire.
Laisser le reservoir du systeme d'osmose inverse se remplir
apres une utilisation intense.
Si vous avez des questions au sujet de la pression de votre eau,
appeler un plombier qualifie agree.
Lire toutes les instructions avant de commencer.
IMPORTANT: Si on met en marche le refrigerateur avant son
raccordement a la canalisation d'eau, placer la commande de la
machine a glagons a la position OFF (arr_t).
Raccordement _ une canalisation d'eau
1. Debrancher le refrigerateur ou deconnecter la source de
courant electrique.
2. FERMER le robinet principal d'arrivee d'eau. OUVRIR le
robinet de puisage le plus proche pendant une periode
suffisante pour que la canalisation d'eau se vide.
3. Trouver une canalisation d'eau FROIDE verticale de 1/=,,a 11/4''
(1,27 a 3,18 cm) pres du refrigerateur.
IMPORTANT :
S'assurer qu'il s'agit d'une canalisation d'eau froide.
Un conduit horizontal fonctionnera mais percer par le
dessus de la canalisation et non pas par le dessous. Ainsi,
I'eau ne risquera pas d'arroser la perceuse et ceci
emp_chera egalement les s_diments qu'on trouve
normalement dans I'eau de s'accumuler dans le robinet
d'arr_t.
4. Determiner la Iongueur du tube en cuivre necessaire. Mesurer
la distance entre le point de connexion inferieur gauche
I'arriere du refrigerateur et le tuyau d'arrivee d'eau. Ajouter
une Iongueur de 7 pi (2,1 m) pour permettre le nettoyage.
Utiliser un tube en cuivre de 1/4"(6,35 mm) de diametre
exterieur. Veiller ace que le tube soit coupe d'equerre aux
deux extremites.
5. /_,I'aide d'une perceuse electrique reliee a la terre, percer un
trou de 1/_,,(6,35 mm) dans le tuyau de canalisation d'eau
froide choisie.

Fixer le robinet sur lacanalisation d'eau froide avec la bride de
prise en charge. Verifier que le raccord du robinet est bien
engage dans le trou de 1/_,,(6,35 mm) perce dans la
canalisation et que la rondelle d'etancheite est placee sous la
bride de prise en charge. Serrer I'ecrou de serrage sur la tige
du robinet. Serrer lentement et uniform_ment les vis fixant la
bride de prise en charge sur la tuyauterie afin que la rondelle
forme une jonction etanche. Ne pas serrer excessivement car
ceci pourrait provoquer I'ecrasement du tube en cuivre,
particulierement s'il s'agit d'un tube en cuivre malleable (en
spirale). On est maintenant pr_t a connecter le tube de
raccordement en cuivre.

7. Enfiler I'ecrou et la bague de compression du raccord sur le
tube en cuivre comme on le volt sur I'illustration. Inserer
I'extremit6 du tube aussi loin que possible dans I'ouverture de
sortie du robinet. Visser I'ecrou du raccord de compression
sur le raccord de sortie avec une cle a molette reglable. Ne
pas serrer excessivement.
8. Placer le bout libre du tube dans un recipient ou evier et
OUVRIR le robinet principal d'arrivee d'eau et laisser I'eau
s'ecouler par le tube jusqu'a ce que I'eau soit limpide.
FERMER le robinet principal d'arrivee d'eau. Enrouler le tube
en cuivre en spirale.
Raccordement au r_frig_rateur
REMARQUE : Pour les modeles en kit, installer la valve d'entree
d'eau sur le refrigerateur conformement aux instructions du kit.
Style 1
1. Debrancher le refrigerateur ou deconnecter la source de
courant electrique.
2. Connecter le tube en cuivre au robinet d'eau en utilisant un
ecrou et une bague de compression tel qu'illustr& Serrer
I'ecrou de compression. Ne pas serrer excessivement.
3. Utiliser la bride du tube a I'arriere du refrigerateur pour fixer le
tube au refrigerateur tel qu'illustr& Ceci aidera &emp_cher les
dommages au tube Iorsque le refrigerateur est pousse contre
le mur.
4. OUVRIR le robinet d'arr_t.
5. Inspecter pour rechercher les fuites. Serrer tousles raccords
(y compris les raccordements de la valve d'entree d'eau) ou
les ecrous qui coulent.

