Instruction booklet
This symbol reminds you to read this
instruction manual.
Keep this manual at hand for immediate reference whenever
necessary. Always store this manual close to the tumble dryer and
remember to pass it on to any new owners when selling or tran-
sferring the appliance, so they may familiarise with the warnings
and suggestions herein contained.
Read these instructions carefully: the following pages contain
important information on installation and useful suggestions for
operating the appliance.

Where to install the tumble dryer
If the dryer is installed below a worktop,
ensure there are 10
mm between the upper
panel of the dryer and
any objects above it,
and 15 mm between
the sides of the machine
and the walls or furniture
units adjacent to it.
This ensures adequate
air circulation. Make
sure the air inlets on the rear panel are not
blocked or obstructed.
Ventilation
This appliance gently dries laundry by taking in cold, clean
and relatively dry air, heating it and passing it through the
fabric. To facilitate the drying process, damp air is expelled
at the rear, through a ventilation hose. When the dryer is in
use, there has to be adequate ventilation to avoid a back
flow of gases into the room from appliances burning other
fuels, including open fires.
Mobile ventilation system
When using the tumble dryer with the mobile ventilation
system, a ventilation hose must be connected. The hose
should be securely fastened to the ventilation hole at the
rear of the appliance (see “Description of the tumble dryer”).
We recommend the hose is connected to an outlet near
the tumble dryer, if possible. If it cannot be installed in a
permanent spot, the tumble dryer will still function perfectly
well if the ventilation hose is passed through a partially-
opened window.
Make sure you do not point the ventilation hose towards the
air inlet, which is located on the rear of the appliance.
The ventilation hose should not exceed a maximum length
of 2.4 metres; it should also be shaken frequently to remove
any fluff, dust or water deposits inside it. Make sure you do
not crush the hose.The hose supplied has an oval section
to aid installation.
Fixed ventilation kit
We recommend the ventilation hose is connected to a
ventilation kit for windows or doors, available from the retailer
which originally sold you the appliance or from your local
spare parts stockist.
Wall ventilation hole
1. Leave an opening in the wall.
2. Make the hose as short and
straight as possible, in order
to prevent any moisture from
condensing and leaking back
into the appliance.
3. The hole in the wall must
also be straight and pointing
downwards, so that the flow of
air coming out is not impeded.
Areas A and B should be checked frequently, to prevent the
accumulation of fluff or debris, particularly if the tumble dryer
is used very often. The hose adaptor must be fitted correctly,
in order to prevent damp air from coming back into the room.
GUIDE TO FITTING THE VENT HOSE TO YOUR DRYER
Remove ovel-shaped

you require to reduce
the length of the hose
please wear gloves when cutting the hose.
Pull to expand the end
of the Ventilation hose
prior to fitting.If the hose
has not been expanded,
the jubilee clip will not
clamp the hose to the
adaptor.
Place one of the the
jubilee clips over the
end of the extended
vent hose. The second
jubilee clip can be used
to secure the opposite
end of the vent hose to
a wall mounting kit (not supplied).
Clamp the ventilation
hose to the rear vent
outlet by tightening
the jubilee clip with a
screwdriver. If the hose
has not been expanded,
the clip will not clamp
the hose to the rear vent outlet.
The tumble dryer may protrude further forward from the
worktop. Please do not push the tumble dryer too far
backwar.
Ventilation hole
The ventilation hole should be directly behind the dryer in
order to keep the hose as short as possible.
Make sure you do not push the tumble dryer too far
backwards, as this could lead to the ventilation hose being
crushed, bent or even disconnected.
There should be no cuts, kinks or “U”-shaped bends
in the hose, as these could impede ventilation or trap
condensation.
The end of the hose must be facing downwards, in order to
prevent the hot, damp air from forming condensation in the
room or the tumble dryer.
Make sure that the tumble dryer is adequately ventilated,
and that the end of the ventilation hose is not pointing
towards the air inlet pipe on the rear of the appliance.
The ventilation hose must always be fitted to ensure
optimum performance. The hose will need to be expanded to
be fitted and clamped.
Make sure that the ventilation hose, air inlet vents, and outlets
are not obstructed or blocked.
Do not let the tumble dryer recirculate exhaust air.
Improper use of the tumble dryer may result in fire hazards.
Ventilation
The air emitted by the tumble dryer must not be expelled in
the same duct as used for the fumes produced by different
appliances which burn gas or other fuels.
Do not discharge the exhaust air into an extraction system
or any duct with an extractor fan. This will affect the way the
thermal controls operate and can result in a fire hazard.
Make sure that the room in which the
tumble dryer is installed is not damp, and
that it is adequately ventilated.
We do not recommend that the dryer is
installed in a cupboard but the dryer must
never be installed behind a lockable door, a
sliding door or a door with a hinge on the
opposite side to that of the dryer door.
The appliance must be installed with the
rear surface placed against a wall.
Electrical connections
Before plugging the appliance into the socket,
check the following:
Make sure your hands are dry.
The socket must have an earth connection.
The socket must be able to withstand the
machine’s maximum power output as
indicated on the rating plate (see Description of
the tumble dryer).
The power supply voltage must fall within the
values indicated on the rating plate (see
Description of the tumble dryer).
Do not use extension leads. Do not pull the
power supply cable. Do not use multiple plug
adaptors if the appliance is fitted with a plug.
For appliances with fitted plug, if the plug is not
suitable for you socket outlet, contact a
qualified technician.
The dryer must not be installed
outdoors, even if the space is sheltered.
Once installed, the dryer’s electrical wire
and plug must be within reach.
The power cord must not be bent or
squashed.
If the plug being replaced is a non-
rewirable type, then the cut-off plug must
be disposed of safely. DO NOT leave it
where it can be inserted into a socket and
create a shock hazard.
The electric cord must be regularly
checked. If the supply cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by service agent.
(see
Service).
The manufacturer denies any
responsibility should any of these rules not
be followed.
If in doubt about any of the above
consult a qualifi ed electrician.
Levelling the tumble dryer
The tumble dryer should be installed level in order to
operate correctly.
After installing the tumble dryer in its permanent
position, make sure it is level; check its side-to-side
levelling first, followed by front-to-back.
If the tumble dryer is not perfectly level, use a wooden
block to support it while you adjust the two front feet,
up or down as necessary.
Before you start your dryer
Once the tumble dryer is installed, clean the inside
of the drum before operating it and remove any dirt
accumulated during transportation.

Where to install the tumble dryer

Clamp the ventilation

screwdriver. If the hose
has not been expanded,
the clip will not clamp
the hose to the rear vent outlet.

the pile height would prevent air from
entering the dryer from the base.
• Check to see if the dryer is empty before
loading it.

warm items inside.

result in damage.

and been through the spin cycle. It is a fire
hazard to dry items that HAVE NOT been
washed with water.
• �Do not dry garments that have been
treated with chemical products.
• Do not tumble dry items that have
been spotted or soaked with vegetable
or cooking oils, this constitutes a fire
hazard. Oil-affected items can ignite
spontaneously,especially when exposed
to heat sources such as a tumble dryer.
The items become warm, causing
an oxidisation reaction with the oil,
Oxidisation creates heat. If the heat
cannot escape, items can become hot
enough to catch fire. Piling, stacking or
storing oil-effected items can prevent heat
from escaping and so create a fire hazard.
If it is unavoidable that fabrics containing
vegetable or cooking oil or those that have
been contaminated with hair care products
be placed in a tumble dryer they should
first be washed with extra detergent - this
will reduce, but not eliminate the hazard.
They should not be removed from the
dryer and piled or stacked while hot.
• Do not tumble dry items that have
previously been cleaned in or washed in,
soaked in or soiled with petrol/gasoline,
dry cleaning solvents or other flammable
or explosive substances. Highly flammable
substances commonly used in domestic
environments including cooking oil,
acetone, denatured alcohol, kerosene,
spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax
removers. Ensure these items have been
washed in hot water with an extra amount
of detergent before being dried in the
tumble dryer.
• �Do not tumble dry items containing foam
rubber (also known as latex foam), or
similarly textured rubber like materials.
Foam rubber materials can, when heated,
produce fire by spontaneous combustion.
• �Fabric softener or similar products should
not be used in a tumble dryer to eliminate
the effects of static electricity unless the
practice is specifically recommended by
the manufacturer of the fabric softener
product.
• Do not tumble dry undergarments that
contain metal reinforcements eg. bras
with metal reinforcing wires. Damage to
the tumble dryer can result if the metal
reinforcements come loose during drying.
• Do not tumble dry rubber, plastic articles
such as shower caps or babies waterproof
covers, polythene or paper.
• Do not tumble dry rubber backed articles,
clothes fitted with foam rubber pads,
pillows, galoshes and rubber coated tennis
shoes.
• Remove all objects from pockets such as
lighters and matches.
WARNING: Never stop the dryer before the
end of the drying cycle unless all items are
quickly removed and spread out so that the
heat is dissipated.
Save energy and respect the environment
• Wring out all items to eliminate excess water before
tumble drying (if you use a washing machine first, select
a high spin cycle). Doing this will save time and energy
during drying.
• Always dry full loads - you save energy: single items or
small loads take longer to dry.
• Clean the filter after each use to contain energy
consumption costs (see Maintenance).
Fire Hazard
!
Use a Flexible metal vent tube.
Do not use a plastic vent tube.
Do not block or obstruct the tube in installation.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in
death or fire.