D_pose - Portes et charni_res
Vis de chamiere a tete hexagonale de 5/_,,
1. Debrancher le refrigerateur ou deconnecter la source
de courant electrique.
2. Maintenir les deux portes fermees jusqu'au moment ou on est
pr_t ales separer de la caisse de I'appareil.
REMARQUE : Prevoir un support additionnel des portes
pendant la depose des charnieres. La force d'attraction des
aimants des portes ne suffit pas ales maintenir en place.
3. Enlever les pieces de la charniere superieure. Voir I'illustration
de la charniere superieure.
4. Soulever la porte du compartiment de congelation pour la
separer de la caisse.
5. Enlever les pieces de la charniere centrale. Voir I'illustration de
la charniere centrale.
6. Soulever la porte du refrig6rateur pour la separer de la caisse.
7. Enlever les pieces de la charniere inferieure - voir I'illustration
de la charniere inferieure.
IMPORTANT : Si on souhaite inverser la position des portes pour
pouvoir les ouvrir dans la direction opposee, proceder comme
suit. S'il n'est pas necessaire de changer I'orientation des portes,
voir la section "Reinstallation - Portes et charnieres".

Enlever les bouchons d'obturation des trous au sommet de la
caisse; transferer ceux-ci dans les trous de charniere du c6te
oppose. Voir I'illustration 1-2.
Porte du compartiment de cong_lation
1. Enlever la poignee de la porte du compartiment de
congelation. Conserver toutes les pieces ensemble. Voir
I'illustration 2.
2. Enlever le bouchon d'obturation du trou de charniere de porte.
Transferer le bouchon du c6te oppose. Voir I'illustration 3.
3. Enlever les vis de scellement de la poignee de la porte.
Transferer ces vis du c6te oppose de la porte du

4. Enlever la butee de porte. Transferer la butee du c6te oppose
de la porte du compartiment de congelation. Voir

5. Positionner la poignee du compartiment de congelation du
c6te oppose de la porte. Fixer la poignee sur la porte. Voir

6. Serrer toutes les vis. Conserver laporte & part jusqu'a la mise
en place des charnieres de la porte du compartiment de
refrigeration.
Porte du compartiment de r_frig_ration
1. Enlever le couvre-vis. Voir I'illustration 6.
2. Enlever la poignee de la porte du compartiment de
refrigeration. Voir I'illustration. Conserver toutes les pieces
ensemble. Voir I'illustration 6.
3. Enlever le bouchon d'obturation du trou de charniere de porte
du refrigerateur. Transferer le bouchon d'obturation au trou du
c6te oppose. Voir I'illustration 3.
4. Enlever les vis de scellement de la poignee de la porte.
Transferer ces vis du c6te oppose de la porte du refrigerateur.

5. Enlever la vis frontale de scellement de la poignee de porte.
Transferer du c6te oppose de la porte du refrigerateur. Voir
I'illustration 7.
6. Enlever la butee de porte. Transferer la piece du c6te oppose
de la porte du refrigerateur. Voir I'illustration 5.
7. Positionner la poignee de porte du refrigerateur sur le c6te
oppose de la porte. Voir I'illustration 6. Placer d'abord les
deux vis sup_rieures de la poignee. Aligner la pattie inferieure
de la poignee, puis visser la vis inferieure.
8. Reinstaller le couvre-vis. Voir I'illustration 6.
9. Serrer toutes les vis. Conserver la porte du rdrigerateur a part
jusqu'a ce que la charniere inferieure soit installee sur
le refrigerateur.
R_installation - Portes et charni_res
REMARQUE :Si on inverse le sens d'ouverture des portes,
cons/deter I'image symetrique.
1. Reinstaller les pieces de la charniere inferieure. Voir
I'illustration. Serrer les vis.
2. Reinstaller la porte du compartiment de refrigeration.
REMARQUE : Prevoir un support additionnel des portes
pendant la reinstallation des charnieres. La force d'attraction
des aimants des portes ne suffit pas ales maintenir en place.
3. Assembler les pieces de la charniere centrale. Voir
I'illustration. Serrer toutes les vis. Voir I'illustration de
la charniere centrale.
4. Reinstaller la porte du compartiment de congelation.
5. Assembler les pieces de la charniere superieure. Voir
I'illustration - charniere superieure. Ne pas completement
serrer les vis.
6. Aligner correctement les portes au niveau de la separation
entre le bas de la porte du compartiment de congelation et
le sommet de la porte du refrigerateur. Setter toutes les vis.