Choosing a Programme
1. Plug the dryer into the electrical socket.
2. Sort your laundry according to fabric type (see Laundry).
3. Open the door and make sure the filter is clean and in place (see Care and maintenance).
4. Load the machine and make sure that the items are not in the way of the door seal. Close the door.
5. Choose the drying time by checking the Drying Guide table for the type of fabric you are drying (see Laundry).
- Set the temperature with the HEAT button..
- Select a drying time by rotating the TIMER knob clockwise.
6. Press the START button to begin.During the drying programme, you can check on your laundry and take out
the items that are dry while the others continue drying. When you close the door again, press START in order to
resume drying.
7. During the last few minutes of Drying Programmes before the programme is completed, the final COOL TUMBLE
phase is entered (fabrics are cooled), this phase should always be allowed to complete.
8. Open the door, take the laundry out, clean the filter and replace it (see Care and maintenance).
9. Unplug the dryer.

• The temperature setting is not ideal for the type of fabric you are drying (see Start

• The correct programme has not been selected for the load (see Start and

• The flexible ventilation hose may be blocked (see Installation).
• The air inlet may be blocked or obstructed (see Installation).
• The fixed ventilation flap, on the protective weatherproof cover, may be obstructed

• The items were too wet (see Laundry).

Information on recycling and disposal

Où installer le sèche-linge
Si vous installez cet
appareil sous un plan
de travail, faites en sorte
de laisser un espace de
10 mm entre le dessus

dessus de celui-ci, et

éléments d’ameublement ou les murs latéraux.
Ceci a pour objectif d’assurer une ventilation
convenable.
Ventilation
Cet appareil électroménager sèche le linge grâce à
l’émission d’air froid, propre et relativement sec. L’air est
ensuite réchauffé et passe à travers les tissus qui sont ainsi
délicatement séchés. Pour faciliter le séchage, l’air humide
est expulsé au niveau de la face arrière dans un tuyau
d’aération. Il est essentiel que l’environnement dans lequel le
sèche-linge est utilisé soit suffisamment aéré afin de pouvoir
éviter le recyclage des gaz brûlés.
Système d’aération mobile
En cas d’utilisation du sèche-linge avec le système d’aération
mobile, l’installation d’un tuyau d’aération est nécessaire. Le
tuyau est solidement fixé à l’orifice de ventilation postérieur
du sèche-linge (voir le chapitre Description du produit). Dans
la mesure du possible, il est conseillé de relier le tuyau à la
décharge se trouvant à proximité du sèche-linge. Même
s’il n’est pas installé définitivement, le sèche-linge donnera
d’excellents résultats lorsque le tuyau d’aération est orienté
vers une fenêtre entrouverte. Veiller à ne pas orienter le tuyau
d’aération vers la prise d’air qui se trouve à l’arrière du
sèche-linge. Le tuyau d’aération ne doit pas dépasser les
2,4 mètres. Il doit être régulièrement secoué avant de retirer
les dépôts éventuels de déchets de laine, de poussière et
l’eau. Faites attention à ne pas marcher sur le tuyau. Le
tuyau fourni a une section ovale pour faciliter l’installation.

Nous recommandons de connecter le tuyau de ventilation
à un kit de ventilation pour les fenêtres ou les portes,
disponible chez le revendeur qui vous a vendu l’appareil

Trou d’aération
Le trou d’aération devrait se trouver directement derrière
le sèche-linge de façon à ce que le câble soit le plus court
possible. Veiller à ne pas placer le sèche-linge trop en
retrait car il risquerait d’écraser, plier voire débrancher le
tuyau d’aération. Le tuyau doit être dépourvu de coupures,
d’étranglements ou de courbes en U susceptibles
d’empêcher la ventilation ou favoriser la condensation.
Aération
L’extrémité du tuyau doit être orientée vers le bas de sorte à
éviter que l’air chaud humide puisse se condenser dans la
pièce ou le sèche-linge.
S’assurer que le sèche-linge est suffisamment ventilé et que
l’extrémité du tuyau d’aération n’est pas tournée vers le
conduit de la prise d’air postérieure.
Installation
Pour un fonctionnement correct du sèche-linge, il est
indispensable de toujours installer le tuyau d’aération.
Le tuyau devra être étiré pour être installé et fixé.
Assurez-vous que le tuyau flexible de ventilation, les orifices
d’entrée d’air et les sorties ne sont ni obstrués ni bloqués.
Éviter que le sèche-linge puisse recycler l’air vicié.
Une utilisation inadéquate du sèche-linge risque de
provoquer un incendie.
Ne pas évacuer l’air dégagé par le sèche-linge dans le
conduit d’évacuation des fumées émises par des appareils
brûlant du gaz ou d’autres combustibles.
Ne pas éliminer l’air d’évacuation à travers un système
d’aspiration ou des ventilateurs canalisés pour éviter de
compromettre le fonctionnement du contrôle thermique,
entraînant un risque d’incendie.
Vérifier que l’environnement où le sèche-
linge est placé est dépourvu d’humidité et
permet le renouvellement de l’air.
Il n’est pas conseillé de placer le sèche-
linge à l’intérieur d’une armoire; par ailleurs,
ne jamais l’installer derrière une porte qui se
ferme à clé, une porte coulissante ou une
porte munie d’une charnière sur le côté
opposé du portillon du sèche-linge.
La surface arrière de l’appareil doit être
placée contre un mur.
Raccordement électrique
Assurez-vous des points suivants avant de
brancher la fiche de l’appareil dans la prise
de mains:
Assurez-vous d’avoir les mains sèches.
La prise de courant doit être reliée à la terre.
La prise de courant doit pouvoir supporter
la puissance maximale de la machine, qui
est indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de
l’appareil (voir Description du sèche-linge).
La tension électrique doit appartenir à la
gamme de valeurs indiquée sur la plaque
signalétique de l’appareil (voir Description
du sèche-linge).
N’utilisez pas de rallonges. Ne tirez pas
sur le câble d’alimentation. N’utilisez pas
de multiprises si l’appareil est muni d’une
fiche. Pour les appareils dotés d’une fiche,
si la fiche n’est pas adaptée à votre prise
de courant, contactez un technicien
qualifié.
Le sèche-linge ne doit pas être utilisé à
l’extérieur, même si l’espace en question est
abrité.
Une fois le sèche-linge installé, le cordon
d’alimentation et la fiche doivent être
d’accès facile.
Le cordon d’alimentation ne doit pas être
courbé ou écrasé.
Si la fiche à remplacer est de type
incorporée, il faut l’éliminer conformément aux
consignes de sécurité. Ne la laissez jamais
dans un endroit où elle peut être branchée à
une prise et provoquer ainsi un choc électrique.
Le câble électrique doit être contrôlé
périodiquement. Si le câble est endommagé,
il faut le faire remplacer par service après-
vente (voir Service après-vente).
Le fabricant rejette toute responsabilité
en cas de non-respect de toutes ou partie
de ces règles.
En cas de doute au sujet des points
précédents, consultez un électricien qualifi é.
Placement du sèche-linge de niveau
Le sèche-linge doit être installé sur une surface plane pour
un fonctionnement optimal.
Après avoir installé le sèche-linge dans sa position définitive,
contrôler s’il est placé de niveau dans le sens de la largeur
dans un premier temps et ensuite sur la profondeur.
Si le sèche-linge n’est pas de niveau, utiliser une cale de
bois pour le maintenir pendant le réglage des deux pieds
avant jusqu’à atteindre une position adéquate.
Informations préliminaires
Une fois que vous avez installé votre sèche-linge, et avant
de l’utiliser, nettoyez l’intérieur du tambour pour retirer les
poussières qui pourraient s’y être accumulées pendant le
transport.