Votre refrigerateur comporte deux roulettes reglables &I'avant -
I'une du c6te droit et I'autre du c6te gauche. Si votre refrigerateur
semble instable ou si vous desirez que les portes se ferment plus
facilement, faire le reglage de I'inclinaison du refrigerateur en
suivant les instructions ci-dessous.
Selon votre modele, le refrigerateur peut disposer de pieds de
nivellement (Style 1) ou de vis de nivellement (Style 2). IIs font
pattie d'un montage de roulettes avant qui sent & la base du
refrigerateur d'un c6te et de I'autre.
1. Tourner les pieds ou vis de nivellement vers la droite pour
soulever ce c6te du refrigerateur ou vers la gauche pour
abaisser ce c6t& Plusieurs tours peuvent _tre necessaires
pour regler I'inclinaison du refrigerateur.
REMARQUE : Si une autre personne pousse le haut du
refrigerateur, le poids devient moins Iourd sur les vis de
nivellement et les roulettes, ce qui rend plus facile I'ajustement
des vis.

Ouvrir & nouveau les deux portes et verifier qu'elles ferment
aussi facilement que vous le desirez. Si ce n'est pas le cas,
incliner le refrigerateur un peu plus vers I'arriere en tournant
les deux vis de nivellement vers la droite. Plusieurs tours
peuvent _tre necessaires et il convient de tourner les deux vis
de nivellement de fagon egale.

UTILISATION

DU REFRIGERATEUR
Pour vous accommoder, les commandes du refrigerateur ont ete
prereglees a I'usine. Au moment de I'installation initiale du
refrigerateur, s'assurer que les commandes sont encore
prereglees aux reglages moyens tel qu'illustr&
REMARQUE : Pour eteindre le refrigerateur, tourner le reglage au
mot OFF ou jusqu'a ce que le mot OFF (arr_t) apparaisse. Votre
appareil ne se refroidira pas Iorsque la commande du refrigerateur
est reglee a OFF (arr_t).

IMPORTANT:
Donner au refrigerateur le temps de se refroidir completement
avant d'y ajouter des aliments. IIvaut mieux attendre
24 heures avant de placer des aliments dans le refrigerateur.
Si vous ajoutez des aliments avant que le refrigerateur n'ait
completement refroidi, vos aliments peuvent se g&ter. Tourner
les reglages du refrigerateur et du congelateur a un niveau
plus eleve (plus froid) que les reglages recommandes ne
refroidira pas les compartiments plus vite.
Ajustement des commandes
Les reglages moyens indiques a la section precedente devraient
_tre corrects pour I'utilisation normale du refrigerateur
domestique. Les reglages sont faits correctement Iorsque le lait
ou le jus est aussi froid que vous I'aimez et Iorsque la creme
glacee est ferme.
Si la temperature est trop tiede ou trop froide dans le refrigerateur
ou le congelateur, verifier d'abord les events pour vous assurer
qu'ils ne sont pas bloques.
S'il est necessaire d'ajuster les temperatures, utiliser les reglages
indiques au tableau ci-dessous comme guide. Sur les modeles
deux commandes, ajuster d'abord la temperature du refrigerateur.
Attendre au moins 24 heures entre les ajustements, puis reverifier
les temperatures.

On peut contr61er le degre d'humidite dans le bac a legumes
etanche. La commande peut _tre ajustee a n'importe quel reglage
entre LOW et HIGH.
LOW/bas (ouvert) pour une meilleure conservation des fruits et
legumes a pelures.
I-IIGl-I/haut (ferme) pour une meilleure conservation des legumes
feuilles frais.
Mise en marche/arr_t de la machine & gla_ons
Pour mettre la machine a glagons en marche, il suffit d'abaisser le
bras de commande en broche.
Pour arr_ter manuellement la machine a gla(_ons, soulever le bras
de commande en broche a la position OFF (elevee) et attendre le
clic.
REMARQUE :Votre machine a glagons a un arr_t automatique.
Au fur eta mesure de la fabrication de la glace, les glagons
remplissent le bac d'entreposage de glagons. Les glagons
soulevent le bras de commande en broche a la position OFF
(elevee). Ne pas forcer le commutateur du bras en broche vers le
haut ou vers le bas.
Taux de production des glaqons
Accorder 24 heures pour produire la premiere quantite de
glagons. Jeter les trois premieres quantites de glagons
produites.
La machine a glat_ons devrait produire environ 8 a 12 lots de
glagons au cours d'une periode de 24 heures.
Pour augmenter la production de glagons, diminuer la
temperature du congelateur et du refrigerateur. Voir
"Utilisation des commandes". Attendre 24 heures entre les
ajustements.
Pour une production de glagons maximale (sur certains
modeles), tourner I'interrupteur a ICE PLUS. La machine
glagons devrait produire environ 16 a 20 lots de gla(_ons au
cours d'une periode de 24 heures en mode Ice Plus.