Si vous installez cet
appareil sous un plan
de travail, faites en sorte
de laisser un espace de

Ceci a pour objectif d’assurer une ventilation
convenable.
Ventilation
Cet appareil électroménager sèche le linge grâce à
l’émission d’air froid, propre et relativement sec. L’air est
ensuite réchauffé et passe à travers les tissus qui sont ainsi
délicatement séchés. Pour faciliter le séchage, l’air humide
est expulsé au niveau de la face arrière dans un tuyau
d’aération. Il est essentiel que l’environnement dans lequel le
sèche-linge est utilisé soit suffisamment aéré afin de pouvoir
éviter le recyclage des gaz brûlés.
Système d’aération mobile
En cas d’utilisation du sèche-linge avec le système d’aération
mobile, l’installation d’un tuyau d’aération est nécessaire. Le
tuyau est solidement fixé à l’orifice de ventilation postérieur
du sèche-linge (voir le chapitre Description du produit). Dans
la mesure du possible, il est conseillé de relier le tuyau à la
décharge se trouvant à proximité du sèche-linge. Même
s’il n’est pas installé définitivement, le sèche-linge donnera
d’excellents résultats lorsque le tuyau d’aération est orienté
vers une fenêtre entrouverte. Veiller à ne pas orienter le tuyau
d’aération vers la prise d’air qui se trouve à l’arrière du
sèche-linge. Le tuyau d’aération ne doit pas dépasser les
2,4 mètres. Il doit être régulièrement secoué avant de retirer
les dépôts éventuels de déchets de laine, de poussière et
l’eau. Faites attention à ne pas marcher sur le tuyau. Le
tuyau fourni a une section ovale pour faciliter l’installation.
Kit de ventilation fi xe
Nous recommandons de connecter le tuyau de ventilation
à un kit de ventilation pour les fenêtres ou les portes,
disponible chez le revendeur qui vous a vendu l’appareil
d’origine ou chez votre vendeur local de pièces détachées.

imbibés d’huile végétale or de cuisson,
ils risqueraient de provoquer un incendie.
Les articles contenant de l’huile
peuvent prendre feu spontanément,
particulièrement lorsqu’ils sont exposés à
des sources de chaleur comme un sèche-
linge. En chauffant, les articles provoquent
une réaction d’oxydation avec l’huile
générant alors de la chaleur. Si la chaleur
ainsi générée ne peut pas être évacuée,
les articles peuvent devenir suffisamment
chauds pour prendre feu. Le fait d’empiler,
de superposer ou de stocker des articles
contenant de l’huile peut empêcher la
chaleur d’être évacuée et donc provoquer
un incendie. Si vous ne pouvez pas faire
autrement que de placer des articles
contenant de l’huile végétale ou de l’huile
de cuisson ou ayant été en contact avec
des produits coiffants dans le sèche-linge,
il convient de les laver au préalable à l’aide
d’une dose supplémentaire de détergent.
Cette précaution minimise, sans toutefois
l’éliminer, le risque d’incendie. Les articles
ne doivent pas être retirés du sèche-linge
et empilés ou superposés lorsqu’ils sont
chauds.
• Ne placez pas d’articles ayant été
préalablement nettoyés ou lavés, imbibés
ou tachés avec du pétrole/de l’essence,
des solvants de nettoyage à sec ou
d’autres substances inflammables ou
explosives. Les substances hautement
inflammables couramment utilisées
dans l’environnement domestique sont
notamment l’huile de cuisson, l’acétone,
l’alcool dénaturé, la kérosène, les
détachants, la térébenthine, les cires et
les produits permettant d’éliminer la cire.
Assurez-vous que ces articles ont été
lavés à l’eau chaude à l’aide d’une dose
supplémentaire de détergent avant de les
mettre à sécher dans le sèche-linge.
• Ne placez pas d’articles contenant du
caoutchouc mousse (également connu
sous l’appellation mousse de latex) ou
des matériaux similaires renfermant du
caoutchouc dans le sèche-linge. Les
matériaux contenant du caoutchouc
mousse peuvent, lorsqu’ils sont chauffés,
s’enflammer par combustion spontanée.
• Les produits assouplissants ou les produits
similaires ne doivent pas être utilisés dans
un sèche-linge en vue d’éliminer les effets
de l’électricité statique sauf si leur emploi
est spécifiquement recommandé par le
fabricant du produit assouplissant.
• Ne placez pas de sous-vêtements
contenant des renforts en métal comme les
soutiens-gorge à armature dans le sèche-
linge. Si les renforts en métal venaient à se
détacher pendant le séchage, ils pourraient
endommager le sèche- linge.
• Ne placez pas d’articles en caoutchouc
ou en plastiquedans le sèche-linge,
comme des bonnets de douche ou des
couvertures étanches pour bébé, des
articles en polyéthylène ou en papier.
• Ne placez pas d’articles contenant des
pièces de caoutchouc plaquées, des
vêtements présentant des pièces en
mousse de caoutchouc, des oreillers,
des bottes en caoutchouc et des tennis
recouvertes de caoutchouc dans le sèche-
linge.
• Ôtez briquet, allumettes et tout autre objet
des poches.
! ATTENTION: N’arrêtez pas le sèche-
linge avant la fi n du cycle de séchage si
vous n’avez pas la possibilité de retirer
rapidement tous les articles et de les
étendre pour évacuer la chaleur.
Économie d’énergie et protection de
l’environnement
• Essorez les articles pour éliminer l’eau en excès avant de
les passer au sèche-linge (si vous utilisez une machine à
laver, sélectionnez un cycle d’essorage à grande vitesse).
Ceci vous permettra d’économiser de l’énergie durant le
séchage.
• Séchez toujours des charges complètes – vous
économiserez de l’énergie : les articles uniques ou les
petites charges prennent plus longtemps à sécher.
• Nettoyez le filtre après chaque utilisation pour limiter les
coûts de consommation d’énergie (voir Entretien).

peuvent prendre feu spontanément,
particulièrement lorsqu’ils sont exposés à
des sources de chaleur comme un sèche-
linge. En chauffant, les articles provoquent
une réaction d’oxydation avec l’huile
générant alors de la chaleur. Si la chaleur
ainsi générée ne peut pas être évacuée,
les articles peuvent devenir suffisamment
chauds pour prendre feu. Le fait d’empiler,
de superposer ou de stocker des articles
contenant de l’huile peut empêcher la
chaleur d’être évacuée et donc provoquer
un incendie. Si vous ne pouvez pas faire
autrement que de placer des articles
contenant de l’huile végétale ou de l’huile
de cuisson ou ayant été en contact avec
des produits coiffants dans le sèche-linge,
il convient de les laver au préalable à l’aide
d’une dose supplémentaire de détergent.
Cette précaution minimise, sans toutefois
l’éliminer, le risque d’incendie. Les articles
ne doivent pas être retirés du sèche-linge
et empilés ou superposés lorsqu’ils sont
chauds.
• Ne placez pas d’articles ayant été
préalablement nettoyés ou lavés, imbibés
ou tachés avec du pétrole/de l’essence,
des solvants de nettoyage à sec ou
d’autres substances inflammables ou
explosives. Les substances hautement
inflammables couramment utilisées
dans l’environnement domestique sont
notamment l’huile de cuisson, l’acétone,
l’alcool dénaturé, la kérosène, les
détachants, la térébenthine, les cires et
les produits permettant d’éliminer la cire.
Assurez-vous que ces articles ont été
lavés à l’eau chaude à l’aide d’une dose
supplémentaire de détergent avant de les
mettre à sécher dans le sèche-linge.
• Ne placez pas d’articles contenant du
caoutchouc mousse (également connu
sous l’appellation mousse de latex) ou
des matériaux similaires renfermant du
caoutchouc dans le sèche-linge. Les
matériaux contenant du caoutchouc
mousse peuvent, lorsqu’ils sont chauffés,
s’enflammer par combustion spontanée.
• Les produits assouplissants ou les produits
similaires ne doivent pas être utilisés dans
un sèche-linge en vue d’éliminer les effets
de l’électricité statique sauf si leur emploi
est spécifiquement recommandé par le
fabricant du produit assouplissant.
• Ne placez pas de sous-vêtements
contenant des renforts en métal comme les
soutiens-gorge à armature dans le sèche-
linge. Si les renforts en métal venaient à se
détacher pendant le séchage, ils pourraient
endommager le sèche- linge.
• Ne placez pas d’articles en caoutchouc
ou en plastiquedans le sèche-linge,
comme des bonnets de douche ou des
couvertures étanches pour bébé, des
articles en polyéthylène ou en papier.
• Ne placez pas d’articles contenant des
pièces de caoutchouc plaquées, des
vêtements présentant des pièces en
mousse de caoutchouc, des oreillers,
des bottes en caoutchouc et des tennis
recouvertes de caoutchouc dans le sèche-
linge.
• Ôtez briquet, allumettes et tout autre objet
des poches.
! ATTENTION: N’arrêtez pas le sèche-
linge avant la fi n du cycle de séchage si
vous n’avez pas la possibilité de retirer
rapidement tous les articles et de les
étendre pour évacuer la chaleur.
Économie d’énergie et protection de
l’environnement
• Essorez les articles pour éliminer l’eau en excès avant de
les passer au sèche-linge (si vous utilisez une machine à
laver, sélectionnez un cycle d’essorage à grande vitesse).
Ceci vous permettra d’économiser de l’énergie durant le
séchage.
• Séchez toujours des charges complètes – vous
économiserez de l’énergie : les articles uniques ou les
petites charges prennent plus longtemps à sécher.
• Nettoyez le filtre après chaque utilisation pour limiter les
coûts de consommation d’énergie (voir Entretien).

Interruption de l’alimentation
électrique
! Débranchez votre sèche-linge lorsque vous
ne l’utilisez pas, lorsque vous le nettoyez et
durant toutes les opérations d’entretien.
Nettoyage du fi ltre après chaque
cycle
Le filtre est une pièce importante de votre
sèche-linge : il accumule des peluches qui se
forment durant le séchage.
Par conséquent,
une fois le séchage
terminé, nettoyez le
filtre en le rinçant sous
l’eau courante ou
avec votre aspirateur.
Si le filtre devient
bloqué, le flux d’air à
l’intérieur du sèche-
linge est sérieusement
compromis : les temps de séchage sont
allongés et vous consommez davantage
d’énergie. Cela peut aussi endommager votre
sèche-linge.

le joint du sèche-linge
(voir figure).
Pour retirer le filtre :
1. Tirez la poignée en
plastique du filtre vers le
haut (voir figure).
2. Nettoyez le
filtre et remettez-le

Contrôle du tambour après chaque cycle
Tournez le tambour à la main afin de retirer les petits articles
(mouchoirs) qui pourraient y avoir été oubliés.
Nettoyage du tambour
! Pour nettoyer le tambour, ne pas utiliser d’abrasifs, de laine
d’acier ni de produits de nettoyage pour acier inoxydable.
Un film coloré peut parfois apparaître à la surface du
tambour en acier inoxydable. Il peut être dû à une
combinaison de l’eau et/ou des produits de nettoyage (ex.
adoucissant textile provenant du lavage). Ce film coloré
n’affecte pas la performance du sèche-linge.
Nettoyage du sèche-linge
• Pour nettoyer l’extérieur en métal et en plastique et les
parties en caoutchouc, utiliser un chiffon humide.
• Vérifiez périodiquement le tuyau de ventilation et toutes
les autres parties du système de ventilation et enlever toute
accumulation de peluches et les peluches.
! N’utilisez ni solvant, ni abrasif.
! Faites régulièrement vérifier votre sèche-linge par un
technicien agréé pour vous assurer que les parties
électriques et mécaniques fonctionnent sans danger (voir
Service après vente).

Sélection d’un programme
1. Raccordez le sèche-linge à la prise électrique.
2. Triez votre linge selon le type de textile (voir Linge).
3. Ouvrez le hublot et vérifiez si le filtre est propre et en place (voir Entretien).
4. Remplissez la machine et vérifiez si les vêtements ne bloquent pas le joint. Fermez la porte.
5. Choisissez le temps de séchage en vérifant le tableau de Guide de Séchage pour le type de tissu que vous séchez (voir Linge).
- Réglez la température avec le bouton TEMPÉRATURE.
- Sélectionnez un programme de séchage en tournant le bouton de MINUTERIE dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
6. Appuyez sur le bouton DÉPART pour commencer. L’écran affiche une estimation du temps nécessaire à la fin du
programme. Au cours du programme de séchage, vous pouvez vérifier le linge et sortir les vêtements secs pendant que
les autres continuent à sécher. Lorsque vous refermez le hublot, appuyez sur DÉPART pour redémarrer le séchage.
7. Au cours des dernières minutes des programmes de séchage, avant leur terme, le système active la phase de
refroidissement du tambour (les vêtements sont refroidis). Cette phase doit toujours avoir lieu.
8. Ouvrez la porte, sortez votre linge, nettoyez le filtre et remettez-le en place (voir Entretien).
9. Débranchez le sèche-linge.

• Séchage : si vous avez l’intention de repasser certains de
vos vêtements, vous pouvez les sortir de la machine alors
qu’ils sont encore un peu humides. Les autres vêtements
peuvent y rester plus longtemps si vous voulez qu’ils en
sortent entièrement secs.
• Le réglage de la température.
• La température ambiante : si la pièce dans laquelle
le sèche-linge est installé est froide, cela prendra plus
longtemps à l’appareil pour sécher vos vêtements.
• Le volume : certains articles volumineux peuvent être
séchés en machine avec quelques précautions. Nous
vous suggérons de retirer plusieurs fois ces articles de la
machine, de les secouer et de les remettre dans le sèche-
linge jusqu’à ce que celui-ci ait terminé de les sécher.

Que faire en cas de panne
Causes / Solutions possibles :
• La fiche n’est pas suffisamment insérée dans la prise murale pour qu’il y ait contact.
• Il y a une panne de courant.
• Le fusible a sauté. Essayez de brancher un autre appareil dans la même prise
électrique.
• Si vous utilisez une rallonge, essayez de brancher le cordon d’alimentation du sèche-
linge directement dans la prise.
• Le bouton de MINUTERIE n’a pas été convenablement réglé (voir Démarrage et
Programmes).
• Le bouton DÉPART n’est pas enfoncé (voir Démarrage et Programmes).
• Le bouton DÉPART est enclenché alors que la porte est ouverte. Veillez à ce que
la porte soit fermée avant d’appuyer sur le bouton DÉPART (voir Démarrage et
Programmes).
! Si le bouton DÉPART est enclenché alors que la porte est ouverte, le sèche-linge
ne démarrera pas. Fermez la porte, patientez quelques secondes puis appuyez à
nouveau sur le bouton DÉPART (voir Démarrage et Programmes).
• Le filtre n’a pas été nettoyé (voir Entretien).
• La température choisie n’est pas idéale pour le type de textile que vous séchez (voir
Démarrage et Programmes).
• Le programme correct n’a pas été sélectionné pour cette charge (voir Démarrage et
Programmes).
• Le tuyau d’aération flexible pourrait être bouché (voir Installation).
• Le tuyau d’arrivée d’air est bloqué (voir Installation).
• Les volets de ventilation permanents sur la grille d’évacuation sont bloqués (voir
Installation).
• Les articles étaient trop mouillés (voir Linge).
• Le sèche-linge était surchargé (voir Linge).
Si vous trouvez que le sèche-linge ne fonctionne pas correctement, avant de contacter le Service après-vente (voir Réparation),
consultez attentivement le tableau suivant afin de pouvoir résoudre les problèmes éventuels :

Informations pour le recyclage et la mise au rebut
Dans le cadre de notre engagement envers la protection de l’environnement, nous nous réservons le droit d’utiliser des pièces
recyclées de qualité afin de réduire les coûts pour notre clientèle et de limiter les gaspillages de matières premières.
• Mise au rebut du matériel d’emballage : respectez les réglementations locales, de manière à ce que l’emballage puisse être
recyclé.
• Pour éviter que des enfants se blessent, ôtez la porte et la prise et puis coupez le câble secteur au ras de l’appareil. Jetez ces
pièces séparément de sorte que l’appareil ne puisse plus être branché sur une prise de secteur.
Mise au rebut des électroménagers usagés
La directive européenne 2012/19/CE sur les déchets d’équipements électriques et électroniques (DEEE), prévoit que les
électroménagers ne peuvent pas être traités comme des déchets solides urbains normaux. Les appareils usagés doivent faire
l’objet d’une collecte séparée pour optimiser le taux de récupération et de recyclage des matériaux qui les composent et
empêcher tout danger pour la santé et pour l’environnement. Le symbole de la poubelle barrée est appliqué sur tous les

deur.

réparer par vous-même ou en demandant à une personne

blesser et d’endommager la machine. De plus, la garantie
risque de ne plus être valable.
